#15 of A Dream come True

I wake up... leave my eyes closed... I am a bit afraid that all of this was just a dream. Please... please let Drake be real. Let me be with him. I take a deep breath. A strong musky smell fills my nostrils. I smile. I let my hand wander over his chest. A slight grumbling noise comes from him. He is real. He can't be a dream. I open my eyes. Parts of his face are covered in dried spunk. It's dark outside of the window.

Yawning. I look at Drake. He opens his beautiful green eyes, blinks a few times at me. "Something's wrong?" I scratch my right cheek. He follows my lead and scratches some of my dried cum off. "Oh..."

He lifts his upper body, musters me. Grinning madly he begins to scratch around his ass. "Huh?" I sit up and look down. The whole area around my tailhole is covered in a thick layer of dry cum. And as I lift up my body, a small stream of cum leaks out of it. I laugh loud, and if it wasn't already nasty enough, each laugh let another small load of juice squirt out. Drake watches me and laughs, too. I feel tears run down my cheeks. This is so fucking hilarious.

"Chris, you need a shower." Drake laughs, trying to catch his breath. "Is that an offer?" "You are joking, right?" I could easily spot a slight sign of fright in his face. Well... that's one way to interpret it. "Not that. Just thought you'd like to repay me for scrubbing your back the other day." "Then what are you waiting for?"

I stand up slowly. My shoulders ache a bit. Next time we decide to have some fun we should try not do it on the hard floor. Pictures run through my head. Yeah... a large heap of pillows... Maybe it really wasn't such a bad idea. "We can buy some later... but we should really take a shower first."

Buy? Right, I still need a job. And if yesterday was Sunday... "Why don't we wait for that a bit longer? Maybe Az can get you into his place. He gets paid a lot." Right, I had forgotten about that. What was it again? A powerplant... broken surveillance system... but if the guys there can't find anything, how am I supposed to know anything? I never did that kind of stuff. "Don't worry too much. I actually know Az's boss. He's a kind guy. And as Az said... it is already broken, so there is nothing you can make go worse anymore. I bet he will let you take a look at it." Well... It's worth a try. And if by any chance I manage to solve their problem... it would be a great first impression.

But for now, I really needed a shower. We walk slowly to the bathroom... we have lots of time. Drake pushes me into the shower, then follows into the roomy cabin and closes the sliding door behind us. I turn the taps. Cold water rains down on us, getting warmer within seconds. Yeah... that temperature feels okay. "Is that okay for you?" "Yup. And now stand still."

He rubs rough over the scales on my back. Yeah, that's good. Just right. I spread my wings slowly and carefully, and Drake instantly starts to stroke over the thin layer of skin. In comparison to how he just rubbed my back this feels like he is afraid to touch me. "He... yeah... afraid to touch you." He laughs. "Nah. But the skin of your wings, of every dragon's wings, is surprisingly sensitive, and wounds take a long time to heal." Another thing I didn't know about dragons yet... I really feel like I don't know anything about my new body. "Don't worry so much about that. That's what you've got me for. I'll watch for you."

He finishes cleaning my wings. "Your turn."

I turn around. Drake shows me his back. I start on his shoulders, rubbing gently, increasing the pressure slowly. I try to listen to his thoughts to find out when the pressure is right... still nothing... still... That's... oh yeah, this feels so great. I keep my pressure and now start rubbing his back.

As I reach his beautiful tail he also unfolds and stretches his wings. Okay... careful now Chris. I turn the shower head slightly so the rain covers his wings better. Gentle now. Damn, I'm scared to hurt him. What if I am not careful enough? What if- His tail twists around my arm like a snake and leads me to his wings. He trusts me. Okay Chris. Careful! Start slowly.

With one hand I hold his wing while my other hand rubs the semi-transparent skin of it. Actually this is the first time I take such a close look on them. Unlike the rest of our bodies, the skin on the wings is smooth. And from the bones spread thousands of fine arteries all over it.

