So, I made a journal asking for ideas for stories. Then while in kitsunekit's livestream, others threw in ideas as well, one being the same as the journal idea.

So here we go, a Macro March story of a pair of Ottsel brother's who buy a new Rampage game, only to find out its not a game anymore!

I also apologize if I don't seem to get the ottsel itself correct, first time writing using them, and did my best from pics I saw. Yes, the story is a bit on the short side, but I wanted it to be more of a fun one.

P.S. I always win.

Ottsel Rampage Revolution!

"Come on bro! Come on! Hurry up and open it! I've been dying to play this all week!" A dark blue ottsel tossed a controller back and forth between his paws as he watched his brother struggle with the plastic wrapping around the game case. The lighter blue ottsel finally gave up with using his fingers and bit at the plastic before finally getting a tear, proceeding to quickly unwrap it.

"Settle down Kev, I'm getting it." He huffed as he slid the disc into the PlayboxU, grabbing his own controller and quickly sitting beside his sibling.

"Pft, you're just as anxious as me Dale. The trailers to this game looked so awesome! I can't wait!" Kev smirked as he snagged the case from the floor. Reading to himself.

Rampage Revolution! Become a menacing giant that grows larger the higher you score, allowing you to smash even larger targets! Be creative at how you destroy things! The better something gets destroyed, the higher the points, the bigger you get! The sky's the limit!

The back of the box showed pictures of different characters, looking so realistic with the game's engine it was as if the were taken inside the game! Finally, something that would stress test the next gen console's capabilities!

The game finally beeped to life on the TV, with the title smack dab in the middle, as a scrolling scene of untouched city below went by, as if asking to be smashed. Dale quickly scrolled passed single and online to quickly hit Co-op. But once he did, the TV suddenly beeped and went black, as if turned off.

"Whoa whoa! What happened? Did the system crash?" Kev panicked as Dale dove forward. The light in front of the system was off. He quickly pressed it on and off, to no avail.

"Oh come on! Don't tell me I got the red square of death now!" He wailed, looking at the power button to see if the color had indeed gone red. He let out a small sigh of relief to see it just wasn't on.

"Maybe the fuse blew?" Kev suggested.

"Nah, or else the lights would be off too."

"Power supply went bad?"

"It could have. But I just played it this morning and it worked fine!" Dale groaned and tugged at his long ears.

"Well, try it again now. Maybe the first time just overheated it. It could've cooled off."

Dale got back down on his knees, before looking confused. Wait. He never had to bend down this far before to press the button. And as he did so, the button seemed much smaller than it usually was.

"Uh...bro? I think something weird is going on...!" Dale looked back to see his brother standing, looking down at himself, his ears brushing the ceiling.

"What the heck?" He jumped to his feet as well, a bad move as his head rammed against the ceiling, making a small indent.

"What's going on? Why are we growing?" Kev started to hunch down as Dale pressed his back against the ceiling.

"I don't know, but we gotta get out of here before we wreck the house!" Dale shoved his brother forward as he crawled on all fours, trying to squeeze out the doorway, but his growth was kicking it up a notch, wedging him in between the frames.

"Ow! Stop! I'm stuck! I'm stuck!" His brother kicked back, causing Dale to duck as the big paw sailed over his head.

"Careful! Stop squirming and just pull yourself forward!" Dale grunted, pushing against his brother's rear to try and get him free.

"Its...not working! I'm getting too big!" Kev groaned, Dale starting to panic more as well as even on all fours, his back was against the ceiling once again. The door frame was starting to crack and bend at his brother's waist, the wood noisily splintering as Dale tried to curl up into a ball as he began to take up the whole room, feeling everything crush and crumble under his expanding bulk.

"Please stop...please stop...."

Outside in the suburban neighborhood, furs walking by could hear the shouts from the Ottsels' home. Some stopped, wondering what was all the commotion about, only to be suddenly surprised as a massive light blue foot came crashing out the one wall, then a massive dark blue hand erupting from the front windows. Furs either screamed and ran or stepped back and watched as the house seems to explode outwards as two growing ottsels coughed and groaned from the dust, standing and looking down at their massive forms, which finally seems to be slowing in growth.

"Kev...we're huge! How did this happen?" Dale looked at his brother, who was trying to rub his eyes clean.

"How am I suppose to know!" He looked about, seeing some gawkers. "Take a picture, it'll last longer!" As some furs who had their cellphones out did so, while others either recorded or were calling the police.

"Okay, okay. We just need to stay calm and wait for help. We have to be like, thirty feet tall, so no need to really panic." Dale patted his bro on the shoulder.

"Fine. Though I don't know how they're gonna fix us." He grumbled, not watching where he was sitting and crumpling a car under his rump.

"Oops."

