Night had fallen upon Adipose City; street lights, LED billboards, and neon signs feebly pushing away the inky blackness. Advertisements for junk food and take-out restaurants shone like faded beacons in the dark, the night winning the symbolic battle with the light in Adipose's Mackerel Bay. The harbor district always was a mess, a maze of warehouses and docks that made it easy to hide any number of things. Corporate labs, street gang lairs, freelancer boltholes, even the PhysEd Consortium had something out here...

Two guards lazily patrolled the loading dock, Consortium weapon specialists that looked like they barely graduated from the corporation's agent training program. The two Big Guns casually gave their assigned area a precursory glance before sneaking off to the side to kill time before their shift ended.

"Man, this shift is so boring..." The first one, a human male, grumbled.

"Yeah, nothing ever happens and there's only some many times you can beat up the fat fuckers before it gets old. I'm thinking of transferring." His partner, a buff female raccoon replied, idly tapping her fingers against her rifle.

"That's a good idea, maybe there's an opening in our Canadian base? There was a lot happening up north last I heard."

"Nah, just transfer to the base down in the Trench if you want to see some action. They're the ones that brought in that Burger Bum bitch we got down in the bike room. You saw her right?" The raccoon asked.

"Jesus how could I miss her? Now I know why they called her Bazooka Betty." The human snickered.

The two continued to idly chatter on, oblivious to the intruder watching them. Perched above a shipping container directly behind them was a mink dressed in a black Expandex catsuit and TankX elastic body armor. Regarding the two PEC goons with contempt masked by an opaque visor, the Burger World infiltrator carefully crawled away before slowly climbing up the side of the building. The two guards continued to talk, unaware that a black-clad mink was scaling the wall behind them. By the time either of them turned their heads to look, giving the area another check to make sure their supervisor wasn't watching them goof off, the trespasser was already up on the roof....

Samantha Fisherman shook her helmeted head as she slowly waddled away from the edge of the roof, PEC could be so stupid. Well most of the time they were stupid, but sometimes they took stupid to a whole other level. At nearly five hundred pounds with most of it concentrated below her waist, she wasn't hard to miss. Well, in the daylight around competent people with working eyes at least. In the dark, with her thunderous thighs and huge butt clad in black, it was a different game. One she had gotten quite good at, she contemplated with a smile as she approached a grate to the building's ventilation system. The Omni-Driver wasn't a signature gadget of the Grabboid trade but Sam found the multi-functional fastener useful for opening grates and jimmying locks. A few minutes loosening some screws and she had an access point...

"I'm in Penelope, can you hear me?" She whispered into her helmet microphone while slowly squeezing and slithering her way through the narrow airducts, her broad hips squished by the unyielding metal.

"Loud and clear Sammy, may I ask how you got in?"

"An air vent on the roof, looks like it goes all the way down to the basement level."

"Oh goodie, I'll get some cooking oil from Spoons then. Damn it Samantha, one of these days you're going to have to tell us how you manage to fit your fat ass in all those tight spaces. Vents, barrels... if I didn't know better I'd swear you enjoyed it." The equine hacker replied sarcastically over the communicator.

Samantha smiled, grateful the channel was audio-only, but remained focused on the task at hand. "Quit the jokes Penny, you know a magician never reveals her secrets. Just tell me where they have Betty so I can be home in time for dinner." The mink asked, fighting to ignore the small flame of jealous that flared up as she thought about the exceptionally chesty feline. No one deserved what PEC tended to dish out...

From her perspective inside the ventilation system, the interior of the warehouse didn't appear to be that much different then the exterior. Pallets of freight were hauled in and out of the facility by heavy forklifts, the Consortium was either determined to maintain the façade that this was a legitimate warehouse or so strapped for facility space that they were doubling up. Shimmying along, the vents gently rattling in protest of her girth, Fisherman's infiltration took her down to the basement warren of maintenance corridors and workshops... and several rooms that were definitely not on the original floor plan; a gymnasium for the lunkheads to spend their off-hours, a "fat farm" room full of exercise bikes to generator power from a troop of sweltering fatties the Consortium kidnapped from the city, barracks for the guards, and the prison...

Slipping out of the ducts, slowly squeezing her hips through an opened grill, she crawled out onto the basement floor and rose to her feet. Black combat boots softly tapped against the concrete floor as Samantha explored the bottom level. Much of the basement was cast in darkness to conserve power, the guards sticking to the lit areas as most of their prisoners were put to bed for the night. Occasionally the lights flickered and the walls echoed with the screams of someone from the prison, causing the mink's stomach to quietly do flip-flops as she continued her searching. Right now she needed to focus on finding her coworker...

