Mat felt very alone with neither of his parents and no one but the nurses to talk to during the day. But that's just it, during the day. After school Jamie came to see him. Mat loved her name, he thought it really fit her. He was staring down at the clock wait for it to strike three. When the time finally came he looked outside the window to see Jamie walking up with her bike. Mat couldnt help but wag his tail and smile. As mat seen his door open, he took aim. When the door finally opened up he through his apple at the door just missing Jamie's face. She looks at him with her head tilted and hand on her hip and said "Oh really now" Mat just sat their looking at the ceiling and whistling. Jamie then threw the apple back at him. Mat caught it and smiled and wagged his tail fast as she approached him."Well you seem to be an extremely happy pup". He stopped wagging his tail and blushed and put his ears down"Don't call me a pup". He then whimpered and took a bite out of his dirty apple. "Well u sure act like one" She didn't notice the flying pillow until it was to late.
after a brief pillow fight, Jamie put down her weapon. "so what makes you happy today". Mat then gave her an angry stare. "Don't tell me you forgot". "forget what?' she said looking around the room. "YOU LIAR!!" Mat said pointing at her bag. "Ohhh, so you remembered" Mat gave her a big nod with his arms crossed. "alright you got me, i was gonna see if u remembered or not" she said. "How could i forget." Mat then started to wag his tail really hard when she reached into her bag. "Wow your really excited aren't you" Mat nodded as fast as he could. Jamie then pulled out two coffee's and a chess set. "YAY!!!" Mat said as loud as he could. "Gezz calm down you crazy pup" Mat and Jamie talked for a bit, taking sips of their coffee, that is until Mat couldn't help but stare out the window thinking. "whats wrong?" Jamie asked. "i--i cant shake off the past". Jamie without hesitation held mats hand "it's okay, do u want to talk about it?"she asked. Mat then started to shake, and his heart rate started to increase. Jamie jumped up and held onto Mats furry chin and he was put into the trance of her beautiful eyes. Jamie then hugged the big wolf. "alright we'll have to wait" she said "No... i'm ready" "are you sure" "i'm positive" He said with a frown.
Jamie got out the chess board and set it up to play as Mat finished off his coffee. "You start... with your story, and your move" Jamie said "well it all started when i turned 7" said Mat as he moved his knight. Mat saw himself with his brother, sister and his old parents. Mat was the oldest of the 3. His sister was 3, and his brother was 5. He remembered him and his family sitting at the table eating dinner. As the were eating Mats dad noticed that the lanterns were coming up the hill. Mat didn't know what was happening. His mother and father put the three in the only closet in the cabin. The lanterns were a gang of bears. The bears entered the cabin at force and put up a fight with Mats mother and father... They didn't got down without a fight. Mats mother and father took at least 10 of them out before being surrounded. Mats sister began to cry, and his brother began to scream. One of the bears heard and stared at the closest. Mat kissed both his brother and sister and told them to stay put. Mat then walked out of the closet with his head down. Mat wasn't even crying. But when he looked up at the bear he has an insane look on his face, with red eyes. Mat swiftly took out the bear within seconds. Mat was so fast that the other bears didn't dare go near him... Mat was over whelmed with strength. Mat couldn't take care of his brother and sister so he took him to his neighbors and told them "i can kill anything that gets in my way, and if u don't believe me... then give me a target". Mat left with saying another word nothing but his backpack and a straw hat he had with him. Mat spent a year of his life just killing anything that would hurt others. Mat was an animal... that is until he found a city... Mat found a home, he was wounded from a big fight from a pack of boars, so he decided to sleep on some trash bags outside of this home. Mat then found himself in a hospital bed. Two wolfs were sitting right beside him as they slept right next to him. Mat then got up, unhooked his equipment and put his cloths back on. Mat stopped himself as he was putting on his straw hat and looking outside to see the sun rising. Mat gave in, He got out his knees and let out a huge scream. Mat then found himself being held by the woman wolf that was sitting next to him. "Don't worry dear... Your safe now". Mat just curled up and whimpered into the wolfs arms. Mat fought countless furs for a year... These people didn't know his strength, and he refused to show it. He lived a great rest of his childhood, going to school, getting a good education, and even finding a home... Although he will never forget the past... Mat had to Learn to control his anger and his depression. He controlled his anger... but not the depression.
"And now i'm here" Mat said looking up at the wolf with a tear coming down his face... He didn't realize it, but the husky started to cry as well. Jamie put the chess board on the ground and crawled over to Mat. Jamie then started to get closer to Mat until they were cuddling face to face. " i--im---im so sorry" Jamie said as tears started to stroll down her face. Mat just made a huge fist and punched the wall as hard as he could..." NO!!!!" he yelled " i'm sorry... i didn't mean to make u cry" Mat pulled his fist out of the hole he had just made and he started to stoke the husky's fur. "i don't ever want to see you sad... i want you to be happy" Mat said as he lifted the husky's face to meet eyes. She didn't know it, but Mat felt something different, he cared for this girl... And he didn't want to let go.