"Kev! Watch what your-" Dale didn't finish as he watched a stupid grin form on his brother's face, seeming to space out a second as a few more feet were added to his height. "How did you..."

"Whoa! What a rush! That felt awesome!" Kev jumped back onto his feet, the quake just large enough to set off car alarms. "Hey! Quiet down!" Kev smirked, stomping on each car along the street that was going off.

"Kev! Stop that!" Dale grabbed his brother's arm to pull him back, only to gasp as he felt it swelling under him, pulling him upwards as Kev grew once again. The larger dark blue ottsel laughed, looking down at his chest high brother.

"Dale! I think this IS the game now! It made us huge, and the more we destroy, the bigger we get!" To show he kicked over a few mail boxes easily, crashing them into homes while crunching lawn decorations at their neighbors, each action swelling him slightly more.

"Kev! Stop that! You could kill someone!" Dale tried tackling his brother, who only sidestepped, causing the flying ottsel to skid right into a neighbor's home, destroying the first half of it. A lot moan escaped his muzzle as he too began to expand, only to push into the home more, further destroying it, further increasing his size till it was all flattened or caved in. He stood back up, now slightly larger than his misbehaving sibling.

"That's no fair. I was winning!" Kev pouted, looking up at his bro.

"It's your fault anyway! Now stop before we get into trouble!" Dale grabbed Kev's arm, trying to hold him back.

"Aww fine. You never let me have fun." Kev pouted, before grinning as he whipped his tail and cracked it into the side of one home, continuing on into the next. The effect was instantaneous as he began to outgrow his brother. Dale gasped as he had to reach higher and higher to hold on to the arm before letting go, backing up a bit.

"You can sit here and be boring. I'm gonna go enjoy myself!" The dark blue ottsel shoved his brother, knocking him back into a few other homes and vehicles. But instead of Dale growing, Kev grew more, smirking. "Oh yeah, the more creative you are in the destruction, the more you grow! I guess using you as a prop was a bonus to me!" He laughed, breaching the 100ft mark before strolling off down the street, each foot fall landing on a car, telephone poll, anything that was left in his path, only adding to his height.

Dale groaned and rubbed his head, shaking it before standing up. He had to stop his brother, but he was too big now, and the only way to grow was to destroy stuff. He grimaced as he looked about already at the destruction.

"I'm really sorry bout this folks. But if I want to stop my brother, I gotta get destructive myself." He took a deep breath before lifting a foot and slamming it into the remains of a home, only gaining a few feet. He tried crushing some patio furniture next, compacting a car between his hands, and kicking things into the distance, but he wasn't growing fast enough.

"Okay, what did Kev say? The more creative, the better the growth. So, I have to be creative..." He quickly grabbed what unscathed vehicles were left, making an unsteady pyramid before doing a slight jump and elbow dropping down onto the wreckage. It still hurt with the impact, but the pain was quickly replaced by the bliss as he quickly began to zoom up faster.

"All right! I think I get it now!" He smirked, before leaping up into the air, doing a belly flop onto a pool, flattening it instantly as his outstretched arms and legs crushed homes, his form starting to zoom up once again, finally hitting 100ft as well.

"Okay, I think I did enough damage out here, not much left for me to grow off of. I gotta get to the city before Kev destroys most of it and is impossible to catch!" He trekked his own way into the city, doing the same as Kev and crushing what he could on the way. Unfortunately, he only got more worried as he could see Kev's recent footprints, and watch as the path in the asphalt only widened to bigger and bigger prints.

There was already chaos around him as he enter. Furs turning and heading the other way once they saw him, screaming once more.

"Sorry! Sorry! Don't worry! I'm gonna try and stop him!" Dale tried to calm them down, but it proved futile. Sighing, he looked around. There were still some structures taller than him that he couldn't destroy yet, and probably Kev couldn't either. But he knew they would be worth big points if he could be creative about it. He snapped his fingers as he quickly moved to the nearby gas station, grabbing all the gas tanks and the large one in the back used for filling up the smaller ones, and placed them all behind a building just about his height and next to an even larger structure. He stood off to the side and lined up his thick tail, shaking his hips to gain momentum before cracking it against the bottom of the first structure. It shuddered and cracked at the base, but didn't budge. Gritting his teeth, Dale tried again, only causing the building to shift a bit more. Thinking again, he strode back a bit, and wiped his paws on the road, tearing it up and adding a bit more to his height as he braced himself and sprinted full force at the building, quickly drop kicking it. The wall caved in where his feet connected, but the building tumbled, falling forward and crashing into the large skyscraper. The tanks did their jobs and exploded once the first building came tumbling down, helping to weaken the base of the first building as it soon began to collapse in on itself.

"Yes! Whoa...!" The light blue ottsel staggered as he began to zoom up in size, quickly, getting a feeling of vertical as he began to look over more rooftops now, gasping at his new size.