Betty was easy enough to spot; her captors had the tabby cat still in the fat farm, pedaling away on an exercise bike. Like the rest of the facility the lights were mostly out, a single floodlight cast a circular pool of light upon the Burger World commando and a handful of other prisoners. Samantha hovered in the shadows, out of the way of the lapine Sports Medic and the cheetah taskmistress making their rounds, and watched her coworker from behind the veil of darkness.

Sweat dripped down the feline's face as she continued pedaling, her portly hyper-hourglass figure jiggling as she kept up. Thick, meaty hips wobbled in time with her exertions but it was above the waist that occupied the mink's attention. Breasts at least twice the size of the feline's head bounced like pair of basketballs inside a sweat-soaked tank top, making Samantha gently rub her own bosom in envy as she subconsciously compared to the feline's legendary bust to her own modest chest. Betty continued on oblivious to this nearby voyeurism, smiling as she continued to infuriate the spotted overseer.

Samantha blinked and mentally kicked herself for forgetting where she was. It was a testament to how dark it was that she was able to get away with her momentary lapse despite the patrolling handlers. The rabbit sports physician continued to observe the remaining prisoners, occasionally taking notes on a tablet computer, while the cheetah began to bend a riding crop at an angle that couldn't possibly be good for the plastic. Outside of Betty, there were three others prisoners sweating it out on the bikes; each of them silently praying to whatever gods were listening that their torment would be over soon. But Betty, Betty was taking it in stride, putting out a pretty good pace for someone her size. And the fitness freak behind her was quite clearly not happy to have her sadism denied. Gritting her teeth in silent frustration, the concealed infiltrator could see that she really wanted to crack her crop against Betty's burger buns but BeeBee's whole attitude was sending the other feline through a number of mental gymnastics she wasn't used to.

The mink slowly reached for her shock baton as she quickly surveyed the room one last time. Only two targets, both of them focused on the four prisoners in front of them, and no one had joined in. All she had to do was grab Betty and carefully sneak back out... or just shoot their way to freedom if that didn't work. The other prisoners would have to wait until they could come back with a full division.

The baton was out in her hand and she quietly sucked in her breath. If a division didn't come within the next few seconds she would have to take her chances...

"That's enough Claudia, I'm taking these prisoners out for their examination and a shower. You can have them back in the morning." The rabbit interrupted suddenly, her voice carrying a pronounced accent.

"Like hell you are Disella, these little piggies haven't sweated enough yet."

"And they won't if you keep pushing them till they drop dead from exertion dumbass. Don't make me call security in again; you're already in trouble for delaying my examination with the rest of them. Between your inability to properly pace the fat farm and Dr. Burns constantly burning through our battery reserves with his electroshock 'therapies,' I'm surprised we haven't had a big intrusion yet." The Icelandic rabbit countered coldly as two orderlies appeared for her instructions.

Claudia growled and glared at her coworker before looking over the others in contemplation. "Fine... take the three weaklings but the tubby tabby's mine for a few more minutes." She gestured dismissively

The rabbit took a moment to check her notes, was it Samantha's imagination or were Disella's ear's twitching like they heard the mink hiding in the shadows? "Very well, you have ten minutes with Betty." She replied, engaging the brakes on the other prisoner's bikes and undoing their restraints before herding them out of the room with the orderlies at her side, shock batons held threateningly. The mink squatted down away from the door and waited until it was just Betty, Claudia... and Samantha.

The cheetah growled as she cracked the crop across Bazooka Betty's backside. "You think you're funny burger butt?" She snarled and readied her weapon for another strike.

The Burger World commando kept peddling and smiling. "No, I don't think I'm funny at all. You on the other hand... how does one become a feline animan and not get decent low-light vision?"

"What the hell is-ACK!" The cheetah choked as she was suddenly dragged into the shadows by a pair of blubbery, black-clad arms.

Betty slowed her pace to a more leisurely pedal, continuing to answer as if Claudia was never interrupted. "Because if you did, you would have seen Samantha Fisherman sulking around and eyeing you up like a double-bacon cheeseburger." She replied to the sounds of metal and hard plastic hitting flesh and muffled threats. Holding her free hand up above her head without looking back, she caught the tossed keys that her coworker liberated from the Consortium jailer.

Undoing her restraints and stepping off the bike, the domestic feline brushed her long black hair back and looked to see what became of the struggle. Over at the edge of the light, Samantha sat on the floor and twirled her Bullyboy shock baton in her hand. Betty imagined the helmeted infiltrator was pretty pleased with herself. A spotted feline hand feebly reached for help as Claudia struggled to pull herself out from underneath the mink, head and torso buried beneath two awe-inspiring mounds of ass fat and her legs kicking futilely from out beneath her opponent's catsuit-clad crotch.

