Hmm... Chapter's shorter than usual. I'd add more but I moved onto the next one already so... hope this adequate :/
I walked into fourth with a feeling of dread. Once Seth got to the class room, I embraced him, feeling sick.
"Hey, what's wrong?" [Seth]
"Can we kill Marko?"
"I though we hated Tanner-"
"No, now Marko and-... No! Everyone has reasons for acting stupid, and it's too much! Ted's probably gonna cause Tanner to kill himself if he plays in the fine arts competition, and Marko's not gonna give a shit, but Tanner's brother's probably gonna be really upset, which'll piss off his boyfriend, who's Titus' uncle, and that'll effect us somehow and-"
"Hey, it's okay. Calm down, what're you talking about?"
"... Marko's abusive."
"Woah, that's a heavy-" [Ra]
"Truth?" [Titus]
"Wait, are you serious?" [Seth]
"Marko isn't hurting Tanner! He doesn't have bruises or anything." [Jeran]
"It's funny how he always hunches over, at least a little, like his stomach hurts or something." [Titus]
"Well-" [Ra]
"Or how if you ask him how Marko's doing, he gets this twinkle in his eye, but if you ask Marko how he's doing, Marko couldn't care less."
"That's not a sign of-" [Jeran]
"Or how there's the obvious fact that Tanner absolutely loves Marko with all his heart, but Marko just uses him!" [Titus]
"Oh, for what? Marko's a virgin!" [Jeran]
"Yeah? And how do you know? ... That's right, you don't! For all we know, they could go home to Tanner's place and bang all night long."
"You're sick." [Ra]
"Really? Says the guy who doesn't care about Tanner."
"Oh! Now I understand why you're so worked up about this!" [Me]
"... Shut up." [Titus]
"Wait, does he..." [Seth]
"Clearly, he does." [Ra]
"So what, it's not a big deal." [Titus]
"I'm kind of offended." [Jeran]
"Jeran, you're just a whore and you know it. Man up and take some fucking pride for once." [Ra]
"No, I don't want to." Jeran sat down in his seat and fixed the skirt he was wearing.
"Right, and what's the apalling part of this is realizing you're still a guy." [Me]
"And the fact that your parents let you wear that kind of stuff." [Seth]
"Yeah... They stopped caring about me once they realized I was gay. It's not hatred, it's lack of interest, and quite frankly I'd take either over the way they acted before I came out." [Jeran]
"Overbearing?" [Me]
"You don't even know."
"My parents supported NOM a year or so ago, I think I do."
"Oh, my god. I'm so sorry that you had to endure that. "
"Eh, they didn't find out until the beginning of summer and they got over they're unhealthy hatred, so I'm fine."
"Oh, lucky. And anyways, you've got a boyfriend, so you're practically set for life."
"You say that like they're gonna be together forever." [Ra]
"Hopefully." [Seth]
"But you're so cute, that's not fair to the rest of us." [Jeran]
"Whore." [Ra]
"Could you stop calling him that? That's really unsettling." [Titus]
"Why? 'Cause you think Tanner's Marko's whore?"
"Eh- that, and it's really mean to call him that."
"I don't mind. I get used to it." [Jeran]
"See, horny gets it." [Ra]
"Stop teasing him. Seriously, it's bugging me." [Titus]
"Aww... do you have a crush on Jeran as well?" [Seth]
"No, I-"
"He is bi, and Jeran's pretty feminine." [Me]
"Thank you!" [Jeran]
"Hey, I ain't touchin' a transgender." [Titus]
"Why doesn't anybody like me?" [Jeran]
"Because you're just a worthless whore." [Ra]
"You're not helping!"
"I wasn't trying to."
"Jeran, it's okay. He's just joking." [Titus]
"It doesn't sound like he's joking." [Jeran]
"Didn't you just say you got used to it?" [Seth]
"So? That doesn't change the fact that it still hurts when-" The class bell went off, and our Algebra II teacher got up from his desk, signaling the end of conversation.
