Wild Card

Darkness surrounded me as I ran, not knowing where I was going or what I was running from. I soon heard a voice echo all around me.

"You will all suffer. The time of destruction is almost upon you."

"Who are you?"

A massive ball of fire appeared in front of me. A huge eye appeared in the middle as it set it sights on me. Fear ran through me as the eye started to glow purple.

"I am the destroyer of galaxies. I am Darkstar."

It hurled itself at me, engulfing me in causing me to yell in pain. I woke up with a yell pushing Tasha off me. She let out a bark as her rear hit the ground.

"Ow, what was that for?" she said looking at me.

"Oh, I'm sorry Tasha."

"Its okay, just remind me to stay off you when you're having nightmares" she chuckled standing up.

It was still dark as the sun hasn't risen yet. I stood up and shivered from the cool breeze hitting my naked body. I started to reach for my clothes before Tasha tackled me to the ground. I let out a grunt as she straddled my hips quickly.

"Hey what.." was all I could say before she kissed me deeply.

She broke off as suddenly as she had begun and gave a smile as her tongue held out to the side.

"I'm hungry."

"Well let me get dressed and we'll head back for something to eat."

"Not that kind of hunger" she said with a grin.

"Oh I see. Then I guess I can't deny you what you want."

"Never deny a wolf from it's food. The penalty is severe."

She gave me another kiss before trailing her tongue down my chest. She squeezed my balls gently causing me to moan as my penis hardened quickly under her light touches.

"Breakfast time" she said happily before slowly taking me whole.

I moaned and rubbed her head softly as she moved her head up and down. Her tongue circled every inch making me shudder and thrust slowly into her warm muzzle. She increased her suction lightly as her teeth grazed my head making me buck my hips a little. I felt my balls tightened a little, ready to deliver as I held back as much as I could. She sensed this and growled lightly letting my penis go with a slurp but still keep her hand on it stroking it up and down.

"Don't deny me Arny. Feed me."

She brought her head back down going faster as her suction increased more. I gripped her head tightly panting.

"Oh god..." I moaned before I pulled her all the way down and unloaded into her waiting maw.

She swallowed quickly making sure not to miss a drop. The flow stopped as she licked what little came out my head making me jump a little. Murring happily, she sat up licking her lips.

"I guess I could call that an appetizer."

"Thanks" I said looking at the sky which was starting to turn blue as the sun was beginning to rise in the sky.

"Let's go get something to eat now" she said tossing me my clothes.

"Kind of hard to walk after what you did" I said getting dressed.

"Call it special treatment. Now come on, I'll race you home" she said taking off.

"Hey wait a minute" I said putting on my shirt and taking off after her.

Outside Thanos's floating castle, a lone figure in a black cloak approached the front gate as the guards held their ground.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" the jackal said holding his spear out.

"I've come to see my good friend Zalbag. Let me pass and I won't have to kill you" the cloak figured said.

"Kill us? Hahahaha. What makes you think you can kill 2 of master Zalbag's hand picked men?" the dingo said poking his spear at the figure's chest.

"If Zalbag sunk this low as to hand picking nobodies like you, I'm surprised he's not dead yet."

"How dare you insult the master. Prepare to die worm."

The jackal plunged his spear into the figures body. To his surprise, no blood came out. Instead, black smoke came out of his body.

"What the fuck?" the dingo said confused.

The smoke quickly covered their bodies. They let out screams of horror as the acidic smoke began to slowly eat away their flesh. After a few minutes, nothing was left but bones as the smoke returned to his body.

"Simpletons" he said shaking his head as he entered the castle.

He walked inside as he got stares from all the slaves and guards alike. Walking up the stairs, he approached Thanos' private chamber. Instead of knocking, he walked right through it like mist, only to be met with a prison cell of lightning around him.

"Who dares has the balls to enter my domain without acknowledging who

they are and what they want?" Thanos said angrily.

"Please forgive my insubordination oh great and mighty Thanos" he said

kneeling at once having realized his mistake.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Yang from the demon realm of Xarcabard" he said taking off

his hood. He kept his head bowed before Thanos, not wishing to offend him anymore.

Yang was a raptor with white scales covering his body. Blue stripes could be seen barely running vertical from his neck down. His blue hair was medium length reaching his shoulders as his bangs covered his face only showing his right eye which was pitch black.

"Well well my good friend Yang. What brings you here?" Zalbag said walking up to him.

"Zalbag, you know this person?" Thanos asked more then a bit annoyed.

"Yes my lord. Him, his twin brother Yin, and Tyrant were close allies during the War of the Gods."

"Very well" Thanos said dropping the prison around Yang, who rose only after Thanos gave this signal by using one finger to signal him to stand. "Enter my chambers again without my permission and I'll do far worse then simply kill you understand?"

"Yes my lord Thanos. I will not make this mistake again" He said before turning to Zalbag.

"So what brings you around this dimension?" Zalbag asked.

"I heard there's a new holder of the Light stone with Tyrant imprisoned inside. I've come to see for myself."

"Well, you won't be disappointed. He is trapped inside, but the holder will not let him go."

Yang's eyes turned into slits as his teeth barred in anger, outraged that Tyrant was denied his freedom.

"Where is this person you speak of?"

"All in due time Yang. Tell me, where is your brother?" Zalbag said looking around.

"You know Yin, always causing trouble somewhere."

"Of course, how silly of me" Zalbag said with a chuckle. "But come relax yourself. You must be tired."

2 slaves came over and started to undress Yang as he gave an evil smile that sent fear through them.

"Once I'm done relaxing, I want to know about this person."

"But of course Yang."

Tasha and I arrived back home and headed for the conference room. Everybody was there talking and laughing.

"Morning fellas" I said.

"Ultimus, hey how are you?" Greywolf said.

"Feeling good but very hungry. Where's the food?" I said

"Here you go" my mom said handing me and Tasha a big plate of pancakes.

"Sweet" I said and sat down and began to dig in.

I was too busy eating to notice everybody looking at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked when I finally realized they were all staring at me.

"Well, we were thinking about last night" Tiger said.

"What about it?"

"Do you remember anything?" Venom asked.

I put my fork down and leaned back in the chair closing my eyes.

"The only thing I remember is watching Vicki die. After that, everything is a blur."

"Well, did you know there is another person inside the stone besides that maniac?" my mom asked.

"Somewhat. I only felt him once when he told me about the Claire Bible. Other then that it's been all Tyrant. Did he hurt any of you?"

"No, but he did a number on Zalbag and that Roo. But Thanos appeared before he could finish Zalbag off."

"He did?" I said shocked.

"Yeah, but he didn't hurt anybody to bad. He just said he wanted to fight the person inside the stone when he's fully awakened" Tiger said.

"Damn, I'm really causing a lot of problems."

"Nonsense" Xellos said. "We'll figure out everything when the time comes."

They all nodded as I smiled.

"Thanks" I said before letting out a huge burp.

I covered my mouth and blushed madly as everybody laughed.

"Sorry, guess I ate too fast."

Jenna walked in with a bounce in her step.

"Well if it isn't the birthday girl" Theft said with a smile.

"It's your birthday today?" I said looking at her.

"Yeah, I'm now 24 years old" she said happily.

"Well then, who's the oldest here?"

They all looked at Crystal who growled.

"So I'm the oldest, big fucking deal."

"How old, if I may ask?"

"35" he responded with some disgust, I wasn't sure if it was real or just in play.

"Oh. Well I kind of figured Venom was the oldest." I said

"Sorry, I'm only 29" Venom said with a smile.

"Anyway" my mom said getting up. "We have to get everything ready for the party tonight."

"Right. I'll head to town and pick up the stuff you ordered" Chris said getting up with Nicole.

"Hey wait up Chris. I'll go with you" I said following him.

We hopped in his car and took off towards the store. Chris and Nicole were flirting non stop.

"I see you've found a perfect match for your ego."

"Hey, don't get mad because she's prettier then Tasha" Chris said looking at me through the rear view mirror.

"I wouldn't go that far" Nicole said giggling.

"Well I'm glad he finally found somebody besides his right hand."

"HEY!!!" Chris yelled before hitting the brakes at a red light. "Ohhhhhh I'll get you for that!"

"Sorry" I said laughing along with Nicole.

"Don't worry Chris. I won't think any less of you" Nicole said giving him a kiss.

Chris grunted as he pulled into the parking lot of the store as we got out. As we were picking up the stuff that my mom ordered, I couldn't help but get these chills up and down my spine.

"What's wrong? Afraid somebody's coming after you?" Tyrant said with a chuckle.

"Why should I be? Nobody's stupid enough to come after me."

"Since when have you been so full of yourself?"

"Humph, wouldn't you like to know?"

But he was right though. Somebody was coming for me, I could feel it. I was staring into space when Chris tapped me, making me jump.

"Are you going to help me with this stuff, or just stand there like that statue of the Indian holding those cigars?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry."

We loaded the stuff in the car and headed home. Chris tried to take the direct route but ran into traffic.

"Bah, too much traffic" Chris said as he turned around. "Let's take the back route."

Chris turned down the dirt road when those chills came back 10 fold making me shiver. Somebody was coming after me and found me.

"Chris, stop the car." I said

"What? Why?"

"Just do it" I said sternly.

"Whatever" Chris said stopping.

I got out and looked around. It was still early afternoon as the trees hid some of the sunlight. A light breeze came from the east blowing my hair into my face.

