Chaos
Sheba looked around at the large group of wolves all assembled around looking at her; waiting to see what she would have to say. It took her back to the time when she controlled her army. She smiled a bit at the thought of her old ways then she stopped. She knew that she had to keep that kind of thing out of her mind or else she chanced going back. She had gone too far to become so evil again.
Once Trixey and Kent finally showed themselves along with Demona a few moments later she said "Thank you everyone for coming. First off I know I told only the leaders to come but what I have to say needs to be said to you all."
"What's going on with him Sheba?" said Luke
"Drako's mind is in a fight with an evil virus called Malvado. Malvado was made to take away the good from someone and replace it with only evil. The problem is Malvado has a mind of his own. He does his job but at the same time he slowly melds himself with the mind of the body he is in slowly taking control of it. The body still is itself but if it does something Malvado doesn't like he'll make them do it."
"So what're you saying?" said Ray
"Malvado used the connection of Drako's power to go into his body and take over when he was fighting Talon. This is how Drakonis came to be. Now you all know I was like my brother at one time and I too had Malvado in me but I managed to get rid of him. The reason for this is because when I was made into a Demon Angel by the gods they stopped the transfer of Malvado before it was completed. This made it easier for me to get rid of him. In short Talon had the full effect of Malvado and now Drako does. He may not be able to beat this." Said Sheba
Demona walked up to Sheba and slapped her with her paw then yelled "You don't know anything Sheba. Drako's a fighter and he'll make it through this."
Sheba growled and said "You don't know what you're talking about Demona. You don't know the pain of having your mind slowly being taken over by something like this."
"Then what should we do." Yelled Demona getting within inches of Sheba's muzzle
"Get out of my face young one." Said Sheba growling again
"Then tell me what we'll have to do to stop this from happening to Drako."
A tear ran down Sheba's face as she said "We'll have to kill him."
Demona backed away with a look of shock as she said "No."
"I'm sorry Demona but you know it has to happen if not Drako will become Drakonis." Said Sheba
The others watched the two wolves argue without saying a single word worried they would be the next once to be shouted at by Demona. She started to cry and she said "There has to be another way Sheba, there just has to be. I've already lost so much in my life and I won't lose any more. Also I promised that once I found someone I loved and took as my mate, I would never let him go no matter what I have to do. If he becomes Drakonis then I'll be the one to help him and no one else."
Sheba sighed and said "Demona the only way to stop this is to let him die. I know he won't win the battle with Malvado."
Little flickers of flame started to show up on Demona's body as her rage reached its peak and she yelled "You're wrong." Then she ran out melting the rock floor that she touched as she went. Once she was outside she let off a blast of fire fly out of her as she howled her misery to the world.
Once she was done she let a few tears fall then she ran off into the woods. Back inside the cavern Sheba turned back to the group and said "She'll be fine now let's get back to what we were talking about."
"Sorry Sheba but I can't just let her go off on her own I'm going to fallow her." Said Luna running off after her
Sheba sighed again then said "Does anyone else want to go or can I get back to what I was saying?"
"No but I have something to say." Said Drako walking out from the cavern that lead to his cave
"Drako you shouldn't be up you need your rest." Said Luke walking over to him
"Sorry Luke but I can't its true what Sheba is saying. Slowly I'm losing the fight with the thing that is trying to take over my mind. Sheba are you sure there isn't anything that you can do to help me?" said Drako
"I'm sorry Drako but I don't think so." Said Sheba
"Then what's next for me?"
"You'll need to die, I mean you may be able to fight Malvado but if you don't win then you'll need to die so that way Drakonis won't ever come to be." Said Sheba
"Then if there is still hope for me I'll try to make it work out. Right now I'm going to head back and rest some more." Said Drako
"You do that." Said Sheba and she smiled as she watched Drako walking away a twinge of sadness in her heart as her feelings for him came back to the front of her mind. She knew deep down that she cared for Drako just as much as Demona did. But she knew that her own selfish act's in life had made it impossible for her to ever have him for herself. The worst of it was making him lose his memory and sending him away making sure Ariel died. She knew that even though he never said it, he would never forgive her for that.
