Far below the surface of Jawbone Isle under the great lighthouse tower of Freakport in a secret sub pen that was built without Director Gorelock's notice of approval rests a sleek shark shaped submarine made of blackened meteoric iron and tinted and enchanted glass. Modeled after the megalodon, a much larger and more primitive ancestor of the Great White, the Dark Shark is being loaded and checked over in preparation for her maiden voyage. A black furred wolf with red hair and gray eyes in dark gray leather armor speaks with a badger in workman's leathers as otters, monkeys and other assorted furs carry out what needs to be done so the Dark Shark can prowl the seas.

"Preparations are nearly, complete, Captain Fenryx," the badger beams as he and Fen walk towards a square blowhole/access hatch on top of the ship. "Fortunately for us Leader Gearlock is too distracted with those rival pirates from the Jade Dragon Empire to go rooting us out?"

"That's good, Brom," Fenryx says evenly as they climb the ladder down to the control room. "I've been having Mikiko salt the ether so to speak in feeding both sides. The results have been promising."

The control room is amazing in its lay out and alchemical mesh of science and sorcery. Otters, monkeys, rats, foxes and badgers among other species attend various screens with displays of the internal workings of the internal workings of the ship both inside and out. Fenryx actually recognizes a few of those scurrying about as other Cabal members closely allied with Evelyn at one point including elves, dwarves and gnomes that he would converse with amiably.

"How many of the Cabal has been converted, Brom?" Fenryx asks in all seriousness to which Brom just sighs.

"Everyone of our little circle of friends are now beast folk," Brom admits with another heavy sigh. "I managed topull some strings on your behalf to have them assigned to a special project; didn't say what but you have a full crew. We're dedicated to making this experiment work. The ironic thing is that from its inception Eve wanted you to run this as skipper."

I can understand why though," Fenryx says with a smirk. "She had control over me when she was an elf so she knew I could be trusted."

"Not only that," a vixen with pink hair in a bondage harness that shows off her breasts and sex says as she sashays her way towards them. "But you're an experienced pirate who knows the business more than most. Plus some of the sessions in the crystal web..."

"Even with the secret ladders and elevators to the various islands of Broken Teeth and beyond, Evelyn," Fenryx says to his former mistress and current slave. "There is much to be accomplished. I've looked at some of the designs for this boat and I'm somewhat anxious to do more than sink ships to recover their cargoes. There are the rumors of the Sunken City I want to check out at some point."

"If it's real," Eve teases before giving him a kiss. "I have an outfit for you in your cabin. Among other things..."

"How close are we to launching, Brom?" Fenryx asks as he ascends the dais overlooking the control chamber with Evelyn in tow.

"We're all packed and ready to go now," Brom says as Evelyn kneels before her master.

"Take us down and activate the view screens," Fenryx orders as Evelyn starts to undo his front. "Time to hunt."

Ballast tanks fill and a turbine in the tail starts to turn as the sleek craft starts to submerge. Inside the control chamber the crystal screens display graphs and charts as well as an underwater view of the world beyond their ship via sensors built of sorcery and science. While initially there is not much to see besides the stone walls and floor of the chamber and an odd fish or three and the usual sea bottom inhabitants this in and of itself is quite the sight to see in the manner in which it is being viewed.

About one hundred miles from the mouth of the sea cave near the light house tower that the secret sub pen in located the order is given to once again rise. Only the sleek craft's blade like dorsal fin is allowed to breaks the surface. To anyone else who knows not yet the difference, it looks an extraordinary megalodon is swimming about but through Evelyn's design this allows the the Captain to view the surface of the waves like a periscope camera.

Making its way to Freakport but still a good two hundred miles away is a mighty galleon only barely seen on the horizon because of its massive size. As it is the only ship on the horizon it automatically becomes a targert. Upon rising to the surface a mechanical bird is released to spy on the ship while the Dark Shark gets a little closer.

Inside the Dark Shark's control chamber Fenryx gets a a bird's eye view as the pirate submarine submerges once more. The galleon is a war ship probably carrying an ambassador from a foreign power. Fenryx recognizes the flag as belonging to a human nation especially hostile to beast folk, elves and all other non-humans.

Well known is the Captain of this vessel to Fenryx as a pirate hunter who has a burning hatred of all beast folk as a mockery of the human form and thus an abomination to be wiped clean from the slate of all creation. In particular he seeks Fenryx himself for the death of a few of his sons, their lives taken in formal sword duels in which not only did he kill the human fops he used a broad sword to do so against the rabbit quick rapiers wielded by his now dead opponents. A part of him now wishes he had taken their severed heads as trophies if only to spite the father of their now lifeless owners.

