Kenji, Tarzan, Jane, Professor Archimedes, Terk and Tantor have made it to the Trading Post. It was located near the coast of Africa where the water was, it was a building that has settled there for probably one year. There were people there working and some a taking break.

"So why are we here?" asked Kenji curiously.

"Some of my lab equipment has some damages to it and is beyond repair since my experiment suffered a set back. So I know they got something here I can replace it with." said Professor Archimedes.

"But your okay right? No cuts, bruises, no bleeding, no internal injuries, nothing broken and no damages to the body?" asked Kenji as he was making sure of it.

"I'm completely fine, my boy, it takes more than a accident from a failed experimental attempt to take me down." said Professor Archimedes as he showed he was unharmed.

Kenji felt reassured to know that. As hey were at the Trading Post, they stopped as they knew that the one who ran the place was here somewhere. It didn't take long for them to spot a tall male human with short dark hair that was kept brushed back to let them know that the one who ran the Trading Post was there.

"Tarzan, what brings you and your family here?" said the man they spotted.

He walked over to them and when he did, he stopped as his face was in the direction of Kenji.

"Why are you looking at Kenji, Renard?" said Jane looking a bit curious.

"I didn't know that the boy was still alive after the last time we saw him." said Renard looking a bit surprised.

This made them all curious, they must have known that Kenji had passed by the Trading Post when he made it to Africa but they were surprised to know that Renard knew Kenji.

"I've made a full recovery Renard Dumont, it thanks these guys I'm alive." said Kenji as he seemed to know Renard.

"How do you know this guy?" asked Terk curiously.

Kenji was silent at first, they all started to know he didn't come to Africa on foot but probably by boat or something.

"I came here by life boat." said Kenji finally.

As they heard this, Kenji pulled out something he had in one of his front pockets and he pulled out what looked like a gold coin that looked like it was still new and kept preserved. He handed it to Renard.

"Renard, Professor Archimedes needs to replace some of his lab equipment, that will cover what ever he'll need." said Kenji as he walked off.

Renard took a look at the gold coin and recognized the markings and designs of it immediately, he almost looked like he would fall to the ground out of surprise.

"The gold coin is very rare, they haven't had gold like this since over three hundred years ago. Where did he find this?" said Renard as he was a bit stunned.

"Oddly, I found it on the ground somewhere in the jungle but don't bother looking for more, I checked and that's all that's left." said Kenji as he was stairing out at the water.

Professor Archimedes and Renard started to speak to each other about what Professor Archimedes was going to need to replace some of his equipment. Tarzan, Jane, Terk and Tantor walked over to Kenji as he was stairing out into the water.

"Kenji, why didn't you tell us you came here by life boat?" asked Tantor looking concerned.

"I didn't plan on being on a life boat, it was an accident." said Kenji as he wasn't facing them.

Tantor placed his trunk on Kenji's shoulder and gave it a gentle rub, it was as if he was trying to ease the emotional weight off him by taking some of the weight off his back.

"You wanna talk about it?" asked Tantor. "People feel better about talking to someone about their problems."

Kenji was silent again, knowing that it wasn't going to be easy to tell them, he let out a sigh.

"In Japan, I knew that I had no chance at what I really wanted. I was housed in an orphanage for quite some time, I had no other family out there, my mom died in an accident when I was little and my dad, well, he was in prison for what he did and he was serving a life sentence." said Kenji as he explained. "As time went by at the orphanage, I was showing signs of higher intelligence than anyone my age and two people at this university were observing me for a while and they discovered I had a gift of higher intelligence, I was than housed at this school for gifted children."

They listened to Kenji and were starting to see this wasn't easy for him to tell anyone as Kenji wasn't looking at them, he kept his face looking at the water.

"All they wanted to do was nurture my gifted brain and my talents, everytime I saw kids playing, sure I wanted to join in but the two people told me there wasn't time for that, so I went a long time through this but I knew that with the life style I had, I wouldn't find what I wanted there, so I ran away and stowed away on a boat." explained Kenji as he continued. "I had no idea where the boat was going but I knew it would take me somewhere to let me find a chance at a better life or a better chance at finding the life I wanted. But we one day faced a storm and the boat hit something that started to make the boat sink. I was trying to find out what hit the boat but I fell in a life boat. The last time I saw the boat I stowed away on, the boat sank, everyone onboard was dead, over a thousand people died and there was nothing I could do."