"I know you're here somewhere. Stop hiding."

Black smoke appeared in front of me as someone garbed in a black cloak appeared with his face covered.

"Who are you?"

"Where is Tyrant?"

"Who?"

"Don't play dumb with me boy. I know you are the holder of the Light stone with Tyrant trapped inside."

"And how do you know this?"

He held out what appeared to be some sort of collar that glowed red. I held my chest starting to breathe rapidly as if my air was being cut off.

"Only Tyrant would respond to his own power collar. Release him now boy, I command it" he said taking off his hood showing me the raptor like face.

"Forget it."

"Very well, I will do it the fun way."

He started walking towards me as I went to one knee feeling Tyrant coming on strong.

"Well, I never expected to see Yang again. And he has my collar."

"Who the...hell is...that?"

"A good friend of mine."

"You have friends? You could've fooled me."

"Shut up and let me free."

I closed my eyes struggling to keep him inside as a little of my hair was turning red.

"Arn, get in quick" Chris said.

"Don't interfere human" Yang said as a black dome covered the car preventing him from getting out. "Tyrant, can you hear me?"

"Yang...he's fighting...me. Do...something."

"Very well, I'll send you back to Xarcabard where one of my brother's "bodyguards" can probably rip that stone from his body."

He held his arms out as the winds picked up dramatically. The sky darkened as a black hole appeared under me.

"Enjoy the ride. Sorry that I don't have refreshments lined up."

"It's okay. I...had a...big breakfast" I said with a chuckle.

"I hope that mouth can save you where you are going. "Chaos Dimension"."

Hands appeared from the hole and grabbed me. I tried fighting them off but couldn't do that and try to keep Tyrant in check at the same time. I was pulled into the hole as I heard Yang laughing.

"Enjoy the scenery, for it will be your last."

The hole swallowed me completely before disappearing. I tumbled through this vortex like it was a water slide. I had no idea where he sent me. The only thing I knew for sure, it wasn't going to be pleasant. He said something about letting one his brother's bodyguards take care of me. Suddenly, I was ejected, hitting something big, furry, and dark. I hit it with such force that and at such and odd angle that sent a burst of pain through my left side as I could feel a couple of my ribs crack as I bowled over whoever or whatever I had hit. I rolled over the creature before hitting the ground and rolling into a stone wall. As soon as I got my senses, they were assaulted by the stench of rotten flesh, and rotten eggs.

"Damn you. Where is my son demon?" somebody yelled out.

I looked up to see something out of a horror picture. Standing nearly 10 feet tall was a massive shadowy gray werewolf. He was holding 2 massive katanas, each wrapped in a different aura. I turned my attention to the object of his rage, a demonic creature that was

leaning against a throne like chair, holding his right side. He was torn to hell covered in claw marks and sword slashes, his bat like wings tore and shredded beyond use.

"He's alive in my master's dungeon" he said with a smile before spitting out blood. "Caged like a prized animal."

He let out a laugh as a reddish fire engulfed him and then disappeared before the werewolf brought down his swords down on the throne. The sound of thunder erupted along with the flashes of lights and fire. The throne exploded as the werewolf let out a howl of rage. It was so loud I could hear the place echo with it as he ended it growling and inhaling deeply. He was snarling with his fangs bared, if I had to guess they were at least three inches long.

"You may have saved yourself from my wraith, but you won't escape the wraith of Canis demon." he spoke out as it was clear he was trying to calm down, taking deep breaths.

I tried standing up but my side was hurting from where I hit him. Plus, Tyrant was coming on stronger then ever.

"I've broken one of the seals that hold me. It won't be long before I finally break out of this imprisonment for good."

"Go to hell" I said with anger.

"What did you say to me?"

I looked up to see this monster looking at me, his fangs bared ready in an attack pose growling out. His glowing blood red eyes were making it hard for me to breath, I swear my heart skipped a beat. I don't know why I said what I said next.

"I have a magic stone in my chest. Trapped inside that stone is a demon called Tyrant. He's trying to escape the prison inside the stone."

The werewolf's features soften as he said, "I'll buy that for now."

I felt Tyrant push again as my hair turned red and went longer down my back.

"Hahaha, that's right give in. This place is filled with all the power I need to break these seals."

"Hey, you okay?" the werewolf asked as he came over cautiously.

"No, I'm not. It's this place. He's...absorbing the aura in it."

"Can you use that stone in your chest?"

"To some extent...yeah"

Before I knew what was happening, I stood up and started to attack him,

I lunged at him trying to punch him as he easily pulled back out of range.

"What are you doing?" he growled out annoyed.

"It's not me. He's controlling my movements."

The werewolf ducked and dodged my feeble attacks and tackled me to the ground, his katana at my neck. Tyrant tried to fight him but he was much too heavy and strong for Tyrant to deal with for now.

"I thought you said you can use that stone?"

"He's still a weakling" Tyrant's voice echoed out. "It won't be long before I break the rest of the seals. Then you too, will share his fate."

A dark, red sphere started to surround us as the werewolf howled in pain but kept me pinned down. His sword pressed at my throat harder but not hard enough to cut.

"You've...got to fight him" he growled at me.

"He's...too strong. I...can't...do it" I said trying my best.

Tyrant used my left arm and drove it right through the wolf's fur and skin into his body where he began to push his raw, evil power into his body. He snarled in pain as he locked gazes with me causing me to be in a trance like state. He had used some type of mind control on me. I so distracted I was unable to resist it, but then I not sure if I even wanted to. Something about him seemed familiar. I couldn't place it but it was like I had known him all my life.

"Use the stone's power to strengthen these seals that hold the demon in."

The world seemed to shift around me as everything went blurry. I opened my eyes to see Tyrant fighting to free himself. Lightning was surging through his body but it only seemed to drive him more.

"The end is near boy."

I ran up to him and grabbed his free arm, trying to force it back to the broken seal so I could reseal it. His other arm suddenly broke free and he grabbed my throat, cutting off my air supply.

"I will not be denied. Not by you, and not by that walking rug either."

The lightning that was going through his body was now going through me. I lost focus as his other arm escaped my grasp and wrapped around my throat. I tried hitting his arms off but his grip was too strong. I felt myself getting weaker by the second as I closed my eyes trying to think of anything to stop him. It was then I felt that other presence inside the stone appear as it attacked knocking his hands away from my throat.

"Humph, I knew those seals I put on you would give way someday" I heard someone say.

I opened my eyes to see Ramza now struggling with Tyrant.

"Ramza" Tyrant said with disgust. "Stay out of this."

"Sorry, but I still need this boy's help."

I joined Ramza and managed to get a good hold on his left wrist as Ramza got a hold of his right, I let go with one hand suddenly and punched Tyrant in the stomach taking his air away for a spilt second. Bringing his arm up, I lined it up with the broken seal as my hand glowed white.

"Elemental Seal" I screamed out as loud as I could.

The seal glowed brightly as it repaired itself quickly, locking his arm in place. With Ramza's help, we resealed his other arm before backing away. Tyrant looked at me with murder in his eyes, as I panted out I smiled at him. I couldn't help it.

"This isn't over Ramza. This isn't over not by a long shot."

"We'll be waiting. Until then, have a good day" I said with a smile.

White light surrounded me as I disappeared. Opening my eyes, I saw the werewolf looking at me. He took a hold of my right arm and he gently lifted me up with ease and presented me with 2 bottles.

"Here drink these. The blue one will heal your wounds and the green one will restore your energy. You look like you need it."

He was right I was tired and exhausted, and in pain. I looked at him, then the bottles. They were clear glass bottles amount the same size as a 20oz. pop bottle, each one capped with a wooden cork covered with wax. With a shaky hand, I took the blue one and with some slight trouble popped off the cork and downed the liquid in one gulp. It was like water, but the best tasting water I had ever had. It also had just a hint of fruit flavor, but I couldn't place it. Once the bottle was gone the pain in my side instantly vanished, I could feel some energy coursing through my cracked ribs healing them. I grabbed the green one and downed it as fast as I could, moments later I felt my strength came back. I felt better than a long night's rest.

"Thanks" I said with a nod.

"I take it you didn't get sent to this hell hole by choice. So what happened" He did sniff me, getting my scent as I told him.

"I was sent here by a demon called Yang, one of Thanos' minions. And you?"

"That demon you helped escape has taken one of my sons. And I've heard the name Thanos before, I don't remember where."

"I see. I'm sorry about that."

"Shit happens. Can you use this?" he said tossing me one of his katanas.

I could feel a strong power coming from it as I held it. It was large, so large it would take two hands to properly wield it, but then it shrank down to the size of a normal katana blade. I noticed it was far lighter then I expected. I noticed something very odd about the energy. It was as if Light and the very essence of everything good it's self had been put into the blade, but there was something else to that power.

"What is this?" I asked in awe I could feel the light stone respond as then Tyrant's presence was gone as if this sword was reacting with the light stone to suppress him.

"That is Woebringer. A holy acid and fire based blade. It works well against demons, devils, and their ilk."

"Acid and fire based" I said looking at it as the entire blade from the tip of the sword to the handle got covered in flames and began to drip acid that burned into the floor. I could feel the heat from the fire and acid, but it wasn't harsh or painful, I pulled a hand away from it and it wasn't hurt. "Very cool, where can I get one?"

"Name's Shadow-mane, you?" he said with a smile as his other blade was wrapped in a bluish aura that cracked like lighting.

"Arngrim Ultimus, but everybody calls me Ultimus."

