To get the full story, read "Our Love So Pure, Parts 1 & 2". I love this series, it's just too cute having them get married! My website sucks, but so does my programming skill. If you want it to look better, you'll have to suggest how. Anyways. . .You know all the rules. No altercations, copyright infrigments, blah blah. Just be nice okies?

Several hours had passed and my ear was starting to get sore from the sheer number of phone calls we were making. Talus was busy in the next room, calling all the wedding planners, priests, DJs and caterers. I was assigned family and friends, both mine and Talus'. I had already delegated family duties to my parents and called every one of my own friends. I started with Talus' list, dialing his parent's number which I already knew by heart.

"Yeah?" Came a very masculine voice over the reciever. I smiled as I thought about the broad shouldered male on the other side, my mate's very handsome father.

"Hi Mr. Miller, this is Adras." I greeted, purposely calling Talus' father by his last name.

"Adras, quit teasing me and call me by my first name. Geez."

I laughed. "All right Seraph. Are you sitting down?"

"Are you kidding?" Seraph roared in laughter. "I am paralyzed from the waist down you know! This chair will conform to my seat one of these days."

I smiled at his never-serious spirit. He was always joking about everything, from his disablity to why toast always lands buttter-side down. "You might want to get your lovely lifemate on the other line for this."

"Uh-huh." Seraph grunted, shouting for his lifemate. "Crystal! Honey! Adras wants to say something, listen in on another line please?"

A "sure sweetheart" came from somewhere in their house, then a click as another line was picked up.

"Hi Adras. How are you?" Crystal's velvety voice drifted into my ear.

"Yeah, is Talus happy?" Seraph asked in a joking mood. "Cause if he isn't. . ."

"Yes Serapah! He told me he loved me not more than twenty minutes ago." I smiled at their trust in me to take care of Talus.

"We know you love each other and we never worry about that. We mostly worry when he'll finally ask to marry you whether he'll find the nerve." Crystal said, both chuckling. I took a deep breath.

"Well, worry no longer. He proposed." I said quickly, dying to hear their reactions. Maybe I shouldn't have said it the way I did though, because I heard a faint breath, then a thump as someone on the other line fainted.

"Hello?! Seraph? Crystal?" I asked worriedly.

"Don't worry sweetheart. My big hunk of man just fainted onto the table." Crystal giggled, barely able to contain herself as she tried to wake Seraph. "Honey? Honey!"

Serapah's claws scraped the table as he woke back up. "Uhh! Uh, Adras! He really proposed?!"

I giggled uncontrollably at the laudable situation. "Yeah, he *ghghh* really *Gahh!* did!" I said, barely able to make my sentance understandable as I laughed my head off. Talus walked up behind me and hugged me, asking me what was so funny.

I turned to look at him and laughed some more as his face brought back an image of his muscle bound father fainting. "Your dad just fainted." I giggled as Talus' jaw dropped. He ran out of the room and picked up the other line.

"DAD! I can't believe you fainted!" Talus' voice came on the call, clearly unable to believe the facts he was hearing. Seraph fumbled with the phone, his feelings turbulent and joyous.

"Talus you crazy kid! I can't believe you really proposed!" Seraph shouted in joy at his son. "You'd been talking about it for months!"

"Months?" I asked, wondering how long Talus had been trying to get the nerve to say the words.

Crystal's snickered. "Yes, dear. Talus has been trying to ask you to marry him for the past three months, but he's been too afraid."

I kissed my wedding ring. "Afraid of what honey?"

"I didn't want to have my stomach turn over and throw up all over you sweetheart." Talus answered meekly. "I was really afraid you'd. . .say no."

I slapped my forehead. "That's silly Talus! I would have never said. . ." I stopped and thought, knowing I would've done the same thing. "Well, maybe you're right. I would be afraid too."

"I love you." Talus said, making his parents sigh with happiness on the other side of the phone. I blushed, then ran out of the room, grabbing my mate and hugging him close.