Farther into the woods Luna finally found Demona sitting by a river tears filling her eyes. Luna walked up to her and said "Hey Demona."
She sniffed hard and said "Hey Luna."
"You know what I hadn't realized this yet but we haven't talked much since we met. I'll admit I didn't trust you at first but you have proven yourself to be a great help and a great friend. I only wish I could have done the same for you." Said Luna
"I only wanted to be loved and have friends all my life but it never happened. Now I do and more than that I found a mate to love me for all time, how can I just sit back and let him die." Said Demona starting to cry harder
"I know how you feel Demona."
"No you don't."
"I don't you say, well I can see why you would think that but I've had it just as hard as you. First off my pack was killed when I was young by my mate Fang, I thought I would have to live in this world as a loner, I met Luke and he was almost killed by Fang, Then I almost killed him, then once everything started to get right and Luke became a wolf for me everything fell again. Drako showed up, we went to find his home, we met you, Luke started to not trust me, I lost him to the dark way's of life, I found out Drako is my brother, then I may have gotten Luke back but now my only family I have left is going through all of this. So don't say I don't understand." Said Luna
"What do you mean Luke became a wolf for you?" asked Demona looking at Luna
"I forgot I never told you, Luke was a squirrel that I fell in love with a while ago. He helped me through some hard times and after I almost killed him I tried to use the power of a dragon to make everyone forget me. Luke came then and took my wish for himself and made himself a wolf just for me."
"He must have really loved you." Said Demona
"He does and I know Drako loves you just as much as Luke loves me. That's how I know he'll do whatever it takes to make sure Malvado won't win. He lost two mates already and he won't lose another." Said Demona
"But what if he does go bad?"
"He won't."
"But I need to know."
Luna sighed and said "Then you have to do what has to be done."
"I don't know if I can."
"Don't worry Demona, if it comes down to that I'll be there to help you. He's my brother and I don't want him to suffer." Said Luna
"Thanks Luna."
"Sure thing Demona. You know we should talk like this more often it was nice."
"I agree." Said Demona
"And so do I." said a voice that made both of their fur stand on end
Demona and Luna both got up and looked around for the source of the voice. As they did this Luna said "Drakonis must be around here. Demona we need to get out of here."
"I agree let's get going." Said Demona turning to start walking back to Drako's Peak
"What's wrong Luna and Demona you don't want to stay here with me for a while and I thought you cared about me." said the voice again
"Drakonis where are you?" said Luna as they tried to escape. But as they tried to get out of the large clearing they ran into a large rock wall blocking their way
"What's this?" said Demona
"It looks like a wall, Drakonis must have used one of his powers to trap us here." Said Luna
"Why would he do that?"
"Because like I said Demona I came here to get you." Said Drakonis showing himself at last only a few feet away
Demona and Luna backed up to the rock wall looking with fear at the large animal that stood in front of them. His large body was more intimidating than the first time they had seen him. Luna had a hard time looking away from his large fangs and Red and Black eye's. He smiled and took a step toward them, Demona and Luna pushed their body's harder into the wall fear in their eyes.
As he moved closer an idea came to Luna and she whispered "Demona your power can melt rock right?"
"Yes why."
"We can make it out of here as long as you help me out. I'm going to hold back Drakonis to give you time to melt the wall so we can escape." Said Luna
"But you can't fight him he'll kill you."
"Don't worry about me Demona I can heal you just worry about getting the wall down." Said Luna
"But I don't think we should do that."
"Then don't think and just do what is needed." Said Luna running toward Drakonis
"Funny sister how you think you can fight Me." said Drakonis then his eye's glowed and he shot shards of ice toward Luna. Luna dodged them and she tried to bite Drakonis's neck but she was to slow and he grabbed her instead. He smiled for a moment then he threw her into a tree laughing as he did so. "Luna you may be able to heal your body but you should know that you can still die if your body isn't given time to heal."
Luna got back to her paws blood dripping from her head. She smiled back at Drakonis and said "I don't care what happens to me as long as you don't get Demona, Drakonis she's been through enough."
