"God you're a pain, anyway there is something about these books that I don't get?"

Tairin cocks his head with a confused look on his face "and what's that."

I look directly at Tairin "caring 23 text books into the woods makes no sense to me, why would he be caring that many text books because all those books cover over 4 years of material."

He looks more confused "I thought that's what you humans loved to do was consume as much information as possible, so I thought that something like that was normal for your race."

I raise my brow and let out a little quiet laughter "you're kidding right, the normal student caries no more than 6 text books, so 23 is obviously too much."

Tairins face starts to show some understanding of how unusual this is. "Oh...I see, then that is very strange."

I scratch my head "could you sense anyone else nearby?"

Tairin narrows his eyes thoughtfully "umm...no there wasn't anyone but him within a mile of that area."

I raise my brow "a mile?"

He shacks his head "I mean, that's as far as I can sense."

"Oh...dam I guess we won't know why that kid was carrying 23 fucking text books, that had to be heavy too."

Tairin shrugs "not really."

I smack my forehead "not you" I start chuckling "that was stupid."

He narrows his eyes at me "don't start."

I put my hands up still smiling "fine whatever."

"Stop smiling."

I give him that ‘really' look "settle down ok you're not err...that's probably not a good thing to say, anyway there's something I wanted to ask you?"

In an agitated tone "and what would that be?"

I look at him seriously "once people figure out I went missing on that trail there's gonna be a man hunt and there gonna cover the entire state looking for me so they might find this place, what are you gonna do then?"

He closes his eyes and breaths through his snout heavily "I thought something like that might happen so I prepared a place far away for the pack to stay."

Shock is written all over my face "how far err...can you find it on a map?"

"Yes why do you have a map?"

I shack my head "you have 23 text books and the thought had never occurred to you that there might be a map in one of them?"

Shame appears on Tairins face "oh, no it didn't" he points to the chest "get one?"

I roll my eyes and walk over to the chest, open it up and grab the world geography text book and find a map of the United States, then walk over to Tairin and put it in his lap. I point to Reed City, Michigan "were somewhere in this area now study the size of the map and compare that to how far away we are going."

Tairin studies the map for a good 20 minutes "I think I got it, we will travel here, to the south east of this star named Ind...an...apo...las."

I take the book from him and look at where he pointed "it's Indianapolis...this vertical rectangular forest" I look up from the book to him shocked "wow that's...a good spot to hide from the looks of it, I mean were just close enough to civilization to get stuff if we need to."

He cocks his head "civilization is what were going to be getting away from."

I roll my eyes "if we need to get something I can go into a store and buy it."

Tairin laughs at me "I'm not that stupid so don't even bother wasting your breath."

I shrug "your lose."

"The only thing I would be losing would be you and I don't want to track you down again."

I stair him straight in the eye "I bet I could lose you."

Tairin taps his snout "not with this nose."

I look back at the book "we have ways of removing our sent."

"Yeah and I bet there not available to you and besides how do you know it will work."

I shrug "you don't but if I told the authorities they could help me."

Tairin grins "and what would you say ‘that a werewolf took me and wants to fuck me." He starts laughing uncontrollable.

I narrow my eyes at him "I can make something up, but since your kind exist why does our government deny your existence?"

He stops laughing immediately and starts flaring his nostrils but calms himself down a little bit before starting "A long time ago I overheard this scientist talking to some big general and they were arguing about whether or not to tell the public about "my kind". The scientist's argument was "they are dangerous when threatened in any type of way and the people have a right to know what dangerous creatures are out there." The general's argument was "this will fall back on us if we tell them and I can't let them make a fool out of the government."

They kept arguing until the general shouts "do you have any idea how many hundreds of innocent people have been brutally murdered by these things, the "people" aren't going to take this well and they will probably revolt in the panic because we didn't tell them about these monsters sooner and besides I will not be held responsible for what these monsters have done. I don't want to be criticized for not telling them sooner."

The scientist calms down "fine we won't tell them but mark my words one day, one day...someone will figure it out and it will all be over, this will be a huge mess and it will be on your head not mine, got it."