"What amuses you so, Master?" Evelyn asks between bobs of her head as she deep throats Fenryx.

"Some two hundred miles from us is the Beacon of Purity, flag ship of a fairly ubiquitous pirate hunter," Fenryx states. "Captain Edward Farquad has wanted my head on a pike for some time now."

"You killed five of his sons," Evelyn says. "Granted it was in a series of formal duels. I swear those twin dueling dueling broad swords of yours were positively enchanted the way you can use them so deftly."

"Neither Scissor nor Razor are enchanted that I know of," Fenryx says honestly as Farquad takes a rifle to shatter the spy. "Such unsportsmanlike conduct, we really do need to teach him a lesson."

"Your orders, Captain?" Brom asks rhetorically.

"Take us up to slashing depth and cut his precious ship to ribbons, Brom," Fenryx orders. "His will be test of the effectiveness of this pirate submarine."

"Consider it done," Brom says with a sinister Smile.

A speeding fin should be cause for alarm if the crew of the Beacon knew what the blade like fin was attached to, as one of Farquad's sons shows defiance by pissing into the water from the main deck as the first pass will hit mid ship. Imagine his surprise getting bisected as the fin goes through the ship like a hot knife through butter. Down below one of Farquad's son is getting butt fucked while sucking off a fellow crew member when the giant fin tears through and cuts him in half as well.

The Beacon starts to sink quickly from the critical hit imposed on it from the Dark Shark. While the irony of this is lost on the good captain the crew of the Dark Shark are celebrating as the sub submerges to claim its prizes. Evelyn leads Fenryx back for a more private parts when something on the sea floor catches his eye.

What looks like the ruins of an ancient city of great size and the thoroughly weird architecture appears on the view screen. Here lies the sunken city that Fenryx has heard wild tales in the taverns of Freakport. Evelyn is shocking to find the stories she had always thought to be the fever dreamed fantasies of drunken sailors to be something very very real.

"Mark this spot, Evelyn," Fenryx orders. "After we salvage the wreck of the Beacon and go back home to sort it all out I want to come back here."

"I will mark it well, Master," Evelyn says seriously. "I'm going to need some additional materials from Broken to redo what I have made. It take more than the fish rings I forged to explore those ruins I fear."

"Ye may need to make those special mithril shirts I heard someone talk about a week or so ago." Brom offers. "And getting them won't be cheap. But who knows what lurks in those ruins?"

"That's something I intend to find out," Fen says earnestly. "That's something I intend to find out.

With that Fen and Eve retire to his chamber leaving temporary command to Brom who leaves to check on the engine room. In his stat room that is a combination of bedroom and office Fenryx is pleased to find a desk with the same sort of crystal touch screen as on his dais. The bed is as big as it can get in this limited space with chains and cuffs that are not obviously there but easily located if one knows where to look.

Unbidden, Evelyn climbs into bed and spreads herself for her master. Fenryx follows soon after to close the cuffs around her wrists and ankles; making sure her legs are spread far apart for his own convenience to which Eve just smiles and wants for her master's penetration. As a way of teasing her and to stimulate himself Fen licks and suckles her tits as he fondles her clitoris and labia as well as his own scrotum which causes Eve to quiver in anticipation.

Fenryx smirks to himself as he remembers how often he would be the one bound for her pleasure as he rubs his emerging cock head against her clit and labia to tease and prepare her for his penetration. When he finally does enter her, Evelyn's labia lips almost devour his phallus like a second toothless mouth. Her arms and legs may be restrained but Evelyn still has full control at her own cunny walls that squeeze and caresses Fenryx's shaft as pleasurably and lustily as if she were deep throating him in a different way.

The control Evelyn still exerts as he violates her sex amuses Fenryx who ramrods her as best he can. His Shaft plunges deeply into her pussy before he egress but not totally as he thrusts back in just as deeply. If it wasn't for the fact that the vixen is a fully complacent and compliant participant the ravaging that is going on might be considered quite savage his knot starts to form.

While the emerging knot makes lateral movement increasingly difficult at best the suckling assault on on her tits goes on unabated. His muzzle encapsulates her breast one at a time with his tongue at play with her nipples and when his knot seals in her crevasse the grinding of the hips that sends his hardened shaft careening off her walls and bouncing practically all about her insides begins in earnest.

As Evelyn reacquaints herself with parts of Fenryx Brom wants no part of, the badger visits the engine room or as he likes to call it when he's in a grandiose mood: The cathedral of Grand Alchemy. In a ways this is the Dark Shark's true beating heart, a monument for the unlikely marriage of Sorcery and Science unlike the control chamber which can likened to the brain. Of all three vital areas of the Dark Shark this chamber is where his pride swells most.

