Recruiting the Devourer

Hollow and Zecane were a couple of adventurers settling into a tavern for the night after a long day's questing. Though as Hollow realized that they lacked a certain strength in their team, a bulking alligator walked through the door. Hollow could tell from a glance that the alligator was a Devourer, a warrior trained to focus on eating their opponents.

Would he make a perfect addition to their party, or would Hollow and Zecane make a perfect addition to his stomach?

Another story featuring Hollow, I usually don't really like humans in vore but I woke up one day with this in my mind and I just stayed there writing it. I love fantasy settings, so many things to get nommed by. And magic! :D There are probably going to be more stories to come in the world of Kurcia :3

Hollow belongs to himself.

Recruiting the Devourer

Hollow tapped his fingers against the wooden table, his eyes drifting over the tavern floor. He took a sip of his mead in thought as he looked around, there he was, a human mage in a city of anthros. He was one of the few of his kind, though he never quite understood why humans were so rare in Kurcia he did seem to get a lot of attention for his species alone.

Of course, it was usually the attention of connoisseurs who found live prey particularly appetizing. He had even been offered gold in the past in exchange for being held a predator's stomach for a couple of minutes, and since he had protective spells to protect him from harm, he didn't mind the ride.

He glanced up as he heard someone making his way over and smiled gently as he saw it was his companion, a vulpine healer named Zecane. The two had been the best of friends for as long as he could remember, they had watched each other's backs since leaving the mage towers, and were making their way in the world as adventurers.

"Hey Zecane, done getting the room?" Hollow asked with a smile, shuffling over In the booth so the fox could sit beside him, "What did you end up getting, two single beds or a double?"

"A double, it turned out to be cheaper." The brown fox replied, his fluffy tail wagged back and forth happily as he slipped into his seat next to the mage, "Not that I mind, of course. I'm fine sharing a bed so long as you are."

"So long as you don't steal the covers again," he chuckled in response, giving his friend a playful hug before glancing over the tavern once again, taking note of the sets of eyes watching him from the crowd, "Everyone's been staring at me since you left."

"Maybe it's your hair." Zecane offered, reaching a hand up and running it through the mage's white hair, "It's pretty bright, plus I heard not a lot of humans have white hair like you do."

"Maybe it's that there aren't a lot of humans around," Hollow replied with a little shrug. He took another sip of his drink before turning his attention back to the fox, trying to find the right way to word what he wanted to say, "So, um... about our last adventure."

"Oh, right. Sorry about that." Zecane blushed, scratching at his neck as his tail flicked nervously back and forth, "I don't know what happened. One minute we were winning a battle and the next I was waist deep in a hungry slime. I'm just glad you got me out before my shield spell wore off."

"Not to mention the kobolds before," Hollow reminded him, his rear was still a little sore from that particular encounter, but they had insisted he and the fox were welcome back any time. He shook his head, "Zecane, we're both mages, neither of us are particularly physical."

"Sorry," The fox replied guiltily, his ears tucking back as he fiddled with his tail.

"It's not your fault, we just aren't the fighting kind, and there's nothing wrong with that." Hollow insisted, trying to lighten his friend up as he noticed his distress, "It just means we have to get a fighter to join us."

"Like... a third member of our team?" Zecane blinked, his ears slowly raising back up until they were in their alert position once more, "I don't know, Hollow. How are we going to find someone we can trust?"

"It can't be that hard. We're in a tavern in Lovalo, the capital of Kurcia. This place should be filled with adventurers." Hollow replied. His yellow eyes drifted over the tavern once more and he pointed out a muscular black tiger near the back of the room. He grinned up at the two as he caught them looking his way. "How about him?"

"He looks like a rogue, we wouldn't want to wake up in the middle of the night with all our stuff missing." Zecane laughed nervously, shaking his head as he began to look around too, "How about that husky by the bar? He seems pretty strong."

"The one that just got off the stage?" Hollow chuckled before playfully batting the fox's arm with his fist, "I think if we need another caster, we should at least get an enchanter rather than a bard."

"Heh, right." Zecane laughed in response as he leaned back in the booth, deciding to focus on his drink and let Hollow do the work, though he did keep a curious eye out in the hopes he might spot someone.

Hollow's laughter faded as he turned back to his talent scouting. It was a lot harder finding an adventurer than he thought, "How are you with dragons? That guy at the back has an axe bigger than either of us."

