Two men think of excuse after excuse to see a wiseman who lives in the hut above a quaint village, little do they realize that his information also comes with a price.

01. "Rewarding Knowledge"

"Come on, come on." Hans said as he grabbed Alex's wrist and pulled him along behind him as the two traversed up the hill. "Hurry before the sun sets and he closes up for the night!"

Alex grunted as he was dragged along behind the wolf, the scaled hunter's feet skidding out from under him occasionally as the pair of them traversed over a rocky, dirt covered road up beyond the village of Pon toward the old, rickety cabin at the top of the highest hill outside of its border. "Hans, do you think you could slow down a little? What's this all about?"

"You'll see. This guy is amazing!" He exclaimed as he pulled harder to try and get the lizard to move along faster. "Come! Come!"

The house at the top of the hill was a quaint place with a high roof on it, according to the villagers in the town below, the man who lived here lived on the knowledge of a great deal of things and was hailed as the wisest man in the continent. The house itself looked grey in color, with wooden trims along its windows and siding, the same color wood that appeared to have been used to make the door. A stone walkway led to the door from where the two men stood staring at the house, but Hans quickly yanked Alex off the path and both of them darted across the bright green lawn toward the side of the house where large windows loomed almost as high as the roof itself. "Get down!" Hans whispered urgently as he yanked Alex's arm to duck him into a pained crouch. "You gotta see this guy!" He giggled. "He really doesn't look the part, that's for sure."

"Why did you drag me all the way up here to tell me that?" Alex chimed in irritated manner. "I was in the middle of trying to solve a magical dilemma of my own!"

"Well that's why I brought you!" Hans whispered. "Maybe this guy can help you!"

Both of them peered up through the window. Inside the house, it was difficult to make out where the walls and the floor were, they were covered in books and scrolls. Scrolls that were rolled up were mostly found piled in boxes, laying across tables, some of them half unfurled. The remainder of them were strewn about, hanging from stairways drooping from the ceiling or as far up as the two of them could see. As they looked down toward the foot of the staircase, they could see the pile move and push aside as a young human in a blue robe emerged from the papers. He looked very gaunt in appearance, skinny arms a thin, jagged-jawed face, a pair of dark rimmed glasses that took almost half the size of his face, he was a very unassuming character. As he brushed his robe, the images of stars shimmered into view as he picked up one of the scrolls he had obviously been rooting for and set it down on the table in front of him, opening it to read its contents.

"Are you sure he'd be able to help with my problem?" Alex asked. "I mean, it seems pretty simple and I don't want to be a bother."

"Don't worry, he's always willing to help as long as he receives some form of payment for his aid."

Alex glared at the wolf. "Are you kidding? I have no money to spare..."

"I didn't say that the payment was in the form of money." Hans teased with a smirk. "Follow me." He said as he slinked past the lizard and stood, heading toward the door.

"No no no..." Alex hissed as he rushed to catch up with the wolf, catching him only as he rung the bell above the door. "I can't believe it! You're such a--" His voice was cut off by the sound of the handle latch clicking open and the door pushing outward.

"Oh, hello." The man said pushing his glasses up some as he observed the two men. His eyes trailed down to their feet and back up to their heads. "Can I help you?"

"Good day Alib." Hans bowed a bit and he smiled. "This is my friend Alex, and he's got an issue you might be able to aid with."

"Oh?" Alib's lips curled into a pleasant smile. "What is it I can do for you, Alex?"

"W-well..." Alex stammered a bit, shifting his weight from one foot to the other uneasily. "You see, I live down below in Pon. I'm a-actually the wizard's apprentice there."

"Ohhh yes I remember hearing tell of him bringing on a student. Excellent! So you've come to me with a magical problem then? Please, come on in, you can tell me about your issue over a cup of tea."

"Well, s-sir. That's kind of the issue, time is a big problem here and I'd really like to be able to solve it quickly. I'll gladly pay you for your services after though..."

The man's smile broadened a bit more. "Oh? Have you heard about my service costs?"

"Well, not so much. Hans just insisted I come and pay you a visit. I mean, I could definitely find something to pay you for this, couldn't I?"

"Oh, indeed." Alib said, collapsing his fingers together a few times. "So what would your issue be?" He asked.

Alex sighed a bit, embarrassed by the question but he spoke up after a few minutes. "Well, the master wizard is out of town for a week, but I knocked over one of his trinkets while cleaning, and now everything in the house is floating. I've tried everything I knew, but I have no idea how to fix a levitation spell that powerful."

"Huh." Alib thumbed his chin lightly, then corrected his specs again. "And you said this happened when you knocked over a trinket?"

