Timeline: Weeks prior to Veemon's encounter with Stitch.

The group finished up there last adventure. Agumon and Gabumon were getting ready for a vacation along with Tai and Matt. The two of them still argued even while going to the airport. Agumon slanted over and asked, "What's wrong?"

Gabumon sighed again, "Ok, it's just that are Tamers were fighting again, and that was just to pick a location."

Agumon rested his arms behind his back, "Well it's no surprise. After all that's why we told them to do this. But, even I know those two will continue to squabble over smaller things for a while. It's in their nature; both of them have a strong stance on what it takes to be a leader."

Gabumon crossed his arms, "They made us fight each other that one time."

Moments later both Digimon were asleep. Agumon felt a light push and sat up.

Tai said, "Were here."

They got off the plane and got into a van that brought them over to a medium sized house. They stepped inside the wide center room. The wood was dark and sturdy. There were two long halls to the left and right leading into two rooms. Tai and Matt went separate ways. There was a room slightly to the left that Gabumon and Agumon entered. There were two beds on opposite sides of the room and a desk with a computer in front of them. Agumon sat on the bed on the right side of them. Gabumon entered in second heading over to the other bed.

Gabumon looked down, "I thought there fighting would have stopped by now."

Agumon took off his sweater, "Their egos are too big. These two can fight over anything. It used to make sense but now it's to all over the place."

Gabumon crossed his arms, "I never understood it..."

Agumon tried to explain, "It's like I said their ideas were somewhat similar but different enough to start a rift. The reason they took on the role of leader stemmed from two different places. Tai felt like a natural leader and Matt was invested on protecting T.K. and from that he felt he had to become stronger too. I think the real reason why they fought was because they were scared."

Gabumon took off his sweater then asked, "Scared?"

Agumon nodded, "Yeah, but being scared in their minds which led to outward bravery. They both wanted to show the group they could make it."

They headed into the woods. It was starting to get dark. Gabumon and Agumon looked up seeing a flash of light. It suddenly started pouring.