"D-dragons?" Zecane stuttered, shrinking in his seat as his tail fluffed out in fright. He gulped and glanced over at the human, "I-I mean, I guess we could, maybe, it's just that, I'm, um. Y'know."

"It's okay, Zecane. No dragons then." Hollow replied as he reached over and petted the fox's ears to soothe him. The fox's fear of dragons had kept them out of a few quests in the past, but the human didn't mind avoiding all that fire and brimstone anyway. He couldn't help but blush as Zecane began to rub his head against the hand, murring away as his tail wagged happily, "Stop being so adorable."

"Make me." the fox stuck out his tongue in response. His eyes drifted open just enough for Hollow to see his brown pupils as they shimmered in the candlelight. He chuckled and shook his head, looking away from the fox and back towards the lower floor just in time to see the doors of the tavern fly open.

The two mages both couldn't help but stare as the alligator stepped in, almost twice their size with a gut that looked like it could conceal both of them with ease. His scaly skin was green and dirty, and his heavy tail shifted the tables as it bashed against them. He had no weapon on him, and only a scrap of cloth covering over his crotch, but they could both tell just from how muscular his arms and chest were that he was the fighting kind.

"Him?" Hollow offered, glancing over at his healer companion, noticing the blush across his muzzle matched that over his own face, "I mean, just look at him, he's huge. He'd probably be able to protect us without even lifting a finger."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Devourers aren't exactly the nicest sorts." Zecane replied, trying to stay rational even as his tail wagged back and forth, protesting the fox's decision not to throw himself at the alligator, "They eat people for a living, it's how they fight. He'd never see us as more than prey that just happens to be offering him money."

"Well, yeah." Hollow blushed, looking back at the alligator's gut, watching it jiggle as he took a seat at the bar. He shivered and bit his lip, having to cross his legs to conceal the bump in his robes, "But Devourers are some of the greatest warriors out there. The least we could do is talk to him."

"Just be careful, alright?" Zecane replied, bringing his tail over his lap and pretending to stroke the fur back down, "I don't want either of us to end up being eaten alive by someone we're trying to recruit."

"Right," Hollow blushed over at the fox. They both knew that wasn't the case, but he felt like the modest thing to do was to not draw attention to it. He gave Zecane one more rub behind the ears before slipping out of the booth and making his way over to the lizard, his heart beating faster with each step.

Finally he was standing next to him, though he struggled with himself to get the courage to speak with him. The alligator grinned at the bartender, gripping his gut and shaking it so hard the human could hear its contents as they sloshed around inside it. "So I tell him 'Yeah, I can think of a few uses for you'." he chuckled, patting his stomach as he finished the story, "Didn't get the reward for catching him, but I did get some nice leather armour out of it, only partially digested too."

"You swallow your foes with their armour still on?" Hollow asked, finally seeing a window of opportunity to speak with the Devourer. He sat at the bar next to him, clearing his throat as he composed himself before giving his follow-up question, "Don't you worry they might have concealed weapons?"

"Kid, I've eaten everything from mages to warriors. No sword, dagger, axe, arrow or magic bolt can break this gut. Besides, I've always got my 'de-equipment' skill, strips the prey of everything they've got in one burp." The alligator grinned, showing off his lines of sharp teeth as he turned to the human, looking a little surprised, "So, what's a human doing talking to a Devourer anyway? Want to see how my stomach works for your 'mage studies'?"

"N-no." Hollow replied, though he knew his hesitation probably revealed he meant 'yes'. He tapped the counter to order himself a drink while he looked up at the alligator, trying to take his eyes off his maw while he spoke, "My friend and I are adventurers, but we're both magic users. We were hoping we might convince you to join us."

"Oh really? Hmm, tempting." The alligator replied, licking along his lips and lathering them with drool in the process. He took a chug of his drink, finishing half of it in one gulp before looking around the tavern, "So, who's your friend?"

"Oh, he's at the booth up there." Hollow replied, pointing out the fox. It seemed that in his absence the fox had attracted some company, the rogue tiger from before was petting along Zecane's ears and staring into his eyes as he pushed another mug of ale infront of him. Hollow narrowed his eyes on the scene, "I hope he realizes we've only got enough room in the bed for the two of us."

"No problem, you can stay with me tonight." The alligator grinned, giving the human a slap on his rear hard enough that the mage spilled his drink over his robes, "Whoops, sorry about your dress."