"I love you too." I whispered, kissing his chest. Talus gave me a soft kiss on the top of my head.

"Yeah, he's still here. He just ran away from the phone to give me a hug." Talus said, winking at me. I patted his hand and ran back to my phone.

"When is the wedding?" I heard Crystal ask.

"July, but we havn't decided on a date yet." Talus answered, blowing a kiss into the mic meant for me. Seraph saw his chance and seized the opportunity.

"Thanks for the kiss Talus!" He said, faking a estatic voice. Both my mate and I groaned.

"C'mon Seraph!" I said smiling. "That was my kiss and you know it."

"I know!" He snickered, pleased at the corniness of his own joke. "Anyways, call us when you have decided on a date."

"Should I order you a dress Adras?" Crystal asked, playing me like a harp.

"Gahh! You know I won't wear a dress! We don't have that kind of relationship and you know it!" I said, mildly irritated that my own mother had pulled the same joke on me. Maybe it was a joke that all mothers share: "how to annoy your gay son with jokes about dresses."

Crystal laughed. "I know and I'm very glad you don't cause a wedding dress costs more these days than a tux."

"Aw, leave my honey alone Mom!" Talus said in my defense. Seraph grunted to get back into the conversation.

"Ahem, you two have a lot to do and shouldn't waste it talking to us." He stated rather dissappointed.

"Yeah, we really should get back to planning." I said, eager to have everything perfect for our wedding day. Talus' parents sighed in unison.

"Well, bye lovebirds." Seraph said.

"You too are perfect for each other." Crystal said, then couldn't resist adding in a silly joke. "Can't wait to see the kids!"

"MOM!" All three of us protested in unison. Crystal giggled histerically at her ludicrous comment.

"Bye sweetheart. Take good care of Adras, he's a rare find." Crystal said to her son.

"I know he is. I'll always try to make him happy." Talus promised.

"And you Adras! You take care of my son, go out of your way to make him happy, because the most important thing in marriage is learning that you both have to be happy for the marriage to thrive." Seraph commanded, the authority behind his voice a little scary.

I nodded at the almost twenty years of martial wisdom behind him. "I will."

"Bye Mom. Bye Dad." Talus said.

"Bye son. Remember what we taught you." Serpah said, his voice still authoritative. "Bye Adras, make married life a joy."

"Bye honey." Crystal bid farewell. "Adras, married life should be one long honeymoon, make it one."

"Thanks. Bye Seraph. Bye Crystal." I said, hanging up the phone, Talus already massaging my tired shoulders. I murred and leaned my head into his chest.

"We'll finish up the calls tommorrow honey, it's already eleven." He cooed in my ear softly. "Let's go to bed, Adras Saffire Miller."

I smiled at my new last name, then turned around to look at my mate, holding my arms out at him. "Carry me?"

Talus smiled, then swooped me up, carrying me out of the room. I switched off the lights as he carried me back to our bedroom. I turned and snuggled close to his chest as he carried me easily down the hall.

"I love you Talus." I whispered. He laid me softly down on our bed and kissed my nose.

"I know love." He said, pulling me so I would spoon against him, stroking my hair in the darkness. "See you in the morning."

"'Night, cutie." I breathed, feeling my eyelids grow heavy.

"Good night."

The next day was more of the same; making long phone calls about when and where we were going to have the wedding, appointments for clothes, food, and restauraunts. I began to get terrible headaches and found myself popping more and more painkillers as the day wore on. Maybe we had set a date that was too close to allow ourselves some enjoyment. But it would all be worth it. I thought and smiled. I'll spend the rest of my life with Talus. I groaned as I got another busy signal and hung up, dialing the number of my lifelong friend, my brother.

"Hey! Fucks happening bro!" I heard through the reciever. I shook my head.

"What did I do now?!" I asked, as was my habit whenever my brother started cursing for no reason.

"You know I don't need a reason. What's up?"

"Just called to let you know I'm getting married!" I said, wondering how my little brother would react.

"Married? To that guy you're going out with?" He asked in disbelief.