"Well come on, you can help me get my son back. I know a friend who can get you home Ultimus. Now come on."

We exited the throne room and turned down the hall.

"Do you know where you're going?" I asked.

"Yes, I can feel him. He's alive somewhere in here. Keep on your guard, do as I say and we'll get out of this alive Ultimus" he said checking down a hallway.

All around the place were broken bodies of the demons that were victims of his rage. Now that I could focus on something other then Tyrant, I could feel the energies flowing through this place. It was dark, forbidding, filled with despair, and the very taste of evil was thick, so thick I could taste it. Anyone could feel the fear, pain, and death. When I was fifteen Chris, me, and some friends had spent the night in Madman's Cavern. About twenty years before, I was born some madman went around kidnapping and torturing people to death in there, from what I heard he'd killed nearly one hundred people of all ages. It was said to be haunted, there was a dark feel to the place that gave us all nightmares, but it couldn't hold a candle to this place. A snapping sound caught my attention as Shadow-mane had caught me zoning out.

"Keep your focus I can't protect you and my son at the same time."

I looked at him and nodded as he pushed his finger forward, signaling me to advance. During this time I changed my focus to something so I decided to look this werewolf over. His fur was thick and coarse looking, dark gray, streaked with dark brown stripes at various angles. It also had a number of nearly dried blood streaks running down it from where he had been hurt or blood had been splattered on him. This place had torch lights shining dimly and it gave him the look of a near living shadow. Around his neck was a black ring that went up the back of his head covering the back of his ears and stopped before it reached the top of his head. It was almost like a lion's mane not a big or pronounced, but I could see where he got his name.

His muscled frame was massive with strong thick limbs and large muscles. He had a clear strong build to him, firmly muscled but not overly muscled. I had to guess his weight at maybe 800 and some odd pounds. I noticed how animal like he was as his tail twitched like a canine's and his ears moved back and forth while he sniffed the air. He moved with the grace of a predator hunting. He did not look like some monstrosity out some bad horror flick like The Howling. He was quite handsome, his face resembled that of an over grown wolf, vaguely anthropomorphic, but more feral looking.

I looked at his hands and finger tips, his hands were large enough to easily wrap around my throat with room to spare and his five fingered hands were tipped with lethal looking claws about an inch and a half long. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of them, must less one of his swords. I refocused my mind and checked behind us as the décor around the place was disturbing. Scenes of torture, murder, death, and demons raping mortals. The torch light gave it an even more disturbing scene.

"So who exactly was that demon inside you?" he asked quietly.

"Long story that'll I'll tell in a friendlier environment."

He chuckled as we came to a huge, steel double door. In the middle of the door was an image of a snake wrapped around a sword. On closer inspection I noticed the doors weren't made of steel but some other type of metal, it was no metal I had ever seen before though.

"He's behind these doors" Shadow-mane said as he thrust himself against the massive double doors and started pushing the doors.

I saw Shadow-mane's muscles flex as he put all his weight and strength on the door. Soon the door started to emit a terrible creaking sound as if metal was tearing away, "Damn adamantium doors!" He growled out as that rending sound got louder and without warning he gave one last howl and with a terrible sound of metal snapping the doors just flew open under his terrible strength. I did not want to get on this guy's bad side. As it opened fully, we saw a cage in the middle of the room with a young gold and white anthropomorphic wolf cub no older then five years old crying inside balled up in the corner with his head down.

"TOMMY!" Shadow-mane yelled.

"Daddy?" the boy looked up and turned to us. "Daddy, help me please."

"Hold on, I'm coming."

Shadow-mane ran up to the cage. As he tried to grab it, his hands went right through it.

"What the hell?" Shadow said confused as he tried again and again. "What the fuck's going on here?"

We heard laughter as a cloaked figured appeared above the cage.

"You won't be able to reach him from there. You're in the right place, but once I felt you arrive I moved him to another dimension, that is nothing more then a projection of the brat."

"Who the hell are you?" Shadow-mane snarled.

"My name is Yin" he said taking off his hood revealing his face.

He looked exactly like Yang except that his scales were black with white stripes running horizontal down his back. White hair covered the left of his face as his white eye looked at me.

"Wait a minute? I know you. You're the same person that sent me here" I said angrily.

Yin looked at me before he chuckled.

"Oh, you mean my twin brother Yang. Yeah, he's a joker."

"Twin brother?"

"Hmmmm, I sense Tyrant's presence around. Could you be the person that rumor said has him trapped in the Light stone?"

"And what if it is?"

"Then I will have to kill you."

"Don't ignore me" Shadow yelled.

He ran and took a jumping swing at Yin head on. Yin smiled as he went right through him. Shadow-mane recovered instantly once he landed and looked at Yin who laughed.

"Your attacks cannot harm me from where you are."

He went in front of the cage and grabbed the boy roughly by his hair. Yanking him out, I could feel my temper rise seeing his treatment of Shadow-mane's son.

"Yes, his boy will suit my experiments perfectly."

"If you hurt my son in anyway shape or form, your death will not be a pleasant one" Shadow growled.

"I see. Normally, I would have my welcome crew greet you but from the looks of things outside, you've already taken care of them."

He tossed the boy back in the cage and looked at us. I could feel Shadow's rage building to a point that he was shaking, hell a quick glance I saw foam starting to form at his mouth.

"So I'll let my new experiment have some fun with you. There all yours Janenba" Yin said before disappearing.

"Come back damn you!" Shadow yelled.

Where Yin was standing, a black puddle of ooze appeared. It swirled around before forming into a solid mass. It took on the form of a praying mantis with huge scythes for arms and giant bat like wings. Its black slimy body moved like jelly around him. With a screech, it launched itself towards Shadow.

"Don't stand in my way" he shouted cutting Janenba in half right down the middle.

The 2 halves flopped to the ground turning to a black puddle.

"That was too easy" he said

"Don't be too sure" I said looking at the puddles.

The puddles started to bubble as they formed 2 new bodies.

"Regeneration is a great ability don't you think?" Yin's voice said. "No matter how many parts you cut off it will grow a new body."

"Dammit" Shadow howled in rage.

"Behind you" I said cutting the mantis's arm off followed by the head.

The blade had moved of its own accord, guiding my hand so I would decapitate it. I didn't really have time to marvel at that as those parts formed new bodies and attacked us as we hacked and slashed away. They were not hard to take down, however they simply kept forming new bodies. Soon, there were at least 50 of them as we stood back to back breathing hard I had some nicks and cuts, nothing serious, but I could see we lacked the knowledge or power to properly defeat them.

"This is endless. We have to get out of here" I said.

"I'm not leaving without my son" he snarled out his anger was so great it was blinding him.

"But you heard what he said. Your son's not in this realm."

"I don't care. I'll cut every single one of these bastards down no matter how many times they come back."

"That's suicide Shadow. You're thinking out of rage. Do you want your son to watch you get killed right in front of him?"

He tensed up and looked at the cage. His son was crying and calling his name. The Janenba's inched closer and closer as we stood ready. Suddenly a circle appeared under us and in a flash of light, we disappeared. When we opened our eyes, we were in a room as a female fox looked at us dressed in a dark blue robe of sorts. She had golden orange fur and a smile on her muzzle.

"Looks like I got you out just in time" she said with a smile.

"Faleen, I should've known" Shadow said with a little anger.

"Glad to see you too" she said. "Who's your friend?"

"Somebody who knocked me down while I had my back turned. Why did you teleport me back here?"

"I saw you were in trouble, so I got you out. From the looks of things, you didn't know how to defeat those things."

She had a white, seven foot long staff topped with what looked like the biggest diamond I had ever seen in one hand and with her other she made a few gestures as one of the Janenba appeared with a flash of light in the corner of the room. It seemed momentarily confused but then saw us and tried to attack as it hit an invisible barrier of some sorts.

"Don't worry it can't escape that force cage. This is a demon I've never seen before. I need to learn about what it is and how to destroy it" she said as it struggled against the invisible walls, I also noted it wasn't making any sound.

Shadow grunted as a female wolf walked in and ran up to Shadow, hugging him tight. She was dressed in a nice set of clothes. She was predominately brown with a white or light gray jaw and throat.

"Oh my god Shadow, are you okay?" she asked.

"Yes Sarah, I'm fine" he said.

I noticed he had no injuries at all as he hugged her back firmly and careful not to hurt her, there was some blood on his fur but no injuries that I could see.

"What about our son, where is he?" she said looking around.

Shadow held his head down and looked away as she started to cry.

"He's dead isn't he?" Sarah said tearing up.

"No Sarah, he's not. He's still alive somewhere. I was able to get to him but when I tried reaching for him, my hands went right through him" Shadow said touching her face lightly.

"You mean he's not in the castle I gated you to?" Faleen asked.

"He was. But some guy named Yin said he moved him to another dimension, once I arrived."

"What does that mean?" Sarah asked.

"Don't worry I'll find Thomas, even if I have to tear down every layer of the Abyss to find him" He said as his anger was brought under control now.

Faleen came over to me with a smile.

"Now, what's your name cutie?" she asked.

"Um....Ultimus."

I looked at her more closely. She was drop dead fucking gorgeous. She had on an armless dark, blue gown that showed off her fine figure. Her fur was more golden the orange. She had the common gloves and boots marking a vixen from my world had and her eyes were deep blue that shined with a mystical power and great wisdom and age. I could feel my cock trying to erect.