"It's not a dress." Hollow blushed up at the lizard, blushing deep red over both the spank and the comment, not to mention the offer the alligator had made him. "And I should probably let Zecane know first."

"How about a deal?" The alligator offered, grabbing the human's hand as he went to get up and pressing it to his stomach, letting him feel as it rumbled and growled, "Spend the night with me, and I'll join you and your friend in the morning."

"Oh?" Hollow blinked. The recruitment process had been a lot easier than he thought it would be, plus it seemed that his companion was working on getting a rogue into their party too. He ran a hand through his snowy white hair and smiled up at the alligator, "Sure, though I should get your name first. I'm Hollow."

"Lax." The alligator introduced himself, shaking the hand he was holding onto before grabbing his drink and opening his mouth wide, allowing the mage a good look at his deep, dark maw as the alcohol splashed over the back of his throat, leaving it glistening invitingly. He ran his tongue over his teeth slowly and breathed out a heavy sigh of relief over Hollow's face, the stench of ale and meat filled the human's nose as he did so. "Urp. Ready?"

"Sure." Hollow replied breathlessly, finding himself short on words as Lax closed his mouth, once again concealing the Devourer's greatest and only weapon, their throat. There was no doubt in his mind he would see it again though, he moved to stand up but found himself instead being picked up by the alligator and held over his shoulder as though he were some hunting prize.

He blushed and moved his hands to his robes, trying to keep them from exposing him as he was carried through the tavern, finding every face he passed either laughing or watching on with curiosity and anticipation. He just hoped the alligator had gotten one of the rooms nearby so he wouldn't have to bear the embarrassment all the way up the stairs to the top of the tavern.

* * *

...After four flights of being carried past snickering anthros, they had finally reached the room. Hollow was exasperated, his head hurting from how much he had been blushing. His struggles to escape Lax's grip around his feet had been all but in vain, though they had cleared amused the alligator as he could hear him chuckling as the mage's slender feet kicked his toned chest.

He tossed the human carelessly onto the bed and quickly made his way over to him, pinning him beneath his growling gut. Hollow blushed as he pushed back against it, he could feel the alligator's member as it throbbed through his loincloth, "That's the good thing about being a Devourer, the dress code is pretty much non-existant since any shirts or armour would just get ripped."

"Nothing but a loincloth," Hollow noted, feeling over the gator's sweaty stomach He wriggled one of his hands down far enough to run over his chest, causing his robes to disappear in a flash of blue light and leave him naked against the bed, aside from the pink silk panties he wore, "Once you get good with magic, clothes are pretty much non-existant for mages too."

"So you walk around naked all the time? Ha, I knew I felt flesh when I spanked you earlier." Lax drooled over him, his thick tongue slipping out from his jaws and running over the human's cheek, "I've got to admit, I've always wanted to eat a human. You don't have to worry about the usual stuff with stomachs when you're with a Devourer, I've got complete control over it."

"You're really going to eat me then?" the mage blushed, squirming against the alligator's stomach as it growled loudly in response, begging for the tasty morsel that Lax had trapped beneath it. The sound left him shuddering and panting as he looked up at Devourer, his member stiffening and poking into his gut.

"I can feel that, you know." Lax murred, lifting up his gut just enough to see the human's shaft under it. He chuckled to himself as he groped at his package before looking down at him with a smirk. The human could feel something pressing between his cheeks, having slipped through one of the leg holes of his underwear to poke its tip at his tailhole, "Can you feel that?"

He held his breath and gave a little nod, his heart beating rapidly as he looked into Lax's yellow eyes. The alligator just continued to grin down at him, his tongue running from the mage's chest and over his face before slurping at his hair. The maw play was just a way to distract the mage as he began to push himself into him, leaving the human moaning out in pleasure as he was stretched by the alligator's shaft.

"God damn, you're tight." Lax grunted as he pushed himself deeper into Hollow, forcing his shaft deep into the human's rear. He began to thrust forcefully, drooling over the mage all the while, "Thought I might have you cream-filled."

"G-good choice," Hollow panted between his moaning. He rested his head back on the pillow, unable to move his arms under the alligator's bulging stomach. He found himself completely at his mercy, and the Devourer didn't seem to have any plans of giving him any in the heat of his pleasure.

As the alligator moaned Hollow found himself staring into his gaping maw once again, now far closer than he had been at the bar. Each thrust seemed to bring him closer to it until finally his head slipped between Lax's jaws. The tongue began to slurp hungrily over his face, tasting the cinnamon flavour on his skin as it drew him in deeper as the alligator's pungent breath washed over him, leaving his head spinning as it did so.

