Caleb, a determined Pokemon trainer comes across an abandoned museum filled with Gengar that chase him. When he encounters the artifacts though, he undergoes a rather shocking transformation.

04. "A Statue for Stature"

"Pokeball go!" Caleb hollered as he threw the red and white sphere from his hand at a fleeing Zubat. It narrowly missed and fell to the ground a few feet ahead of him. The twenty-something trainer ran toward it, pulling another orb from his pocket and he threw it. "Go, Electrode! Slow that Zubat down for me!" He shouted.

"Electrode!" The electric-type appeared from the ball. He looked exactly like a Pokeball, though his colors were inverted. It shot bolts of electricity at the Zubat, who dodged a couple of blasts before finally getting caught in the Electrode's trap. Caleb made a half roll onto his Pokeball and hurled it at the Zubat. The ball struck its target, and in a flash of light, the Pokemon vanished into it.

"Oh boy! I finally caught a Zubat!" He exclaimed as he ran toward the ball, still shuddering and jolting as the Zubat tried to escape it. "And after all this time I thought I was just completely helpless when it came to catching Pokemon!" He laughed as he quickly picked up the ball. "Look Electrode! I finally got a--" There was a loud snapping noise as the area was flooded with a bright light. Caleb gasped as he watched the Zubat's form suddenly expand and escape from its confinement, destroying the Pokeball along with it. "Wait! Wa-ait! Zubat!" He called after the bat-like creature, but it ignored him and continued to fly onward and upward into the morning sky. "Ohhhh no!" Caleb exclaimed, sinking to his knees in an upset fashion as he started to sob. "Useless! I'm a useless trainer! There's nothing I'm good at! Nothing at all!"

"Electrode?" The Pokemon bumped into him lightly as if trying to pat his back with its body.

"You should go back to town on your own." Caleb groaned. "I don't know why you'd want to stick with me... huh?" His thought trailed off as he noticed what looked like a building on the other side of a nearby tree.

Brushing the tree branches aside, he realized that there was a whole huge building he didn't even know about in this forest; it had high walls of a mixture of gunmetal bars and almost completely black windows with a domed ceiling on the top. Never before had he seen such an interesting place, and he'd grown up around here. "Whoa! What is this?!" He asked aloud before looking at Electrode. "You wanna go exploring?" He asked, suddenly with a perkier moodset than before.

Electrode rolled in a sideways circle a moment, looking at the building, then at Caleb. "...Electrode..." he said with a dully quiet objection.

Caleb grinned. "Good! Now, get back in the Pokeball." He said as he patted his pockets and realized that he'd lost the one that contained Electrode. "Awww man... I guess we'll have to get you a new one later. You don't mind walk---err...rolling, do you?"

"Elec-elec-elec-Electrode." He responded bouncing excitedly as he realized that there was no place that would confine him for now. Obediently he wobbled, then rolled in the direction after Caleb, who had started to make his way down the hill toward the building.

As they reached the bottom, the human wiped his hand across a dusty old sign and read off the words. "Museum of Pokemon History" He said aloud. "Oh, wow! That's amazing, a history museum right here and I had no idea!" He giggled gleefully, then looked at the tall building, and realized what this meant. "Why would a place this cool have been abandoned? I'm sure there's plenty of neat stuff in here!"

He jogged to the front door and pushed on the revolving window, and was only slightly disappointed that it didn't move. Eager to get inside, he made his way to the alternate access door, which the window had already been broken out of, and he climbed through. Electrode followed in after him. "Wow!" His voice echoed through the dark room as he looked up toward the second floor. The entire front lobby was under the sunlight that peered in through the dome glass ceiling, which for the most part had remained untouched by vandalism or age. Making his way past a plaque of a Lucario in the front lobby, he wiped the dirt away from the words and read them aloud. "In this memorial; Lucario: The Pokemon who saved a region from destruction; est. November, 1959." He looked at Electrode. "Wow, Pokemon have been around since the fifties? Why didn't you ever say so?" He asked.

"Electrode." The Pokemon's head shook as he shrugged without shoulders; an impressive feat indeed.