"Yes I know sister and that's why I'm here to take her back with me. She won't have to be around to see Drako go through the pain and she won't have to watch as he kill all of you."
"I won't let you, she loves Drako not you."
"But I am Drako." said Drakonis with an evil smile
"No you're not, you're an evil monster, and you're nothing like Drako!" yelled Luna attacking again
As the two fought Demona closed her eyes feeling deep within herself to find her power. Once she did she let it all out in a single bout of power. Her body ignited and then she started to shoot a hot tongue of flame at the wall. The rocks started to heat up and melt away.
Drakonis stopped his fight with Luna once Demona started this and he yelled "You won't get away that easily."
"Demona look out." Yelled Luna running toward Drakonis again
"I'm tired of this." Said Drakonis and he moved out of Luna's way, then he grabbed her as she passed by. Luna screamed in pain as she felt Drakonis's fang's sink into her skin. Drakonis then swung her around and throw her toward Demona.
Demona ducked as Luna's body came flying at her. Luna screamed again as her body slammed into the hot rock wall. Luna felt her fur and skin burn as she hit the wall and she broke through it. Demona ran up to her on the other side of the wall and she said "Luna, are you ok?"
Luna's body didn't have much fur left on it from the bad burns she had gotten from the hot wall but she was able to look up and say "Demona I'll be fine run back to Drako's Peak and hide."
"No I won't leave you Luna."
"He doesn't want me Demona he wants you get out of here now." Yelled Luna but she was to late Drakonis had shown up behind Demona and he grabbed her by the back of the neck
Demona tried to set herself ablaze to make him let go but for some reason she couldn't. Her power as a guardian was being blocked by something. She could feel the power but she couldn't make it come out. Then she felt something else pushing at her mind. Soon her eye's started to feel heavy and then she passed out.
Drakonis had used a power to make her sleep then he dropped her sleeping form to the ground. He looked at Luna and with a nasty grin he said "I'll let you live for now but that's only because Drako will kill you soon."
"You're wrong."
"I'm not because I've lived It." said Drakonis laughing harder and then Demona and himself vanished in a flash of green light leaving Luna by herself
Tears started to flow from Luna's eyes as she watched her friend vanish with the monster Drakonis. Slowly Luna got up as her body started to heal itself only moments after they had vanished. Drakonis must have been using one of Talon's powers to stop them from using their own power on him. Luna started to walk back to Drako's Peak crying as she went.
It only took a few moments for her to reach the formation. Luke came over to her with a caring look and said "What's wrong Luna?"
She's tried hard to not to cry more but she couldn't help it as she said "She's gone Drakonis took her away."
Luke looked worried as he said "What do you mean he got her, You mean Demona."
"Yes..." said Luna crying harder
"This isn't good, we need to let Sheba and Drako not right away." Said Luke
The two of them ran off as fast as they could trying to reach the front entrance to Drako's Peak. Once they did they found Sheba and Tella talking at the back of the main cave. Once they had reached them Luna started to tell Sheba what had happened to them back at the river.
When she finished Sheba said "Shit. I knew this was going to happen if she went off on her own. We shouldn't tell Drako just yet I don't think he could take the news in his condition. Our only option is to try and save her ourselves."
"And how do you plan on doing that Sheba?" said Ray coming out from a side cavern
"Ray it's good to see you, but what do you mean what will I do. We'll have to fight Drakonis." Said Sheba
"So you want to fight the most powerful thing on this planet. From what Luna told us about where he comes from we don't stand a chance." Said Ray
"So what do you want us to do then?" said Sheba
"Tell my father, He may not be doing well but he needs to know." Said Ray
"If he finds out he'll lose it." said Sheba
Luna stepped in front of them and said "Sheba if we lie to him he'll end up way worse than he is now."