"I guess that was pretty creative..." he chuckled, his smile quickly fading as the explosion had apparently garnered unwanted attention.

"Oh hey lil bro! Enjoying yourself?" The earth shook as Kev stomped forward, Dale barely coming up to his waist now despite having grown so much.

"Kev! We have to stop!" Dale might as well been talking to a brick wall as Kev easily pushed over a small hotel, adding to his size.

"No way! Look how big I am! If I keep this up, I may be able to squash a city with my toe!" He laughed, starting to charge. Dale looked about, trying to think quickly before he grabbed an oil tanker, hurling it at his bro's face. The tank immediately split up, causing the larger ottsel to cry out and wipe his eyes, stopping in his tracks.

"No fair! That's cheating!" His eyes watered, trying to assist in clearing the mess. Dale didn't give him enough time before charging as hard as he could, jumping and shoulder rushing his bro in the stomach. The massive ottsel let out an 'oof' as he began to fall back, crashing into one skyscraper, causing it to fall back and fall into another and another with the domino effect. Dale groaned as he felt the growth rushing through him, his paws starting to cover more and more of the street, barreling over anything in their way, only to add more height to him. His thickened and growing tail wagged back and forth into other structures, demolishing the gas station and causing it to explode, the fire not even leaving a mark on his fur as he climbed higher.

"Whoa...okay...okay....I can't stop!" He gasped, his voice alone starting to shatter windows that were close to him, his hips barreling into buildings and knocking them over, the light blue ottsel seeming to be stuck in an endless loop.

Kev finally wiped his eyes clean, gawking up at his expanding brother and the destruction around him. The street finally caved, causing his paws to smash into the subway system, further causing another expansion. The dark blue ottsel scrambled back as those paws starting coming towards him, crashing through and destroying what he could to try and climb back up in size before it was too late. He finally had an idea for his own creative destruction when a massive shadow over took him. Looking up, he gasped as he saw his brother's rear crashing down, giving a futile scream before being smothered, the dark blue ottsel barely action figured sized to his sibling now as the growth around him began to slow. His head at least poking out the side so he could breath, but unable to move.

"Finally got you." Dale boomed from above, scowling down with his arms crossed.

"Okay! I'm sorry! Just don't pop me! Geesh!" Kev groaned, slumping in defeat. Dale let out a small sigh of relief, being careful to not blow anything over. The tallest structure was eye level with him now sitting, which he estimated himself at least 600 to 700ft tall. He admitted to himself this was pretty cool, but not something he wanted to stay at. Now all he had to do was figure out a way to get back to normal.

Unfortunately, he didn't get to think long as the ground began to quake, this time much harder than when it had with Kev. Dale quickly looked down at his brother, expecting some kind of trick, but the dark blue ottsel was still there, still the same size, but jaw unhinged as he made a weird squeaking noise looking up. Dale turned slowly as a massive shadow began to over take him, starting to look up and up and up as a massive white paw crashed just outside the city limits, the appendage itself at least half the size of the city. Following it up and up, it connected to what had to be the biggest blue and white border collie he had ever seen! The mega macro smirking as he crouched down, peering at the "tiny" light blue ottsel.

"Well, looks like you grew big enough to enter online mode. You know what happens now right?" He voice almost knocked Dale over, both ottsels flattening their ears from the voice. The collie didn't wait for a response.

"That means you just entered into the Player vs Player mode. Where smushing another macro means you get their height, and more points!" He laughed as he raised his hand over Dale, grinning wickedly.

"No, no, no, no!" Dale couldn't move in time before the hand slammed down, everything going black.

"Ahhh!" Dale quickly sat up from the floor, gasping for breath as he clung the controller in his hands to his chest, his fingers ice cold and palms sweaty as everything looked back to normal. The TV was back on, the title screen once more playing and asking to press start. Kev was there as well, the same look on his face with all the color drained from it.

"Did we...somehow have the same dream?" Dale asked, shakily standing.

"You mean where it was like the game became real and we grew massive. And then that mega collie showed up?" Kev shuddered, still feeling like he was squashed. Dale nodded, then quickly turned off the console and grabbed the disc, shoving it back into the case.

"I don't know about you, but I don't want to play anymore. Want to come along as I return this and get a more relaxing game?" Dale finally let his body go slack, feeling drained.

"Yeah, maybe a simple racing game will do." Kev tossed his controller and hopped up as Dale grabbed his keys, the dark blue ottsel heading out the door first and quickly stopping.

"Kev? What's wrong?" Dale gulped as he walked outside, following his brother's gaze. The game and keys dropped from his hands along with his jaw. Right before them was the massive collie, bigger now than before as he lifted up a massive paw, covering both the city and the suburbs.

"10,000 points!" He yelled out as the paw came crashing down.
