Hi! I decided to upload WIP part 2. Have fun reading this! (I want full version to be twice long)

It was getting dark, but Ardrehir didn't stop. He wanted to go as far as he could, to make up wasted day. But traveling at night was dangerous. He decided to travel a bit longer, until it will be completely dark. "Tomorrow I'll have to stop for a longer time. I'm traveling for... two days now. I need a break." He simply walked for another ten minutes, but something changed. Ardrehir had no idea what that was. He tried to ignore it, but he still felt strange. He stopped and looked around. He didn't saw anything. "It's just my mind, I need to stop and take a nap." he thought. But some part of his mind was saying, that's not right. Ardrehir decided to make a campsite in the bushes, just to get some sleep. He went off the road to the bushes. He took a bedroll from his backpack and set in on the ground. He slid into the sleeping bag and put a backpack under his head as a pillow. After two minutest he felt asleep.

Ardrehir woke up. He looked at the moon. He was sleeping for two hours. He knew, that something wasn't right, but he didn't moved, so anyone will not know, that he's awake. His breath was in the same rhythm. He heard something moving. It was still away from him, but it was moving closer. Ardrehir hoped, that this creature won't see him. He had no idea what that was. Maybe a bandit. Or some wild animal. But he felt, that it was something different. In the meantime creature moved closer. It was now on the right side of his camp. After a while Ardrehir heard movement again. This time it was quieter, like it was away from his camp. Creature moved away from his camp. Ardrehir still didn't felt safe. He decided to stay up for the rest of the night. Creature could wake until he will fall asleep and then attack him.

It was getting lighter. First rays of sunlight scared away the darkness. Ardrehir grabbed his all things and leaved the bushes. He looked around. He noticed a few tracks. These were tracks of the fox. Ardrehir smiled. He was up for almost whole night, because a fox woke him up.

"I shouldn't be so scared. No one could see me anyway." Ardrehir went back to the road. He noticed some more tracks. Apparently some one was traveling trough night. "Next time, I'll travel trough night too. I've wasted too much time. I'll rest, when I'll reach my destination." That seemed to be a good idea. At least for him.

After few hours, Ardrehir reached a village. He decided to stop for a while to buy something to eat. Ardrehir didn't wanted to waste time tough. Looking for a market could take a while. Ardrehir looked around. He noticed a villager, that went out from his house with a bucket to take water.

"Em.. Excuse me..."

"What?" villager asked. He seemed to be a little irritated, because Ardrehir was disturbing him.

"I'm looking for a market or a tavern. Can you..."

"Both market and tavern are in the middle of the village. It's over there. Anything else?"

"No, that's all. Thank you and sorry for disturbing,"

"Whatever."

"Strange guy" Ardrehir thought. "I bet, that these villagers don't like outlanders. Or this guy is just an ass. At least he said me where I should go."

After two minutes Ardrehir reached the marked. It was almost completely empty. He noticed only one villager. He decided to ask him, where is everyone.

"Excuse me..."

"Yes?"

"Can you tell me, where is everyone?"

"So you came from far, eh? Don't you know anything about our traditions?"

"No."

"We are now celebrating day, when three of our best warriors killed a dragon, that was attacking our village for over 20 years"

"So when..."

"No one will go back here until dusk. And everyone will be too drunk to speak. But owner of the tavern should be here"

"Well, thank you. And have fun"

"Thank you. Maybe we will meet again."

"Maybe we will."

Ardrehir went to the tavern. As that villager said, owner was sitting in there. Ardrehir bought something to eat and he decided to stay in the tavern for a night. Good sleep will make him feel better. After he ate lunch, Ardrehir still had time to look around the village. Buildings were made by wood. That's why these peoples are celebrating death of this dragon. Ardrehir had no idea tough, from where villagers were getting wood. He saw a forest, but it was small, no way, that they were taking wood from there. Building were far enough of each other to prevent fire from spreading. Ardrehir didn't heard anything about dragons for a few years. He thought, that all of them died or has been killed. Shame, that he forgot to ask that villager when they killed the dragon.

It started to get darker, when Ardrehir walked all around the village. There were almost nothing interesting, mostly houses. When he got back to the tavern, it was still empty, expect of the owner. Ardrehir went to his room and lied down. After few minutes, he fallen asleep.

Ardrehir woke up one hour before dawn. He went outside to wash himself. He could do this, because after yesterday's celebration everyone was still sleeping. He decided to make a walk. Ardrehir went to nearby forest, that he saw earlier. It was quiet over there. He finally had some time to think about his "quest".After two hours he went back to tavern to eat breakfast. Then he went to the marked to buy some journey rations. After this he went back to the main road and continued his journey. When he was near village's gate, someone stopped him.

"Hey, wait!"

Ardrehir turned back. He recognized man, with which he was talking yesterday.

"Oh, hello."

"Uff, I'm glad, that I caught you, before you left."

