It was night and Kenji was asleep in his bed in the treehouse where Tarzan and Jane slept as well, Kenji still slept in a separate bed and a separate part of the treehouse. Kenji seemed to be feeling better knowing that he's part of the family that Tarzan is with as he was knowing they were there for him. He breathed in and out and he felt his body feeling no pain, no discomfort, no body temperature, nothing at all once again.

"Come into the light." said Kenji in Japanese.

He opened his eyes as they turned completely white again, his eyes were completely white all over and he let out a breath of air that sounded like a gasp of air like he came out of the water as he eventually saw something come together. It seemed like Kenji was having a dream once more as he saw himself in the same strange part of the jungle like before, it looked so peaceful like he remembered but he wondered why was he there again.

"Hello?" said Kenji now speaking English.

He saw nothing and heard nothing, he looked around and it didn't take long for him to turn and see a familiar male gorilla. The large male gorilla was Kerchak, he placed a big paw on Kenji's left shoulder.

"Kerchak, how did this happen again?" asked Kenji curiously.

"I can tell your feeling troubled and however your doing this, it could be part of your power or it could be something else." answered Kerchak.

Kenji agreed that either way, Kerchak was right. The large male gorilla rubbed Kenji's left shoulder like he was massaging it which made the young human feel comfort.

"I can tell your feeling troubled." said Kerchak.

"So you know?" said Kenji as he knew that Kerchak was aware the events in Kenji's life when he's been living in the jungle.

"Being bullied and teased and abused is something no living creature should ever have to go through, even I know I've been guilty of things before when I was alive." explained Kerchak as he was expressing his sympathies. "But even though me and Tarzan have not seen eye to eye at times, I reconciled with him before I died and made peace with him and everything I was guilty of."

Kenji had to agree that the gorilla's words were correct, knowing that in doing so, the large male gorilla was accepted into this strange world of paradise that he's in. Kerchak knew that there were other things that Kenji was troubled about.

"Kenji, I sense that there's other things on your mind." said Kerchak as he placed his paw on Kenji's heart area.

Kenji looked him right in the eye, wondering what else did Kerchak know that was on the young human's mind.

"I see the spirits of the deceased know everything that's on the mind of the living." said Kenji as he was starting to notice.

"It's part of being deceased, when the deceased speaks to the living, there's nothing hidden in the living's head that we can't see." said Kerchak.

Kenji seemed to be amazed by this but wondered if this was a good thing since there's been some personal things in his head that is kept only in his mind.

"There seems to be something going on between you and Terk." said Kerchak.

Kenji blushed, he looked down at his feet and felt his heart race a bit. How Kerchak could tell this was correct was starting to have Kenji wonder if he knew more than just that.

"What gave you that idea?" said Kenji nervously.

"It may not be seen from your facial expressions but it's what your heart says that tells you how you feel about those you take a love interest in." said Kerchak as he knew the truth.

Kenji was feeling like he wasn't embarrassed by this as Kerchak seemed to show he understands.

"Do you think Terk likes me?" asked Kenji curiously.

"The only way you can know is to find out for yourself, you can always ask something for advice about what you should do in the matter of this subject if it confuses you or has you questioning what you should do." said Kerchak as he explained.

Kenji looked up at Kerchak and wasn't blushing, he was feeling his heart beat at a normal pace now. Kerchak seems to be hinting at what he should do and Kenji could tell that he was telling him to take a chance.

"I understand, although, Terk had once implied that she was in love once and that even though they were not ready for a serious relationship, they agreed that if they do start a serious relationship, than they can continue but if they find someone else, than they will accept it." said Kenji as he remembered a chat he had with Terk before.

"That may be, but you should still take a chance if Terk likes you back, when it comes to love, it's all about taking a chance and taking risks, sometimes we have a second chance at it and when they have a second chance at love, they go for it." explained Kerchak.

Kenji seemed to understand Kerchak's words of advice, he knew he could take a chance and take a risk but he knew there's a way of doing it when you try.

"I can try but I know it's not going to be easy, me and Terk had our moments but we have been interrupted everytime, so I just need to be alone with her." said Kenji as he knew what to do.

Kerchak pulled Kenji in for a hug as he wrapped his big arms around him and embraced him. Kenji hugged him back. As they hugged, everything started to fade to black once again and Kenji felt something lightly moving his shoulder and he opened his eyes, he was still in the treehouse but he was laying on the floor again. He saw Tarzan, Jane and Kala. Jane was helping him sit up.

"Is it morning already? I feel like I slept on a cloud." said Kenji as he yawned.

As Kenji saw himself on the floor again, he saw it was morning as the sun was out.

"Do you happen to end up on the floor after a nights sleep?" asked Jane curiously.

"I don't know, this has never happened before. I could've fallen out of bed but I don't remember moving around in bed." said Kenji as he recalled.

Kenji got up on his feet and saw Kala was holding onto her stomach as if feeling discomfort, he was seeing she made a bit of groan from a growling sound in her stomach.

"Is Kala alright?" asked Kenji curiously.

"Kala had something to eat and it didn't agree with her, it made her puke." said Tarzan as he explained.

"Maybe I could do something about it." said Kenji as an idea cam to his mind.

Kenji walked over to Kala and held out his hand for her to take a hold of as if to show her she can trust him.

"I'm sure I just need to rest it off." said Kala as her stomach made another loud growl, making her groan.

"Take my hand, Kala." said Kenji.

Kala was a bit nervous about what Kenji was about to do but she knew that he can help her stomach illness stop, she took Kenji's hand in one paw and Kenji placed his free hand on her stomach. At first, nothing happened, but suddenly his hands began to glow a bright gold light and he used his hand to rub Kala's stomach.

"What is Kenji doing?" asked Jane.

"I don't know but it seems to be helping." said Tarzan.

Kala felt her stomach pains and her stomach illness disappearing and was replaced by soothing relief as if she was healing instantly from her stomach illness. The growling in her stomach stopped and eventually, the glowing gold light on Kenji's hands faded away. Kenji removed his hands from Kala's body, her stomach felt like it was cured of it's illness.

"The sickness, it's stopped, it's like I've been healed of it completely." said Kala with a grin.

Kala wrapped her arms around Kenji and hugged him and Kenji hugged her back, both of them were hugging each other for a bit before releasing their arms from each other. Tarzan and Jane were curious about what they saw.

"Was what you did part of your mutation?" asked Tarzan curiously.

"Not all of my power was caused by a mutation." said Kenji.

They seemed to be a bit surprised to hear this, knowing that not all of his strange powers was caused by a mutation which could leave anyone curious to know more.

"So the power that wasn't caused by a mutation, how did you end up with the power that wasn't a mutation?" asked Jane curiously.

Kenji was silent for a minute as if clueless for what to tell them, no one ever asked him this and if they did, he wouldn't know what to tell them.

"I don't know." Kenji finally told them.

Kenji stretched his back and felt good to stretch it in the morning.

"Anyone know a good tree I can, well, you know, I got to go to the bathroom." said Kenji blushing.

"I can lead him a tree this time." said Tarzan as he volunteered.

Tarzan lead Kenji outside and took him to find a good tree for him to go and do his business. They seemed to be wondering about Kenji's power a bit more lately, if some of his powers were not caused by a mutation, than how did he possess the powers he's got that wasn't from a mutation? But they seem to think it's nothing to worry about since Kenji is in control of his power, although they still felt a bit curious sometimes. Kala felt so much better to have been healed from her stomach illness, she never felt better like this in years. But there was something on Kenji's mind at the moment, does he have feelings for Terk, does Terk have feelings for Kenji?