As they listened, they started to see why Kenji at first didn't want to speak to anyone about it. It wouldn't be easy for any kid to tell anyone of the tragic events.

"The life boat brought me here when I woke up, I saw that the life was damaged while I was asleep. The damages to the life boat made most of the supplies become lost in the water or got contaminated by sea water and made what ever food was left to be no good. All that was left of the supplies in the life boat was the extendable knife, the water canteen that was full, a musical instrument and a backpack. The life boat was beyond repair and I see that the life boat washed ashore near the Trading Post." said Kenji as he continued. "Renard and some of his people here saw me, they at first wanted to see if I was alright but I ran off, I wasn't sure if they were the good guys or not because I was whacked out of my mind from stress and fear. I had been out there for two days without sleep, I managed to live off little food I found in the trees. I did encounter Tublat once, but I was warned of him being nearby when Kerchak's spirit contacted me from my mind."

"You can speak to the spirits of the dead?" said Tarzan looking a bit surprised.

"Yes, it's never happened before. It wasn't long till I found you guys and settled here." said Kenji as he was done and he turned to face them with a look of slight depression.

As they looked, they knew that Kenji needed support and Tantor gently used his trunk to pull Kenji close to him and hugged him with his trunk gently.

"Kenji, we're sorry you went through all that. You know if something is ever bothering you, than you can tell us about it, even if it's something embarrassing, we know to be supportive of that." said Tantor as he used the tip of his trunk to rub Kenji's head.

Kenji was feeling better to know that, he was at first afraid they wouldn't understand but he felt happy that they understood. He hugged Tantor back for a bit till they both released their grip from each other.

"Thanks Tantor." said Kenji with a grin.

"So when ever you went through all that, how did you cope with the pain or sadness or anything really?" asked Terk. "I'm just curious to know is all."

"Music, everytime I listened to a song or two, it helped me back on my feet." said Kenji as he turned and saw an Acoustic Guitar nearby.

Kenji walked over towards where the guitar was and the others saw him going towards it, wondering what he was about to do but figured he was going to play the instrument that was nearby. There was a young man standing next to the guitar and Kenji stood in front of him.

"Sir, is that your guitar?" asked Kenji curiously.

"Yes it is." said the man.

Kenji motioned him to come closer to him with his hand. The man obeyed him and Kenji whispered something in his ear and what ever he told the man, it made him smile. The man took the guitar in his hands and started to tune it. Tarzan, Jane, Terk and Tantor got a little closer to see what was going to happen next. The man started to play the guitar and the sound of the musical tune being played sounded like it had a mix of light rock music with something soulful musical tune added to it. Everyone turned to see what was going on and knew Kenji was probably about to the one singing to the tune. Kenji started to sing.

"B-b-better in stereo"

As Kenji started to sing, he sounded like he had a beautiful voice that sounded like it came from a musical radio broadcast. The music continued as it was starting to become a bit louder but had a soft tune to it.

"B-b-better in stereo"

The music got better and Kenji was showing some real talent and potential as he was singing a bit louder and everyone watched, even Renard and Professor Archimedes went and saw Kenji performing and saw he was really good. The music sounded like it got to a better beat.

"I'm up with the sunshine, let's go! I lace up my high-tops oh, no! Slam dunk, ready or not. Yeah, show me what you got. I'm under the spotlight, holler, I dare you, come on and follow. You dance to your own beat, I'll sing the melody. When you say "Yeah", I say "No" When you say "Stop", all I wanna do is go, go, go!"

The music got more soulful and powerful as everyone was looking amazed and entertained by this. Terk even for some reason had the urge to go over to Kenji and dance with him as his foot paw was tapping.

"You, you, the other half of me, me, the half I'll never be-e, the half that drives me crazy. You, you, the other half of me, me, the half I'll always need, need, we both know, we're better in stereo"

As everyone saw this, many of them smiled and tapped their feet while Terk knew she couldn't resist anymore and started to dance her way towards Kenji's direction. The music got a bit lighter in sound.

"B-b-better in stereo, oh, oh, oh"

Terk got closer to Kenji as the young human teenager saw her and began to dance his feet a bit to the music as he sang.

"B-b-better in stereo, oh, oh, oh"

Now Terk was next to Kenji and she was dancing in a form where she kind of showed off her big butt to Kenji and than motioned him with her finger to come closer and so Kenji did. They both even began to stand next to each other and smiled, blushing too. The music got to it's soulful and powerful beat.