The man engine rises from the floor to merge its head with the ceiling like an infernal rumbles as if suffering from some unholy hunger for which it will never ever be fully satisfied. Lesser engine containing demonic entities of living flame and water constantly battling one another with the steam given off from their struggles feeding the magics of the main engine whose chambers are filled with the very essences of life and anti-life clashing and fighting eternally, the raw power of all these assorted battles used to light the corridors and powers various effects about the ship.

Among the effects powered by the cruel games being waged in th engine rooms the mighty turbines pushing the great craft forward in the water. Spinning gears turn the great screws as pivoting veins in the side fins and tail help change direction up or down or left or right. Brom watches the workings with pride knowing these are designs implemented and working just as he had envisioned it when he was still a dwarf and not a badger.

In a queer way he's actually glad of his new form. His only regret was that it cost him his familiar Dewclaw. But in a sense the two are closer than ever now so in Brom's mind this was probably for the best.

Brom attends the equipment himself, helping a few other badgers in the process. Pride swells in Brom;s heart as they ensure power for the whole of the ship. And under the original plan he and Evelyn would not be here for they planned all along that the Dark Shark would be crewed by Beast Folk only so as to ward off any uncomfortable inquires from Leader Gorelock.

Even now all Leader Gorelock is that Fenryx is out at sea and assumes he's on some sailing vessel. As long as there is tribute for him later he won't care where they return from either. In the mouth of the shark otters gather and check the equipment for any defects.

Jason and his otters demolition team are ready to go out and gather prizes to take home. Once they were a tribe of pirate half-elves until Evelyn through her proxy Fenryx captured them and turned them over to the cabal who made them all otters. Now they can hold their collective breath longer than they could have before and they still get to act as pirates so Jason and his mates are only too happy to work for Fenryx.

For the work they are about to do Evelyn has given them enchanted torcs that allow them to breathe water as well as air. This gift alone was unnecessary but the otters treasure of highly and count as one more reason why they accept Fenryx as their Captain to obey and would lay down their lives if need be. Of course Fenryx hopes it never comes to that but he appreciates their loyalty.

Once they are ready to go, the chamber is sealed and flooded so they can harvest the cargo. The torcs work as promised much to the glee of the otters who swim out as a unit armed with tridents that are also enchanted. Piercing type weapons like spears work best underwater and tridents have been the symbols and weapons of choice for many sea gods so they are preferred for this sort of operation both for defense and a possible tool.

Each otter also carries a net to carry things with as the swim towards the wreck. As they start to net some of the cargo they find they are not the only sentients down here. Crab and lobster centaur like beings also dwell here and they don't take kindly to visitors.

Both species feature humanoid torso rising from crustacean bodies with menacing looking claws of a tri fold symmetry that enables them to function like hands. The crab creatures stand about four feet tall with faces that merge the features of a normal human in miniature with that of the crustacean their non-human lower portion resembles. The lobster things are very much in the same vein as their smaller cousins but in a larger five foot tall and long and looking like an anthropomorphic lobster in their torsos as opposed to an anthropomorphic crab like the smaller beings scuttling around them.

Almost hidden among the weird crustacean centaurs is a sinister seeming ten armed octopus of mauve skin and solid milky white eyes. Far from blind it rises up and alters its shape from a sprawled out radial symmetry of a standard octopus to something resembling a human retaining its octopoid head and a quartet of tentacles enshrouding its mouth as the rest of the tentacles and mass forms an asexual torso of two arms with clawed hands and two legs with clawed feet. The crab and lobster things form protective walls in concentric rings around it and as the otters approach the octopus-man points at them with a look in its eyes that speaks volumes of disapproval.

"Who dares to trespass on the territory of the Krakatoa Collective?" The octopoid thing telepathically broadcasts in a challenging tone with a menacing sibilant voice.

"We, de otters of the pirate submarine Dark Shark do, ugly!" Jason yells at in defiance. "These over sized crabs and lobsters are faking things from one of OUR kills." The he looks back at the other eleven otters of the team. "Fan out and grab whatcha can! Dis is our loot and nobody is gonna keep us from the spoils of our labors!"

"My crabbox and lobbox slaves will stop you!" The Krakatoa warns and silent commands its soldiers to attack!"

"Eat steel, ugly!" Jason bellows and arms his trident at the Krakatoa.

