Night of Love Story and Characters by SmokeyDaBolfionSergenko

Meet Simon, a young and sophisticated bolfion. He's the son of building tycoon Baxter Digsby. He goes to Beaverotn University as a business major and hopes to start his own business someday. Although while on the outside he seemed happy to the world around him, deep down inside he felt something was missing. Simon was a closeted gay fur. Mainly because ever since his parent split up when he was 16 he was scared to tell his father about his feelings towards men. Growing in an upper middle class family things weren't always perfect and his father being who he was people expected him to marry some woman from a high society family. But Simon didn't want that. He wants to find a man that doesn't look at his social status but at whats on the inside. He was certain he was out there. This is the story of how he found him.

Simon was just getting out of class for the day when he received an email on his phone. "You are cordially invited to the party of the year." was the title in the subject line. Turns out someone in his class was having a party at the local country club. He replied that he'd be there. The party was this Friday and it was the end of the semester so he thought it would be a good chance for him to unwind after finals. The invite called for formal dress attire, which wasn't hard to come by for Simon. He pulled out a nice blue suit and had it sent out to be dry clean by Friday. And when Friday came along he was ready for the party. Simon reached the country club that afternoon and started to mingle with the other members of the party when he saw him.

He saw a coyote talking to another person over by the drinks. He was wearing a red tuxedo and he looked well built in the body. For a while Simon just stood there staring at him and just couldn't look away and eventually the coyote noticed and walked over. Simon just blushed heavily.

"Uh.. Something catch your eye?" the coyote asked with a small smile. "Oh.. Sorry." Simon said blushing heavily. "I couldn't help myself but your tuxedo just caught me by surprise." The coyote chuckled. "Yeah I made it myself." he said. "One of my many skills."

"Nice." Simon smiled. "I'm Simon." "Jasper" the coyote introduced himself. "We take some classes together." Simon thought hard about it but couldn't remember all the members of his classes. He did see one geeky looking coyote in his mind that sits in his Business Media class but thought it couldn't be Jasper. "I'm the nerdy looking guy that always sits at the front of the class." Jasper said with a smile. Then it hit Simon because it turns out that some of his friends liked to make fun of him. "OH MY GOD!" Simon exclaimed. "I am so sorry! I dint realize it was you! My friends.. they're horrible to you." Simon just stood there horrified. Jasper just laughed. "Dude it's fine." he said. "My mom always says to let stuff like that roll off your shoulder." "Your mom is very wise." Simon said nervously. "Although I have to admit I didn't expect you to be here of all places on a Friday." Jasper said. "Really says a lot about your personality." "Yeah, my father is busy breaking ground on a new building." Simon said with a chuckle. "So I decided instead of sitting around the house figuring out what I want to do for the summer I should try to have some fun." "Well it's starting to get stuffy in here." Jasper says. "Wanna go outside and talk for a while about the upcoming semester?" Simon nodded with a smile. And for the next few hours, Jasper and Simon were outside talking about the upcoming semester and then the conversation steered from that to an intelligible conversation of how things were progressing in the country and from there it went to politics. It was one of the best nights of Simon's life. He actually felt he had a connection with someone. After a while Simon started to ask questions about Jasper. When the question about his home life came up Jasper went silent. "Jasper?" Simon said with a concerned tone. "Something wrong?" Jasper stayed silent for a while and when he finally spoke up it sounded like he was stabbed in the heart. "I'm not what you're exactly used to, Simon. I'm not classy or rich or even moderately." he said. "I grew up in a bad neighborhood. My parents were always struggling to make ends meet and keep me well taken care of. The only reason I'm in college right now is because I got a scholarship for a fully paid tuition in high school." It sounded like he was about to cry. Simon didn't know how it felt to grow up like Jasper did so he couldn't really relate but he did feel bad for him. "Listen, it's OK." Simon said comfortingly. "I know things must have been rough for you. And my friends don't exactly make it easy." He placed a paw on Jasper's cheek, turned Jasper's face towards his and looked deeply into his eyes. "I promise you. Things will get better." Simon then kissed Jasper deeply and lovingly and surprisingly Jasper kissed back. It felt like the kiss could go on forever and it was meant to be. After a while Jasper broke the kiss and smiled. "Wow. I guess there's more to you than I thought." he said. "Simon, thank you." Simon gave him a huge hug and another kiss and they rode home together. Turns out they were staying in the same dorm so it made things easier. After that night Simon and Jasper were inseparable. They went everywhere together and eventually started dating. Simon told his father everything and even told him about Jasper. Turns out his father knew about his sexuality and couldn't be happier. Simon and Jasper's lives improved greatly together than it ever would apart. They eventually got married and a house together. They couldn't be happier.
