Wrong Place, Right Time - Part 2
So I decided to add another scene to the story. Not sure if this one makes for a good end to the story or if I should add one more scene to put a button on the whole thing.
Another little conundrum I'm facing is whether or not to publish this under a different name. It's set in the same universe as all my other original work, around the same time "Mission to Bellatrix" takes place, and the same alien species appear (zorai, mulathi (Syala's species), etc. So if it's published under a different name and someone notices they're both using the same setting ... eh. I've also got ideas for Trent and a few other characters to show up in sequels to "Bellatrix" as well, so ... if I try to hide what I'm doing with this particular story, it'll make me look dishonest. But I'm not sure I want my name attached to more "erotic" stuff ... not that I can avoid it without making massive changes to the setting. So ... eh. I dunno.
Anyway, once it's ready to publish, I'll just have to see what happens. If it sells well enough, and the same happens with the rest of the series, it might just make enough money to keep the rent and other bills paid. Which is exactly what I need right now ... after two years of job hunting, it's become clear that I don't have even the slimmest shot at landing a better job, and I'm continuing to have near misses (on a delivery a couple nights ago, an asshole in a huge SUV almost ran me off the road) and other risks of injury while at work ... not to mention that yesterday was the single most fucked-up, infuriating day I've ever had on this job (which I might rant about some other time, this isn't the place for it) ...
Anyhoo. If this actually works, maybe I'll have a shot at making enough money to get by and have more time and mental focus to keep writing the rest of the books and stories I'm currently working on. I can hope, at least ....

Author's note: I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this, but I've removed the content. I wrote this hoping I could make some money from it, and in the last three weeks have sold only four copies. Over a thousand people have read it and lots of readers enjoyed it, but ... yeah. Four. So I'm deleting all but the first scene or two from Part 1.