As he wandered into the hallway that led from the front room, Caleb noticed the tunnel growing darker as he traveled along. The metal and glass surroundings of the upper floors being replaced with brick and mortar walls as he started down the main hall that descended further downward. "Boy, this is weird, isn't it Electrode?" Caleb asked absently as they made their way downward, encountering steps that would send them even deeper into the building. He paused and turned around. "Electrode?" The Pokeball-shaped pokemon had stopped at the top of the steps and stared precariously down into the darkness. The human wasn't sure if it was the darkness or the climb down the stairs that worried the monster more, he chuckled. "Okay, okay. You don't have to go if you don't want to." He said. "I can't exactly carry you down, but I don't have a ball to keep you in, so I'm trusting you to stay up here. Go check some things out, see if anything interests you, but remember we are near a ghostly region for Pokemon, so you'll have to be on the lookout for them. Okay?"

"E-Electrode..." the ball responded somewhat nervously before rolling off.

Caleb chuckled and watched him roll down the hall before turning back to the stairs and he started to climb down. The stairs were short paced and steeper than normal, but the metal banister that separated the up-stairs from the down-stairs gave him the support he needed to start working his way down. As he reached the bottom, he scrubbed some of the dirt off a directory sign and tried to make out what was on this level. "Ooh! The cafeteria!" He pointed out a large room not far from his location. "I guess that'll be the best place to start." His finger trailed along the map as he read off three other sections: "Filmhouse; Now Playing: Pokemon Origins" then down the corridor to "Gift Shop" and lastly, which seemed to be the furthest away at the outer edge of the building the "Artifacts Exhibit". "Huh." Caleb pointed out. "I guess that'll be a good place to head to."

He started to make his way down the path straight ahead that led to the theater, as he walked along the sounds of his footsteps echoing in the low lighting provided by the windows and gaps in the wall were the only source of light offered to him. He watched the dust dance through the air and settle on the surfaces around him as he walked. The hall was quiet otherwise, just empty shells of rooms that had long since been abandoned. To his left was the entrance to the cafeteria; surely there was no food in it, but somehow he could pick up the scent of something delicious cooking within. Unable to resist, Caleb made his way into the cafe and looked around. Dull three by three inch tile littered the floor the majority was white, though black tiles came across the floor in large X-patterns.

He approached what looked like an odd frycook standing at one of the stations near the back of the room. Obviously cooking, a billow of smoke came off the pan, filling the room with a delicious aroma which made his stomach groan. "Uhm... excuse me?" He asked. "I'm not sure what you're doing in a place like this, but that smells so wonderful I had to come and see what you were cooking." There was no response from the cook, which puzzled Caleb, he reached forward and tapped the cook's shoulder. "Hey! Excuse me?!" The shoulder seemed really small under the apron and it wasn't until he turned around that he could see why; a Ghastly had somehow taken the form of a human underneath its floating, cheerful head. As he turned around, the illusion of cooking vanished all together along with the smell of food.

"Ghaaaa-stlyyy..." The pokemon said with an eerie voice.

"Gck!" Caleb exclaimed as he took a step back. "A G-Ghastly? Here?"

"GENGAR!" A Gengar suddenly appeared between the human and the other ghost. He grabbed Caleb around the shoulders and dragged his long, slobbery tongue along Caleb's cheek, making him tremble in shock.

"GAHHHHH!" He screamed as he shook the Gengar off and bolted toward the cafeteria's exit. Skidding to the left as he left the room, he found himself leaping over a large boarding room table, set aside probably to allow people to sit with their lunches. He nearly tumbled into a trash can and scrambled over a couple of chairs before looking back to see that the ghosts weren't following him. Turning right, he found himself suddenly entering the dark room of the theater house and nearly falling down the steps that had long since stopped illuminating the path down the rows. "Woop! Whoa..." He nearly tumbled forward and caught himself and stood upright again. "That was close." He looked up, still breathing heavily as he noticed a strange movement on the projector screen above. First, it looked like a single distortion on the screen, like somebody moving underneath it, but only the head or misshapen figure dragged the shape across the screen. Then another, and another until five of them appeared, just as Caleb realized what was going on and took a step back, the screen shred open and several Gengar burst through it, cackling and chanting their names as they emerged. "Oh, not again!" He shrieked as he ducked under the flood of Gengar, who rocketed past him.