The general swats the air in annoyance "yes I understand what you're saying but if anyone comes forward they will be misunderstood, so no one will figure it out."

The scientist laughs "remember these words general because I will only say them once...to be great...is to be misunderstood."

"The general leaves and so does the scientist in a hurry and I never have seen them again."

A confused look forms on my face "how did you see this."

He wrinkles his nose "I...I was captured about 50 years ago for study then they released me, and at the time I could understand a fair amount of English."

"I see...well then what kind of studying did they do to you?"

He looks away from me "they pumped me full of sleepy stuff and pocked a bunch of needles in me and I would come to every now and then but they would rush over and pump me full of that sleepy stuff again."

"That sleepy stuff is called a sedative and it's a type of drug that relaxes the body to the point of falling asleep...You know you have gone through so much shit it's hard for me to believe you."

"I'm real and not too long ago you didn't believe in me."

I nod my head in agreement "you have a point but still why are you the one that went through with all this shit."

Tairin shrugs "I don't have the slightest clue but if I could take it all back I would."

I raise my brow "even kidnapping me?"

He laughs and shacks his head "oh no...you are the best thing that's happened to me since I became alpha of the pack."

I shrug "Whatever, can we go do something? I can't stand staying in one place for too long; it bugs the shit out of me."

Tairin grins evilly "well if you want to make another run for it again be my guest that would just speed up the process of you accepting me as your dominant mate."

My eyes go wide "w...what do you mean speed up the process?"

"Well if I rape you at the start then by the end you won't consider it rape anymore because you'll love it."

I do some fake laughs "yeah right...me liking that, is like me wanting to jump off a cliff, that's not gonna happen."

Tairin cocks his head "Only a matter of time before your time runs out."

I'm shocked by what he said "why do you keep saying that I don't get it?"

He looks surprised "I can show you what I mean."

"I know it involves sex so no."

Tairin chuckles "someday I'm gonna get so horny that there won't be anything you can say or do to stop me."

I look nervous "other than me don't you have another way of taking care of your horny...ness?"

"Of course, I could use one of the wolves but I need to break you otherwise you'll never accept me at all cause for one there is too much bitterness and defiance in you. I like a challenge but I have to set up a realistic goal."

I walk over to the bed of furs and site down as far away from him as possible with this terrified look on my face.

Tairin rolls his eyes "would you stop that it's pathetic, besides after the first time it feels much better, oh and one tip for you after were done run outside because you're going to want to take the biggest shit of your life after were done..."

‘I can't believe this going to happen to me, I've seen dogs mate and that looked brutal but I can't imagine how bad he's going to fuck me when he's so horny and has no self control at all. I guess my fate is to be mated to this werewolf' goose bumps form all over my body as I shake briefly "can I go outside so I can focus on something else?"

"After you eat because I'm so hungry right now" Tairin gets up and walks to the door "I'm gonna get some deer again is that ok."

I meekly respond "yeah"

Tairin leaves and 5 minutes later the brown dogman comes in. "human, why do you have to be so hard on him, he was only tiring to make you happy?"

I look up at him coldly "I don't like you either."

"Answer, why are being mean to the alpha?"

"You're not bad with English."

He snarls at me "fucking answer now?"

*Sigh* "um I don't know probably because he kidnapped me, wants to fuck me, and that concerns me a lot."

He snorts "take my advice; let him fuck you now before he loses all reasoning."

I roll my eyes ‘who the fuck does this guy think he is "I think I'll pass."

He scratches his neck "then it's gonna be fun watching him fuck you hard an see you scream." He grins.

"Yeah whatever, hey what's your name."

"Um...Rine, I think that what it comes out to."

"So have you ever seen any creatures that can walk on two legs out here other than us?"

He thinks for a moment "bigfoot."

"Every now and then I will hear on the news that there was a bigfoot attack somewhere in Canada, but aren't they nice and friendly creatures."

He looks lost "Canada?"

"Up north from here, past the water."

