Follow the moon
A stand alone story of Mowlgi´s return to the wolves this is one way
On a cave that was the home of a family of wolves. Amongst them was something unusual a man cub but tonight was different the man-cub was stirring in his sleep. On his dream he was on a grassland the full moon was illuminating the field, he started to walk and he caught it, the sound of a howling resonated through the air. He suddenly felt uncomfortable on his loincloth he took it off and felt relieved almost free the howling started to sound even stronger calling him he didn´t know why he just needed to follow it like a trance he got to a cave decorated with pelts. He needed to enter, inside was illuminated by the pale moonlight the light w he saw a makeshift bed which was something sleeping and saw it a beautiful wolfess her undercoat gray as a thundercloud her overcoat black as the night and awake her eyes like the moon white pure untainted. He was so mesmerized by those eyes he reached.
"Mowgli! Mowgli! Wake up! "
Then Mowgli awoke by a bite to his leg.
"Mom!"
"Not exactly" Said a male voice
"Brother!"
He said angered for being awakened from such good dream.
-Why did you wake me up?
-Mowgli c´mon it's time for the hunt! Lazy bum- said his brother Akru smirking as he started to move to the cave mouth. Mowgli followed suit of the wolf.
Sometime later Mowgli was still thinking about his dream, when his father went to the pack meeting. Why that wolfess seemed so enchanting and saw the moon was full, he felt invigorated like so full of energy he suddenly felt itchy like he needed to run, run really fast. His loincloth suddenly felt uncomfortable he wanted to rip it off and run on all fours biting every prey he could find. Then Mowgli felt a presence and turned around he saw his mother Raksha pushing her nose against his shoulder.
"Mowgli what is it"- she said in a sweet voice filled with concern
"Mom I don´t know what´s happening to me I feel itchy and weird I don´t know what´s going on" he said with fear
"What´s wrong?" She said starting to feel really concerned right she didn´t want him sick.
"I don´t know I saw a wolfess and then I felt weird down there and I wanted to run and.... Stop laughing!" he yelled to his now laughing mother. She was thinking this was so cute! Her son was showing interest in a wolfess even though he is human it was still so cute seeing him so work out and it was his first crush.
"Sorry ,sorry its just that you´re growing up" she said now more calmed
"Growing up?" he asked more confused
"Well yes you see when you´re getting older your body also changes. Its when a wolf cub stops being a wolf cub and becomes a wolf. I think I am going to let your father talk to you more about it when he comes home"
"Okay he said giving her a quick hug as a thank you. She in return gave him a lick on the cheek as he returned to the cave to receive his father they were going to hunt all together after the meeting. But that walk would never happen after a meeting with Bagheera the Black Panther and an explanation of what was going to happen he saw the moon, it was awakened something within him and ran ,while Bagheera was climbing a tree trunk, as fast as he could in a random direction.
"Man cub!" He heard but that only make him ran even faster and heard something on his head
"Come to me follow the moon" he obeyed that voice and hide in among the bushes and ran in the direction of the moon. Bagheera was hot on his heels he could listen his steps on the tree branches.
"Trick his nose" He heard and thought how? But then he saw its loincloth and with some thinking and fidgeting he removed it from his body and throw it as he jumped in a bunch of tall grasses. He kept quiet and watched as he sniffed around and went in the direction of the cloth while Mowgli escaped on the opposite direction. He was free on more ways than one he looked around and that voice again
"Follow the moon" He was starting to wonder where it came from and decide to obey it was listening to it had only helped it so why not. He still followed the moon till a large grassland just like his dream he didn´t had time to think about it he was dead tired so he look for somewhere to sleep and founded a cave he went in and slept fully this time another dream came. This time he wasn´t on the cave he was on a hut decorated with pelts of different animals so as bones. He looked around and saw the wolfess again but this time she was on two legs she and looked almost human her fur on her hair make her look like his hair but reached its waist and nothing covered her D cup breasts or anything for that matter.
"Well done cub" she said in a seductive voice she said "You passed the test"
"Test?"
"A test if you wanted to be a man or a wolf"
"What!?"
"You know the story of the primal alpha of yours don´t ya?" She said in a amused tone
"Yes a lone wolf came one day and unified all minor packs to form the great pack its is today ,the alpha prime, everyone knows that story"
"Yes, but that´s not the whole story long ago a human child came to escape some bad men so he begged to become something to protect his family the moon saw his conviction and turned into a powerful wolf that killed his offenders and saved his family, however he couldn't return to be human so he lived the rest of his life as the first alpha of a pack, your pack he was the alpha prime."
His eyes became wide as plates. This was a unbelievable then she was
"Yes I am the one who turned him into a wolf and contacted you because you have the heart of a wolf so I presented you a test if you wanted to be an actual wolf and you passed"
"What´s gonna happen to me?"
"He asked the moment you leave this cave you´ll become a wolf a full fledge wolf along with our parents. You are gonna start a new are you ready?"
"Yes!" Mowgli said full of conviction
"Okay so sleep"
He closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep a he could hear something and then he was suspended no he felt suspended like a dreamless sleep and then he felt the fresh air.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! The pain of labor of the now new mother Raksha were heard as he gave birth to a new litter of pups she screamed a more then it came the four new cubs. Rama the father went to look three girls one boy. The girls were named Rita, Lalita and Priya and the boy after the mother look at him she decided Mowgli
"Sweetie we can´t get back what we lost" Rama said bitterly about his ex-friend for taking and losing his cub he was against taking him away in the first place and now it was missing. He just vanished on thin air.
"I don´t care he is Mowgli I just know" she stated as she watched them suckle their first meal she didn´t know how right she was. Her lost pup came back home.