Way too fast all of this is over. "Hungry for breakfast?" Drake asks me as he turns the water off. "Not really... What time is it anyway?" It was dark outside just a few minutes ago, so it was probably still night. "Think it's around 6 AM. Does that matter? Do you have your fixed times for meals?" "Bullshit. But I could still take another nap. 6 in the morning... still so early..." "Oh come on. You can't just sleep the whole day." "I'd wake up for lunch." I grin. But Drake doesn't seem to think it's that funny. "I won't force you, but I'll take a small walk outside. I love the smell of fresh air in the morning."

I feel a bit guilty for being such a lazy ass. But I really hate to get up early. And what I hate even more is sport in the morning. "I'm not talking about jogging or stuff. Just a little walk. To the park and back. Maybe half an hour." "Okay, so just walking. Well, won't hurt me to accompany you." "Maybe you will even start liking it." "Maybe." Drake leaves the bathroom and walks to the door. "Chris? You coming?" "Give me at least a moment to dry my hair a little. Don't wanna catch a cold." "Stupid me, you're right, my little fur-head."

I smile. Three meters tall and I'm still called 'little'.

I rub my hair halfway dry with a towel. Then, in front of the mirror, I try to comb them with my claws as there is nothing better around. If they were shorter I wouldn't have that problem.

Well, that looks good enough. I open the window, take a first sniff of the air outside. Cold, humid... and fresh. Not different to yesterday or all the time I have been here, but just now I realize how good the air smells. Well... no cars, no smog. I join Drake at the door. He scruffles through my hair with his hands and giggles like a small child. "Great Drake... just great." I try to sound annoyed but have to laugh as I see his wide grin. "Okay, let's go."

The fresh air really feels good. "Drake, up so early?" an unknown voice calls from the left. A dragon. Of course a dragon... His bright orange scales remind me a bit of the sunset in the lake. "So this is your mate? Hi, name's Nazar." A little startled I answer. "Chris.... Hi. "So... how do you like it?" he starts asking me. "Like what? Life up here? Can't really tell. Has been less than a week for me for all of those changes. It's still sometimes a little confusing." "But you look rather happy, don't you?" Happy? That's one way to call it. I'm overwhelmed by pleasure. Yeah, that suits it better. He doesn't wait for an answer and continues. "Yeah, that smile tells me everything. Drake, you got a fine mate there." "You have no idea." Drake start laughing, then remembers that I don't like to talk about all those details too openly. "You really have no idea." We wave each other good-bye as Drake and I begin our walk.

It's rather calm around us. Most others around are probably still asleep. Or at work. Right, or at work. Huh? I received Drakes thoughts without even trying it? And it makes me really happy. A kiss on my muzzle, gentle stroking through my hair. I repay him with a lick on his cheek. "Humans don't do that kind of stuff, do they?" "Cuddling?" "Licking." "Er... no, not really. I just thought-" He laughs. "You are really a dragon, no doubt." Well, thanks mister obvious. "It's a normal gesture to us dragons. But I'd never thought you'd just do it like that." "It just felt... natural. I'm not even sure myself why I did that." "Your subconscious probably told you." "I don't know... even back when I was still a human... I kinda liked the thought of it... and a few other things... that feel a bit... weird to me actually." "What kind of things?" Come on Drake, can't you just read it out of my mind? It's too- Too embarrassing? Nope, you will have to tell me. "Like... when having sex..." I gulp... this really feels strange to me, and I am a bit afraid of what Drake will say about that. It feels so... bestial. "...er..." I clear my throat. "...biting?" Just the shoulders or the neck of course. No way I'd bite off anything. Just like nibbling on it.

"Perfectly fine if you ask me. Some dragons like it rough and with biting, some don't. Just haven't thought you'd be one of those that like it." "Well it seems so... animal-like to me..." "...so uncivilized?" I laugh... but actually... he might be right.