"So Ultimus, how did you get here?" Faleen asked looking me over, she

licked her lips able to smell my arousal.

"Take it easy there Faleen. Don't get carried away, we have more important things to deal with" Shadow said, as I watched Sarah just leave before she left she said.

"Find our son soon, please."

"Relax Shadow, I know" Faleen said sticking her tongue out.

"To answer your question Faleen, It's kind of a long story."

"We have plenty of time. Come over here and I'll fix you up and you can tell us all about it, besides Shadow-mane needs to calm down after that." I had completely forgotten about having been hurt.

Yin appeared outside Thanos's castle and walked in. Heading inside, he walked upstairs and proceeded to Thanos's private chamber, unlike his brother, Yin didn't get ahead of himself and forget to knock and await to be allowed in, once he was told he could enter by Thanos he came inside as Yang greeted him

"You're late Yin" Yang said looking at him.

"Something came up that needed my attention" he said.

"What trouble have you caused this time?"

"You hurt my feelings by saying that brother" Yin said with a smile.

"What did you do?"

Yin chuckled and walked over to one of the slaves.

"I just found another perfect specimen for my latest project."

"Yin, I told you about those stupid things you do. Remember that girl you took from Qufim Island?"

"We took care of their silly army though. Besides, you saw how good she performed for me."

Yang let out a sigh and shook his head.

"So who's after you now?" Zalbag said.

"Some silly werewolf and that boy who holds the Light stone."

Both Yang and Zalbag looked at him.

"You mean he joined forces with a creature we never heard of or saw?" Yang said angrily.

"He's a weakling brother. I had a taste of what power he has and it's barely worth it. He will pose no threat. Though I must give him credit, he did make quick work of my bodyguard Gigas, not to mention most of the occupants of the castle."

"That's not the point Yin. Don't you think before you act?" Zalbag said as Thanos smiled watching the entire scene wondering how this would turn out in the end.

Yin looked at Zalbag angrily.

"Don't treat me like your son. It's bad enough I get lectures from Yang but I won't listen to it coming from you."

"That boy is still a threat" Zalbag said giving him an evil glare. "You don't know what he's capable of. And now he's joined with someone we know nothing about."

"Relax Zalbag" Yin said calming down somewhat as he eyed a couple of slaves evilly. "Yang and I can handle a little boy and a big bad wolf."

Yang let out a moan of disgust.

"Guess it's up to me to fix everything, AGAIN."

Yang headed for the door before Yin stopped him.

"Where are you going?"

"To try and even the odds."

With that said, Yang disappeared in a sea of black mist.

"He's always trying to ruin my fun. Oh well, he won't ruin the fun I'll have right now" Yin said as he turned his attention to the vixen who now had his attention.

"So that's pretty much the situation" I said explaining everything that has happened so far to Faleen and Shadow-mane.

"Very interesting. So you need this Tyrant's power to destroy this Thanos?" Shadow said.

"But what about this huge fireball you said that was heading to your galaxy?" Faleen asked.

She was clearly the more interested of the two. She had even asked me questions to clear up some points of confusion for her, Shadow-mane was also interested, but I got the impression Faleen knew more about what was going on then I did.

"I guess we'll deal with that after Thanos, if we can."

"Don't these power stones sound familiar, Shadow?" Faleen asked looking at him.

"Yeah they do. We'll worry about that later. Right now the only thing on my mind is finding my son."

"If I can get back home somehow, I could ask Theft to take a look and see if he could find him" I said

"If these demons are after you and Tyrant, they'll show up again for you, then once I gauge their power I'm going to stop pulling my punches on them."

"Pulling your punches?" I asked him.

"Yes" he said. "I was just hacking and slashing my way through the castle, I wasn't using any of the fighting styles I've learned, and thanks for snapping at me back there, I really wasn't thinking straight."

"Don't mention it" I said.

"I can get you back to your home realm, but I would need something from your world" Faleen said.

I crossed my arms for a second before feeling the comm around my wrist.

"Here, will this work?" I said handing it to her.

"Yes it will. It'll take me a few minutes to get everything ready" Faleen said getting up she walked over to a large desk and began to fiddle with the comm watch.

"Okay" I said

I got up and saw Shadow leave the room. I guessed he was checking on

Sarah. Over in the corner was a table with various stuff I've never seen before.

"Boy, Chris would give anything to be here now" I said with a chuckle.

2 things caught my attention as they glowed dimly. They were silver bracers with 7 green emeralds. In the top middle, they formed a circle around one in the middle. I picked them up as they emitted a low hum of power that I could feel.

"Those are power amplification bracers" Faleen said behind me making me jump. I turned around and saw her smiling at me. "You can have them if you want, they should make your powers more potent. And from the sound of things you'll need them."

"Cool. I can feel some of the power they are emitting." I reached out to pick them up when I heard Tyrant give a chuckle.

"Just wait until I break free next time boy."

I stopped reaching for them when Faleen spoke out, not to me, but to Tyrant as if she could hear him.

"Don't bet on it. Yes, I can hear you Tyrant. Those bracers will do more then just amplify his powers, but also magically bolster his will and improve his focus and concentration. Once he puts them on your going to find it much hard to assert any form of control over him, granted, they won't prevent you from taking control, but when you do...

Well I'm not one to ruin a surprise" she smiled evilly.

She turned her attention back to me as Tyrant went silent at that point.

"Trust me they'll help you, just be careful not to use all your power as it will tire you out. Also, use of high powered attacks like this Dragon Slave attack too much too often will burn them out." She went back to examining my watch then.

I trusted her for some reason as I picked them up and put my fists through them. Once they were both on they seemed too big but then shrank down to firmly fit my arms. They were made of a strange metal. They looked like the same type of metal that double door was made out of. They were very comfortable despite how tight they were. I felt a surge of power course through my body making me shiver. My mind also seemed to come to attention as if almost like I had a very slight caffeine buzz.

"I got it" I heard Faleen said.

I heard a door open as Shadow-mane walked in to where Faleen and I were as a portal opened showing my world.

"Is this it?" he asked

"Yeah, I recognize the surroundings. That's about a mile and a half from my place" I told him.

"Good, I got as close as I could to your home" Faleen said with a smile.

"Are you coming with me Faleen?" I asked.

"Oh no, my place is here. Plus, I need to check up on these stones and see if they are what I think they are. Besides, Shadow-mane doesn't need my help. And don't you think you should shift back to your anthro form?" she said as Shadow-mane realized he was still in that form of his.

Shadow-mane nodded as I watched his form get smaller and his colors turned a much lighter shade of gray. His head got a brown head fur that was mixed with red, white, and black, and his three foot long bushy tail had the same colors. I noted he had no head hair and stood just over six foot four. His body also started to form clothes, they took the form of black jeans, tennis shoes, a black tank top shirt and a black leather jacket.

"Will this do?" he asked as his ice blue eyes stared at me.

"Yeah you'll fit in perfectly" I said in amazement.

"My clothes are enchanted to disappear and reappear whenever I shift if you're wondering. Now shall we go?" he asked and I nodded.

"Ultimus if you want, you can come visit me" she said winking at me. "And yes from time to time I can be a bit of a slut. The things I could teach a young buck like you on how to please a female would blow your mind, and theirs."

"All right knock it off" Shadow said.

"Party pooper" Faleen said sticking her tongue out playfully.

"Let's go" I said wanting to get back home before my hormones got the better of me.

We both walked into the portal as we dissolved into tiny particles. Arriving back at my home world, we got assembled again.

"So how's Sarah doing?" I asked just to make conversation with him.

"She cried herself to sleep by the time I went to check on her. From the tale you told me and Faleen, I get the distinct impression your not on good terms with your parents, why?"

I knew he was trying to just talk but he struck a bad nerve when he asked that.

"Well let's see my father was possessed by a demon hell bent on destroying all life in the galaxy, my mother gave me away and I've not seen either of them for nearly 22 years. Then I get forced into the role of Captain Retard, protector of the universe. Why do you

think I'm not on good terms with them."

I stared him right in the eyes as my anger slowly grew. He just stood there thinking for a minute.

"The tricks of demons and devils are many, your father is not to blame. When your father first encountered Thanos, he most likely spoke with a forked tongue, lying to him, as he spoke, in his words he wove a mind altering enchantment to make your father believe him, and thus fall under his control."

His words hurt me and cut right to my soul as I started to turn away.

"You don't know..." That was a mistake turning away from him. Then next thing I knew he turned me to face him and gave me the scariest look I had ever seen. He had bared his fangs as his eyed glowed red snarling at me.

"Thanos played with your father's emotions all these years, enhancing them, making them more powerful then normal so he would fall more under his control." He had locked his eyes with me I could feel my blood turn to ice, and my anger build I could hear Tyrant goading me.

"Are you going to take that from him?" he laughed evilly.

I wanted to hurt him for what he had said, but then came a softer, calmer voice.

"He speaks with truth and great wisdom, hear him out I ask you" Ramza said calmly.

I was torn with indecision, anger, sadness, love, and hate, as I could only hear him out.

"I'd be willing to bet Thanos knew exactly were the light stone was all the time, and that he let your mother escape with you and the Chaos Stone. All because your father still loved you, the power of love is one of the most powerful forces in nature. It can even defy death it's self I have seen that. And the power of love between a parent and their child is extremely powerful. You saw me in that castle didn't you. I would kill anything, or be willing to die to protect my five cubs. Suppressing that level of love is most difficult, and when it came right to the point of your father freeing Thanos, I'm sure Thanos was scared that your father would realize what he was doing to his own flesh and blood and break his control."