Caleb looked up as the group swarmed around and came at him again, he ran as the Gengar shot through the seats, through the floor, even through the stage as he ran past them and stormed out the exit door and into the adjoining hall. He continued to run as the ghost-types flooded into the corridor immediately behind him. He made his way back to the hall outside the theater and ran hard across the large empty floor. Looking down, he could see the reflections of several Gengar and Haunters chasing after him, as well as the Ghastly in the cook's uniform. Skidding to a stop, he could see he was making his way to the artifacts room, he looked back and could see more and more of them flooding from the cafeteria and the theater; he'd definitely riled up this snake's nest. They would literally scare him to death and not even think about it. He turned and ran full speed into the room before realizing there was literally no way to escape. He turned around and saw the legion of ghosts charging after him, and then noticed a button by the door; an image of a Gengar with a slash through it. Thinking quickly he hit the button, and a bright purple neon light surrounded the doorway.

"Gen-gck!" Gengar struck the light which then repelled him back. Several of the ghosts then followed, each of them bouncing uselessly away from the artifact room as they flooded the doorway, attempting to break in. Angrily, they crowded the doorway and tried to hit it in one heavy effort, but all helplessly flailed and bounced away with a final rejection from the barrier, which then appeared to deactivate as the ghosts quickly vacated and vanished.

"Whew!" Caleb panted as he got back to his feet from where he had fallen and examined the barrier. "How did this thing still work after all this time I wonder?" He asked himself then looked around.

The room was more of an exhibit hall than an actual room like he thought before. As he ventured into it, he noticed the contours of the cave-like protrusions made up the path he was meant to follow. As he stepped around behind a rocky wall, he saw his first exhibit and wiped his hand across the little title plaque in front of it. "Legendary Feather." He read, looking at the small white plume suspended in mid air in the glass before continuing to read. "Said to have fallen from the tail of the legendary Pokemon, Lugia, this feather makes anything it touches seem weightless." "Huh!" Caleb exclaimed as he lifted the small glass and placed it on the floor. Reaching toward it he pinched the feather between his fingers and immediately his feet felt like they were lightly touching the floor. "Whoa!" Pushing off the ground though, he realized that suddenly, he was moving like a shot into the air. He shrieked in surprise as he spiralled uncontrollably around the room. Up to the ceiling, down nearly hitting the ground, left and right. He only was able to stop when he came too low and bounced off another display case, crashing into another one, which caused him to lose his grip on the feather as he hit the ground. "Ooof!" He grunted as he got back up, brushing at his now tattered clothes. "Oh, perfect..." He complained, looking at the feather again, then the mess he'd caused. "Well... at least that was fun." He said, rubbing his head before noticing another artifact. "What's that?"

Walking over to another case, this one closed in a wood box, he lifted the lid and saw a shiny silver and purple staff within. "Oh, cool." He said as he read the plaque on the outside of the box. "'The Staff of Force; said to have been made by trapping the psychic powers of Mew, it causes the possessor's thoughts to create fields of energy...' huh, I wonder what that means." He said to himself as he picked it up. "It looks like an ordinary stick to m--AHHH!" He screamed as a loud burst of energy rippled through the room. "ACK! What in the?! He-hey!" He swung the staff around and watched waves of light shoot from the staff, shattering the walls as he tried to regain control of it. Each blast sounded like a shockwave to Caleb's ears, forcing him to drop the staff. He covered his ears and started to run toward the exit, leaving it to blast of its own accord.

*ZEEEWWWWWPAHHHHH-CRACK!* The walls suddenly exploded outward as a wave of energy knocked Caleb to the ground. Covering his head he screamed as the ceiling, then the walls began to collapse around him.

The rumbling stopped and Caleb opened his eyes again, standing up he grunted as he bumped his head, the collapsed walls around him had partially trapped him in the room. Pushing the stone and wall aside he looked around and observed the complete mess that the staff had caused. Debris was all over the floor and the door was almost completely blocked by rubble as he dusted himself off. "Electrode!?" He shouted through the door. "Electrode! Can you hear me? I need your hellllp!" He shouted louder, but after a few minutes thought that his voice must not be carrying far enough. "Need to get out of here." He said as he grabbed the collapsed wall and tried to pull it from the door, but it didn't budge. He moved back in the room and found the staff, but to his disappointment, a heavy chunk of debris had fallen on it and it lay splintered into several pieces. "Great." He said with an exasperated sigh before noticing something glowing under the nearby pile of rocks. Brushing it aside, he found a curious object:

It was about four inches high and looked like a miniature statue of Lucario. As he moved his hand toward it, he watched it start to glow blue which made him hesitate in picking it up. Quickly, he snatched it off the floor to examine it, watching as the blue light disappeared into his hand. "Huh. What a weird litt-GCK!" He felt a sudden pain ratcheting through his body as his head jerked back and he could feel it crackle like a xylophone.

