Anny and Jade - (Song for atmosphere: Avernus - Sirya (Mike Foyle Remix) )
This isn't a shower themed story at all, but I did dream it up in the shower. Writing this was euphoric. It brought tears to my eyes. I chose the song for atmosphere because I had it playing while I was writing it and it felt perfect. Upon playing the song and reading the story to myself, it follows the story perfectly if read at the right pace. At first I read it too fast and skimmed because I knew the story but I went back and read it word for word, let it sink in, and it synced perfectly. I hope it feels the same way for anyone that reads it and I hope anyone who does plays the song at the same time.

Anny was somehow still focused in the fatiguing haze of ceaselesscaffeine-fueled activity that Jade was becoming enshrouded by. Anny's constant rapid-fire ticks and tacks on his keyboardacross the room began to echo in Jade's fading consciousness when it suddenly stopped, Anny grabbed a piece of paper, and a faint, "pphhhht," commanded the sudden flick of Jade's ears in alert."I knew it...", Jade thought with accusation in his eyes. Jade swivelled his chair around, stood up quietly, and casually approached Anny in silence. Anny felt something strange. The instant he took his eyes off his work- WAM! Jade has slammed his hand on Anny's desk.With an alarming thud, Anny was suddenly gazing at a confusingly expressive Jade. He'd never seen Jade's eyes so sharp. Something in Anny began to quiver so subtly. His nerves were aware of something that he apparently wasn't. He was in dangeralthough he was unsure of what kind.
"I knew it.." Jade said sternly yet with a tone that relaxed Anny a little. However, unaware of Jade's intentions, Anny was annoyed at the disruption in his focus."What?!" he snapped. His ever-so-suddenly alerted nerves forcing out more than he'd intended. Regardless, Jade's tone did not change."I knew you were lying." "About what?"Anny was genuinely unsure what Jade was getting at but he knew something was slowly approaching his awareness."Don't act like you don't know.""Know what!? What are you talking about? We don't have this kind of time!" Anny's nerves were getting to him. He never liked this kind of confrontation whether he knew why or not. Then it struck him.A sudden spike of adrenaline and fear ripped through his body and overtook him. Jade saw it yet never broke his gaze. In the space of half a second, Anny's eyes had fully dilated and returned. It took everything he had to restrain his entirebody's urge to tremble. He was found. To someone, Jade of all people, he was finally naked. He was cornered.
A silence had come over them as Anny fought through his emotions. Jade's expression slowly relaxed to a softfeminine gaze. His subtle loving smirk sent more confusion into Anny's already explosive electric fray of conflicting emotion.Without any space for reaction in Anny's entangled state, Jade seized the scruff of Anny's neck, reeled him in with alarming speed, and touched his lips to Anny's. Anny's mind exploded as Jade's soft warm tongue lovingly slid to the back of his throat and back along the roof of his mouth.Anny ripped himself away from Jade and collapsed to his knees. The conflict in him had come to a razor's edge. His heartwas
pounding at a pace he'd never thought possible. Jade stood there knowing there was little he could do from this point on. He waited. Emitting the brilliance of the heart'sreality with love's intent into the space around them. His glowing expression statuesque. Anny, now slumped over as his veins boiled, was on the verge of losing consciousness. With what felt like the fatal mounting of his agony, Jade touched his shoulder. A soothing flash echoed through Anny's body. He stared at the floor, his mind in morass as all faded to static and left him. A slight panic returned as his vision faded to black. He left consciousness.
Anny returned quickly. Jade met him there with the same expression he'd seen before it all started. This time, however,his heart melted with relief. Jade brought him to his feet, something that had never felt so easy. Unable to contain himself, a streamof tears coursed down Anny's face. His eyes gleamed. He grabbed Jade and nearly squeezed the life out of him. "Hey!.. ugh.. EASY!!" Jade barely managed to utter as he felt his spine beginning to torque out of place.As Anny released, he noticed the clothes Jade wore had absorbed just about every ounce of sweat that had poured out of him. Jade stood there, hand's still raised, and looked at himself and Anny. After a few moment's pause, before Anny could say anything, "We should shower."