"Y-yes." Alex admitted, now sounding ashamed for asking.

"Well, to me it sounds like it's not a spell, but a curse. Please come on in." Alib waved the two men in through the front door and began to wade through discarded and high piles of papers in search of something. "What did this trinket look like?" He asked. "Was it shaped like an animal?"

"Well, yes actually. It was a pewter steel elephant in a glass ball."

"Mmmhmm thought so. Let's see now..."

"So, it's a c-curse?"

"Yep. I'm afraid so." Alib said. "Elephants generally symbolize stability and heft, so it was cursed that if broken the surrounding area would feel the effects of weightlessness."

"But I'm fine." Alex said. "The weightlessness didn't affect me at all."

"And I'd be worried if it did. Nah, totems like that usually don't cause living objects to suffer its curses. Some... sort of rule written around here somewhere..." He pulled out a scroll and flipped it open, reading partway down the parchment he let out a distinctive "AHA!" sound, which made the others jump.

"What is it?" Hans asked. "Did you find something."

"Did I find--I said 'Aha' that's generally a "found something" type of response would you not agree?"

Hans blushed under his fur. "Ah, yes I suppose so." He admitted.

"Alright, the answer to your problem is simple: Take a pinch of bitter root and spread it over the site of the accident, then layer a small amount of honey where the object originally sat before it was knocked over. That should send the ball back to its spot in tact. Then speak the words "Antre Batar". Afterwards, all you've got to do is pick up the items that fall back in place."

"Don't you have a solution for that too?" Alex asked hopefully.

Alib shook his head with a laugh as he rolled up the scroll. "I'm afraid I'm not a miracle worker." He said. "Return to me when it's fixed and we can discuss payment." He looked at the wolf. "And Hans, you've had a bad habit of referring people to me, so I'd ask you accompany our friend here." He smiled. "And have a good evening boys." He reached out to shake Alex's hand, the lizard clasped the human's hands and felt a strangely warm buzzing sensation in his skull for just a second until their fingers parted.

Dusk was already occurring when the wolf and lizard left the cabin. "I don't know." Alex said as they made their way down the path toward Pon. "It just seems too easy is all."

"What's too easy about it?" Hans asked, slapping the lizard on the shoulder. "He just gave you a solution to an issue in two minutes, have a little faith. He hasn't let me down before."

"So, what sort of payment do you think it'll be?" Alex asked, looking back toward the cabin and feeling his heart beat faster. "I mean if this works anyway?"

"Heh heh. You know what they say, Alex: If you have to ask, you'll never know."

Returning to Alex's quarters, and opening the door only to witness a red colored hairbrush casually flipping its way through the air and out the door, the two looked at one another and entered the cabin. Just as they'd explained to Alib; everything was hovering off the floor, carpets, rugs, dishes and books. Trinkets, beds and pots and pans; basically everything not bolted down hovered through the air of the cabin as Alex took his pinch of bitter root and sprinkled it on the floor; a scratch from the dropping orb could easily be seen. As he did this, Hans placed a dot of honey on the spot the orb had been sitting. At once, both the root and the honey flashed a strange teal color. "Wow, that worked. Try it now." Hans suggested.

"Antre Batar." Alex said.

The sound of glass shattering in reverse sank into their ears as the orb that had been carrying the elephant returned to its place, shielding the trinket, and as if time were flowing backwards, the two watched as the object found its way leaping back onto the shelf from where it had fallen earlier, landing directly on the honey spot that Hans had put down for it. Both watched in amazement as suddenly everything returned to its original weight and showered back down to the floor. "See?" Hans said after a few moments of silence, looking smugly into Alex's eyes. "I told ya."

As the two of them finished cleaning, Alex ran a hand over his brow to wipe some of the sweat away as he carefully dusted the areas around the trinket. Looking up, he could see that the lights at the house on the hill were still illuminated. A strange drawing feeling began to nag at him to go to it, but casually he decided to ignore the feeling. Returning to his cleaning, his attention kept getting drawn to the cabin and a curiosity as to why Alib was still awake began to gnaw at him. Those green, confident eyes of his seemed to ache into his thoughts as he tried to put it out of his head. "Hey, Hans." He asked at last to Hans, who was lying upside down in a nearby chair, his eyes fixated on a book he'd found.

"Hnn?" He asked.

"So, what sort of payments does Alib take?"

"Well, sometimes it's the usual; like if it's an old lady or a child especially, he'll take gold coin, copper, gems, or even offer his services in trade for a good book."

"And if it's someone like us?"

"Heh heh... I can only think of one thing."

