So, it has come to my attention that the point at which I intend to break the story into two, is a bit of a climax. It just so happens that climax doesn't have a full resolution, and my understanding of sofurry tells me most of you wouldn't like the second part of the story. To those of you who are interested, it's based on my continuation to "Vagabond", except I never uploaded those six stories [four of them weren't finished] so that information is pretty much trivial.

We were walking out of the school three minutes before the bell rings, which is one of the good things about having PE as your last class of the day. We were walking down the bus line up, blindly following Titus to bus three. Yeah, single digit numbers for busses. It's weird to me, too.

"... Well it doesn't matter if it's unethical, I'm sure Alex would agree!" [Garrick]

"Hey, I may hate Christians and Christianity, but I'm not gonna pull holocaust two point oh or anything." [Me]

"I never said it'd be the holocaust!"

"Right, so what did you mean when you said 'Hitler had the right idea, just the wrong target'?" [Titus]

"Well when you say it like that, you make me sound like a psycho or something."

"Which you most certainly are!" [Daniel]

"Prove it."

"The last ten minutes of conversation." [Seth]

"You can't prove I said that."

"We have multiple witnesses, how can you just deny having said these horrible things?!" [Ted]

"Simple. It's a magic word, 'not'. I did, not, say that Hitler is a good roll model."

"Right, but that'd be lying, so it holds no contextual value." [Me]

"Oh fuck contextual value!"

"Okay, I'm done listening to you guys. I'm getting on my bus, you guys can go find yours yourselves." Titus stepped onto a bus, and I noticed the number on it's side.

"Okay. Found it." I pointed to the bus's side and followed him onto it, leading the others.

"Wait, how do you ride bus three if you weren't on this morning?" [Me]

"The school is like twelve blocks from my house. I'm not waking up at six just to catch a bus and wait around at school for an hour. I actually enjoy sleep." [Titus]

"I used to sleep on the bus." [Garrick]

"So did I, until everyone started being an asshole. Then I cried instead." [Ted]

"Wait, he actually drove you to tears?" [Titus]

Ted just nodded.

"Oh my god, I-... I'm so sorry."

Ted's voice quivered a little as he spoke, "I-it's okay. I... I guess it could've been worse."

"Not really." [Daniel]

"Well I wasn't gay then, so there's that."

"Trust me, it's typically only Christians who actually hate gays." [Me]

"Well, Kiari isn't exactly happy with it, but..."

"Kiari? Who's he?" [Daniel]

"... What the actual fuck, that's not even a masculine name!" [Seth]

"I'm not good with names."

"Were you straight you'd probably name your son, Jessica." [Me]

"And his daughter, Tom." [Seth]

"Shut up!" [Daniel]

"Kiari was cute. And then she started teasing me, and it hurt. Physically. Mostly because she punches when she teases." [Ted]

"... Okay, I think I this bitch needs to learn a thing or two about violence." [Daniel]

"It's okay, the bruises went away, and it helped send me to boarding school, which landed me with you. So..." [Ted]

Daniel wrapped his arms around Ted and pulled him up onto his lap. Nobody really noticed, or cared, and it was apparent to the fact that X got on the bus and grumpily sat down next to them without noticing Ted at all.

"Have a bad day?" [Seth]

"... Yes." [X]

Titus leaned over to me a little bit, a whispered, "So, who's this?"

"Oh, right. Uh, X, this is Titus." [Me]

"How fascinat- Wait, Titus as in that idiot in the vid?" [X]

Titus' ears dropped, his brows raised, and he slunk back into his seat, looking like the embodiment of sadness.

"Yeah, definitely. I'd know that stupid frown anywhere."

"God, back off!" [Me]

"Hey, it's not my fault those kids did that to him, I'm just doing what I'm supposed to, and that's be entertained by quality humor." [X]

"... You're an ass, you know that?" [Me]

"Why are you so defensive of him?"

"Gee, maybe I have this special ability to actually like people, unlike you, who seems to only tease, mock, and bully people." [Me]

"... Okay, god, I won't make fun of him. Geez, the way you're acting you'd think you have a crush on him or something."

Seth turned and looked at me. The look on his face said enough, and I just inched closer to the window, feeling ashamed of myself. I didn't have a crush on Titus, he wasn't even that cute, but the look Seth was giving me hurt. It was as if he didn't love me when he gave me that look. As if he was ashamed to be my boyfriend, or disgusted to have to sit next to me. I felt my lower jaw begin to quiver and my eyes water, and he didn't even notice, he'd already gone back to talking to the others.

