Chapter 3: Hidden no more.
~4 years later, Forbidden lands, Spire foothills.~
It had been four years since Tom, now Three Sun had joined the hidden valley. Much has changed over the years, unfortunately all for the worse. Dragons from all the septs are randomly being take away. It is unknown for what but they have never been seen again. Now wyrms infest all the land, the mere dozen the great wyrm arrived with has become hundreds maybe even thousands. Dragons from the earth and fire sept are also being forced to work, constructing something within the walls of cruelties heart. What ever it is only the workers and the wyrms know and the workers are unable to speak of it due to some kind of sorcery.
The hidden valley on the other hand though has gotten stronger, more and more dragons have been joining the ranks and are all under the leadership of Stone Breaker with Grey Moon as his advisor. As of late the valley has become more militant, launching small raids upon the dragon lands. Three Sun has now reached adulthood and has become a valuable member of the team, mainly due to his powers and his extra heads making him the best lookout. But how long can this all last before the hidden valley is no longer hidden.
A patrol of wyrms slithered across the ground in the foothills, they had established by now that the rebels where operating somewhere in the area and so kept searching. Little did they know they where no where near there target but where still being watched. "Six wyrms, easy enough." Flame Wolf whispered.
"Indeed, but I guess I should make the numbers even anyway." Three Sun replied and started charging his power. Fire Wolf and Leaf wing stayed hidden and waited a few moments. Three Sun then blasted a light beam from each head, each hitting a wyrm and reducing them to dust. As the wyrms turned to find the source they where hit by a burst of flame, killing another and wounded a second. The last one to be fine was about to charge the three but stopped as something rushed past him and his throat was cut, leaving him to fall over dead. The wounded one looked at the three and tried to get away but was unable to move.
"I think we should take this one prisoner, could get useful information out of him." Flame Wolf said.
"No, Stone said not to risk bringing any wyrms into the valley." Three Sun said.
"Oh come on, can we at least interrogate him here?" Flame Wolf asked.
"I agree with Sun here, don't want to risk it. Besides he would just tell us lies or lead us into a trap." Leaf Wing said. Flame Wolf sighed and nodded before quickly breaking the wyrms neck.
"Now that's over let's head home, raiding party should be back soon." Three Sun said and started heading back with the other two.
~Hidden valley, Black Spire mountains.~
The three of them returned to find several dragons being escorted into the valley. Three Sun turned off from the others and landed by Stone Breaker who was watching them being escorted in. "I trust you where successful."
"Yes, no survivors like you asked." Three Sun asked, thinking not for the first time how much Stone Breaker looked like him.
"Good, the valley should stay safe."
"You know that can not last forever Stone.."
"Indeed... You get some rest, I'm going to see Grey Moon about something." Stone Breaker said before flying off.
Stone breaker sat down in Grey Moons hut. "You never fully said before... This prophecy what is it." He asked the old dragon.
"Ah it's about time you asked that question." The old dragon said and pulled out a scroll from many in his hut. "The prophecy was written by one of the wisest of my people several centuries ago."
"Your people? I've seen no others like you." He said.
"That is because you don't look far enough." The old dragon said and added. "Look to the lands to the far east, that is where I left a lifetime ago." He then said. "Now listen, young one... Three stars will rise from a forbidden union and death to cause the fall of the destroyer."
"So Three Sun is the three stars? Why did you call hi.... Wait a second, from a forbidden union?" He asked suddenly realising something.
"Took you this long to figure out... Onyx?" Grey Moon asked.
Onyx glanced at him. "Stone Breaker... Onyx died a long time ago."
"Then that makes you a ghost." Grey Moon said and hit him on the head. "Nope feels real to me."
"Owch..." Stone Breaker said as the old dragon hit him. "Dose it matter? It's all in the past, including a chance to be his father."
"So? This scroll is in the past, I'm in the past, the whole world is in the past. Dose that make it no less real or needed to be responsible for?" The old dragon said.
Stone Breaker grunted and said. "I need time to think this all through." He then left.
Grey Moon sighed slightly as he looked at the scroll of the prophecy. "The Three Suns have been created from the forbidden union.... Now.. The fall is near."
~Later that evening.~
Three Sun shot up in the middle of the night at the sound of an explosion. He looked around to see a fire at the entrance at the valley and a large amount of black creatures heading their way. "Wyrms!!" He heard one of the dragons closer to the entrance shout.
‘Shit they found us...' Three Sun thought and quickly headed out to fight them.