His heart began to start pounding as he stood up, and he dropped the statue to the floor. "Haaaahhhh huuuunnnghhh..." He panted loudly as he pushed against his resting spot and could suddenly feel a swelling at his chest.

Caleb fell to his knees as he felt a great strain shock through his calf muscles and shoot up through his body. He looked down and could see his calf muscles now pushing against and straining at the pants he wore. His shoes stretched and exploded, exposing a pair of strange black furred feet. He felt a warm sensation slowly climb along his body and a rippling feeling of something tightening his shirt, his pants and his underwear. As he collapsed onto his hands and knees he realized he was breathing a lot harder than he should have, he curled his fingers, hearing a loud scratching along the ground under him. Looking down he could see that his nails had grown longer and more pointier and they were scratching the ground as he clutched at it. He put one of his hands on his stomach and could feel it growing, both in size and he could feel the muscles tensing up under him as he began to expand outward. The sounds of fabric shredding started with his pants, which tore open straight down the back seam. He tried to howl, but his lungs felt like they were out of air. His arms began to grow blue fur as his hands contorted and began to turn black like his feet. "AHHHH! AAAAHHH!" He managed to belt out as pain shot through his hands and a pair of silvery white spikes shot out the backs of his hands.

He shook in a shock of agony, which quickly melted away and felt much warmer than it did painful. He jutted his shoulders up and could see his shirt was now tearing along the arms. As he arched his back forward another warm sensation shot through his lower back and emanated through his legs as a tail began to emerge from the base of his spine. What was going on? Caleb's skin felt like it was on fire as it forced its increasing mass against his pants, the stitching tearing apart as they split open along both legs and straight down his ass. Twisting over onto his back he watched as his pants fell completely off leaving only his naked lower body flapping and rippling with newfound muscle.

"Oh god..." He panted loudly as he felt pleasure shooting along his cock, a length of reddish-pink flesh slowly crawled out of the sheath that had formed around his organs he inhaled and exhaled loudly as precum began to soak his belly and he began to flop madly as his shirt finally gave out, exposing a sheen pelt of offwhite across his whole torso, which was then making its way up toward his neck. "Wh-what's... ha-happening?!" He asked himself as he scratched at the ground again, his knees up in the air as he kicked the tattered remains of his pants away. "AHHHHH!" He screamed again, feeling a sharp pain in his chest, Caleb was briefly afraid he was having a heart attack of some kind. Then, out of the center of his eggshell colored chest another spike suddenly emerged. Caleb screamed in shock and thought for a second he'd been stabbed through the back, but realized that instantly, the pain had vanished as well. His arms were writhing, and his biceps were roughly the size of boulders. He could barely see down the length of his body because his pectorals had grown massively in size as well. A tuft of the off white fur flared out around the collar of his neck and he could feel the distinct washing of fur making its way higher. He tried to clench his jaw as the sensation reached his face, but felt the entire front of his face start pushing out. The popping of bone filled his ears, but didn't hurt in the slightest. A burning numbness briefly tipped his nose and every sound around him then drowned out as he could feel his ears start growing. He didn't know what was happening, but from what it felt like, he was becoming a Lucario himself! He rolled over and felt his neck pulsing with thickness his back and his body muscles were still throbbing as the strange change reached Caleb's eyes, forcing him to close them as the tingling sensation now tickled his sockets as the change reached the top of his head. Then he felt something protrude from the back of his head, then land dully against his twisting shoulders. The sensation stopped and Caleb collapsed onto his stomach, panting and breathing deeply. After a moment of realizing he was laying on the spike on his chest, he flopped over onto his side and opened his eyes.

Caleb was trembling and breathing sharply as he looked at the black paw laying in front of his face. Slowly, he realized that that was his hand and as he regained his strength, he found it was easier for him to push himself upright again.

Caleb caught his reflection in one of the broken displays; he was indeed a Lucario. He crept closer to it and pressed his cheeks with his fingers just to be sure it was him. His body had been substantially buffed out, gone was the gangly, slim muscleless human. Instead, a bold, powerful Pokemon was looking back at him. He tested out his musculature, flexing his arm so that his bicep almost outgrew his head, twisting a bit and tightening his stomach so that the ab muscles pushed out. In his best days he could never hope to look like this. And along with the new change came a new energy, he felt like he could move mountains if given the proper chance. He grabbed the debris that was lying in the path out of the room, and although it still was a bit of a strain, he was able to easily push the stone aside and let in the cool flow of air from the outside, which washed over his body.