I stopped paying attention to their conversation and noticed the people walking by. The triplets sat down a few seats in front of us, and Zane came by a minute later and sat down with Garrick, kissing him on the lips. Seeing the affection hurt, mostly because I was the only one not being loved by someone. Well, aside from Titus and X.

The bus's motor started up, and I got dropped off at the same stop as X, Zane, Seth... And Titus. Along with the girl who'd been on in the morning, and two familiar looking girls, a dragon and an avian. I was beginning to turn and head home when Seth caught my tail and pulled me to him, and I was caught off guard by the pain racing up my spine and I yelped at it.

"Ow, what was that for?!" [Me]

"Hey- I... Why are you so mad at me?" [Seth]

"I... It's nothing."

"I used that line all the time on my parents, I know that's a lie. Come on, what's up?"

"I just... I'm not gonna talk about it here."

"Okay, then come over."

"... Why don't you come over?"

"Because you don't have snacks."

"Well, I'd like you to come over."

"Why?"

"I just would. It's easier."

"But my place has better stuff to eat-"

"But my parents will kill me if I don't get home right away- and my house is closer to the block corner- and I've actually got a bike, so even if I do go to your place- it'll be easier."

"Okay! Geez, calm down."

"If only I could." I realized I was borderline growling at him at this point, and his ears dropped to the sides of his head. Normally, I'd have given him a hug for that look, but I didn't even recognize the look of despair in is eyes. He followed me home, occasionally trying to hold my hand which I brushed away when he did.

I entered the front door to find mom making dinner at her ever slowing pace. She was reaching the point where her stomach must've been holding a fully grown infant, ready for birth, but she'd only been pregnant for five months. I figured twins.

"Oh, hey boys. How was your first day at public school?"

"It was fun. I made some new friends, but..."

"What?"

"C-can I talk about this later? I need to talk to Seth about something."

"Sure."

We went upstairs to my room, setting our bags just outside of the zero gravity field. My furniture had scratched up the walls and I noticed the centimeter or two of difference between now and this morning. I had attributed it to the Earth's mobile axis, and continued to not give a crap. I turned myself upright against the wall and waited for him to the same. I'd figured out that with the gravity sort of inverted towards the wall, I could lightly walk on it.

"So... What did you want to talk to me about?" It finally clicked in my head. His ears folded down, his eyebrows raised, the vacant look in his eyes, the slight, downward curve of his mouth, and his tail against his leg.

"... You know I don't like Titus like that, right?"

"I... Yeah. I just wish you'd stick up for me like that."

"But I don't need to, nobody's casting you down anymore."

"I know, that's what confuses me. It... It's so nice that nobody assumes I'm this satan worshipping monster anymore, but... you and Titus... It just... I can't-"

"Help but be jealous?"

"Yeah. ... I know, I'm ridiculous."

"You're not actually, I was a little upset when you first talked to Daniel last year."

"You were?"

"A little. I knew you weren't gonna hook up with him or anything, and Ted sorta became his little slut after that, so, you know..."

"Heh, true."

"So, I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier."

"It's okay. I shouldn't have been so stuck up about it. And, anyways, Titus is kinda cute."

"Oh now who's got a crush?"

"Hey, I think a lot of people are cute. You, Ted, Daniel, Titus, that crazy guy on the street."

I smirked, "Okay, starboy, I think you're leaving some people out."

"Well yeah, I mean, all our friends. Except Tanner."

"Well no duh."

"And Marko."

"He is kinda pudgy."

"Kinda? It's like the only thing I notice when I see him. I walk around school and I'm seeing all these cute guys and then this weird fat tiger shows up and kills it."

"Oh, you're boner?"

"Okay, I'm not getting boners when I look at everyone. ... I'm a little stirred up, but not boning them."

"Well good-"

"Now Daniel on the other hand."

"But he's so bulky."

"You've come closer to that special place than I have, you know it'd be-"

"Man, you gotta stop watchin' porn."

"Well, I did. Knowing that X went to those same sites just... ew."

"Now you're saying ew?"

"Okay, it's just drawings, it's nothing too big."

"How can you say that when you've obviously seen equines?"

"Yeah, now I question if you've watched porn."

"... It was only for a short time."

"Oh, so who's a hypocrit?"

"And originally on accident."

"Right..."

"And then there was some weird, grotesque video and it made want me want to vomit and I just... ugh. I still lose my appetite when I think about it."

"Why?"

"I'm not sayin'."

"Oh come on!"

"No. It's gross."

"It can't be too bad."

"It's disturbing."

"Just say one word for why it's so gross."

"... I'll say three. Pain, injury, and rape."

"... Oh god."

"Yeah. And I only say rape 'cause it looks like that."

"Oh that's-"

"I don't want to know!"

"Heh heh..."