"And when we're together, oh yeah, In sweet harmony, oh so rare, If we could just agree, we would go major league. When you say "Yeah", I say "No" When you say "Stop", all I wanna do is go, go, go!"

The song got a bit more soulful and some light pop music was added to the tune. Terk took Kenji's hand and both of them began to dance together as if it was like they were both ballroom dancing.

"You, you, the other half of me, me, the half I'll never be-e, the half that drives me crazy. You, you, the other half of me, me, the half I'll always need, need, we both know, we're better in stereo"

Terk and Kenji stopped dancing and started to hold each others hands as they both blushed and smiled, it was like they were having a romantic moment together as the music got softer and lighter with the rock musical tune hinted in it.

"You say "It's wrong", I say "It's right"

They looked at each other and their feet started tapping to the music as Kenji was proving to have a beautiful voice when it came to singing and both Terk and Kenji showed to be very good dancers.

"You say "It's black", I say "It's white" You take a left and I take a right. But at the end of the day we both know, we're better...O-o-o-oh yeah"

Kenji's voice got very powerful at the ending of the verse from the song he sang as the music got back to it's soulful and powerful tune once again and both Terk and Kenji began dancing again as everyone watched and cheered for them as the performance was turning out to be very entertaining. Eve Terk began to sing along with Kenji and she too had a beautiful voice too.

"You, you, the other half of me, me, the half I'll never be-e, the half that drives me crazy, Oh it does me so, you, you, the other half of me, me, the half I'll always need, need. We both know, we're better in stereo"

Kenji and Terk were really good dancers which of course everyone was surprised but amazed to see this. This song got louder and the soulful tune got powerful.

"B-b-better in stereo. Better in stereo, oh, oh"

The song was now getting to the best part as the music got more powerful with it's soulful tune. Terk and Kenji continued to dance together as they seemed to like it.

"Better in stereo, oh, oh. Better in stereo. B-b-better in stereo, oh, oh. Better in stereo"

Kenji and Terk stopped dancing and the song got softer and quieter slowly as they all were amazed at the performance. As the musical tune faded away till it stopped, something kicked into Terk that was either out of excitement or she probably wasn't thinking. Terk pulled Kenji into her arms and planted a surprise kiss to Kenji's lips. Everyone saw them two kiss as Kenji was caught off guard by it but he closed his eyes as Terk gave him a passionate kiss. Kenji's heart felt like it skipped a beat or two and once Terk pulled her big lips off him in a loud and wet pop, Kenji's world was spinning and felt like fireworks were going off in his head. Terk than realized what she just did as Kenji fainted from the kiss and landed on his back, eyes closed.

"Did Terk just." said Tantor as he stopped at mid-sentence.

Tarzan and Jane nodded. Terk knew she had to think quick and she picked up Kenji in her arms, tossed him up in the air a bit and had Kenji laying on her back, than Terk took off with Kenji on her back as she headed back to the jungle with Kenji on her back, disappearing from sight and everyone who worked at the Trading Post applauded for both Kenji and Terk's performance.

"I think I got everything I need, Renard." said Professor Archimedes.

"Good doing business with you and the young lad, but the kiss there, let's keep that between ourselves." said Renard. "I'll admit, he's a good singer and dancer."

"I agree with you on all of that. But if you tease Kenji about this, than you'll get an earful from me." said Professor Archimedes as he gave Renard a stern look.

"Yes Professor Archimedes." said Renard as he knew he had to obey.

Tarzan and Jane helped Professor Archimedes carry his newly bought equipment that he needed and Tantor helped out too as he would have some of it loaded on his back to help carry some of it. As they headed back to the jungle, they knew there was going to be so many things popping into their heads. Kenji and Terk being good dancers and good singers amazed them, but they knew that as they saw Terk and Kenji kiss, there was going to be a bit of awkwardness or something going on. Even as Terk carried Kenji back to the jungle, there was a smile on both Kenji and Terk's faces from the kiss but Terk was a bit worried now about how things between her and Kenji will be since she kissed him from right out of the blue. But little did all of them know that there was a mysterious man who wasn't a worker at the Trading Post. A mysterious man dressed in black was watching Kenji the whole time he performed and he got a picture of Kenji with his camera for some reason.

"Looks like I found you, Kenji Hitsugaya." said the man dressed in black.
