Chapter 31: These Lips Are Mine

Yuri was overjoyed to spend the past few days with Enya, touching Enya's tan mane and loving the thick feel of its curls, timidly dragging her paw down that white stripe on Enya's belly. And Enya loved nothing more than to hold Yuri close when no one was looking, hold her close, and kiss her ears, lick her cheek, and bite her neck. They would giggle down in the grass of the village pastures as Aliona and Zalia called for them. Sometimes they were taken over to Kilyan's to play, and then Roan and Zane would be there, ready to chase them and pull their tails. Yuri remembered big Zane tackling her to the floor. He didn't get up right away but stayed on top of her on purpose, letting his little cock graze her buttocks, and Yuri had squirmed as he breathed in her ear that she was so pretty and that she should stop looking at Roan because Roan was a real sissy and couldn't pin her down the way he could. And then he had bitten her neck! Yuri had wailed. He didn't bite her hard enough to her hurt her, but she felt his tongue touching her fur. He was licking her! Zane sighed and licked Yuri very hard until she giggled, and it was only when she laughed and squealed his name that he let her up.

But Yuri could not help looking at Roan. And not because she was liked looking at him (though he was cute with those white flecks and those big green eyes) but because Roan was always looking at her. Every time Yuri looked up, her heart would leap to find Roan gazing at her lost in thought, a little smile on his lips. Realizing that Yuri was looking back at him, Roan would blush and look at the floor. And Yuri didn't understand why. Maybe it was because she was pretty. Enya had told her as much. And she thought Enya was pretty too. She had never seen a wolf with such light tan fur. Back in the moon village, everyone was dark gray or bluish-silver and nothing else.

Yes, it had been wonderful the past few days. Little Yuri did not want to leave the summer village, though she was starting to miss Julyan and Arorta, Nisma, and Nasma, those three old females who were always so loving and affectionate with her. She missed being in Arorta's arms, missed the smell of her, and she missed Julyan brushing her mane and calling her his little angel. She wished that she could take Enya and her cousins back home with her. She knew suddenly that it was going to be very lonely, her existence in the sun village, because Zaldon and Julyan didn't seem to have any friends in the sun village who also had pups.

Sitting there cuddling her doll, Yuri let these sad thoughts run through her head. She was at Enya's hut again, sitting behind a chair where no one could see her. And she could hear Enya's parents talking quietly beside the fire. Yuri had been sitting behind the chair in misery for some time, but her heart leapt happily when Enya peered around the side of the chair at her.

Enya crawled toward Yuri, her own little doll in her paw, and the two of them sat facing each other, gazing sadly into each other's eyes.

"Dad says Zaldon should be here soon," Enya whispered sadly. "I don't want you to go."

"I don't wanna go," Yuri answered, peering at Enya over her doll's head.

"But you'll come back to visit, I think," said Enya. "And you can see me and Roan and Zane." She smiled. "What do you think of Roan?"

"He's nice," Yuri answered, shrugging. "He's always staring at me."

Enya laughed softly. "It's because you're so pretty! This blue, silvery fur . . ." Enya's paw pushed Yuri's mane back from her shoulder, the back of her fingers caressing Yuri's cheek. "And what do you think of Zane?"

"He's big and rough," Yuri answered thoughtfully, "and he likes to lick me."

"Do you like him?"

"Well, he's nice too. I like playing with him."

"And what do you think of me?" Enya asked with large, mischievous blue eyes.

Yuri leaned forward without hesitating and kissed Enya on the lips in reply. She pulled back, but Enya leaned forward and kissed her, pulling her face to hers. Hiding behind the chair, they worked their little lips hungrily against each other, and Yuri was shocked when Enya thrust her tongue inside her mouth. But it felt wonderful and she gave her tongue back, loving that commanding tan paw as it pulled her closer by the neck. Their lips broke apart and they smiled at each other, breathless and giggly.

"Have Roan and Zane kissed you this way?"

Yuri shook her head vigorously and blushed.

"Good. Don't let them. These lips? They belong to me," Enya whispered, hooking a finger in Yuri's mouth.

Yuri sucked playfully on Enya's finger and they giggled.

"But, Enya," Yuri whispered happily, "I don't want anyone else to kiss me!"

"Not even Roan?"

"Nope."

"Good. Roan won't try anyway, he's too shy. But Zane will. Don't let him. And if I see him trying, I'll tug his ears for it."

"Promise?"

"I promise!" Enya said and kissed Yuri's cheek.

Yuri blushed again, so happy that Enya was going to protect her. She liked Roan and Zane certainly, but she only wanted Enya's sweet, soft little lips to touch her, only Enya's arms to hold her. Enya held her now, taking Yuri to her chest and sighing sadly. Yuri rested her head against Enya, burying her face in Enya's neck, and she wished they never had to part.

"Ah, look at that!" said a voice, and Yuri felt her cheeks burning hot when she saw Enya's parents peering at them around the back of the chair. The sight of Enya hugging Yuri must've seemed so cute to them. But Yuri was miserable when she saw Enya's parents appear. She didn't want Enya to let her go. She loved Enya's smell, loved Enya's touch, and she was going to miss those big blue eyes so much! She wanted to cling to Enya, to protest when Enya's father gathered her into his arms, but she bit her lip instead and let Zalia lift her onto her hip.

Yuri's heart sank even more when she saw Zaldon standing in the doorway. He smiled at her, and she was suddenly very happy to see him, even if they had to leave. She went happily into Zaldon's big arms when Zalia passed her to him. Zaldon always smelled so good and he was always so warm and big. Yuri snuggled in his arms and heard him laugh when she kissed his cheek. She wanted to thank him for bringing her here, for letting her have so much fun, and she whispered as much in her language.

"Ah, so my little Yuri had a nice time? That is good to hear!" Zaldon said to her in the moon tongue, and then to Keeno and Zalia, "So Yuri's made a friend, I see."

Keeno grinned, hefting Enya on his hip. "Yup. It was so cute -- they were hugging behind the chair over there. I don't think they want to part."

"Aw, but we will come back," Zaldon said and then to Yuri in the moon tongue, "We will visit lots, I promise you!"

Yuri grinned broadly, and looking over at Enya in her father's arms, she saw that Enya was grinning too. The adults laughed at this.

"That's great," Zalia said, as if a load had been taken off her mind. "I -- I was so worried about Dad --"

Zaldon closed a comforting paw on Zalia's shoulder. "He won't get sick again, Zalia, I promise. And if he does, I'll be here in a heartbeat."

Yuri saw Zaldon and Zalia exchange smiles, then Zaldon clapped Keeno fondly on the shoulder and turned for the door with Yuri in his arm.

"But wait," Keeno said, coming forward. "Let's let the little ones kiss goodbye!"

Zaldon grinned at this, "Of course."

Zaldon and Keeno stood close, bringing the pups on their hips face to face. Yuri and Enya just grinned at each other: they had kissed each other any number of times before now. They leaned from their parents' arms and kissed each other demurely on the lips, just a happy little peck. The adults laughed at this. Then Zaldon said his goodbyes again, and as he was carrying Yuri away, she peered over his shoulder and saw Enya smiling at her, those blue eyes glittery and bold. Enya gave her lips a slow lick that no one saw, and Yuri shivered and blushed. She couldn't wait to taste those lips again.