I backed into a tree as he continued.

"From what you have told me of your father's actions and comments, it's clear to me he still loves you, when Thanos attacked and freed him from his control, the full realization hit him of what he had done, and had done to his son no less, hurt him so badly I can't even begin to imagine his pain. As for your mother, when she learned you had the Light Stone in your chest and your father was under the control of a demon who wanted that stone, she had no idea how deeply Thanos was controlling your father."

He growled at me as I hadn't even thought of it from another point of view other then my own. The anger I had was replaced with pain and I knew it was about to get worse. Tears streamed down my cheeks as he continued.

"Remember the night your father captured all your friends and you had used a copy to fool your father and free them. Let's say Thanos had complete and utter control of your father right from the start, what if your father had shown up with those ten creatures while you were still in diapers. Do you think your mother could have protected you? No, she couldn't and she knew it. How do you think I felt when I couldn't save my boy, Tommy when that demon raided the village I live in. There is only one animal in nature more dangerous then a parent protecting their offspring, that is a mother protective their offspring. But your mother couldn't protect you."

I looked away as he grabbed a hold of my neck and made me look at him right in the eyes, his anger was gone as his words cut me far deeper then any wound I had ever felt before.

"If I knew in my heart I could not protect my children, I'd send them away and hide them to protect them. That is what your mother did, she had lost her mate, and then her child. How many nights did she cry herself to sleep wanting to hold her baby? Be there when he spoke his first words, take his fist steps. She couldn't. She knew she couldn't dwell on it. She had to gather allies to keep your father from the stones and she gathered up your friends, including your mate Tasha."

By then I was openly sobbing and my body was trying to stand but I had collapsed in his arms as he was holding me tightly. He was right. How could I have been so stupid, but he continued.

"If anyone deserves your anger and hatred, its Thanos, he's the one who took your family away."

As he spoke of Thanos he was right, Thanos took my family away from me, I could feel my anger and rage just build once more as he spoke.

"Your anger is now rightly directed, but do not let this pain and hatred fill your heart."

He lifted my face so I could look him in the eyes.

"My parents were killed by vampires, my mother died in front of my eyes, my father never returned. I was filled with sadness, pain, and deep rage. In time, I was able to take revenge on the vampires who killed my parents. But my rage didn't end there, it had taken root and I never saw the monster I was becoming."

I could see the pain in his eyes as he helped me stand up.

"What good is it to defeat Thanos, if you let your anger and rage turn you into someone as evil as he is when you defeat him? The first step in unlocking the true power of the Light Stone and defeating Thanos and Tyrant, is letting go of that anger, pain, and rage. I know it's hard to do, it will take time but you can do it."

I collected myself as I took a deep breath, I wiped my eyes dry as I heard Tyrant taunting me.

"Ah breaks my heart. I'll be sure to torture your mommy and daddy very slowly right after that bitch of yours."

I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of a reply. Shadow-mane was right, I had to let go of the pain and anger.

"Are you always this wise?" I asked as he motioned me to lead on.

"I have my moments" he laughed before following me. "Now let's go find my son."

We headed off towards my home in hopes to find Shadow-mane's son. As we got closer, I couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. Shadow-mane sniffed the air and looked towards the hill over looking my home.

"I smell fire."

"Fire" I said before I spotted the black smoke rising in the air. "Oh my god."

I ran up the hill and looked down. What I saw made my heart sank as I saw my home on in ruins.

"No.." I said softly.

"Looks like they got attacked" Shadow-mane said as his eyes narrowed. "I also smell that demon here too." In a flash he assumed his werewolf form.

I ran down the hill non stop along side with Shadow-mane till I got to the door. Opening it, I saw people in bandages and some dead. Others were cleaning up the rubble from the aftermath.

"What happened? Where is everyone?"

"In the ER room. They're pretty banged up" one of the mechanics said, then just looked at Shadow-mane after that.

I ran down the hall to the ER and saw everybody in bandages. As soon as Shadow-mane entered they all tensed up in a defensive state.

"What the hell is that behind you?" Crystal said looking up at this huge werewolf. He drew his sword as did Tiger, Greywolf, and Venom

"My name is Shadow-mane. I'm here to help" he said calmly.

"He helped me get back here after my little trip" I said.

"How can we be sure he's not with Thanos?" Venom said.

"Simple, if it wasn't for him, you'd probably be dealing with Tyrant right now instead of me."

Everybody looked at one another then me as they relaxed some.

"What happened? Who did this?"

"Some guy in black came here and said something about evening the odds. Then he...he...." Tiger said before stopping, a single tear ran down his cheek he was trying to fight it back.

I looked around to find 2 people missing.

"Where are Tasha and Jenna?"

"He took them" Greywolf said. "He came out of this black mist and started to wreck havoc on us."

"Everything we tried didn't seem to work. It was like, he was a ghost. We never had a chance" Venom said.

I balled my fists angrily as I heard Tyrant laughing. I struggled with the anger trying to keep it from erupting.

"Looks like..."

"If you value your tongue, I suggest you shut up right now" I told him. "What about my mom and dad?"

"They're in there with Annabelle, They'll be fine" Crystal told me lifting a weight from my mind.

"I'm sorry Ultimus, I shouldn't..." Shadow-mane said as I cut him off.

"No you were right to talk some sense into me. For that I thank you."

He smiled as Greywolf came up to ask a question.

"I'll explain later after we get Tasha, Jenna, and Thomas back" I said.

"Who's Thomas?" Venom asked.

"My son" Shadow-mane said.

I looked over as Chris was wrapping Nicole's arm up when something shined dimly on his neck. I walked over as he stared at me looking at him.

"Hey man, I'm not gay."

"Shut up Chris, now's not the time for your jokes."

I reached for his neck and pulled off the item on his neck. It was a small coin with the same symbol that was on the door of the castle.

"It was Yang" I said angrily crushing the coin in my hand.

"Yes, it was me" Yang's voice echoed out. "I had to even the playing field for what my brother did."

"So wrecking my home is evening the playing field?"

"In a way, yes. After your friend destroyed ours."

"Where are Tasha and Jenna?"

An image appeared as we saw them in the same cage as Shadow's son. Everyone was taken back as I could hear Shadow growling.

"They are doing just fine" Yang said.

"What do you want?" I snapped.

"You."

"And I refuse?"

"Then I will let my brother have his way with them. More then likely they'll turn out as failed experiments."

I saw Yin approach the cage with a smile on his face. Shadow's son hugged Tasha tightly and cried. She wrapped her arms protectively around him.

"My brother takes great joy in his experiments, which means lots of pain and agony for the test subject."

"I swear, if even a single piece of fur is missing from any of them, when you die, you will regret it when you are taught the true meaning of pain by Canis" Shadow-mane growled.

"Then the choice is his. 3 for the price of 1. It's the sale of a lifetime. Besides, I know you want him out of there as much as he does" Yin said, his eyes locked on the cage.

"Where and when?" I said angrily, my anger getting the better of me, but I kept it focused. I wasn't about to let it build to point were I'd show it in anything other then my voice.

"Inverted Castle in Pashow Marshlands. Please hurry, I can only detain my brother for so long" Yang said as Yin started to laugh madly.

The image faded as I hit the wall making a huge dent. I turned and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" Shadow-mane asked.

"To give them what they want." I said looking at him.

"I'm going too. I owe them a world of pain" Shadow-mane said walking towards the door. I suddenly turned around and confronted him.

"Don't you dare lose control of that temper of yours after the lecture you gave me" I turned and began to walk out as I heard his reply.

"Touché'"

"Wait for us" Venom said getting up.

Yang watched as they all left and headed for the castle.

"They're on the way. Is everything ready Yin?"

Yin wasn't listening as he had Jenna tied up on a table with various instruments around.

"YIN!!!"

"What?" he said looking at Yang.

"They must be intact for the trade to happen."

"But I'm bored. I'll only take out her kidney" he said holding a scalpel.

"You will wait" Yang said sternly.

"Fine fine" Yin said.

He untied Jenna and tossed her back in the cage roughly. Tasha held her as she cried silently.

We arrived at the Inverted castle and looked at it. It was upside down as the shadow covered us from the full moon in the sky.

"Umm, how are we supposed to enter?" Greywolf asked.

"Good question" Crystal said looking around.

"Welcome to our domain. Please enter the door you see in front of you. We've prepared some entertainment for you" Yang's voice said.

A door appeared where the top of tower was imbedded in the ground.

"I guess we're using the front door" I said walking towards it.

As we got inside, the castle interior was not upside down, but right side up. I guess everybody has jokes to play on people. Shadow took a couple of steps forward sniffing the air.

"They're near, very near. Follow me."

"Why? You're probably going to lead us into a trap" Tiger said angrily.

"Tiger relax. He knows what he's doing" I said.

"How do we know? He comes here and says follow him like we are slaves or something. Who do you think you are?"

Shadow-mane turned and looked at him.

"Keep your focus pal. Don't lose control of your anger or else you could lose your head."

"Is that a threat?" Tiger said growling out baring his teeth challenging Shadow-mane, who remained calm despite the challenge.

"No. I've seen a lot of talented fighters get killed because they got so mad, their anger blinded them and they never saw the attack coming that killed them. Use your anger, let it give you strength and power, but never let it control you. Once you let it control you, it can drive you mad. I know, my rage almost turned me into a monster."