"Listen I'm the one in charge and I say we don't tell him." Said Sheba
"Then maybe you shouldn't be in charge then Sheba. I'm Drako's only son and I think I should lead the pack not you." Said Ray
"This isn't the time to be fighting. Demona's been kidnapped and I say we tell Drako. If you don't like it Sheba then to bad, you're not my pack leader so I'll do what I want. He's my brother so I'll tell him myself." Said Luna walking off toward the cavern that lead off toward Drako's Cave
Sheba, Ray, Luke, and Tella could only watch unable to say a word. They all knew deep down that she was right and only she could tell Drako the truth. As she walked off Ray looked back at Sheba and said "I don't care what you say Sheba. If it wasn't for you this all wouldn't have never happened. Maybe you should leave the pack and if you want to fight Drakonis then do it. From now on I lead this pack and this war."
Sheba smiled and said "You're right Ray, I was told to come here to help you not to lead you. I still find it hard to follow others and not lead. You are the true leader of this pack so I'll leave it to you." Then she walked out of the cave leaving only tear drops behind.
Down the way Luna was standing in front of Drako's room looking at him sleeping, wondering how she was going to tell him. Then Drako said "I'm not asleep sis what's on your mind."
"I'm not sure how to tell you bro."
Drako got up and looked at his sister, she shook a bit as she looked into his eyes that were now black and red. Drako then said "Tell me sister. It's ok just come out and say it."
She took a deep breath and said "Drakonis attacked Demona and me by the river and he took Demona."
For a moment Drako only looked at his sister with a shocked expression then he said "He took my love...she's gone..."
"He took her yes but I'm not sure if he's gone too far with her yet."
"No...Not Demona...I won't lose her too...she's had a hard...life and I won't let him make it worse...I'll Kill him for this." Yelled Drako the last few words coming out in a deep voice unlike his own
"Drako are you ok?" said Luna afraid of how he had spoken
Drako looked up at her and said in the same voice "Get everyone out now, In my anger I let...him take over...he wants to kill you all...RUN!!!!" screamed Drako as a black light started to flow out of his body
Luna could since something evil within him and she knew what he said was right. She ran from the cave yelling to every wolf she met to "RUN" when she reached the main cave she found Ray still there and she said "Ray something's wrong with your father. We need to get out of here now. I think we'll die if we don't get out now."
"Ok I'll make sure everyone's out with my time power you just get out now." Said Ray vanishing in a flash
Luna wasn't used to his kind of power but she knew he could do the rest. She ran off making it back out into the dead area in front of Drako's Peak. She saw Luke, Trixey, and Kent talking not far away. She ran over to them and told them what was going on. In only a few moments all the wolves had been taken away from the formation alone with Ray and his family.
They made sure they were far away from the formation before they stopped running. Right when they had gotten to the safe area a black energy started to fly out of Drako's Peak making large cracks in the side of it. A loud noise filled the air as in a single blasting Flash Drako's Peak exploded letting the black energy fly out. They all screamed and ran off again as parts of the formation started to fall and land not far away.
Once it was all over Luna and some of the others ran back to the formation only to stop in horror as they looked out to where the formation had once stood. Now only a one fifth of the formation was left, Cracks going down the side of it. Large chunks of rock stood next to the formation making it hard to get close. But nothing was more frightening than the large monster like wolf standing at the edge of the once mighty formation called Drako's Peak.
He was nothing like Drakonis, the wolf was large like Drakonis but he was pure black with red fangs and claws, a large muscular form, a long flowing mane, and one black eye and one red eye. Not only that he had small markings along his fur that was a dark grey and they formed different kinds of shapes and also he had small torrents of flames coming off his ear's.
The monster looked at them all and smiled showing off his red fangs. Luna shivered at the sight of him but she was able to say "Drako is that you or have you changed into Drakonis."
The monster said in a deep voice that seemed to be filled with many voices "The one you know as Drako or Drakonis is not who I am. True I am using his body but I chose to change it to one I liked better."
"Who are you then?" yelled Luke who was next to Luna
"It's Malvado." Said Sheba who had shown up after the explosion
"Sheba your back." Said Ray
"Yes, I never planned on leaving you."
"Nice to see you Sheba I was wondering when you would show up again. I missed you."
