Character background- I'll update these in the following chapters as new main characters are added.

Our main character is Bash Subito, an anthropomorphic coyote, though we find he isn't much of a purebred. He's the good guy of our tale, and has the qualities of such, spirit and a strong sense of justice. Bash has a good sense of humor and likes to make friends; sometimes this gets him into trouble. His emotions are typically on display for all, seeing as his ears change color depending on what mood he's in. His goal is a mystery for now but soon will be revealed. He's a virgin, though we aren't sure how long that'll last. (Ha, ha) Our main character is Bash, but I'll narrate mostly from Song's point of view until a few more of the mysteries around Bash are revealed.

Song- She's beautiful, a fox with tiger stripes and she knows how to use that beauty to get what she wants. She's a successful owner of an inn but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a few secrets of her own. Something in her wants to know more about Bash, which is what brings her into this tale. She's very curious by nature.

He drew the eyes of everyone in the bar for a few moments after entering, even hers. Not that it was some great feat; she always examined guests to her inn very closely. This one though, was quite different than any she had seen before. He closed the door behind him, for one; usually one of the maids or people near the door would, before the frigid winds froze them.

"Hey, how's everybody doin'?" The coyote said, shaking flakes of snow out of his hazel fur onto the hardwood floor. Grumbles from the guests in the room were his only reply.

She felt herself liking this coyote more and more every second. His clothes were strange, a fact that gave him an air of mysteriousness. He wore dark red pants and a burgundy jacket, under which was a long-sleeved red shirt. Shrugging off his cool welcome, he walked to the bar, where the tender, a cute female kangaroo, greeted him with a smile.

"Hey, nice to see this whole room isn't as cold as it is out there." He said. "I'll get a brandy."

"Sure thing." She grabbed a bottle from the shelf behind her and poured it into a small glass. "Here you go."

"Thanks." He gulped it down, grimacing. "Ugh, I hate this stuff, but it does warm you up." He took a gold coin out of his pocket and placed it on the bar. "D' you know who I need to see about getting a room?"

"That would be me. I own this inn" He turned to finally see the one who had been watching him since he first entered the room. His jaw nearly dropped at the sight of her and his ears turned bright red. She was beautiful, some kind of combination between a vixen and a tigress, with gold fur, striped with black, and a long, white tipped tail. "My name is Song, nice to meet you, stranger."

He shook his head as if coming out of a trance, making the roo behind the bar giggle. Song got this all the time. "Nice to meet you too. My name's Bash."

"So, Bash, you wanted to see about a room? We have one left actually, lucky you." The roo wondered where her employer was going with this. As far as she knew, all of the rooms were occupied. "Let's go to a table, you must be famished." She led him to a table in a corner of the room where a scented candle sat.

Almost immediately, a waitress came and took his order, leaving them alone. "What brings you here? I've never seen clothes like yours before so I assume you're far from home."

"Got wanderlust, I guess you could say. I like to explore." He leaned back in his chair, his ears returning to their natural color. "And yeah, you're right about me bein' far from home."

She nodded, smiling. There was more to it than simply being a wanderer. So, he had a few secrets, she respected that. Cor knows, she had her share. He looked so innocent though, and he was so young. It was then, that she knew she had to fuck him, something in her wanted to take that innocence away in the way only sex can.

"Sumthin', wrong?" He asked, fixing her with amber eyes. "You're just starin'. Hope you see sumthin' you like." Some strange smell emanated from her, a scent that would have driven him wild with lust, had he not just been getting over a cold.

"You don't have to worry about that. Dinner won't be ready for a while so I'll show you to your room so you can drop your things off."

"Sure." Bash replied. They got up, and she led the way down a door-lined hall, which divided into two more. They took the path to the right and within' moments were at his room. She opened the door and let him step inside first.

"Wow, looks like you gave me the V.I.P. room." A bed with silk sheets was at the center of the room, and several candles were also placed through the room.

"Yes, and very important people like yourself have important needs." She hugged him from behind, having to stoop just a bit to nuzzle his shoulder.