"Don't worry my love. Dragons are wild beasts. Haven't you learned that in school?" I adjust my voice to sound a bit older. "Oh yeah, and if you ever meet a dragon, be careful. They fuck you like an animal." I can't hold my laughter anymore. "Yeah, why don't they teach you that?" "Stop it Drake, I can hardly breathe."

And just now we reach the park. Well, at least the big sign told me so, but we have been walking along meadows and trees and beautiful nature all the way. "This is the place I imagined when you wrote that one scene..." "You mean in my story?" "Yeah... when Arkay and Dante where on the flying island and Dante had taken a walk in the morning without waking his partner." He points out to one of the benches that stands at the wayside. "I imagined to be your Dante... sitting there, your head resting on my lap... stroking you gently... just the two of us." I remember that scene. Arkay had been searching for Dante in panic after waking up in an empty bed. His grandma told him that she saw Dante on his way to the park. Arkay ran like never before in his life. You love to be close to the one you love. That's why you formed Arkay like that, too. "I told you I was clingy."

We continue walking through this beautiful park. Trees, wild flowers... A small lake with a few colorful plants in it. The water was so clear, I could see all the way down to the ground. It almost seemed as I they were flying in some kind of thick air.

A couple of dragons crosses our way, not paying any attention to us at all. Hand in hand, their eyes locked with each other, their tails tangled. Drake notices it immediately and twists his tail skillfully around mine. The simple touch sends a hot sensation up my spine. "Want to sit down for a bit?" He suddenly asks. Well, why not? It's not like we have to hurry to anywhere. We have a lot of free time right now. We aim towards the next bench and sit down. I love the way he smiles when he is close to me. He does not only smile because he is with me. No, I can feel that he is truly happy about all the recent events.

He closes his eyes and leans back. I slide a bit closer and rest my head on his strong shoulder. I really like to sit like that when I am with him. My hair rubbing against his head, my ear pressed on his body so I can hear his heart beat strong. "Well if that isn't our two lovebirds..." Mike's voice rips through the silence. Az is with him. Seem like they had the same idea as us. Az gives me a sorry look. "You're feeling okay again?" "Don't be silly Az, you don't need to worry about that anymore. Even if this was just a dream, I want to enjoy every single moment of it. I should be sorry to make you worry about me." His eyes light up a little. "Glad you see it that way."

"So you are talking a walk, too?" I ask them. "Yeah. It's like a daily routine. Walking through the park, then go to work." "You work at the same place?" "No, but Mike works near to where I work, so we share a part of the way." "I work in a factory for furniture, operating the heavy machines there." Mike adds. "So..." I don't want to sound pushy, but just want to be certain he remembers it. "...Az, you will ask your boss about that job?" "Haven't forgotten it. Will tell you later how it went." Mike pushes himself in front of his partner. "So, what are the two of you going to do today?" Drake puts his head back. "No idea." "You could show me around a bit. I will live here but hardly know anything around." I say to Drake. "Maybe you two want to accompany us? That way you get to know where you might work soon."

Drake gives me an asking look. "Another time maybe. Today we will slack off, make a lazy day." "No problem. I'll come around at evening and tell you any news I have." We shake hands, then Mike and Az continue their walk towards work.

"We could have gone with them, you know?" I point towards our friends, walking hand in hand, kissing. "I think he asked just out of kindness." "You might be right. So what shall I show you first?" "Whatever you want. I want to get to know my new home town." "The trader's island sounds good for that. Small market booths, big shops, a few restaurants. Nothing you can't find there." "The trader's island it shall be." I smile. I think it was the right decision to let Mike and Az walk off on their own. Drake stands up and stretches again, yawns loud as the sun slowly rises over the horizon. "You are not the morning type of guy you pretend to be, are you?" Smiling slyly he answers. "What gave me away?" "Want to go back and sleep a few more hours?" "I'm fine. Just need a breakfast to get started." "Then let's go back home."

I get up, stretch my still tired body. I'm not the morning type neither. I prefer to sleep till noon.