"What's happening?"

"I... umm... Come with me"

"Well sorry, but I'm in hurry. I fear, I can't help you."

"But it's really important"

"Fine, but don't take too much time"

"I won't, I won't. Thank you. Now follow me"

Man took Ardrehir to his house and invited him to go in. Ardrehir looked around. It was a small cabin, big enough to have a bed, a chimney, small table with 2 chairs and few cupboards.

"Please, sit down"

"Now tell me, what's so important"

"Well, I know where are you going. And I know why. But I have to warn you. They are not your friends. They are trying to use you to their own things. And it's not good. Don't trust them."

"I don't trust them!"

"But for now you're doing everything, what the told you to do. You have to believe me. I know, that it's hard to trust a stranger."

"I believe you. But I have one question. From where do you know about it"

"I used to be their agent, but I left them. For some reason I'm still getting notes from them. For now it's nothing bad. Or maybe they are using some kind of code, that I don't know. Watch out for what they are doing. But don't make them suspicious."

"I'll do that. In that case, I have to go now, so I won't be too late."

"Right. Be safe."

"You too."

Ardrehir went out from house and got back to the road. Something serious was going on. And Ardrehir didn't wanted to be part of it. But now it was too late. He had to do, what they say to him. It was all he could do for now.

After two days Ardrehir reached hist destination. It was ruins of a very old castle. It was destroyed years ago, but still some parts of it was untouched, while other parts were completely destroyed.

"Strange place" Ardrehir thought. "It makes me feel..."

"Hey, you!"

Ardrehir turned back surprised. He wasn't suspecting anyone here. He was supposed to take a hidden note.

"Oh, hello. You scared me!"

"Oh yeah? What the hell are you doing here?"

"I just... umm... I just wanted to have a walk and I..."

"Stop lying, you lizard! Now, tell me the truth!"

"And again I have a problem" Ardrehir thought. "This guy is not kidding. But I can't tell him the truth..."

"Well..." Ardrehir said. "I'm here, because I was supposed to meet someone here. I'm just waiting for that person..."

"Well then, I'll wait with you."

"Don't waste your time! He will come in two days. I'm sure, that you have more interesting things to do, than spending two days in a castle ruins with some lizard..."

"I'll decide myself what I have to do. And for now I have to wait until your friend will come..."

"It's not my friend! I don't know him. I have to meet with heme here and he will give me some note or a package to deliver..."

"So you're a courier?"

"Well, kind of."

"For who are you working?"

"Well, no one. I'm working for everyone, who pays..."

"So who paid you?"

"I can't tell you!"

"Pff... You have two ways... You will tell me yourself or I'll make you to do this... It's your choice."

"So... umm... well, I'm working for..."

"Hirlen! Hirlen!" someone just ran between them shouting. Hirlem turned towards him.

"What are you doing here? I told you to stay away!"

"Yes, I know but dragon attacked our camp!"

"WHAT!?"

"Yes, our guys are trying to hold him back, but they can't stay there forever"

"Shit, let's go back to help them!"

"Perfect" Ardrehir thought. "Now I can finally get back to looking for this note."

After a while he find a note. It was sealed. Ardrehir wasn't sure if he should open it. After a while he decided to leave it sealed. He carefully got back to the road. "Why I'm doing this? Next time, I'll just say no and leave them. I'll start over from nothing again. And I'll live my life. No one will make me deliver boy again." Suddenly something disturbed him. A big "something". The dragon came from nowhere and landed just towards him. Dragon raised his head and starred at Ardrehir for a while. He gave a deep, angry growl. After this he leaped his wings and flied away. Ardrehir was shocked. It was a beautiful beast. Ardrehir knew that this dragon could kill him within one second, but still he was fascinated in how that beast looked. He thought that dragons were bigger, but this one was two times taller than him. His chest, front paws and head were defended by thin dark green scales. But Ardrehir didn't noticed anything else, because of dragon's silver eyes. He couldn't stop himself from starring right in the beast eyes. He saw anger in them, but there was something else... He didn't knew what that was. He felt, as if eyes of the dragon accessed deep into his mind, seeing his every secret...

Ardrehir shaked his head. He was standing in the middle of the road. He had to move. Ardrehir should deliver note, but he had different plans. He went to look for those mans camp. He saw the dragon, so they are all dead. "Just get there, grab some weapons and leave" he thought.

As he suspected, there was nothing left. Everything was burned. Ardrehir took a sword and looked around. There was nothing left. "Now I have to deliver this note. At least it's not far from here. I should get there before sunset."

He was there in time. Now he had to find the right person. Ardrehir had no idea who it will be. He had to go to the tavern before end of work day. Ardrehir found the tavern without problems, it was just after village gates. He ordered something to eat and sat down in the corner of the tavern. After a while someone entered. He was covered with the black coat It was the same coat like he saw in every other person from that group which was giving him orders. Man noticed that Ardrehir was starring at him. He walked towards him.

