ATHENA
(Sorry out of boredom I write)
Once upon a time in a far away place......there was a war between the species known as Homo sapiens against the Xenomorph XX121, with some interference from the Yautja or "Predators"
The humans were not doing well with fighting the Xenos and the predators, so they resorted to genetic experimentation. Which involved capturing a host with a Alien chest burster within them, and then extracting it and trying to break down the genetic code of sad creature and learn how to then manipulate it to the humans advantage. Here is the story of a surviving of the experiment, Project 1-20-8-5-14-1 or ATHENA.
"The tests have been going quite.....well" a male scientist says as he watches three "Hosts" thrash around on tables, "GET ME OUT!" One begs, the one in the middle groans weakly before slumping down, his head hitting the table with a dull thud, the third looks at the one in the middle, WHAT THE HELL?!" He says, trying to thrash out.
The male scientist writes something down on a clipboard, before pulling a small lever slowly, there is a *Click!* and the sounds of whirring, three tubes slowly lower and hover in front of the chests of the three "Hosts". The subjects begin to groan in pain, the middle human begins to convulse and shake, blood forming on the clothing on his chest, ribs and bones are heard cracking. The humans chest suddenly explodes in a spray of blood and bone shards, the other two "Hosts" gasp and try to get out, before shaking themselves, a small chest burster shoots out of the hole it made in the human and slides into the tube, the hole on the end closing to not let it out.
The other humans yell in pain, the sounds of the bones breaking are almost blocked out by the screams, the other two chest bursters shoot out into the tubes, they begin to give shrill shrieks into the air and hisses.
The scientist that was watching chuckles and presses a large red button, the tubes suddenly being filled with a blast of C02, the Xenos shriek from the blast of cold air, and then stop moving. The human scientist begins to walk into the room and grabs one tube, looking to see the tan color creature, before placing it on a tray, he then walks to the middle one, he takes out the tube, he sees the creature and places it on the tray, then he goes to the last, gasping as the tube was empty, the end of the tube was broken open. He takes the tube and looks in it, the last body begins to stir, the human body shaking violently again, the chest burster shoots out the hole again, biting into the scientists neck. The creature relished in its first kill, before the room is filled with the C02 blasts, freezing the whole room.
About a week later, the experiment deemed 1-20-8-5-14-1 is seen being held in a device that holds its head and tail end, making it unable to move, the creature hisses loudly and thrashes around, the machine quickly brings down a small rectangle of metal and holds it to the side of the creatures dome, the sounds of flesh being burned is heard and the creature shrieks in pain, the metal pulling away, showing ATHENA burned into the side of the dome. The creature slumps and passes out from pain.
More time passes and there is a small Xenomorph crawling around a room, sniffing the air as it carefully crawls in. The creature sitting on the floor and looking around, this seems to be the one with the brand, she begins to look at a large mirror in the room, on the other side there is about five scientists watching her, "She seems to like her new room" one chuckles and writes down something on a IPad, the others are writing down separate things, there is a quiet knock on the door and a elderly man walks in, "How is experiment 1-20-8-5-14-1 reacting?" He asks, going to the glass, "She seems to be adjusting well" one says, the old man, "Good, I don't want my favorite experiment getting harmed" he says, walking back to the door, "Wait, Mr. Altman!" One says, the elderly man turns around, his mouth agape. The Xeno was right on the glass, sniffing the glass before giving a slow lick, the hand of one scientist reaching for a red button marked TERMINATE, the old man yells "Wait!" He says, the scientist stops over the button, the Xeno stands on two biped legs and butts its head on the glass. "It seems to sense us in here" one says quietly, Altman laughs and puts his hand on the glass, "Amazing...." He says
Some time later the Xeno is much larger, the size of a person, Altman walks in slowly, the Xeno trudging to him, standing over him, drooling lightly before rubbing her large dome on his chest, Altman laughs and pets her head, "You are amazing Athena" he says, Athena looking at him and giving her best smile, the man laughs and rubs her head again, "Better then the last one" he says, "Please follow me" he says, the Xenomorph follows him slowly.
Altman opens a set of doors, and leads the Xeno down the hallways, Athena looks around slowly, before reaching a small white room, Altman rubs her head and throws a small ball into the room, Athena acting on instinct and leaping to catch it. Altman sighs and walks out the room, the door closing, before walking around to a one way mirror, putting his hand on the glass, "H-hit it" he says quietly as he watches her chew the ball. Athena sits up on the floor as green smoke fills the room, Athena dashes to the mirror and tries to slam her fists on it, the glass breaking, before she slams on it again, her legs trembling as the gas makes her pass out, she slumped over and falls on the floor. She is seen shaking and convulsing as the smoke begins to engulf her, "Stop it now!" He orders, the smoke stops pouring in and the sounds of air vents are heard, quickly sucking up the smoke.
Athena shakes and drools on the floor, the gas having unknown effects on her, her tail thrashing around on the ground. Altman watches and sighs, covering his face, "She will hate me forever...." He says, the alarms blaring loudly behind him, soldiers begin running past him, pushing him aside, "The Yautja have gotten in!" It says over the intercoms, Altman looks at Athena, "No...." He says, going to the room door and opening it, running in and grabbing her, trying to pick her up, Athena stirs in his arms, curling up. Altman begins to run to the escape pods, he can hear the cloaking of the predators behind him, he gets to one and opens the door, placing her inside, panting as he closed the door. Athena stirs and wakes up, sitting up quickly to see Altman at the glass part of the door, she puts her hand on the door, Altman puts his hand on the same part, he grunts and yells in pain, a predator grabbing his throat and holding him up, snarling at Altman, the old man kicks in the air, hitting the escape pod eject, the pod shooting upwards and out into space, Athena gets up and keeps looking out into the pitch darkness, *beep* "Place of landing: Earth" a female voice says, before the ship explodes near Athena's pod, the pod shooting out of the way it was going and shooting down to a brown planet.
Within mere minutes she hits the planets surface, her head hitting the side and she is knocked out.
After a few hours she wakes up, looking around as pieces of the ship rain around the pod, she yelps and slams her hand on some random buttons, the pod ejecting her out as a large piece crushes the pod. She lays on the ground, slowly crawling on the ground, her legs having taken quite a beating from her landing, she lays down on the ground and waits.
She gets up after a while and hears something break the atmosphere and land on the ground, she crawls to it, she sees a small group of creatures, none are human, they are hybrids of humans and animals, she sneaks to their ship and sits inside, crawling to a small vent and waiting till she finds a new place.
After the long trip she crawls out to find a large Arena, looking around she sees a soldier, he looks at her and aims his rifle, she covers her head with her hands. But she hears not gunfire, she hears him walk to her and hold out a hand, she slowly takes it and that begins her new life....
