Feir Pyrolight's Journal

Feir Pyrolight (Fey-err Pie-roh-light) is a red fox with anger issues, as is typical of a necromancer. He's been wanted among the low city authorities for burning federal buildings. Deemed an arsonist, not very many people actually know he's a fire elementalist. He doesn't put trust in many other people or anthros. As a result, he's become more distant than misfits, and doesn't feel as though he belongs.   Feir's beliefs couldn't be stronger, and those beliefs include a livid dislike for necromancy and overall defiling of the dead. He makes a point of incinerating any necromancers and their minions if he comes across any. Strange that he ends up as Nick's closest friend.   Feir's journals, while they are journals, per se, aren't really accounts of the daily events as much as "field reports." If asked, Feir would say he would like to remember what a monster he was should he ever regain his sanity.   Year 40XX, Month 6, Week 2, Days 1-3Dear myself,You killed five necromancers today. And the Pinnacle Legislative Building? It's in ashes thanks to you. My God, you're like a monster. I couldn't help myself. At minimum five lives were lost today. Will the slaughter ever stop?   Year 40XX, Month 6, Week 2, Days 4 & 5Dear me, you're an absolute horror. Killed ten people at least, enjoying every last second of it. Why do I never stop myself in the act of this insane massacre?   "This one is dangerous," One said, "We must off him."   Another protested, "Give him a chance. You can see the remorse in his eyes."   "Why does that sound like a good idea? I'll take you on your word, but if you're wrong you've ruined the anthros' chances of having high-level jobs." Another exhaled. He was thankful that his power was subtle. Persuasion...he must keep record of this. "I don't think you'll be seeing any more of the subjects. You feel too much sympathy for them."   "As if I have a choice." Another muttered.   "I'll be back to give you your transfer information." One said. Another knew from experience that the transfer would not be a good thing...