He suddenly realized what the smell was and cursed himself for not knowing sooner. His body relaxed and he enjoyed the sensation, sighing. He smiled as he felt her paws massage his chest, then slowly made their way down to his pants. He felt her tongue lick his ear and he had the almost overpowering urge to turn around and take her then, but through some amazing feat of will power, he didn't. Instead, he broke away from her embrace and turned to face her, breathing heavily.

She stepped closer, caressing his cheek. "What's wrong?"

Her allure was almost unbearable now, he felt like he was going to pass out from the strain of not fucking this beautiful vixen. Her perfect curves called out to him, and his body screamed for him to comply.

"Stop." He said, practically shaking. His ears had turned bright red again. "I can't do that. I appreciate the gesture, but I can't."

"What's wrong?" Song repeated. The scent was slowly dissipating and he felt his body relax again. "Did I do something wrong? You aren't... gay, are you?" He had to be, no one had ever denied her before.

"No!" His ears turned a bright pink; this time embarrassed she would even guess that. "'Course not!" Bash said, and immediately regretted it, seeing the crestfallen look on her face. "It's complicated, I just can't do this right now. Listen, you're hot, with two 'T's even, I would do you in a second but, I've got a lot on my plate."

She nodded, sad that she had been denied. But the fact that he had some sense of morality made her want him all the more. Her pussy was soaked, just from brief contact with him. No one had ever done that to her either. Who was this kid? She felt like a horny schoolgirl who had just been denied by the teacher.

"I guess that isn't good enough huh, so you'll want some sort of explanation. I'll tell you over dinner if you want." Composing herself, she agreed. "Okay, just let me put my stuff down. He took the knapsack off his back, allowing her a full view of the wide sword sheath on his back. He flung his belongings on the bed, save his sword and turned around. "After you."

She went to open the door, giving him a chance to fantasize about her.

"I thought better of it." He said. "I'll lead."

"How old are you?" She asked the coyote.

"Huh? I'll be eighteen in a few weeks." She shook her head, in disbelief of his youth. She was nearly ten years older than him, yet it seemed just the opposite. She contented herself with fantasizing how sex with Bash would be. I bet he could be quite dominant, if he wanted, she mused.

"Tell me, what kind of armor is that on your paw?" She had seen it occasionally before but seeing as his left paw was usually buried in his pocket, she hadn't gotten much opportunity.

"This?" He raised his hand nonchalantly. "This's my Draegon's claw." It was a sort of gauntlet, coated with silver, stopping short of his pawtips.

They entered the bar again, taking their seats at a table, and within a few minutes, the waitress had brought Bash his fish. Immediately, the coyote wolfed it down like he had never eaten before.

Song stood and strode over to her employee at the bar. "That was quick." The roo said. "He must've been a virgin."

"He turned me down."

"What?!"

"Yeah, I know. I've never met anyone like him. He was trying so hard too." She chuckled.

"You sure he just isn't gay?"

"Yes! He told me so, and he isn't a liar, I can see that. Too bad he isn't a little older." The vixen sighed longingly. "He's only seventeen."

"You're kidding. He has to be the only seventeen year old in the world that isn't a horn dog. I kind of wish he was, I could have a lot of fun with him." She licked her lips.

"Don't get any ideas Mira." Sora warned as the front door opened, inviting in the cold wind. Another furre walked in, this one a polar bear who would have towered over Bash, standing at an impressive 10'6''. A male, he wore only jeans, his sculpted chest bare to the elements.

Unlike Bash however, this visitor had no cheery greetings to offer, nor did he close the door. He looked around the room with piercing eyes as if looking for something, and found it. His gaze rested on Bash, who was oblivious to everything except his meal.

"Bash! I am Foraw, here to arrest you on behalf of the ice breakers of the Gualo tribe." He said gruffly.

"Huh?" He looked up, just noticing the bear. He replied with his mouth full. "Who muh?" He stood, gulping down the mouthful. "You guys caught up with me pretty fast this time, I'm impressed." All eyes rested on Bash. A fugitive of an ice breaking tribe? What would he do, what did he do?

The bear raised his claws, sharpened killing devices that would easily tear the coyote in two. "Come peacefully and you will not be harmed."

