Furegon Genesis Part 5 Conquest Of Furegon. Pt1 By, Charrio (Charles Uriarte)

Furegon had been under watch for years before the first Colony ship was even started. Probes and sattilites launched from human vessels had been keeping a passive watchful eye on the world below. Taking their time as the Colony ships were being constructed to look this planet over long and hard. Noting any cities or areas of population, they started to gather the planetary sense of races and species.

Humans had not seen Anthropomorphic animals before, none other then their own constructs, Skupples and Canids. The animals on Furegon were of several different species and origin all competing for the same world. Something like it had been seen in early evolution where one species starts to rise to intelligence. Several mutations or varients struggling for the same goal, Survival and growth.

On Furegon however several different species were somehow all past the intelligence hump of evolution and well into the nomadic tribal phases of the world. Humans were not about to make the same mistake they had on Euquine, they were gathering more and more data each rotation. The new sattilites were quite advanced, each carrying it's own A.I. (Artificial Intelligence).

With the new Live-Sattilites as they called them since they each reacted as a living intelligence, they could see and map out the growth of the races below. Using scans and feeding data to eachother they quickly built a territorial map of the planet, noting the largest population centers.

It was over 6 months before the first Human vessels arrived, these were human defensive ships six in total. Since Euquine the humans have become way more aggressive about their defense as they are in a belief that if you hesitate and fear then the enemy will have the advantage.

Even though there was no immediate threat they would not allow a inncident like before to ever happen. Euquine was lost to them, as keeping a ground presence on a world that makes your fears and nightmares come real is not an option for a species that feeds that madness. The ships took up orbits around the planet and interfaced with the satellites.

Their job was to wait and assist the Colony ships in route, the waiting ships were packed with sensors and automated probes to be sent in mass gathering samples. Samples were then to be broken down mapping the DNA and catagorizing the Genomes. These samples were to be used to better crops or medicine for humanity and it's hungry masses.

Masses made up of Humans, Skupples and Canids, the three all sharing the same few moons and World. They were in no danger of lacking manpower or technology as their world was bristling with new colonists. Furegon was to be their new colony, regardless of any people who lived there or stood in their way.

Euquine had frightened the Humans and they reacted by developing weapons and defenses they probably wouldn't of reached for at least a century. Skupples and A.I.s worked constantly creating new devices.

Some defensive, some terrible weapons that they would never consider usinig on a human ship or settlement. These were the extinction event or world killers they had made. Massive rings in a row, each a magnetic accelerator. Astroids directed into the master ring, which was larger and held the control center. The astroid would be flung at terrible speed impacting the target.

Euquine had two such world killers, one was now drifting to Furegon. Only fired a dozen times causing massive destruction. One empty moon was scarred and rotation changed from the force of the impacts.

The Colony ships arrived on schedule, Humans were adamant it go smoothly. With all the advances it was going to be an easy acquisition, tribes held no threat to a Type-4k disintegration cannon.

Taking two days to prep and test the Droids and Power-Armor, the Humans paranoia had drove them to discard the light spacesuits they previously wore of Euquine. The new armor was 10ft tall and armored like a tank. It's weapons built to change configuration altering to the needs versus an enemy.

Prepped and ready the giant Colony ships launched their drop ships, ordered to clear a landing area and subdue and hostils if they appear. No excessive agressive actions as the natives were to be absorbed not eradicate them.

Canids, Skupples and Humans had already been inoculated for the local diseases. The waiting battleships deployed the drones and they sped down to the planet. The data coming up was like a delicious buffet for the A.I.s as they were sentient. Skupples had invented the intelligent programs long ago and with such tools helping Humans soared upward in science and construction capabilities.

Landing with a blaze of light the drop ships were broken up into four areas as each massive Colony ship will need a space to expand as the colony grows. They dropped in various favorable locations, near water and other resources they would require. The Anthros watching the fearful sight of the ships landing made many run in terror leaving their camps and dens.

The trees and all the underbrush had to be cleared, Canids and Skupples went to work as the Humans in Power-Armor leveled the clearing. The Anthros were terrified and curious too, watching and hidden, or so they thought. Humans had drones and sensors constantly going, another paranoia attribute. They knew they were being watched and as long as no aggressive action was taken to let them be.

It only too a few days to prepare the sites, the Canids and Skupples worked tirelessly as they were designed to do. Humans constructed Skupples and Canids to be a servant race, in time they became their companion race. Humans and Canids and Skupples married and even had children using "Gene-Labs". These labs were places where couples could have a child where normally the could not due to incompatible DNA. This was fixed with the aid of the labs, using both parents genes a child could be made. Some picked the breed of the parents, Human or Construct, many let the labs decide as not knowing made it more precious.

The Anthros were all watching as the four Colony ships burned their way down out of the atmosphere from space. The ships were massive, gigantic in size and intended to be the seed of a city to be. The four ships were, Charvallis, Hope, Birth-Valley and the Elvton. All four cities themselves and bristling with advanced construction tools and factories for what was needed.

Landing crews had seen many Anthros on surveillance vids and a few passing between trees. The A.I.s were studying them and had deteremined them to be rather intelligent, more so then the most average Canids. The four Colony ships were in constant communication as the drones and ships in orbit relayed data and communications.

The decision was made to contact the natives in a freindy manner and offer minor gifts such as lighters and Machettes tools one that their civilizations could use easily. Skupples and a few Canids were chosen to make the contact. As the natives where Anthro, Constructs were the best choice as first contact.

The skupples chosen were small, no more the a foot and a half high as to be as non threatening as possible. The Canids were tankers, bred for size and strength. They stood eight foot high and easily ran on all fours. In the war they were the strike teams, now they were commanders and Hunters removing terrorist threats. The Skupples were eager and quite ready to make new friends.

The new day brought the cool air of morning and the order to go out and seek the nearest Anthro settlement. They set off to seek the locals and establish contact, not knowing they would change the world forever.