Lax grunted as he coated his meal's hole with pre, allowing him to thrust much faster as his member became lubricated from it. He pressed one of his hands to the back of Hollow's head, forcing him into his mouth as it began to lick over his chest, his throat pulsed invitingly for the human to slip inside.

"A-at least finish up first." Hollow pleaded, blushing hotly as he stared down the cavenous throat ahead of him. Unlike his vulpine friend he couldn't see in the dark, so all he could count on was the light coming from between the alligator's teeth, which all but faded as he took his first gulp to pull the human's head and chest into his throat.

The mage squirmed with delight, the warmth and power of the throat coupled with the alligator's raunchy thrusts sent him over the edge. He let out a high-pitched moan of pleasure as he orgasmed, soaking his panties with his sticky semen. As if waiting for his signal the alligator murred loudly around him before firing his load into the human's rear, making the human's stomach bulge slightly from the amount of cum he had received.

"Thanks Lax." Hollow panted, trying to catch his breath as he felt himself being lifted off the member. Now that he wasn't being kept back, he found himself swiftly moving down the alligator's throat, leaving a bulge in his neck as his hips slipped past it. The Devourer slurped over his feet once more before closing his mouth around them, swallowing him whole.

"Th-that was a lot quicker than I thought it'd be." Hollow admitted with a blush, finding himself forced to curl up in the stomach as he felt along the walls. They were warm and wet to the touch, but he didn't see any signs of acids, nor of the bandit who had passed through him earlier, "Your stomach is really comfortable though."

"Well, you're in my storage stomach," Lax explained, letting out a lewd belch, the strength of which pulled Hollow's underwear off of him and sent it flying back the way he had come. The Devourer reached into the back of his maw and took off the panties, taking a moment to breath in the scent of the human's pleasure before using them to wipe the drool off his mouth, "A Devourer's got to keep their equipment somewhere, so we use magic to give ourselves a second stomach for storage." he grinned, tossing the panties back into his mouth and gulping them down to the human, "And of course it was quick, I'm a Devourer. I could've finished you in one gulp if I wanted to."

"Oh, right." the human blushed, slipping his panties back on as they arrived back in the stomach, now soaked in the alligator's drool. He blushed and rubbed the stomach wall, listening to the dulled sound of Lax's heartbeat as he basked in the afterglow of his orgasm, "So, you're going to join our adventuring party then?"

"Sure. I just need to tie up one more loose end." Lax smirked. Hollow blinked as he felt the stomach shift around him, he could hear the sounds of the alligator's heavy feet as they stomped against the floor, the jerking movements around him keeping the human informed that he was on the move, whether he wanted to be or not.

He pressed his ear to the wall of the stomach as he heard voices coming from the other side, along with the sound of a door closing. He could feel Lax's voice rumbling through the walls around him as he spoke. "Yikes, looks like you two are having a good time. Hope he didn't give you any trouble."

"Please, as if a healer could beat me." A male voice replied, it seemed sauve and silky. Hollow heard the sound of a sharp 'smack!' and a familiar whimper, it was Zecane's. "He tried to call for help though, so I had to gag him and give him twenty across the ass. Hope you don't mind your fox rump being a little tender and red."

"Are you kidding? That just makes it all the better. I just hope you used the digestable bindings this time." Lax replied, slurping loudly as thoughts of the alligator's tongue running over the fox's rear clouded the mage's mind. "Hope he's more filling than his friend though."

"So, you ate him? Do you have any idea how rare humans are? He was worth four times his weight in gold you lummax!" the male voice hissed at him, giving him a slap across the stomach to punish him.

"Hey, I put him in my storage stomach. I'm not an idiot." Lax growled back at him. His stomach rumbled angrily around Hollow, and the mage could hear the distant sounds of the alligator's acids bubbling in preparation. "And we're not selling him. I'm keeping him."

"Fine, but you'll have to feed him yourself. I don't know what humans eat." the male voice replied coldly, "Send the fox down, I'm sure he'll be an adequate meal for your little stowaway."

"Ha, alright. Down the hatch, foxy!" the alligator laughed. Hollow widened his eyes in alarm as he heard the series of wet gulps and slurps coming from above him, and the stomach sphincter opened to reveal Zecane's embarassed face. He shuffled back to make room for the bound fox, but soon found himself buried under his friend.