"Sorry, I'll have to decline, as tempting as that sounds." He cracked the knuckles on his gloved paw, "Let's take this outside." Bash walked to the bear but stopped short, turning to Song. "Sorry you won't get an explanation, I won't be coming back. In that bag, I had a few belongings and some money. That should cover the expenses." He followed Foraw out the door, a grim look of determination on his face.

"I can't believe you'd rather fight out here, this isn't even your element." Foraw said. "Apart from deciding to come peacefully, this will a mistake you'll surely regret."

"Just thought I would be evening the odds." The coyote smirked. Suddenly the bear appeared in front of him, fast for his size. A claw flew down to hew him in two, but Bash hopped away, too fast. A wall of ice rose out of the ground behind him, trapping him as Foraw attacked again. Coyote leapt over the claws and turned biting the bear's shoulder but all he got was fur. Suddenly ice formed around him from the snow, encasing his body. "Dammit!"

"You're through." Foraw stated. "Huh?" He stepped back, taken aback by the smile that had appeared on Bash's face.

"I want to see this." Song said, rushing out the door. She arrived just in time to find Bash carrying the unconscious Foraw towards the inn, the bear resting on his shoulder. "H- How?" She stammered.

"Could I get some help?" He said, breathing hard. She helped him drag Foraw into the bar, where several of the guests immediately left for their rooms. "He's still alive, though he'll have a monster headache when he wakes up." They dropped him on the floor by the bar and Bash tossed the barmaid a coin. "A brandy for my friend here when he wakes."

He walked to the door, where outside, the wind had picked up, showing the beginnings of a snowstorm. "Where are you going?" Mira asked. "You'll catch your death of cold out there."

"I'll be fine. Plus, it's not like I can stay here." He nodded towards the unconscious bear.

He walked out the door and suddenly Song ran back to her room. She grabbed his things and darted back up front. Bash was already gone. "Mind the inn for me until I get back." She told her friend.

"What? Don't tell me you're going out there too? You're as crazy as he is!" Song wasn't listening though as she walked out the door into the cold. She looked at the snow, having to search for the coyote paw-marks that were rapidly disappearing under the fresh snow.

"Bash!" She called, following the trail. "Bash!" Before she knew it, she was out of town and the storm had gotten worse. She was at the base of a hill of snow, considering going back to her inn when she saw him. He stood at the top of the hill, looking at something. "Bash!" She rushed to his side.

"Song?" He turned, surprised to see her. "What are you doing out here? It's freezing."

"I'm going with you." She said.

"You can't. You'll regret it and you'll only get hurt. You have a good life there, stay."

"I'm going with you." She repeated, handing him his things. "You owe me an explanation, remember?" Part of her felt bad for using that as a reason. Honestly, she didn't think he owed her anything; she came on to him after all. "Please?"

"Fine." He sighed, depressed. He couldn't believe what he was doing. Whenever he saw her all he thought was yiff, yiff, and more yiff. How was he going to travel with her without doing that? Not to mention the danger. He was pretty sure he could protect her, and if things did get rough he could always tell his pursuers that he had kidnapped her. They wouldn't hurt her then, and it wasn't like it would get him in any worse trouble. "Let's find some shelter and I'll tell you."

"Okay, I'm freezing."

"Huh? Why didn't you bring a... Forget it." She still wore the short-sleeved shirt that cut off at her midriff, revealing her smooth stomach. The pants weren't hiking material but would do for now. She smiled, noticing him staring. He finally realized what he was doing and looked away, eartips pink, and handed her his jacket. "Here."

"Thanks." She said, taking it. A velvet jacket wasn't really going to help her. When she put it on, she found herself wrong; the jacket warmed her better than any coat could have, her whole body felt warm.

"I'll explain later." He said, shivering. His shirt was definitely too light for this weather, and his fur was just as useless. "I saw a cave not too far from here, come on." They pushed on through the winds, and Song began to realize how foolish it had been to just leave like that. Mira would be worried about her and she could have taken care of a few other matters too.