"Oh yeah that depends on how humans have treated the bigfoot and what it was doing before that might have gotten it mad."

I raise my brows "What about territory, doesn't that have anything to do with it?"

"Well yes, but usually you have to be getting in their way or piss them off somehow. Sometimes they just have bad days just like you do sometimes."

I shack my head "yeah and I could name one recently that just happened."

"Stop your complaining, he loves you so much and lets you talk back to him like I've never seen and that's got to be killing him so could you find it in the evil dark pit you call a heart to be at least neutral to him, that much he deserves."

I laugh at him "since when does he even deserve me, I get that he deserves someone because he's been through hell, that much I understand, but what I don't understand is the fact that he kidnapped me, I don't want anything to do with him, since I was born I have had the right to the pursuit happiness, but now none of that is possible."

*Sigh*"look you have to understand that he's not perfect and neither am I, but he's been searching for someone just like you for 76 years, shortly after he became alpha, and when he first saw you and came back I had never seen him so at peace and overjoyed before and I have been in this pack since birth, 170 years. You're all he's got and if you think for one second that he will ever let you go your wrong. He takes things real hard, like when you tried to run away that really hurt him, that's why he was going to punish you so you would never do anything like that again. You're also the only person keeping him sane; I don't even want to think about what he would do if you died."

I lay my head back against the rocky wall ‘man I never thought about it like that' I lower my head and put my hand up against my forehead to support it. ‘How could I be so stupid, this wolf clearly isn't gonna back down and he sure as hell loves me, so what chance do I have in stopping him, I guess he's obsessed with me, wait if I accept being his mate then that means there might be the chance for...' "okay...I understand what I have to do now."

Rine looks surprised "what...what do you have to do?"

"As mates I will talk to the humans and Tairin can talk to all the Canis Vir and together we can establish a new world where both Humans and Wolves can live in peace and harmony" I look up at Rine "your race can integrate with ours."

He looks at me like I'm nuts "that's impossible no one can unite both races."

I stand up and walk closer to him "your right no ONE person can do this but if both me and Tairin do this I'm 100% sure we will succeed."

Rine looks at me in a challenging way "what about your laws and customs, we don't know them all but from what we know, we can't fit in. I mean how do expect us to adjust from this" makes a hand gesture to the room around him "to the great cities your people live in."

I meet his gaze with an equally challenging stare "not everyone lives in the city, in fact neither do I."

"We don't want to leave this behind."

"Neither did I" I chuckle "I never wanted any of this but Tairin wanted me, like Julius Caesar once said ‘War gives the right of the conquerors to impose any conditions they please upon the vanquished."

"Yes that's true but we are talking about our entire race, not one person and this is not a war."

I raise my hands "Oh I get it, who gives a fuck about the human, he's only one person it's not like he cares he's a slave to a dam sex crazed werewolf, god your fucking stupid and what are you talking about "this is not a war" are you kidding our people have practically been at war since Christianity took its major roots."

Rhine flares his nostrils "that's not what I meant..."

Tairin drops the deer carcass to the floor to the right of the doorway and looks at me with a death glare. "Is that what you think you are to me, a slave, nothing but a bitch that calls me master all day and waits to be fucked whenever I want, open your eyes and ears and tell me if I have made you do any of these things?"

I look at him in shock but regain my compos'er "then what about keeping me here against my will."

Tairin shacks his head at me "Keeping you here against your will doesn't count as being a slave, if anything it means you're my captive."

I shake my hands "ooooo...that's so much different."

He rolls his eyes "Whatever just eat." He takes the liver and throws the carcass in front of me."

"I raise my brow "so how am I gonna eat this raw?"

Tairin flares his nostrils "you are so fucking picky." He walks over and picks up the carcass, rips the liver open with his teeth and eats it in front of me. "There is nothing wrong with eating meat like this." He holds what's left of the liver in front of me, and then walks away with the deer carcass in hand.

Rine looks at me "who is Julius Caesar?"

I smile and turn toward Rine "Julius Caesar was and always will be the greatest general of all time, his strategies of warfare are nothing but perfect especially on his campaign in Gaul with the siege of the Gaul's capital Alesia."