"S-sorry Hollow." the healer apologized, squirming in his bindings as he tried to get his hands and legs free of them, though all it did was make him grind his rear against the human's face. "Looks like he got both of us. Guess there's nothing to do now but struggle."

"I wouldn't be so sure. He wouldn't have sent you to his storage stomach if he planned to digest you." Hollow replied, finally managing to turn the fox enough so his butt was off his face, though it did mean he was getting assaulted by the fluffy tail as it batted at his cheeks, "Stay still, I'll get the bindings off."

"So, that's your new pet fed. I guess this whole thing was a waste of time though, they barely had enough coin in their bags to cover the cost of the room." The black tiger noted in a disappointed tone. "So, I suppose you'll be going back to your room and I'll be staying in theirs and we meet for breakfast in the morning?"

"I think I'd rather just have you for dinner." Lax rumbled. Grabbing onto the male tiger's arms and pinning them to his sides. He ran his tongue over the tiger's muzzle, grinning to himself as he did so, "Mmm, I've been waiting a long time for this."

"You can't eat me, I'm your boss!" The rogue snarled at him, struggling futily against the alligator's grip. He shuddered as the tongue ran over his cheek and tilted his head back, "Who's going to spot the marks for you to eat, hm?"

"Sorry 'boss', but I'm switching careers. The moment you hit my stomach, I'm an adventurer." Lax smirked before opening his mouth wide and stuffing the tiger in up to his shoulders. He murred as his meal squirmed for freedom, the sweet taste of his silk shirt battled the salty taste of his fur for dominance, but Lax wasn't eating him for his flavour.

"Mmph! But I trained you! I own you!" the tiger pleaded with him, only to be answered with another swift but heavy gulp, the years of Lax's experience as a Devourer becoming very clear to the tiger. Soon his voice was muffled by the throat as it held him tightly, dragging him in past his waist.

Lax took a moment to slurp over the tiger's crotch and ass, drooling over his trousers enough to make it look like the rogue had wet himself. He groped at the tiger's ample rear, murring and biting down gently on it to keep the tiger in place as he tilted his head back, allowing gravity to aid him in dragging the tiger to his demise.

The rogue's head was shoved mercilessly through the stomach sphincter, finding himself in the alligator's actual stomach rather than the storage one that the two adventurers were sharing. He whimpered and tried to go back the way he came, but he felt himself slowly sliding further down the alligator's throat, the last of the warm air of the tavern room brushed over his feet, then faded as the Devourer snapped his jaw shut. For a moment nothing happened, the tiger was held out of the stomach by the throat, his head dangling inches from the bottom.

'Gllrk!' All at once the rogue found himself slipping, his face pressed against the bottom of the stomach until his hands broke free. He scrambled and pulled himself into a sitting position before pushing and kicking at the stomach walls, "Lax, let me out of here! I'm willing to renegotiate your contract!"

"Escape from that, 'Master of Traps'." The alligator grinned down at his stomach, jabbing it with one of his chubby fingers as the rogue's voice was overtaken by the gurgling and churning of the stomach around him. He breathed in deeply before letting out a belch windy enough to blow the banner hanging above the bed off the wall. The tiger's silk shirt and trousers came flying out of his mouth, along with the bindings that had been tying the fox down. He could feel the human's panties coming back up but gulped them down before they could escape his maw, "Erf, sorry about that, Hollow."

"No problem, Lax." Hollow blushed, slipping his underwear back on as he stroked the stomach wall, having finally managed to get comfortable in the alligator's gut by cuddling up with the naked fox, "Thanks for coming with us."

"Well, if I sold you I wouldn't get to keep you." Lax grinned, licking his lips as he fell back on the bed, listening to it creak warily under his weight. He scratched at his stomach and rubbed it down as he felt the tiger squirming inside, "Besides, my last boss was an asshole. I'm sure I'm better off with you."

"Here's hoping." The mage replied, looking over at his vulpine friend as he wrapped his tail over him like a blanket. The fox had dozed off and was snoring gently. There was nothing that could get Zecane to sleep faster than a warm, soft 'bed'. "So, how are we getting out of here anyway?"

"How do you think?" Lax smirked in response, pushing down on his gut teasingly to force the two adventurers closer together. Hollow shuddered at the answer before nuzzling at Zecane's tail and falling asleep, deciding that some things were best left until the morning.

The End.