After a few minutes, which seemed like hours to Bash, they had come close enough to the cave that they could see it against the rocky side which marked the beginning of the badlands.

"I something to ask you before I tell my story." Bash said, shaking snow out of his fur as soon as they got in the cave. "What are the lands to the north like?"

She shrugged, walking to the back of the cave. "I can't say I'm really an expert when it comes to it. Well... not too far from here are the wastelands, which are a lot warmer, even in the winter. I've been in them, but not too far, they're treacherous. And... above the wastelands it gets better, there's the city, Lunaval, which is one of the biggest cities here, maybe the biggest, you can get almost anywhere from there, but it's some distance away."

"Okay. I'll figure something out then." He sat down cross-legged on the dirt, snapped his paws and a flame flickered into existence over it. It grew larger and larger until it became a fire large enough to heat the entire cave. He placed it on the ground in front of him and, as if by some miracle, it didn't go out. Bash drew the sword on his back and stuck it in the ground, in the middle of the flames. "I guess I should explain how I could do that, huh?"

"That would be a good start."

"Well, take a seat by the fire and get comfortable, 'cause 's not like we're going anywhere."

"I'll start from the beginning, tell me if you get lost, 'kay?" He inhaled deeply, sighing. "It started a while ago, when I was just fourteen. The year before I had found out I had the ability to control fire. It's a strange talent, something very few are born with and I just happened to be lucky enough to be one. Well, anyone who shows potential to be a breaker is sent to a special school, where if you manage to make it one year you're officially a breaker, though the tribe and clan remains to be seen. You know about the different breaking tribes and clans, right? I'll get to it in a sec anyway.

"So I was sent there along with a lot of others, I made a few good friends, and out of the three hundred from all over the eastern hemisphere, twenty seven of us made it. I was one."

"Wait, what do you mean the east hemisphere? I thought the breakers are from all over the world?" She asked.

"No, but they don't let everyone know that. The west is a whole other story, from what I've heard. I haven't been there... yet. Anyway, we were pretty excited, my whole group, the five of us had made it, though we knew we'd have to split eventually. We were then divided into groups of four, each commanded by two elders, so we could be tested in other areas, to see what clan we would be in. I was separated from my four friends and they were all grouped together. I was grouped with a few others who I had never met before.

"We all did well, and enjoyed being around the elders, Commander Baxter, who had been in the military, though he later left, and Ayana, who later became my personal master.

"I was never accepted into any clan or tribe, none of them would have me due to a few incidents." He smiled ruefully, shaking his head.

"I kind of fell in love with Ayana, which made it that much easier for her to use me. She taught me things, things about the world nobeast should ever know, she taught me the secrets of existence. You've heard of Cor, haven't you?"

"The legendary Cor? Of course I have, the warrior who saved the world? Who hasn't heard of him?"

"Yeah, well as you know no one had ever managed to recover his sword, the energy around it would prove too powerful for anybeast. I got it, something I'm sure none of the tribes would be happy to hear you know. They don't want anyone to know that a mutt coyote like me was able to get the sword wielded by Cor. All that power in my paws, they're afraid. Most of the breakers sent after me don't even know the real reason or else they'd never be doing this. That's half the reason they're after me." He stared at the flames, thinking until Song stirred him out of his thoughts.

"Where are you going then? To run away?"

Bash shook his head, "I have no idea now, I'm just trying to figure out what to do while staying one step ahead of them. If I told everybody the things I knew about the clans of breakers, the corrupt side, things would go out of control. The clans protects us, and without them there would be no peace, civil war would ensue. But even then, the entire order isn't corrupt, it's just the ones pulling the strings. For now though, I'm chasing my master, Ayana, I have a score to settle with her."

"What did she do to you?" Song could think of a few things she'd like to do to him too.

"Maybe some other time." He said, yawning. "You should get some rest, we start out bright and early tomorrow." He extinguished the flames in front of him with a wave of his paw but the sword still glowed dimly, giving some illumination.

"Okay, but one more question."

"Shoot."

"Do they have a reason to be afraid?"

He laughed. "Goodnight." If anything, his not giving her an answer worried her more than it should have, and though she knew she was safe she couldn't help wondering what he was hiding.