It felt good; *really* good to be strong like this. He looked down at his cock, which had only partly begun to lose its arousal. Immediately it sprang to life again and slapped against his abdomen almost effortlessly. A feeling of extreme lust began to overwhelm him, and Caleb grasped his new cock. As he began to stroke it he noticed how rigid it felt, how wet the flesh felt from his precum coating the shaft. It was sensitive, a trail of precum began to form at the tip of his cock and started to drip down to the floor under him, making a softly dripping pool as he stroked. "Mmehh..." He muttered, feeling his cheeks grow warm, he ran his free hand across his thick, muscular chest and felt even more turned on by the soft velvety fur he felt. His cock pulsed under his fingers, he could feel the base of his shaft beginning to expand outward, two thick bulges began to form as he ran his fingers over the shaft. Caleb's tongue slipped from his elongated muzzle, dripping a little bit of saliva before he realized it and he instead dragged it along his fangs and returned it into his mouth.

Increasing the pace of his strokes, Caleb brought his hand back behind himself and began to tease his pucker with his new clawed fingers, feeling the base of his new tail as he did so. By now, his cock was producing so much that his stroking fingers and wrist were getting soaked by his precum. His heart was pounding, he wanted more, he wanted to cum so badly now that his balls began to ache.

Sitting down, Caleb began to play with his cock as he relaxed into position, spreading his legs enough to allow his other hand to push against his pucker, sending waves of pleasure through his body. As his grip tightened some, Caleb felt the knots on either side of his cock thicken further and start to throb on their own. The sensitive shaft pulsed each time his fingers passed over it and more milk-white precum began to pour from the spout, wetting his stomach and chest even more. He moaned, biting his lip lightly with his sharp fangs, he shifted his hands to his round fuzzy balls, enjoying the warm touch of his new fur-covered hands. It was a long trip from base to tip as he stroked, his toes were curling and popping lightly as he began to moan louder the pace increasing, the mess splattering more on his stomach. He felt like he could, he leaned forward and wrapped his muzzle around the end of his shaft and bucked forward, tasting the precum drooling into his maw as he closed his lips and continued to play with his balls and his ass. The flesh tasted sweet, the cum while bitter still had the musk of a wild Pokemon in it. He let it drool off his lips and drip down his chin as he folded himself as hard over as he could, only briefly touching his lips to the thick knot at the end of his shaft. He was close... very close...

"Hmmm! MMM!" He grunted as a thick shot of cum flooded the back of his throat, causing him to suddenly snap back out of his position before receiving another hard spray to his face. "Ahhh! Hahhhh!" The pleasure that washed over him was particularly intense as he coated himself with a few shots before pushing his cock forward and making large, messy puddles on the ground in front of him. The orgasm just didn't want to end he twisted and writhed in pleasure, hearing the sound of his cum hitting the floor, adding to the huge mess that it had been making. He thrust his fingers into his pucker to try and prolong it further as it splashed over his stomach and wildly onto the floor like a fire hose going off. As the orgasm finally began to settle, he fell back against the wall behind him, panting heavily as his shaft finally began to retreat back into its sheath, the flesh laying, only lightly spasming on his lap.

Silence filled the room as the Lucario slowly began to change back into a human. The fur didn't fall out, it seemed to become his skin seamlessly. He shuddered and twitched, missing his pink colored cock as it reverted back to his human one. He moaned softly as he began to wonder with all this mess how he would be able to get back to his town stark naked like this.

"Electrode?" The Pokemon's voice sounded just outside the door as he came rolling in pushing a small red pack that Caleb had forgotten he'd put down in the main lobby.

"Oh! Electrode!" Caleb smiled. "You remembered my backpack, good boy." He said as he grabbed it from him and extracted some clothes from its contents. "Mom always said I need to always be sure to bring an extra set of clothes with me." He said as he dressed himself in a newly cleaned shirt and jeans. "I can go barefoot until we get home." He said as he stood up and slung the bag over his shoulder. "I think I've had enough of exploring this place, shall we head out of here?"

"Electrode!" The pokemon said as he began to roll out of the room.

Looking to the floor, Caleb noticed the small statue from earlier, though this time it wasn't glowing. Hopeful, Caleb picked it up and looked at it. "Maybe we'll just keep you around." He said as he slid it in his pocket and smiled. "Just in case you start glowing again."
