Macro March
A very short growth story involving yours truly celebrating Macro March. What is Macro March you say? Simple, celebrate being huge and all gianty. Its just a time for anyone to be big (or bigger for some of you :p).
Macro March
Sero grunted as he made the final turns with his wrench on the final cog of his machine. He was still in the prototype stages of his experiment, but the payoff would be huge if he succeeded.
He flicked a few switches, pulling down a lever as the ray began to warm up, a slight humming sound filling the room. His target was a small red apple sitting on a stand ten feet away, the ray aiming downwards at it's target. Sero waited till the gauge said 'Max' before pressing the red fire button, but nothing happened. Growling, he pressed it again and again, but still nothing!
"Stupid machine! Work!" He gave the side a swift kick, hurting his foot in the process against the metal siding as the ray swayed a bit, discharging its blast. Unfortunately, the movement from the kick had knocked it off target, the beam bouncing off the floor and against the wall, zooming back and striking the collie right in the chest, causing him to fly back onto the floor.
"Uh oh..." He groaned, already feeling the effects as he rapidly began to expand, his clothing tightening and tearing to shreds as he tried to run for the doorway, but the growth was too fast. His head soon hit the ceiling, causing him to grunt and get down on his knees, trying to stay away from the walls and ceiling as best as he could, hoping the growth would end soon.
It didn't.
His feet began to push against the walls, even laying down he saw the ceiling nearing his nose as he began to get scrunched up in the now tiny lab. The ray was easily crushed under his bulk, as well as any other machinery as he sighed. Not willing to wait any longer, he began to push and break his way out, feeling the walls giving and the ceiling crashing down on top of him as he grew upwards, standing.
Furs on the street stopped and stared as the giant blue and white collie stepped out of the remains of his lab, dusting himself off of the debris and checking for any injuries. Normally there would be panic on the streets, but many knew of the collie's experiments and this wasn't the first time they dealt with someone his size.
"Sorry everyone. I'll head out of the city to cause little damage." He bellowed, cresting over 100ft as he carefully made his way out of the city, still expanding at an alarming rate. By the time he thought he reached a safe distance, his foot alone was nearly about to crush the tiny civilization just by growing over it. He let out a deep sigh.
"Well, I guess this is one way to start off the month of March."
