------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So yah, here's Chapter Two of the fantastical adventures of Antwon and Penny, and yes I know that this one may actually be SHORTER than Chapter one but . . . what can I say, I hope that Chapter Three is longer, as always, Critiques and Comments are very appreciated, and please give constructive criticism ... like if you have any suggestions on what kinds of things I should write more of ... and stuff like that ... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Team Smartz Chapter 2: Cold As Eisbecher "ACHOO!! *sniffle* ugh ... man I HATE caves, they're so damp and cold and wet and dark ... and cold." "You said ‘cold' already." Antwon said with a giggle. "Yah, I was just reiterating the fact that it is COLD in here!" "Well, complaining about the cold doesn't make it any more enjoyable, come on we've only got one more floor to go, man it's really dark in heerrreeeeee ... *thud* *bonk* *thwack* ......... ow ... I think I found the stairs ..." I burst out laughing and came toppling down the stairs after him. *thump* *crunch* *ACHOO!* " *sniffle* Thanks for breaking my fall, Antwon." "Hey, It's no problem, but would it be too much trouble for you to get you fat kiester off of me?" "Fine your high and mightiness." I complied with a chuckle. "Well, you've got guts, I'll give you that," the Sneasel stated with a sneer, "but you don't stand a chance against us, you little pipsqueaks." "I'm gonna make you EAT those words ... uhhh what's your name?" I asked. "The name's Bonnie, and this here is Clyde." She said pointing to her partner. "Yah, I'm gonna make you EAT those words Bonnie!" I said, "That Relic Fragment's not yours, I'll give you one last chance to give it back before we leave you laying helpless on the coastline!" "That's a lot of talk for someone your size," Bonnie snickered, "I refuse, we could get 5000 pokè or more on the dark-market for this kind of treasure." "Well, you asked for it! Tackle attack!" [Message Log] Penny used Tackle! Bonnie took 12 damage! Antwon used Thunder Wave! Bonnie became paralyzed! Clyde used Scratch! Antwon took 9 damage! Penny used Tackle! Bonnie took 15 damage! Bonnie was defeated! Penny gained 13 Exp. Points! Antwon gained 13 Exp. Points! Antwon used Thunderbolt! Clyde took 21 damage! It's a critical hit! Clyde was defeated! Penny gained 15 Exp. Points! Antwon gained 15 Exp. Points! Team PoisonClaw dropped the Relic Fragment! Antwon picked up the Relic Fragment! "Argh! ... You Pipsqueaks caught a lucky break! The next time we meet there will be no mercy!" Bonnie screamed as ‘Team PoisonClaw' scurried away. "YAH! You better run!" I yelled after the fleeing duo, "DUDE! That was freakin' AWESOME!! Oh yeah! We won!! . . . yah." "YAY! We got my Relic Fragment BACK!! In your FACE Team PoisonClaw!!" Antwon was ecstatic about the victory. "Wow Penny, you sure are strong, thanks a whole lot for helping me get my Relic Fragment back." Antwon said with a sincere grin on his face. "Is there any way I can repay you?" "Hey, it was no problem, I couldn't just sit tight and just let those thugs take your treasure," I explained, "plus I had nothing else to do today." "I know what, you can stay at my house for tonight!" Antwon suggested, "and then maybe we can start an Exploration Team together!" "Are you sure? I don't want to intrude on you." "Come on, It's the least I can do for you, you must be tired and hungry." "*grooowl* Uhh yah, I guess I'm a little hungry." I admitted with a chuckle. "Great, follow me." Antwon lead me through a small village called ‘Treasure Town' to a cliff called ‘Sharpedo Bluff' "Here it is!" He said standing in front of what looked like some kind of bush. ". . . You live on a cliff . . . in a bush?" I asked "Of corse not, I live in here." He said moving the 'bush' revealing a small opening in the floor. "Ta Dah! Me casa es su casa!" "Woah, This place is pretty cozy." I said as I looked around, "a heck-of-a-lot more cozy than that Beach Cave." I noticed there was one bed that looked kind of like a nest, a roaring fire, and a pool of fresh running water. "Yah, It's not much, but it's enough." He said as he laid down on the bed, he patted the spot next to him, "Come on, you need your rest." I walked over to the bed and sat down next to Antwon. "*yawn* I can't wait until tomorrow. Good night Penny." "Good night Antwon." I replied as we slowly slipped into a deep sleep. This might turn into a romantic thing between P&A but I haven't decided yet ... Once again ...
