#1 of College Life 2

Alright, I am sure to be hearing some complaints to how I will have skipped over a lot of the details in my adventures with Brian and a few other friends but I have come to realize that writing my real life story is not as appealing as just tweaking some aspects of it. Anyway, Jake is in his junior year now, he is 20 years old and a litter bit buffer than he was last year. His likes and tastes have changed a bit as he matured. I hope you keep reading to find out how much he has changed in a year.

"Jake! I will not have you sleeping in this classroom" shouted the stallion that the young wolf had come to know and respect over the past year.

"Huh?" The black wolf lifted his head and shook it groggily. He had been bogged down with papers and projects for the past couple weeks and had slept less than 6 hours in the past two days.

"Glad you could join us Mr. Kowalski" the stallion said with a minor grin as the canid slumped in his seat trying to stay cognoscente for the rest of the lecture on Minoan history.

Truth be told, Jake liked Dr. Giuseppe a lot but the work load from his other classes seemed to be bearing down on him at the end of his junior year at Pawsen U. He already had to withdraw from one of his classes just to survive the semester with head fur intact. He had come to find interest in this History class though. It might have just been how the grey stallion seemed to really care about the young wolf.

As his thoughts drifted Jake's eyes did as well and planted his view firmly on the crotch of his equine professor. He licked over his large canines without thinking and then blushed when he saw the professor giving him an odd look. His ears began to pin themselves to his head when a loud slam made the room echo!

"Oh shit sorry dad! My damn alarm clock didn't go off and then there was traffic and-

"Just sit down Aaron. I will speak with you in private after class" the professor stated blandly to an almost mirror image of himself.

It was 30 minutes into the 50 minute lecture; even the wolf had not been that disrespectful on his worst days. Jake's eyes crossed to the disruptive stallion with contempt even though his outburst saved him from the embarrassment. Aaron had always been a bully to a lot of smaller guys on campus, especially the ones he caught eyeing him in gym class. Any openly gay fur knew to stay away from Aaron because failure to do so would only end badly. Brian had been hassled a couple of times in the past year until Jake finally stood up to Aaron at a party. Needless to say a fight broke out and it end up with both lupine and equine in the pool.

The class finished without any further interruption and Jake felt he knew material like the back of his paw despite falling asleep during the beginning. The wolf shifted and stretched in his chair, one paw reaching back to ruffle his dark head fur. His head fur was a bit long but he liked it this way until it got too hot for the summer. Thoughts of the bright sun and the vast ocean distracted him away from packing his backpack. However, his dreams of the future were rudely interrupted when Aaron pushed past him roughly gritted his teeth and letting his wispy tail give the lupine a swat.

"Watch it fag" Aaron said through his teeth as he bounded to the front of the room and out the front door, completely ignoring his father's efforts to speak with him.

Jake sighed and gathered some of papers spilt in the brush with Aaron but found a grey hand helping collect them as well.

"Sorry about that." The professor said softly, a tone that surprised Jake.

"Not a problem professor" the wolf said smiling slightly as he fit the papers into his bag and pushed it onto his shoulders. "Some people just have not learned proper manners yet. I believe he will in time though"

With that the stallion grinned "Well I am glad someone has hope for him besides me. I was beginning to wonder" he chuckled softly and Jake joined in as well.

The wolf's ears perked and he looked at his cell phone. "Oh shoot I am late!" Jake began to walk out the door when he heard the professor clear his throat behind him. He turned expectantly and was met by a friendly gaze from the Stallion.

"Now I cannot let you go without assuring myself that you sleeping in my class will not continue" he said sternly even with the slight grin on his face.

The black wolf blushed deeply as he tried to escape the piercing eyes of his professor. He couldn't lie to those crystal blue eyes and say he wasn't ever going to do it again. He sighed and looked up from the equine's muscular chest to stare him eye to eye.

"Sorry sir it won't happen again" Jake said as his shoulders slumped

The stallion saw this reaction and frowned. His tone changed to one of sympathy and worry as he backpedalled on his decision to tease the wolf.

"Oh no no. Just try to keep from talking at least, it disturbs the class. Brian is sure to find out some of his classmates know some rather intimate details about the golden retriever." The professor blushed softly as he had said too much.

Jake froze "I.....talked..in my sleep? His eyes were wide and staring at the equine in disbelief.

"Well....yeah....sorry I should have woken you sooner it took a while to wake you from whatever dream you were having" the blush had not left the professor's cheeks as he looked down at his hoofed feet. "But I know you are extremely exhausted from the load and I had some thoughts."

"Hmmm? What about?" Jake said freeing his posture up as the embarrassment faded to curiosity. He noticed the blush on his professor's cheeks and wondered if the stallion was as uncomfortable discussing this as he was hearing about it.

"Well....I have some experience with handling big loads of homework and I was wondering if you would like to stop by my office once a week for some pointers." Dr Giuseppe said, returning to his lectern, where he read off the PowerPoint during the classes.

After a moment of thought the lupine spoke.

"Umm...that would actually help a lot sir" Jake said nodding "When should I come?"

"Well my office hours have been screwed up with all my classes lately but I am free around 4 pm on Mondays or late on Thursdays. Those fit your schedule?"

"Sure I will see you this coming Thursday then. And....Thanks a lot Dr. Giuseppe. I appreciate this truly." The wolf said smiling shyly.

The tall stallion smiled back, placing a large hand on the wolf's shoulders as he escorted him to the door.

"Not at all Jake. I appreciate your efforts. I know how hard it is to take a large load" he chuckled softly as he patted the lupine on the back. "You are late though and I have to go teach my next class. I will see you Thursday" the stallion then turned and grabbed his shoulder bag, walking out of the room with the wolf.

"Yes sir! Thanks again. See you Thursday" the wolf yelled out as he ran down the hallway already 10 minutes late for his Spanish class. As his paw pads gripped the cold tiles for a good grip his mind switched into Spanish mode. "Hoy no es mi día pero quizás mi suerte estará cambiado"

For all those who do not speak Spanish the last quote means:

"Today is not my day but maybe my luck will change"

What does this new relationship hold for Jake's future?