"Having fun?" Betty asked with a wry smile, glad to see a friendly face even if it was Samantha's. The feline never understood why the other female was so grumpy around her...

"I'm only getting started." The mustelid replied with an unseen smirk in her voice as she tossed Betty the jailer's sidearm, her voice carrying a tone the tabby cat knew well. Tapping the deactivated baton against her shoulder, she spent a moment contemplating what to do before standing up. Using the club to help herself back up, she planted the conductive head squarely on her opponent's shoulder and sent a paralyzing jolt through the lithe feline's body. "That should hold her for about an hour."

"Okay, what's the plan?"

"The plan is we sneak our way back upstairs and out of the building to where Jenny has a truck waiting for us." Samantha answered as she hid Claudia in the shadows.

"That's... not a plan, that's a goal."

The mink shrugged as she stuck a fresh battery into her shock baton. "Either sulk around in the dark and carefully pick off guards until our way is clear, shoot our way out, or see if you can squeeze those zeppelins of yours back up the ducts I came in."

Betty cast a glance at one of the ducts Samantha crawled in then down at her chest. "Sulking around in the dark until we have to shoot our way out sounds like a plan. What about the others?"

"We have to leave them Bee, maybe later we can come back with a full tac-squad but for now my job is to get us out of here." Sam replied over her shoulder as she peered out the door and waved her squad mate out after her. Slipping back into the darkened side corridors, the two portly commandos crept through crude cement hallways. Guards dutifully patrolled the hallways, bored muscle-bound cyber-warriors simply going through the motions. Few suspected that there was an intruder in their midst until their face silently connected with Samantha's shock baton. Most didn't even realize she was there, squeezing her charge and herself into the shadows, and staying out of sight until they passed on by. The mink's mind never left the submachine gun resting against her hip, expecting an unconscious body to be found or an alarm pager to go unanswered for too long. It had to be at least ten minutes already, how was it that Claudia's unconscious body wasn't found yet? Surely Disella had to have gone back and found the beaten cheetah in the bike room? No sense dwelling on it though, she had to keep moving....

Referencing the electronic map she was given of the facility without its extensions, the mink traced out a promising route with her finger. Turn left, through a boiler room that was shut down for the night, and they would be right in front of a stairwell that lead up to the container yard right in front of the warehouse.

Listening for the sound of pursuit the whole way, the portly Grabboid tapped her finger against the trigger guard of her Minuteman submachine gun. Shaking her head when she continued to hear nothing out of the ordinary, the mink quietly opened the stairwell door and grimaced when she saw just how narrow their escape route had become. The stairs upward were barely big enough for an average-sized pre-Peak person to navigate... and that was before the majority of the world nearly doubled and tripled in size thanks to the abundance of fattening foods. Leave it to the Consortium to pick an old building with construction from before everyone bulked up...

"Well Betty, hope you don't mind a tight squeeze." Fisherman quipped dryly with a roll of her eyes.

Turning sideways and slowly progressing up the stairs, the two arrived at the upper landing after a long eternity. Raising her gun and slowly opening the door, Samantha led the way outside. The yard was about as empty as it was when she entered the compound, the warehouse hitting a relative lull in activity. The mink discreetly climbed up onto the top of the nearest container and got down on her stomach. The hole she cut in the fence was still there, still undiscovered and the only two sentries she could see were... The mammoth sneak shook her head as she looked around.

"Alright Betty, there's a hole in the western fence about fifteen yards away from here. Hop through that, Moore's less than a block away on the other side. I'll be right behind you."

The feline nodded as an alarm began to emit a high, shrill shriek from deep within the facility. Grimacing she headed off in the indicated direction. Samantha hopped off her perch and followed behind her, firing off a short burst at a threatening cluster of charging PEC sentries. Extracting a comrade out of enemy territory, just another day at the office...

Later...

Back at the company apartment complex, Samantha Fisherman slid the keycard to unlock her apartment and slowly waddled inside. The debriefing was over; Betty was back in her own place and taking a badly needed shower, and the mink finally had an answer to something that was bothering her for the entire mission. Leave it to Lt. Ford to forget about minor details... like that Betty was captured trying to extract a Consortium agent that wanted to defect to Burger World, a rabbit Sports Medic named Dr. Disella Frosthearth... the same Dr. Disella the Grabboid almost clobbered to rescue Bazooka Betty.

Rolling her eyes and shaking her head once more, the brown-furred mustelid butt-bumped the door shut and set down the hot casserole dish Spoons gave her. Peeling back the foil, Fisherman smiled and inhaled the aroma wafting into her nostrils. Macaroni and cheese made with real cheese instead of the artificial garbage sold in most convenience stores. Bless that silly little canine; McGrubb always knew how to celebrate a successful mission....