Alex took a moment to understand Hans' meaning, then laughed. "Oh come on now, he's not going to--I mean, I'm straight and happily engaged. He wouldn't try to force something like that."

"With a man like him, he wouldn't have to." Hans said. "Of course, I don't know for sure." He shrugged.

"Well I'm going to go up there and give him three gold coins for his services, they were greatly appreciated."

"Better not wear any britches when he answers the door." Hans teased as Alex made his way to the door. "He'll tear them off yoooou." He grinned in a sing-song voice.

"Oh shut up, you." Alex said as he stormed out and made his way up toward the house on the hill. The closer he got, the more nervous he was that Alib would actually try to take advantage of him, so much so that his hand was trembling as he reached the door and tried to knock.

The door opened and Alib, looking dreary-eyed and tired pulled the port open. "Oh, Mister Alex." He said with a yawn. "I assume my solution wo--"

"Look I don't know what sort of payment you're expecting but the payment is here in full so I hope you don't mind that I hurry on my way Master Alib because I must be returning soon because I have Hans waiting and he made up some silly thing for payments so I hope three coins is good for you if not please come by anytime and we can settle the matter okay?" He breathed in and out rapidly, having gotten that out in one sentence and not breaking for a moment's pause. Alib was simply staring at him in surprise.

"Oo-kay?" He said, reaching out and accepting the coins. "This is very generous, Alex. Thank you and please, you and Hans can come back any time if you need assistance with anything else."

It took a moment to process that Alex was not about to suddenly get 'mounted' by the human. "Huh?" He asked in half surprise. "Oh o-okay...." He said blushing.

Alib smiled kindly in return. "Okay, I am going to go get some rest. And thank you again, Mister Alex." He said before stepping back through his door and closing the door most of the way before uttering another "Good night." and closing the door.

"Really?" Hans gasped after Alex returned and told him what had happened. "I mean, I understand the whole 'discretion' thing, but nothing? Not even a little 'hand service'?"

Alex cringed and slapped the wolf on the arm. "Now that's enough of that! I will not hear anymore of your disgusting ideas, Hans!"

Hans smiled innocently. "Of course not. But perhaps the idea wasn't grand enough to earn it."

"Hans..." Alex said warningly.

"What? All I am saying is that we just need more reasons to visit Alib up in his cabin." The wolf said with a toothy grin. "Got anything else we can use as an excuse?"

"You are not going to get me to--"

"Come on. I could see you staring at that hut. Deep down, you were wanting to see what 'other' services he offered, didn't you?"

"I'm straight. There is no reason for me to seek him out for... "other" services." Alex rolled his eyes. "Now go home and I will see you tomorrow."

"I thought we'd agreed for me to spend the weekend with you." Hans said sounding almost hurt.

"Ugh, very well then!" Alex groaned. "But no more talk of these dirty deeds with the librarian, alright?" Alex said, blowing out the candle for the light of the main room.

"You're into librarians too?" Hans teased on the dark. The slug his arm received could be heard next door.

"I don't know how you talked me into this..." Alex sighed as he followed Hans up the hill toward the house.

A new day had dawned on the town of Pon, bright and sunnier than it had been the day before, and it was much warmer as both of them traveled up the hill toward Alib's house in sleeved shirts and shorts, hoping to catch the young knowledge expert in the morning hours. Hans knocked on the door as Alex finally caught up with him. "This is stupid! Stupid I say!" He whispered just as the door started opening. "Oh, good morning, good sir!" He said, immediately cutting off his train of thought.

"Oh, well. Good morning, boys." He said, yawning a bit. "And what brings you to my home this early in the day?"

"Oh! Yes... go ahead and tell him." Hans said, giving Alex a solid nudge in the shoulder. "

Glaring at Hans, Alex smiled nervously at Alib who was putting his glasses on. "Ah... ye-yes, my problem is dra-dragons."

"Dragons?" Alib repeated, staring at him. "What of them?"

"Well, I think... can't... can't say for sure, but I think my garden is being rooted up by a baby dragon."

"Oh? Must be a Whiptail. Not many other breeds of dragon can eat vegetables without vomiting a barrel of green slime and mucus."

"Eww." Hans exclaimed.

"Well, that is a pretty easy solution, sprinkle a bit of salt in the affected area. If it still returns, try to add a strong spice. Whiptails have a strong sense of smell and taste, if its young enough it should drive it back to its mother."

"And if it's older?"

"You'll probably end up with a pet." Alib said, tugging up the sleeves on his cloak. "Same as before, payment in coin is acceptable or if you have books or anything to trade I'm more than willing."