The Krakatoa starts to laugh at Jason when the middle tine of the spear shoots out and hits it square in the chest and discharges a massive jolt of electricity. It swims back and changes back to its ten armed octopus form to retreat as its slaves attack. Jason spear has another spine slides into place as arcs of lightning forms between the tines.

Using piscatorial gladiator tactics the otters devastate their opponents. The tactics of using net and electrified trident works so well, Jason forms a plan to turn this to their advantage. While he and six other otters keep the monsters busy the other five members of his team snatch what they can and get it back to the ship.

As one might expect Mister Tentacle doesn't like the fact that its servants so easily and goes on the offensive. It wraps arms around a female as she just floats there hypnotized by the patterns that the Krakatoa flashes on its skin. When it releases her, her body has a big hole where her heart is located as the lobbox and a crabbox devour her now life less body.

It then kills two males in the same manner before Jason sounds the retreat as a sea witch casts a spell to summon a hungry plesiosaur or three to start eating their carapaced opponents and their sinister boss. Conceding the field, Jason and his team grab some more stuff before heading back to the sub. All said and done they did haul in quite a bit but left more to their opponents even if they did manage to claim the lion's share of what was available.

Unfortunately for the crew of the Dark Shark, the Krakatoa is not about to let the pirates absconds with their boots so easily. What was a man sized enlarges itself to the general weight class of an ogre and swims towards the submarine as the sub closes its metal mouth. But if the alien octopus thinks the sub has only the divers to defend itself it is sadly mistaken.

Not wanting to disturb the Captain's debauchery Brom electrifies the hull and activates sonic emitters in the front of the ship that releases wave after wave of harmonic hammers that hit hard as the Dark Shark leaves the vicinity. It tries to attack from the rear only to find that the tail is another focal point for the disruptive harmonics that send the thing reeling with a scrambled brain.

The thing angrily waves its tentacles at the fleeing submarine. Inside the Dark Shark Brom and Jason start the process of going through what they took in the hold. Not long after they had begun them, Fenryx and Evelyn make an appearance to inspect the haul and talk to Jason about just what the Hell they fought out there.

"Anything worth keeping so far?" Fenryx asks half in jest. "Jason, I saw you and your crew ran into some trouble; what happened?"

"We met some friends, Cap'n,"Jason says sarcastically. "Some of my team are in the infirmary after meeting that Krakatoa and its crabbox and lobbox goons."

"Is that what it called itself?" Eve asks to which Jason just nods. "I know I've heard the name Krakatoa. If I can access the Cabal's library or at least our portal to the Library of Lost Lore. I'd like to do some research."

"That's not a bad idea," Brom says seriously. "I'll need to look around in there myself for a few things to counteract that octopus demon next time."

"Not a demon, Brom," Jason says to correct the badger. "I've faced those before and it didn't feel like that kind of other worldly. Alien to be sure but in an infernal manner. I don't know quite how to put it."

"Ever tangle with a gibber gazer, Jace?" Fen asks. "I've faced that kind of wrongness before. I know you have some ranger training like me. Back in college they called them aberrations or some such name."

"That's it!" Jason exclaims. "That's exactly what I felt, Captain, I couldn't put a claw on the term. You were a year or two ahead of me in Warrior College. We both joined the Sea Lord's temple and took classes with the druids."

"That's right, I was human then," Fen says as he gets vague recollections about that time in his life. "Wouldn't go back to that form if I had the oppurtunity though."

"Neither would I, Fen, neither would I," Jason says with a smirk.

Between the four of them a trip to the Labyrinthine Library of Lost Lore is planned. The dimensions endless stacks of tomes are a mecca of scholars of many realities and cater to those who seek knowledge and/or inspiration. How ever before they can attempt an excursion there a trip to the Broken Teeth is in order.

Evelyn and Brom come up with a list of things Fenryx will need to get as they sort the loot for items to trade. They also compile a list that will circulated among the crew of goods to choose for their shares as pirates. Finally they set aside some choice bits to deliver to Leader Gorelock as his share of the loot.

The Beacon is the only the first prize they take before going home. In total twenty ships fall to the Dark Shark's maiden hunt so that in a month's time since they left Freakport each member of the crew gets enough boots to live like a king for a few weeks. Although officially Brom's and Evelyn's shares pad Fenryx's he lets them have what they want; mainly because what they want will go for repairs, maintenance and improvements when Brom gets that sort of inspiration.

All in all a successful launch. The equipment worked as good as it was hoped and better. And Gorelock has no clue as to what actually happened as each and every member of the crew knows better that to tell him what really went for the whole month with no contact with the light tower. And also the sheer amount of loot they recovered to sell make this a very profitable endeavor.