Tiger was fuming as the temperature around us dropped dramatically. His teeth grinded against each other as he glowed blue.

"Brother, stop this! He's right about your anger. And fighting each other is not going to get Jenna back" Greywolf said looking at him.

Tiger relaxed as the temperature returned to normal. His shoulders dropped and his ears lay flat on his head and looked away from Shadow-mane.

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be. We're both angry and want to fight anything that even look at us the wrong way. I know what you're going through inside. My son is in here and it's a battle to control my own rage. Thankfully, I vented most of my rage on some of the demon guards in their castle" Shadow said with a grin.

Tiger nodded and smiled.

"Come on, let's go."

We started our run through the castle. Along the way, we ran into various demons as most of the killing was done by an enraged Tiger and Shadow-mane. At the end of the hall were those same Adamantium double doors. They opened of their own accord as we saw the cage in the room as Yin and Yang were beside it clapping.

"Lovely show. Yin I do believe you are correct about this werewolf, he's no danger to us."

"Told you brother."

"Welcome" Yang finally said.

"You're right on time" Yin added.

"Release them" I said.

"But of course. First, you must enter the cage beside you. When you do, the cage door will open and your friends will be released" Yang said.

I looked at the cage then back at Yang and nodded my head.

"Ultimus, don't do this" Tasha said.

I hesitated slightly before walking inside. The cage slammed behind me as lightning shot through me as I passed out. It started to rise in the air before stopping some seven feet in the air.

"Now, release my son and the others!" Shadow-mane growled.

"A deal's a deal" Yang said as the cage door opened.

They ran out as everybody hugged each other.

"Are you okay?" Shadow asked his son.

"Yes, I'm fine. I was so scared."

"It's okay. You're safe now."

Tiger was showing his emotions as he hugged Jenna.

"Oh god Jenna, I'm sorry I couldn't help you back there."

"It's okay. The fact is you're here now."

Tasha looked up to see my cage as I laid there, not moving.

"What's going to happen to Ultimus?"

"Once Tyrant is extracted, he'll be my new experiment I have ready" Yin said with an evil smile.

"A trade is a trade. Now leave before we change our minds" Yang said.

"Faleen" Shadow-mane said out loud.

Faleen appeared in a flash of light and looked at Shadow-mane and his son.

"Take my son home."

"Of course. Come on Tommy, your mother's worried sick about you" Faleen said holding his hand as they both disappeared.

Shadow stood up and turned his attention to the twins.

"Didn't you hear what I said?" Yang said losing patience.

"I did. But your deal was with Ultimus, not me and I'm not about to leave him here" he said assuming a fighting stance, both katanas drawn and he readied for an attack.

"Very well. Then you shall be my first subject" Yin said.

"Just try it" Shadow said with a smile.

He brought his 2 katanas into an attack pose and charged Yin who just stood there and smiled. He ran up, jumped, and came down with a powerful overhead swing. Before the blow could connect, Yang appeared and deflected his attack with a powerful barrier. This stunned Shadow for a second giving Yin a chance to strike. Yin's fist glowed red as he

struck Shadow sending him flying into the wall creating a hole.

"Wow, now that's a knockout punch" Crystal said.

"I guess it's our time" Venom said.

"Yeah, its payback" Tiger growled.

They all went on the attack, throwing everything they had. But no matter what they did, they couldn't hit either Yin or Yang. It seemed like when they went for Yang, Yin would deflect everything and vice versa. Shadow didn't join in as he tried to warn them to stop their attack as they were met with the same fate he had gotten.

"Don't you understand?" Yin said glowing with a black aura. "You don't stand a chance."

Tiger stood up as the temperature dropped again.

"I've had enough of your mouth" Tiger snarled as ice formed around him. "I said I would pay you back for taking my mate, and now I'll keep my word."

Yin and Yang looked around as the walls started to get covered with ice.

"Now you will feel my anger, "Deep Freeze"."

A huge ice column shot from the ground encasing them both in ice. Both Yin and Yang had a look of surprise on their faces as they were trapped in ice. Tiger went to one knee out of breath, and energy.

"Not bad" Venom said.

"Yes, not bad at all" Yang's voice said.

The ice around them started to melt leaving a huge puddle on the ground. Tiger hit the ground angrily.

"Dammit, that was the best thing I could think of."

"I must admit that caught us off guard" Yin said squeezing some of the water out of his cloak. "But now, it's my turn."

The ground vibrated a little as Yin got covered in a dark red fire.

"The game is over when you hear the bang, "Explosion Array"."

He held his hand up as the fire gathered into a ball. He slammed his hand down as the ball went into the ground. Soon, a huge red circle appeared under Tiger. Shadow-mane saw the circle and knew what was about to happen, he ran at Tiger to knock him out of the way just as Yin snapped his fingers, Yin caused a volcanic like eruption that enveloped both Shadow-mane and Tiger. Shadow-mane hit Tiger as he screamed out in agony but was able to knock him out of the pillar of fire as he crashed into the wall and fell onto the ground covered in the fire.

"No" Jenna yelled as she ran over and started to put out the fire on Tiger's thrashing body as Shadow-mane took the full attack that ended with an explosion.

"Damn fool" Yin dusting his hands. That's when he stopped as the smoke cleared Shadow-mane was unscathed. "Maybe I underestimated this guy."

"Or maybe I'm wearing a magic ring that utterly protects me from all forms of fire, acid, cold, sound, and electrical attacks" Shadow-mane smiled as a ring on his left hand was glowing brightly before fading as Yin shouted out.

"That's cheating!" He was now more pissed then ever.

"Since when do demons fight fair? Jenna catch!" he said tossing a bottle to her as she caught it, having stopped trying to get Tiger to stop thrashing about in pain. "Make him drink that it will take away most of his pain and help heal some of his injuries" He said as she did her best to get Tiger to drink the bottle as Shadow-mane positioned himself between the twins and Tiger.

My hand twitched as I let out a groan of discomfort. My body didn't want to move as I sat up disoriented. Yang looked up and smiled.

"Well well, looks like the sleeper has awakened."

"Just in time to see everybody die" Yin added.

I looked down to see everybody over Tiger's burned and blackened body, slowly stop thrashing, as Jenna made him drink something down. Touching the cage got a shot of lightning through me.

"Shall we put on a good show for him?" Yin asked looking at Yang.

"Sure. I don't mind having an audience watching" Yang said with a

smile.

I watched as the fight was about to continue. Things weren't looking so good.

"They have no chance of beating the shadow brothers" Tyrant said.

"Everybody has a weakness."

"Yours is that little bitch, which I will take full pleasure in raping before utterly destroying her."

Everybody was fuming as they watched Yin and Yang laugh evilly.

"Everybody listen to me" Shadow-mane said standing up. "I'm going after Yin. The rest of you, go after Yang."

"Of course. They can't be in 2 places at once" Greywolf said.

"Exactly" Shadow-mane said with a smile as his katana glowed brightly. "Eventually, they will tire out. Once they do, they will fall."

They all got up and stood ready. Shadow-mane took off first after Yin.

"You tried that trick before" Yin said with a smile.

Yang appeared in front of Yin with his barrier ready. Just as he did, Venom, Crystal, and Greywolf appeared next to Shadow-mane and went for Yang. Yin saw this and went in front of Yang putting up his barrier. Shadow-mane's attack connected with Yin's barrier and went right through it. Yin managed to move in time but still got a deep gash in

his shoulder. He screamed in pain as he felt the power of 'Icestorm' Shadow-mane's other sword as he felt the Holy power inside of it hurt him even more.

"YIN" Yang said turning his head.

"Worry about yourself" Greywolf said as they all converged on Yang.

Yang turned back around and confronted them. But without the help of his brother, they soon overpowered him as both he and Yin were backed up against the wall.

"Now who's laughing?" Venom said holding his sword ready.

Yin and Yang closed their eyes and started to laugh madly.

"You still don't realize who we are, do you?" Yin said.

"I must admit, you guys are pretty good. But now, it's time to end this little game" Yang said.

"I couldn't agree more brother" Yin added.

They both glowed red as the ground shook around them.

"We've only been playing around with you up until now."

"Now the game is over."

They both let out a yell as a red beam shoot up from the ground under them. The beams connected as they began to glow.

"Everybody back, get back." Shadow-mane yelled out.

Slowly they began to merge into one entity. When they merged, a black cloud appeared as a large skull took shaped where they had been and started laughing.

"We are Yin, we are Yang, and we are one."

The skull cloud disappeared as their new body became visible. They were taller and more powerful looking almost 10 foot tall. Black scales covered their back as white covered their chest. 2 tails were moving in tandem behind their back. Blue hair covered the top of their head as they had a different color eye looking at them. The left one was white while the right was red.

"They merged together" Crystal said looking at the behemoth in front of them. Fear filling the hearts of Venom, Greywolf, Crystal, Tasha, Jenna, myself and Tiger who was now watching the scene unfold.

"There is no Yin. There is no Yang. There is only us, Omega."

Everybody stood ready as Omega's started towards them. Each step shook the castle floor. Greywolf was already about ready to make a run attack when a sideways held katana at face level stopped him.

"They are a pair of Onconin demons, able to combine their forms. Their power has more then doubled, maybe even tripled. This creature is more powerful then any of you save me."

"You?" Greywolf said in disbelief.