"Y'hear that?" Hans nudged Alex. "Willin--oof!" He received a firm jab in the chest with Alex's elbow.

For the next three nights, Alex and Hans paid Alib visits for his knowledge. They also noticed other travelers coming by and requesting his advice when the two of them weren't present, they would merrily be on their way within the hour. Scrolls or concoctions in hand to solve their issues before the two of them arrived. The next issue was requesting a map of a nearby cave where Alex claimed that a dog had run away into, then to hear the legend of a massive dragonman who had threatened Hans' livestock. On the third night, in the middle of trying to get a solution for a recurring headcold that Alex was plagued with, Alib sighed and finally gave them what they were hoping:

"Would you boys like to stay the night?" He asked as Alex was in the middle of biting down on a cookie. He froze and stared at the man, who leaned back in his seat, his robes falling and slightly outlining every inch of his thin frame. "I mean, that is what you two have been after with all of these requests is it not?"

"Whaaaaat?" Alex laughed and scoffed. "No that's not it at all it's completely--" He gasped. "Hans!"

The wolf had already scooted in beside Alib and was licking at the human's neck, submissively pawing at his robes as the tent in his shorts became quite apparent. Already a strange buzzing in Alex's head made him want to reach out and touch Alib, but he tried to put it out of his head, he tried to change his mindset, but then realized that it would be a very difficult task. "I'm s-so, so, sorry Alib I don't know what's gotten into him.

"Mmm... oh, don't worry." The human said, feeling the wolf aggressively grope at his crotch. "I often enjoy taking payments for my services this way." He said. "More mess, more fun." He chuckled. "Now come on over here and remove your pants, I'd like to see what you've got back there."

Alex felt compelled to obey, he stood almost immediately and slipped his thumbs into the waistband of his shorts. Dragging them down, he found a very impressive mass of flesh that bounced off of them and struck him in the stomach. He moved to go sit on the couch beside Alib, but the human instead had the lizard sit on his knees, placing his hands over the edge of the seat and leaning forward. He could feel Alib's fingers grasping at his ass, tugging the flesh apart as he leaned in and dragged his tongue eagerly up his crack. Alex gasped in surprise and clutched the couch, feeling his ass get wet from a few passes of the human's tongue before Alib paused. "So tense, there's nothing to fear from me, Alex." The human's voice had a very lulling softness to it, and seemed to inject the reptile's mind with ease. He felt the tongue again, this time he let out an uncontrollable moan, which made the human growl softly in delight. "Oh yes... that's better." He said as he continued to service the ass and hole almost exclusively. As Alib's tongue passed up Alex's crack, a finger pressed against where he licked and moved down, grazing Alex's pucker at the start of every journey and making him inhale deeply as he buried his muzzle into the side of the seat. Looking back, he could see Hans pulling apart Alib's robes near the base, revealing a fully erect cock that fell impressively into view. Letting out a lustful growl and grinning, Hans shifted to his knees and crouched over the thick erection and then dragged his tongue and muzzle down over it.

Alib's teeth grinded a bit against his lower lip feeling the wolf's hungering mouth on his cock. He hissed out a "yesss" as his hand reached up and began to stroke back along the wolf's scalp. Returning his tongue to Alex's pucker he was an expert in driving men wild with his tantalizing twirls and depth-defying length. As his tongue worked into Alex, Alib's hands slowly began to work their way up his back, pushing his shirt higher and higher until the lizard felt no choice but to let it simply fall over his head and down to the floor as well. Moaning, Alex leaned into the human's tongue as his own rabid erection began to poke and slide along the couch's fabric, whimpering, Alex's tongue trailed along the edges of his mouth as he leaned up and back into the human's skilled mouth. After his shirt had fallen off, Alib's hands shifted elsewhere, caressing the reptile's scaled, but well built torso. Tightly, he grabbed at it and pulled Alex backward some, prompting his tail to twine lightly around his ma--Alib's neck. He panted and moaned, feeling the lustful human tongue curl up and pull back. His hands returning to Alex's ass he continued to enjoy spreading the cheeks apart.

After several minutes, Alib pulled his tongue back and whispered to Hans. "Come now, Hans, let's see you really put that tongue to use." He teased as he too sat up on his knees, as he drove his tongue again into the warm used reptile ass, he brought his hands back, pressing the flesh apart of his own ass and giving Hans a clear view of the pink hole he had to offer. Greedily, Hans took it, grabbing Alib by both thighs and pulling him back. First his snout, then his tongue found the mark, making Alib moan as his ass was penetrated by the canine's tongue. "Mmmm! Mmm, yessss." He whispered, frequently pulling himself away from Alex's ass long enough to express his lust before returning to the work of tonguing the warmth in front of him.