"Yeah. He proposed yesterday in the park." I grunted to get him to quiet down with the inevitable gay joke. "Hey! I want you to be nice! I know you don't like my being gay, and therefore you're not comfortable being around us, but I want you to know we're not as disgusting as you may think we are."

"I don't know Adras. You-"

"Listen, we need to talk about this in person. Meet me at the coffee place on Main and Central. We'll talk then." I said, wanting to have a heart-to-heart discussion with my brother. He sighed.

"Allright man. I'll be there in fifteen."

"See ya there." I said, hanging up the phone. I rushed to the bathroom and brushed my hair out, giving myself a cursory grooming and throwing on some clothes. I ran out into the kichen where Talus was continuing his phone duties and gave him a quick hug.

"I'm going to go have a talk with my brother at the Fresh Roast coffee shop honey." I whispered to him as he covered up the reciever. "Be back in about an hour."

Talus gave me a quick peck on the cheek. "Allright. Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?"

I nuzzled his cheek with mine. "Yeah. My bro would get kinda wierded out since I can't keep my hands off of you." I said, smiling. Talus stroked my hair lovingly.

"Be careful love." He said, handing me the car keys.

"I will." I said as we kissed, licking at the inside of each other's mouths. I quckly broke the passionate kiss and took the keys, running outside to the car.

I bought a White-Chocolate Mocha and sat down near the back where we would have privacy for our long overdue discussion. I took a sip and looked up to see my equally white pelted brother coming throught the door, his eyes scanning for me. I waved to get his attention and he padded over to sit down with me. I held my hand out and he took it in a friendly pawshake.

"Hey Padeus." I greeted. "How's it going?"

"Why don't you kill the greetings and tell me why you wanted to talk in person?" Padeus said, mildly irritated that he had to interrupt his weekend to come see me.

"Pad, listen." I said, setting my coffee down. "Let me set out the facts for you. One: I love Talus very much. Two: I'm getting married to him and there's nothing that heaven or earth can do to prevent it. Three: I want you to be there for me as you've always done since we were cubs. Four: I want you to treat both of us with respect when we are married and afterwards. And last: being gay is just like being hetro, except for obvious reasons."

Padeus sighed and leaned his head into the padded chair. "Adras, I don't know. I just can't be around your boyfriend, he just makes me feel sick. I don't know if I could go to the wedding either."

"C'mon bro, I need you there! You've always been there for me and I want you to be there for the most important day in my life too." I begged. Padeus sighed deeply.

"It's not that I don't respect you, it's that I can't repress my stomach for long before I'll barf all over your wedding dress or something. . ."

"Pad you bastard! You know I don't wear dresses and never will!" I said in anger, then leaning in to look my brother in the eye. "This will be the most important moment of my life and you're just going to skip it because of 'principles'? I thought you had no principles!"

"I don't! Just in the area of fags I-" Padeus said before stopping cold, facepalming in embaressment. I almost cried at the sheer mention of the insult.

"Pad, I thought we were past this." I said on the brink of tears. "You said you would stop using that word."

"I'm sorry man. It just slipped." Padeus said, clearly embaressed. I blinked away the tears and calmed myself down.

"Listen, if you don't want to come to the wedding, that's fine with me, I can't force you, you're a grown-up. But I can ask you for this small favor: when the day comes, will you at least show up for just a few minutes to say hi to us as a couple? I won't force you to stay for anything else, you can just show up and leave." I said, my heart broken. Padeus sighed.

"All right. I'll think about it." He said, standing up. I weakly got to my feet and gave my brother one of my family hugs.

"Thanks bro." I said as he patted me on the back and walked out the door, waving goodbye as he pulled out of the parking lot.

I left my now cold coffee on the reading table and walked into the bathroom, locking the door behind me then I cried my eyes out for the next thirty minutes.