He looks at me confused "so haven't other generals taken cities before?"

"Well yeah but he had 40,000 men and was up against about 220,000 anger Gaul's."

Rine looks shocked "you're lying, no way could 40,000 beat 220,000 that's just not possible."

I chuckle "oh yes it is, it has to do with troop quality and strategy not numbers, you see Caesar was the kind of general that would kick back and give orders but when it looked like he was gonna loose he would come in with fresh troops just before his lines would rout, you see he knew how to time things just right so the morale boost his troops would get was tenfold."

Tairin walks in carrying in his hand some nicely cooked venison. "Here" he hands the venison to me.

I take it from his hand and take a bit, then engulf it until it's gone. "Dam that was good."

"It better have been, I hate cooking...so this general Caesar was he also the emperor of the Roman Empire?"

"Not at the time of his campaign of Gaul and how did you know he was an emperor?"

Rine looks curiously at his alpha.

Tairin points to the chest "I have read that English book from front to back and one of the plays is Julius Caesar."

I raise my brows and shack my head in understanding "I see, that would make sense."

"I have read most of your ancient medieval history book and I have concluded that your people are stupid, particularly the Romans."

I raise one brow "you're kidding right, the Romans were the first to have an highly regimented and organized military that our people use today and they were the first to make a durable building structures using roman concrete which has still to this day not been outperformed, I mean we have faster drying concrete but modern concrete is not stronger than roman concrete and they were the best road builders, in fact some of the roads they built are still being used to this day, that's how good their roads were, so please explain to me how the Romans are particularly stupid?"

"Well for one they had a nasty habit of destroying everything that they conquered and building new stuff over it like the library of Alexandria, the largest library in the ancient world, burned to the ground by Caesar himself and most of the material in that library was not copied which means that humanity was set back or how about when they destroyed Jerusalem and killed Christ and who knows what else they destroyed that put humanity back, that's why I don't get why your people even bother recording history when you don't seem to learn from your past, for example the economy you're country has is horrible, but then it will get better, but you will stop regulating the banks and then you're "great country" will be up shits creek without a paddle once again, your people just don't get that, I mean everyone can't be free to do as they please in fact I think that's called anarchy."

My mouth is hanging open in complete surprise "wow I don't even know how to react to that."

"You can start by agreeing with me."

"I do but how did you know so much about our economy?"

"Well for being over 200 years old I have heard much talk about how the economy is doing good then bad then good then bad again, your people talk to others and even themselves about it is fairly common around here."

Looking tired of this conversation "hey can I go outside to get some air?"

*Frustrated sigh* "sure why the fuck not." He gestures toward the doorway.

I walk through the doorway, out the cave, and into the middle of the field. I look behind myself and there's Tairin and the others behind him watching me. I chuckle "relax I couldn't get that far anyway and besides I haven't forgotten the threat you gave me last time."

Tairin grins "you were lucky we were interrupted otherwise you ass would no longer be a virgin."

I turn my head back around to see the sun setting and look at my watch ‘wow 8:37 dam time flies by' "that was a close one though, we almost got caught..."

A voice off in the distance "he look I found wolf and human tracks."

Wow you have no idea how many distractions I have had. Man with the new graphics card not working (fixed that problem), getting a new power supply to support the graphics card (dam, you think they would make system requirements for the graphics card on the site your buying it from, but no I had to find that out AFTER I got it and I had to go to a different site to get the specs, pissed me off and apparently that's a common problem, umm I'm no genius but if you put 2 and 2 together, putting the system requirements on the sites people buy it from just makes things easy and imbedding the info in a site doesn't help me to much), getting an extension cable for the power supply, new games, friends, school, track, and work. I haven't had much time in making this chapter but alas friends I finally finished it. As you can tell I like talking about Rome and my favorite general is Caesar, I love ancient history and love mixing it into my stories like it "Setup", so if anything you learned something today. I'm gonna take a little break and enjoy my new game with my new graphics card, but don't worry I won't be long.