"Give me the note."

"First, give me the proof, that you're the right person."

"Eh... You couldn't just give me that note, eh? Well then, I'll have to take it from your dead body..."

Man didn't had time to reach his sword. A black arrow appeared in his throat. When he felt on the ground Ardrehir could see person who killed that guy. It was a owner of the tavern.

"You're safe now."

"Thank you, but he was nothing that I couldn't manage..."

"Yeah, of course. Now give me the note. I'm the right person."

"Give me the proof."

"I saved your life. Isn't this enough?"

"No."

"Well then... There you have it." Man gave a ring to Ardrehir. It had a symbol on it. Ardrehir had to give that note to person, who will own this ring.

"Looks good. There you have the note."

"Good. Now get out. I have to clean this mess. There is other tavern on the west side of city. Rent a room there."

"Why I can't just stay here?"

"It's too risky. Go now."

Ardrehir leaved the tavern and went to the other one. He rented a room and simply went to sleep.

When he woke up it was still dark. Ardrehir decided to stay in be for a while. One thing made him curious. "Why I don't have so called visions? I didn't had any dream from time when I leaved the city... That's odd. Did they planned it? To get rid of me? If that's true, why they did such a thing? I'm not a important person. Ha, nobody probably noticed that I'm gone. They could just kill me. I don't know... Well, maybe I should get back? So many questions, but no answers...I got to plan what to do. I could go and try to force someone from this... group to explain everything... Nah, it won't do. Well then, I'll get back to the city." Ardrehir felt a little better when he decided himself what to do. He knew, that it was risky, but that was the only thing he could do.

When Ardrehir got up, he wen to eat something and then to buy some food to the journey. It was almost noon when he was ready. He had little money left. Ardrehir decided to check out burned camp again, but there was nothing left.

Ardrehir went back to road. He heard something. This noise was new for him. It was something like flying bird. But it was different and louder. Ardrehir looked around. He didn't saw anything strange. Only trees and bushes. Ardrehir looked up. He noticed something big, covering the sun. He knew what that was. It was a dragon. Ardrehir was wondering, if this was the same dragon that he saw earlier. Dragon noticed him and flew closer to him. Ardrehir noticed, that this was the same dragon. The green beast landed towards him. Ardrehir tried to look into dragon's eyes, but dragon turned his view away. Dragon had to notice something, because he moved towards the point, on which he was looking at. Dragon growled. Ardrehir noticed, that bush moved. Normally he would ignore it thinking that it's just a wind. But there is no wind. Someone was hiding there.

"Come out, or I will take you out myself!" Ardrehir yelled.

"Hey, easy there, I'm coming!"

Man went out of the bushes. He looked around. Then he noticed a dragon. He made a strange noise and ran back to bushes.

"Come back here!"

"But there is a dragon out there!"

"You really think that those bushes can defend you?"

"Umm.. no..."

"I'm near this dragon and I'm alive, so stop crying like a baby and come out!"

Man came out again. He was greatly afraid. Ardrehir saw that this man is forcing himself to prevent from going back to bushes. Dragon was staring at him.

"Calm down, or you'll piss your pants"

"I'll try..."

"Now tell me, why you were following me?"

"I wasn't following you! I was just... having a walk when I saw you. I thought that you're a bandit or something and you'll rob or kill me. That's why I hide..."

"And why do you think, that I'm a bandit?"

"Because... Well, there is a lot of them in these days, so I decided to hide, just to be safe."

"Hmm... Let's say that I believe you... Now begone, or I'll command my dragon to kill you..."

"No, don't do this! I'm going, I'm going"

Man ran to the bushes again. Ardrehir could hear him running.

"I am not your dragon."

"Who the..." Ardrehir turned back surprised. He was alone. Only a dragon was starring at him. Ardrehir turned towards him.

"Do you..."

"Yes. I can speak." said dragon. His voice was deep and grumbling, but Ardrehir could understand him almost without problems.

"That's... I don't know what to say..."

"Stay quiet then."

"But..."

"Ehh, humans. You can't stop talking... Hmm... You're not a human, but you are similar to them."

"No, I'm not a human. I'm...."

"DRAGON! KILL THE BEAST!" Ardrehir turned back. He saw few warriors with their weapons drawn. They wanted to kill the dragon. Ardrehir started to wonder why. What this dragon did to them.

"I should go now. I'll be back in two days. But try to prepare to a talk."

Dragon flapped his wings and flew away. Warriors walked to Ardrehir.

"Are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine. What do you want?"

"We just want to help you."

"I don't need no help. Leave me alone."

"Hmpf. Boys, move out!"

Ardrehir was alone again. He wanted to go back to the city, but now his plans changed. He decided to stay here for couple days and wait for the dragon. Ardrehir was curious about what the dragon could say to him.