I pulled up into the driveway of our house, setting the brake and turning off the engine. I looked at my ring, my wedding ring as the diamonds caught the sunlight and cast beautiful colors all around the car's interior and another tear began to form. I quickly wiped it away and jumped out of the car, running inside to see Talus. I found him asleep on the couch, probally exausted from the sheer number of phone calls he had been making. I hesitated about waking him, then gently shook him.

"Talus, wake up honey." I whispered in his ear. He jumped as his brain woke up from sleep and his eyes locked with mine, a smile forming on his lips.

"Hi cutie. I must've fallen asleep." He said, yawning and hugging my neck. "How'd it go?"

"I don't think he's coming." I choked, desperate not to cry, but failing. I burst into tears, Talus holding my waist and guiding me to lay on the couch with him.

"Shh, shhh. It's all right, I'm here for you." He whispered, nuzzling my neck. "It'll be all right."

I curled up close to my mate's warm body, desperate to melt into his loving arms, but finding I could get no closer than I already was. I simply jabbered in vowels as my emotions killed my sense of coherent speech. Talus cried with me, my pain seeping into him. I cried my eyes out for the second time that day, unable to do anything else for over an hour. Soon, my body dried of tears and I fell asleep in Talus' arms, emotionally and physically exausted. I slept and dreamed of nothing but darkness, old memories of playing with my brother when we were cubs running over and over in my head.

~ ~

The calender read June 14th. I was estatic, today was our wedding day! Talus and I had pulled everyone together: food, ceremonies, priests, hotels, everything was perfect. I had grown my hair down to the middle of my back, then tied into a ponytail. Talus had surprised me that morning with a very special boquet of white roses, all tied with small clamps on their stems. After admiring their beauty, I asked what they were for. "To tie to your hair. You'll walk down the aisle with over a dozen roses in your hair." He told me then clamping each and every beautiul rose to strands of my snow white hair. I admired myself in the mirror, a permanent grin attached to my face. Talus hugged me from behind, his muzzle on my right shoulder.

"You're beautiful." He whispered. "I love everything about you."

I blushed to the tips of my ears. "This was all possible because of you."

Talus kissed the side of my neck, then walked off to get ready. I stroked my ring, unable to believe that I was going to marry Talus today. I examined my medievil style wedding cloak, a simple dark purple robe over a well hidden wardrobe underneth. I turned around to look at the beautiful embroidered design on the back of the cloak and sighed. If there's one thing that Talus knew about me it was my love for roses, for a twelve inch wide image of a rose was swen into the back of my robe. I looked myself over one more time, careful to check for anything out of place, then hurried to help Talus as the minutes clicked by.

~ ~

Soon enough, I found myself standing under the shade of towering oaks and staring at an aisle lined with tulips and several other beautiful flowers, Talus holding my hand. Almost everyone we had invited had shown up, our collected parents sitting together at the front of the crowd and staring at us proudly. I scanned for my brother, but came up empty. I sighed and stepped forward as a small band sitting behind the appointed priest started playing The Leppard variation of Pachelbel's "Canon in D". Talus gripped my hand nervously as we walked down the aisle slowly. Everything was perfect. There was a gentle breeze, the flowers were in bloom, the air was warm and not hot, and Talus was as nervous as on our first date. I gave his hand another squeeze to calm him down as he walked in cadence to our beautiful music wedding music. I felt ready to burst with joy as the day I had been dying to see had finally come. When we reached the priest, the music had already reached its conclusion and we stood facing each other, Talus smiling as broadly as I was. The priest reached out and held our hands together as he began the service.

"We are here today for one reason:" The priest began, looking at each of our faces. "these two who stand before you today. They are bound to each other by an inescapable love that surrounds them and holds them together. Today they make the ultimate descision: marriage."

I blinked and continued staring at my mate, each and every beautiful word from the priest locking deep inside my memories. The priest released our hands and motioned to his assisant.

"May I have the rings please?" He asked. I looked over to see two furs standing there, one was a childhood friend of mine, the other was a childhood friend of Talus', both with small ring boxes. The priest motioned to Talus to take the triple diamond ring he had proposed to me with.