"He's right. We couldn't handle one of the two who attacked us. We stand no chance of defeating both of them combined" Crystal said coming up to Greywolf.

"Stay back all of you, you'll only get in the way."

We all watched as Shadow-mane and Omega approached each other. Omega's hands glowed bright red.

"Time to die."

Omega took the first attack, lashing out at Shadow-mane's head with blinding speed. Shadow-mane was faster though, dropping his swords he ducked the attack with inches to spare. Shadow-mane counter attacked opening his large right hand he spread his clawed fingers and thrust upward allowing his razor sharp claws to slice into Omega's flesh

leaving five long slash marks across his belly and chest that quickly filled with blood.

Caught completely by surprise Omega staggered backwards holding his bleeding chest as he roared in pain and surprise, Shadow-mane continued his motion and assault as he spun around taking one step forward as he suddenly brought his left leg up and kicked with every ounce of his strength. His leg snapped forward and connected with Omega's chest as he was knocked back into the wall with a tremendous force that cracked the wall as he hit. He saw a huge block of stone that must have weighed at least five hundred pounds, he picked it up with two hands and then with one hand threw it right at Omega who had recovered just in time to have it impact right in his chest knocking him through the wall.

"Impossible" I heard Tyrant say with disbelief.

Shadow-mane turned his attention to us as we all just stood there watching like idiots.

"Get Ultimus out of that cage and get out of here, I'll deal with this asshole!" he yelled, just as we heard Omega yell out.

"Shadow Blast!"

A thick ray and jet black energy blasted out of the hole Omega was knocked through and struck Shadow-mane just as he turned to face Omega. The force of the blast knocked him back into a wall as he howled in pain and shock. The wall was cracked as he hit it then he hit the ground and shook his head regain his senses just as Omega lunged at him. Scrambling to his feet Shadow-mane met Omega in mid lunge as the two tore into each other with tooth and claw like a pair of rabid animals.

Our attention was refocused on my position as Venom ran up and grabbed a hold of the cage before I could warn him not to, as he was shocked away. I had extended my hand to try and warn him when I saw and remembered the bracers Faleen had given me.

"Get back all of you" I yelled out.

They did as I said as I charged my power and I reared my fist back and struck the cage door as it shatter the entire cage to pieces. I fell to the ground and stood up to look at Shadow-mane was still fighting as strong as before.

He had taken dozens of slashes, bites, and punches. His fur was soaked in his blood but looked in better condition then Omega who had also been bitten, clawed, and punched. I could tell that in terms of strength, speed, and fighting prowess, they were pretty evenly matched, but Omega could project energy attacks, Shadow-mane couldn't, finally I yelled out to Shadow.

"Shadow I can destroy him. Just keep him occupied a little bit longer."

"No problem" Shadow-mane said as he took a vicious blow to the face with Omega's claws.

"What are you going to do?" Tasha asked.

"The only thing I can think of. Stand back, I have no idea how powerful this will be."

I held my hands up as the bracers glowed again, covering me in a green glow. Closing my eyes, I started to recite the chant of the "Dragon Slave". The ring of power appeared but was bigger and brighter. My hair was blowing straight up as a vortex of power surrounded me.

"That isn't going to work" Tyrant said laughing.

"You never know until you try. Shadow-mane, get clear!"

Shadow-mane jumped out the way leaping back as he grabbed a hold of his swords as Omega looked at me.

"Eat this. "Dragon Slave"."

Boy did that attack have its kick amplified, I got sent flying towards the wall. An immense dark blue energy beam shot forward with intense speed. Omega looked on as he formed a barrier of black smoke. The attack connected as Omega started to slide back little by little.

"This is impossible" he said.

I applied more power as the beam got bigger. The barrier started to crack as Omega snarled angrily, weakened by the fight with Shadow-mane, combined with the enhancing powers of the bracers Faleen gave me, I was able to over power him. Hell if he hadn't been weakened I seriously doubted I would have been able to over power him on my own, even with the bracers.

"We are Omega. We cannot be defeated. It is not possible."

"Sorry to...disappoint...you. But every...game has...an ending. Just like my favorite card in Monopoly says: Go directly to jail."

Pushing more power into it, the bracers turned red as smoke began to rise from them as the barrier around Omega broke as the attack engulfed him completely. He let out a roar before a tremendous explosion covered his body in a giant dome that expanded rapidly, causing the castle to crumble around us.

"Everybody out" Shadow-mane yelled after having grabbed his swords and put them away he ran over picking up Tiger's prone body as Venom picked me up once he saw I had hit the ground and we headed to the door.

The castle's interior began to crumble as debris rained down on top of us. Tasha made a barrier around everybody as bricks bounced off it. Making it outside, we turned and watched as the castle began get sucked into the dome. The dome got smaller as it sucked the remaining debris inside before disappearing with a bang.

"Impressive display of power" Shadow-mane panted out looking as I was totally spent. "If they survived that, I'd be surprised."

"And if they did?" Jenna asked as he set Tiger down.

"You all, will never see or hear from them again. When Yin took a hold of my son by the fur, he pissed someone off who is a hell of a lot more powerful they could possibly imagine."

"Amplified "Dragon Slave" I said once I got some of my breath back.

I realized a pack of some type was around Shadow-mane's waist blending in perfectly with his fur. He began pulling four or five bottles holding that blue liquid and began to make Tiger drink each one down. Slowly Tiger began to heal, with each bottle he improved a good deal. It took five bottles before he couldn't drink any more. He still had some burns on him but it was clear he'd be ok.

"You were right I let my anger get the better of me" he said shamefully to Shadow-mane. "I let my anger get the better of me with my attack..."

Shadow-mane stopped him. "You learned your lesson, without losing your life, be grateful for that."

He smiled as he handed everyone a green bottle as I told them it would help restore our energy. After drinking down those bottles we headed for home and made damn good time getting there.

Once we got there and got Tiger in the ER everyone listened to what had happened from everyone's point of view as they gave their version of the events. Mom had a couple cuts on her forehead as dad's right arm was in a sling. Mom was trying to get him to stay and join our group, hell everyone wanted him to stay after what he did. But as much as he wanted to stay he couldn't, explaining he needed to get back home to care for Sarah, and his cubs. He told us he had other responsibilities that demanded his attention as well. He promised that if he could return and help us battle Thanos he would, but due to the nature of his responsibilities he couldn't promise and that we should not expect him to return, and make our plans accordingly.

The place was still under heavy work but still livable. Tiger was in the ER resting with Annabelle watching over him when Faleen appeared to take Shadow-mane back home.

"You find out anything about these stones Faleen?" I asked.

"Yes I did, I have time to tell you..." She was interrupted by Shadow-mane

"You don't need my help with this do you?" he smiled clearly eager to get home to his family.

"No, I'll send you home" she said as she raised her right arm with her hand limply held before she gave a jerk of her hand and a snap of her delicate fingers as a hole appeared out of thin air and I came up to Shadow-mane to say good-bye.

"Will we meet again?" I asked.

"Who knows? Maybe we will, maybe we won't. Canis willing I'll be back to help you deal with Thanos soon" Shadow-mane said.

"That's the second time you've said that name, who is this Canis?" I asked, I had to admit I was curious about who he was.

Shadow-mane thought for a second, "We all have a master to whom are bound in service to a degree. He is mine." That shocked me as Venom spoke up.

"You don't strike me as type who would ever bow to a master" He smiled as Faleen interjected.

"Our service to Canis is a very complex one. Speaking of Canis, he and Sarah are waiting for you, and he needs to talk to you after you get some rest and I'm there, now get going" Faleen told him.

He nodded as I told him "Well, if you ever want to visit, you're more then welcomed" I said holding my hand out.

"I just may do that" he said shaking it then winking at both Tasha and Jenna who blushed. "Until next time Ultimus. Maybe I'll show Tasha and Jenna a few things about how to please a male." That made them blush even brighter and cover their mouths.

He walked into the portal as it closed with a snap of Faleen's fingers.

"Now to your question, I have discovered much. Much more then I anticipated. I have discovered things about these stones that not even Lord Soa knew was true, and things he never told anyone, even Thanos about. I can not tell you anything of what I have learned sadly" she spoke softly. I felt more then a bit disappointed.

"We need all the information we can get on these stones, and how to use their power to destroy Thanos and Darkstar" my mom said more then a bit angry. I understood her anger, hell everyone was a bit upset. What Faleen said next floored us all she narrowed her eyes at my mother and spoke.

"I am more then twelve hundred of your Earth's years old, for over nine hundred of those years I have studied arcane magic and many of it mysteries. My powers rival those of Thanos himself, I have learned things that would drive you insane, and things that even your madness would not protect you from. I once came across a child gifted with

magic like few others are."

"His mother was a mortal female like you, his father however was a demon, I could tell just by looking at him, even though he had no outward showing signs, I am that wise. I knew the evil that ran through his veins, he was mentally unstable, and I took him for my apprentice. He was six years old, when he left his mother I knew it would take years before he was ready to learn the truth of his father. He asked me many times about his father, I told him I would rather say nothing then lie to him. That he was not ready for the knowledge I had."

That put my mother back as Faleen spoke her tale, "With a careful hand I was able to lead the boy away from the darkness of his own soul, and into the light. I had kept a journal on him, noting his progress, attitude, nature. But he still remained a bit unstable mentally slowly it was getting stronger though. Until he got into my private study and found that journal and learned the truth. I don't know exactly what happened, but something in him snapped and he was driven insane. The evil took full hold and he ran away. Some forty years later he returned, completely insane, and utterly evil as the demon who impregnated his mother."