"Song." Bash moaned. The vixen lay beneath him, kissing his neck as he nibbled on her ears. Their clothes were gone and they now lay in a meadow of sweet smelling grass. He felt her paws move down to the sheath between his legs and stroke it, bringing a deep, low moan from the coyote. He kissed her, stroking her tongue with his as his dick slowly slid free of its sheath.

"Bash!" She said breathlessly as he stroked her cleft. She gasped each time he touched her lips, and soon his pawtips were coated in her juices.

Then he woke up.

"Oh Bash." Song moaned. She had to admit she was pleasantly surprised when she woke up and Bash was on her, caressing her. She closed her eyes, just enjoying the sensations until they abruptly stopped. She opened her eyes to see Bash looking in hers, a surprised expression on his face. "Why'd you stop?"

"I'm sorry." He said, drawing away. "I don't know what came over me."

"It's okay." She said, taking his paw. "It felt good. You don't need to stop Bash." She stroked the large lump in his pants where his member was, surprised at the amount of warmth there. He stood and she pulled his pants down, smiling at the sight of his dick. It was large, ten inches at least, and thicker than any she had ever had before.

Without any hesitation, she put her mouth on it and sucked it, again surprised at the temperature. Unable to fit the whole thing in her mouth, she stroked from the base up with one paw and his balls with the other. He tasted so good, a flavor unlike that of any dick she had tasted.

He groaned as she slowly made her way up, making sure to grind every part of her body against his cock. They kissed again, tongues fondling the other's. Suddenly Song felt a hot point press against her cleft. His cock slowly went into her, stretching her lips around it tightly. He lifted her legs up over his shoulders, then secured her by holding her back as he began to pump in and out of her like a piston. She couldn't help letting out a sigh when he pushed in her almost hilt deep, a red hot poker being soaked with her juices.

She bounced faster and faster on his lap, feeling herself come closer and closer to the edge of climaxing. The knot just outside her pussy was huge now, and throbbing in time with his heartbeat. The heat between her legs grew and she moaned louder and louder until...

Orgasm!

It hit her like a wave, diving her over the cliff and into a sea of pleasure. Bash plunged with her, pushing his knot into her with one powerful thrust, tying them together and kissing her as her pussy milked his cock for all it was worth, squeezing around it as it shot hot seed inside of her. With one final thrust he shot himself into her, giving one last grunt.

She slumped on his chest, breathing heavily, their sweat mingling. He sat down, the vixen still on his lap and they kissed, deeply and passionately. She noticed they had been in such a hurry, he hadn't even taken off his shirt.

For a while they just sat there, kissing and cooling off, Song catching her breath. "Would you be surprised if I told you that was my first time?" Bash said, chuckling and running a paw through her hair.

"You're just full of surprises, aren't you? Well, I'll have to show you a few of my tricks next time."

"Come on. We have to keep moving." It had been a while, Song had spent twenty minutes with him inside her but she still didn't want to break away from him that soon. She got off of him, allowing him to stand. "I'm sorry, I'd love to just lay here with you, but we have to keep moving, they could catch up with us any time now."

What was he? She thought. He had come on to her, as hesitant as he was, and now he was already prepared to move. Wasn't there supposed to be a warm tingly feeling after sex. Shouldn't they be snuggling right now, not a care in the world? They put on their clothes without speaking and she threw on his jacket.

Grabbing his sword he put it in the sheath on his back and strode to the entrance of the cave. Despite the fact that they had sex, he still seemed distant. Was that just lust she felt from him, or did he actually like her. Considering, there was almost no chance it was because he liked her, they had only known each other for a day, and for her it was mostly lust for him, but she could feel herself beginning to like the coyote.

"I like you." He said, as if he had read her thoughts. "You remind me of a girl I knew a long time ago. She had... the same eyes." Then, before she could ask who the girl was. "Come on, let's get moving."

She followed him out of the cave into a fresh new morning. She always loved mornings after a night's snow. Everything always seemed so... fresh. She took a deep breath of the cool air and set off after Bash.