"Talus Seraph Miller, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded lifemate? To love and to hold as long as you both shall live till death do you part?" The priest asked. I already knew the answer.

"I do." Talus said without hesitation. The priest nodded.

"Then place the ring upon his finger and repeat after me:" The priest said as Talus slowly slid the ring back on my finger. "Adras William Saffire. . ."

"Adras William Saffire. . ."

". . .with this ring, I commit my love. . ."

". . .with this ring, I commit my love. . ." Talus repeated, his eyes locking with mine.

". . .to you and only you, in sickness and in health. . ." The priest said.

". . .to you and only you, in sickness and in health. . ." Talus said, the ring sliding further on.

". . .until death seperates us."

". . .until death seperates us." The ring was almost completely on now.

"I pledge this in front of heaven and earth and all those here." The priest continued.

"I pledge this in front of heaven and earth and all those here." Talus said, his eyes getting lost in mine.

The priest motioned to me to take the other ring, an exact duplicate of my own ring. I almost snatched it up in my exictement.

"Adras William Saffire, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded lifemate? To love and to hold as long as you both shall live till death do you part?"

I almost didn't wait for the priest to finish before blurting out my answer. "I do!"

"Then place the ring upon his finger and repeat after me: Talus Seraph Miller. . ."

"Talus Seraph Miller. . ." I said, placing the ring on my love's ring finger.

". . .with this ring, I commit my love. . ."

". . .with this ring, I commit my love. . ."

". . .to you and only you, in sickness and in health. . ." The priest stated.

". . .to you and only you, in sickness and in health. . ." I repeated, my eyes tearing a little.

". . .until death seperates us."

". . .until death seperates us."

"I pledge this in front of heaven and earth and all those here." The priest finished.

"I pledge this in front of heaven and earth and all those here." I said, finishing my vows. I wanted to kiss Talus right there, but had to wait for the priest to ok it. The priest smiled and backed off proudly.

"You may now seal this ceremony." He said to us. We grabbed each other and kissed passionately, holding each other's backs as we sealed our pact of love. I was so lost in the moment that the priest grunted and I realized we had been kissing for far too long and reluctantly broke the kiss, turing to face the audience.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I present Adras and Talus Miller!" He shouted as a roar of applause and cheers started.

I nodded at Talus and we shed our cloaks, revealing our bright white clothes underneath and a symbol of our heartbonding. Everyone in the audience was either crying, shouting with joy, or restraining themselves from running up and hugging us both. I kissed Talus again and we ran down the aisle, chased by our friends and family for the parking lot nearby. I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw my brother standing there by our rented limo, holding open the door. I felt my eyes well up and ran to his side. Before he could react, I gave him a giant, unrestrained hug, thanking him over and over for coming.

"Hey, I was here for the whole thing, you just didn't see me because you were busy staring at Talus the entire time." He said, winking at Talus as he walked up to stand behind me.

"Thanks bro! You don't know how happy I am you came!" I said, jumping back into Talus' arms. Padeus gave a wacky looking salute behind his dark sunglasses.

"No prob man! Just get on out of here before they find the stash of silly string."

"Silly str-?" Talus asked before we were covered with mounds of the prank substance. I eeped and pulled Talus inside the limo as Padeus roared in laughter. He had planned the silly string idea!

"Bye bro! See ya at the reception!" Padeus yelled as we pulled out of the parking lot, giggling the whole time. I smiled and cleaned my lifemate off, tossing the string away. Talus simply stared at me then held me close to him, not caring that I was covered with mounds of the stuff.

"I love you Adras." He said softly. My heart melted. Even though I had heard Talus say it thousands of times, it still felt like the first time.

"I love you Talus." I whispered, touching my lips to his, then locking him in a passionate kiss as we made our way back to the house to get cleaned up.

Today was my wedding day and it had been absolutely perfect. Talus was all mine now and I was all his.

I knew nothing could ruin this day. Not with Talus as my lifemate.