Alex looked back and could see that Hans had already removed his shirt and was hanging completely out of his pants, as they dangled off his knee, threatening any moment to drop to the floor. His thick, hearty erection was pumping out precum to the point that it was dripping down the human's leg as he growled and selflessly dove deep into the man's ass. Somehow that only got him going even harder, and Alex moaned suddenly growing close to his climax.

As Alex began to shake in lust, he felt Alib slip his tongue away from the depths of his ass and his fingers press inward, replacing it. "Mmmm I think you're ready." He said with a grin before quickly wrapping his tongue around Alex's shaft and shifting himself and Hans back to seated positions. "Mmm to the floor, Hans we still need that sexy dog tongue of yours." He teased and Hans obediently slipped to the floor crouching before Alib as Alex loomed over him, his tail threatening to strike the wolf on the head as he lowered himself onto the human cock.

"Nnngh... oh god..." Alex panted as he felt the crown of Alib's cock press against his pucker and push inward. He shifted his hips and moaned as Alib elevated his legs some, exposing his ass again to Hans' waiting tongue. As soon as the wolf saw his opportunity, he oreturned to sinking his tongue into that warm inviting ass. This allowed his head to serve as a rest for the parts of the reptile's ass that slipped and sank over the edge of Alib's knees. "Mmmmph..." He panted and dragged his cock down along the man's bare chest. Each time rising again and sending a stream of precum down like a waterfall of spooge.

"Good... very good..." Alib moaned softly, shifting his hands slightly to spread his cheeks for Hans' waiting tongue, then returning them to help Alex up and then down again. He watched the lizard's chest puff out and sink back in as lust began to settle in. Alex leaned back and moaned as Alib bucked up into him, then came back down to feel the wet slippery tongue of the wolf under them. It was such an intense feeling that it was everything in him to keep from cumming immediately.

"AHH! AHHH!" Alex cried out suddenly, letting off a fountain of cum that soaked the human's chest and poured down in a torrent. Cum spit up into Alib's face, but he simply took a hand and dragged it down, gently feeding it to his pet as the reptile continued to lustily thrust up and down hard, cumming as he went.

"Mmm, yes.... yesssss..." Alib moaned as he leaned back a bit more, allowing the canine tongue to travel to its furthest lengths into his pucker. "Annnghhhh FUCK, YES!" He cried out suddenly feeling his cock explode into the reptile's ass. After a few strong spurts, he allowed it to slip free and fall onto Hans' muzzle, splattering cum everywhere onto his fur as he began to eagerly lap it up. "Oh yes... Hans help me fill him. Cum with me..." He moaned as he allowed the wolf to stand up. Pressing his cock against Alex's ass, Hans placed a hand on his shoulder and thrust inward with a very feral grunt, making Alex cry in shock as he entered with only the natural lube of Alib's cum to save him.

Deeper and more aggressively Hans went, growling as he rapidly approached his own climax. He'd been with Alib a few times before, but Alib had always cleared the wolf's memory of actually being there with the feeling of curiosity that led him back every time with a new friend. He grinned as he watched the wolf's expression twist and contort, that lustful growl entering his throat, then the long, enjoyable howl that followed. Hans eagerly grasped at Alex's chest, scratching and clawing at the scales as he fell over the edge of his climax and began to flood the reptile so heavily that it flooded over and began to pour copiously onto the floor under them. It took several minutes before they slowly began to return to normal. Eventually all three collapsed on top of each other in a sweaty, messy, cum-covered mass on Alib's couch.

"Th-that was... amazing." Alex said after several minutes of heavy breathing and silence.

"Don't think I've ever cum so hard." Hans added, still trembling as he held onto the both of them, inadvertently having tied himself to the reptile's hole.

"Me neither..." Alib admitted. "That's what I've been looking for, someone to give me that kind of a spark, and I think we've found it with the three of us..."

"Wish we could... just move in." Alex lamented.

Alib shook his head. "That would be amazing... but this has to be pretty... discreet."

"Maybe we could come watch then? Maybe join in when the times are right?" Hans suggested.

Alib grinned. "You already do, Hans... but I think this time I'll let you keep your memory. Many adventurers out there, many lonely adventurers would probably not object to a little extra company to their... erm... "payments."

"Well, could we at least stay the night?" Hans asked innocently. "I mean, I'm a mess and my clothes are all sweaty..."

Alib chuckled at that, petting the wolf. "I think... I'd like that." He said at last, giving Alex another kiss. "You two can stay here whenever you'd like."