"His insanity had completely rewritten his past and thought I had used him as some lab experiment, and tried to destroy me. I couldn't reason with him, I was forced to destroy him."

A sudden clapping sound caught our attention as we all turned to see Zalbag standing there with over twenty creatures that looked like living shadows. He was smiling with

an evil gaze in his eyes.

"Wonderful story, Master Thanos extends an invitation for Faleen to join him in his castle and reveal these secrets of the stones to him. He will not accept no for an answer" he snapped his fingers. "Get her."

At that instant the area around them exploded with a bright light as Zalbag screamed in pain and agony. The screams of the shadow creatures were short lived as they were killed instantly. The blast was nearly blinding as we were all forced to cover our eyes and turn away as the blast rose it the air and then exploded once more as Zalbag dropped to the ground badly hurt but alive as we turned to look at him. Faleen who was next to us disappeared as her voice came from the forest as she said reappearing from some hidden location or from being invisible.

"Did you think I'd be stupid enough to not use a illusion to divert your attention, or truly send Shadow-mane away? Would you like to finish him off Shadow-mane?"

"Yes I would" Shadow-mane said appearing slowly out of thin air with both of his swords drawn, he formed an 'x' over his chest as he chanted, "Icestorm, Woebringer, hear me, combine your powers and form "Heaven's Vengeance."

He brought the hilts of his swords together as they started to glow brightly and merged into one massive blade that looked like it was made from pure light.

"Time to die Zalbag."

Still in his combat form lunged at Zalbag, he looked at Shadow-mane with pure terror as he cried out.

"Master help!"

Seconds before Shadow-mane's attack hit Zalbag disappeared in a flash of light as we all heard Thanos laughing echoing around us. Shadow-mane's blade slammed into the ground as it exploded. Yanking his blade out of the ground he spun around looking.

"Show your self coward!" he said with his tail lashing out as Thanos continued to

laugh. He was eager to fight Thanos.

A giant image of Thanos appeared above us showing him sitting in a throne made of bone, drinking from a skull that had been made into a goblet, as he spoke.

"Impressive display of power Faleen, between you and Shadow-mane you two might have the power needed to defeat me" he said taking a drink from the canine shaped skull.

"Why don't you show up and find out Thanos" Faleen said, these two were trying to get him pissed off to come and attack, they were either suicidal or very powerful. I was hoping it was the latter.

"Why don't you two come here?" he said snapping his fingers as a portal opened up in front of us.

"And give you the home field edge, think again" Shadow-mane retorted.

Thanos just laughed. "I give you this victory boy" he said turning his eyes to me. "I have already decided your fate now. When I have decided I've had enough of you, I will swoop down, rip the Light Stone from your chest, and heal your wounds. Then I'll extract Tyrant and teleport you and your pathetic group into my dungeons and allow Tyrant to torture them all at his leisure. You will be forced to endure watching and feeling all their pain and suffering as if it was done to you. That bitch of yours however I'll turn into my own fuck slave. Enjoy what little time you have left."

The image and the portal vanished as I was shaking in anger as I felt Tyrant laughing as loud as he could. Then I felt a burst of energy hit me, stunning me some and distracting

me from my anger, and Tyrant's laughing.

"Hey Tyrant, when I learned about these stones and their history, I learned I could do this" Faleen said, as she targeted me with some spell that was a pure white light that leaped from her index finger and struck me square in the chest as Tyrant's laughing turned to a near deafening scream of agony, the scream was short as I suddenly couldn't feel him anymore as a blue bolt raced along the white light knocking me back.

I nearly fell down as everyone rushed to help me as my mom demanded,

"What did you do to my son!"

"Your son can hear Tyrant speaking to him, I can also hear him. He's held in by four mystic seals that shock him when ever he struggles against them, I used a spell to active them and to increase the power of the shock ten fold. Effectively I knocked him out, that blue pulse should serve as a type of gag. You shouldn't have to worry about him for a good couple of days at least" she said coming over as I stood up. "Now where was I, my apprentice was driven mad by knowledge that he wasn't ready for. The knowledge I have could start your son down the road to madness. It's every bit as dangerous, ignorance at this time is a gift. But I can give him wisdom" she said coming over to me.

"Do not let these stones corrupt you. If you defeat Thanos and destroy Darkstar, hide them, take them to the deepest ocean, the hottest volcano, under the highest mountains. You can use them to help the world, but remember what happened with Lord Soa. Thanos was corrupted and you have tasted evil with Murphy's help. The power of all these stones will drive any mortal mad, because mortals are not meant to have power of that level. You lack the intelligence and the wisdom at your current age to prevent that madness" she said running her hand along my cheek, her fur was very soft as she looked at me with her dark blue crystal eyes.

"Shadow-mane and I must go now, but don't worry I'll keep an eye on all of you" She said as Shadow-mane interrupted.

"Hey Faleen, I've decided to hang out here for a while and wait for that lunatic to show up."

"No you are not. Canis has ordered you to return with me. He will explain in person, and he has never given you an order before" she said with a demanding tone looking at him with anger as Shadow-mane's ears laid down and he was clearly surprised.

"I understand and will go" he said coming over to me. "You're a lot stronger then you think Ultimus. I have been thinking about Thanos and these stones. He uses the stones the way you use your bracers. They are his weakness. Find a way to sever him from them."

"Easier said then done Shadow-mane" I said crossing my arms.

"Call me Shadow. When I fight an enemy who's a lot more powerful then I am, I never engage them directly. I always look for a way to use their power and then turn it against them in some way."

I scratched my chin thinking on what he said when Venom asked, "Like a mirror?"

"I'm an idiot" Greywolf said. "Reflection Force, it's very old, but it's has the power absorb some of an enemies attacking power and then reflect it back at them. If anyone alive knows about it or how to teach it, it will be Skorp, I'll leave at once to get him." He then turned and began running to the hanger.

"And with it being his own power, he should not be able to defend against it" Faleen said smiling. "Now we must go."

She made a few gestures with her hand as a portal opened up and she smiled.

"Good luck, and may all the gods of light help you."

She turned and walked through it before Shadow-mane joined her, but not before looking back at us. I could see it in his eyes, he wanted to stay, but his master had pulled his leash. After he walked through the portal snapped shut sealing their world from ours.

"What are we standing around for? There's a birthday party waiting to happen, and now we have even more to celebrate" my mom said with a smile.

"I have a lot to think about Jenna so I won't be there" I said coming up to her and kissing her on the cheek. "Happy birthday, now you all have a good time, I need to think about what has happened and some time alone" I said walking off.

I knew everybody would have had a good time despite the fact that the half the conference room was missing. I sat under my "thinking" tree by the lake. The full moon was shining brightly as it cast its reflection on the still lake surface, it was much brighter then normal tonight for some reason. There was something else too, I felt safe, protected. Like I was a little boy safe and sound in my grandmother's arms during a terrible thunderstorm. I looked up at the bright moon as I could feel the light.

"Very interesting guy. I wouldn't mind doing a little sparring with him. He could teach a couple of things. You may as well come out, I can feel you Crystal" I said with a smile.

He turned a corner letting me see him smiling.

"So what do you think of our new friends?" I asked him.

"Powerful, wise, and cunning. Shadow-mane was clearly impressed with you. I could also tell he's not one easily impressed. He is also indebted to you" he said calmly.

"What makes you say that?"

"You gave yourself up freely for Tasha, Jenna, and his son. I did not expect those two to honor their bargain, but they did. Without that who knows what could have happened, his son might have been killed. He was not about to leave you there, he wanted to free you, but you got yourself free."

"Anything else Crystal?"

"Yes, they gave me something priceless, Hope. When your father freed Thanos, I had no real hope of us defeating him even with your help" he said shamefully. "Still after encountering them and the wisdom they gave us, I feel there is a chance we can win with at least some of us surviving. I want you to know I never thought about joining Thanos, and if it could save your life or buy you the time you'd need to destroy Thanos, I'd do anything even if it cost me my life, we all would" he told me.

"And Shadow-mane and Faleen?" I asked.

"Those two are different. It's an instinctive knowledge. I get the feeling their involvement was not part of whatever cosmic plan of dealing with Thanos there was. There is something about Shadow-mane, something chaotic. When a person moves I have the power and training to read their movements and predict where they are going to move or

attack. This allows me to block and counter attack with some degree of success. He was different. I got nothing but a jumble of messages from him. I tried to focus of his movement during his fight with Omega. It felt as if he was the center of a swirling vortex of chaos, then something blocked what I felt, there was nothing for me to feel. The same thing that blocked my power, is with us now."

"Interesting" I said thinking more of that as I threw a stone into the water. "I can feel something too, I've not felt like this since I was being held by my grandmother when I was five and scared of a thunderstorm. She made all my fear disappear when she held me. I thought it was just me."

"No we all felt it, and it's coming from the moon. Also I fear Shadow-mane's involvement has set into motion things that can no longer be controlled, by us or Thanos."

"Could you teach me how to read someone's movements?" I asked.

"I can but it would take time, time I fear we do not have. After you learn this Reflection Force, I will do what I can to teach you. Now you had said something about him giving you a lecture about anger and losing your temper, what was that about?"

I told him almost word for word what Shadow-mane said about my parents and Thanos. I was a bit in tears telling that tale to him.

Crystal smiled and then began to laugh.