"Malvado why did you attach yourself to Drako? I thought you were happy with Talon." said Sheba
"It's simple I didn't like your brother's power anymore and he was week. I would have loved to have had more control over you when I did but I'm happy with the way things have gone." Said the monster wolf
"So you are now Drakonis but why do you look different from the one we saw?" said Sheba
The wolf laughed again and said "It's because Drakonis has partnered with my other half. I'm not Drakonis at all, I took full control of Drako's body and I'm using his powers for myself. Also don't call me Malvado that was a name given to me by the other world. My name is Chaos..."
The wolves felt a spout of fear enter their bodies at the name. All of them but Luna who stood her ground and said "Chaos? Ok then we'll go with that. You think you can take over like this then fine but you'll have to get by me first. I don't know why things aren't' going like Drakonis said they would but I don't care. You won't take my brother away from me like this. I've spent the last few years thinking I had no family and now I find out I do. I won't let you take that away from me again."
"Then let's see what you've got Luna." Said Chaos and he jumped toward her
Luna knew she didn't stand a chance with Chaos if he used his powers but she hoped he would think he could beat her with only his fangs. She knew he would most likely be able to kill her even with just that but she was hoping she could hold up long enough to get Drako back.
She dodges the first attack and she jumped toward him fangs bared and aiming for his neck. She hit her mark but she couldn't sink her teeth into him. His skin was as hard as rock. Chaos was so big he was three times the size of Drako and he was bigger than most wolves. She held on to him as best she could but he only giggled and slapped her off with a paw. Luna hit the ground hard and she spat out blood when she got up.
The others tried to help her out but she yelled "Don't move this is between me and him." Then she attacked again but he grabbed her with his teeth and bit down hard. Luna could feel her bones brake and she felt blood pooling out of her.
Chaos dropped her and said "Funny how you think you can take me down like that. You're noting compared to me even if I don't use any power."
Luna let her body start to heal as she said "I know I can't beat you but I know who can."
Chaos stomped on her breaking the bones again and he said "Who could beat me Luna?"
"Drako's not as weak as you may think. His one love is in danger and he won't let anything happen to her." Said Luna "He loves her and I know it. Nothing is more powerful than love Chaos."
Chaos knew she was using the time to heal but he didn't care he giggled again and said "Just because your mate came back to you after being under a spell doesn't mean Drako will. I'm a lot stronger than Talon was."
"Luke loves me just like Drako loves Demona he'll take over again and make sure she's safe." Said Luna
"You say Luke loves you well tell me do you love him even if he couldn't give you pup's."
"What are you talking about Luke is a wolf like me he can get me pups you dumb ass." Said Luna laughing at him
"Yes the Dragon Razia made him into a wolf for you. She did this by looking at his heart and she turned him into what his heart wanted. Let's see what his body thinks it should be." Said Chaos looking at Luke with a grin
"What are you going to do to him?" Yelled Luna trying to get out from under the monsters paw but she was too late
A flash of black light washed over Luke's body. He screamed in pain as his body stared to shrink and he started to change. Then within seconds Luke stood before them not as a wolf but as his old self a red squirrel. He looked up at them all fear gripping him as he looked at all the wolves around him.
"You see he's nothing more than a squirrel and nothing else. How can prey like him father the pups of a wolf?" said Chaos lifting his paw to let Luna up
"You're wrong!" yelled Luna jumping up and walking toward Luke "He loves me and no matter what he looks like I will always love him."
Luke backed up fear gripping him as he looked up at Luna who was walking toward him. Then he covered his face and said "Please don't eat me."
Luna stopped dead in her tracks and she said "Luke it's me Luna you mate and friend what's wrong with you. I would never eat you."
"What are you talking about I don't know you the last thing I remember is falling into a Grotto after running away from a wolf. How did I get here anyway?" said Luke
"Luke it's us Trixey, Kent, Luna, your family." Said Trixey
"Stay back." Yelled Luke then he ran off to a tall tree and hid in it
Luna let tears come to her eyes as she turned and yelled "Drako how could you do this to him your friend, How could you let this monster talk over your body and mind like this. Your mate's been taken and your friends are going to be killed so tell me why are you letting this happen?"
Chaos started to laugh again as he said "It's no use..."
Nordic stepped forward then and yelled "I am Nordic Ice Wolf guardian of this land. I may have been told to stay back but it's my duty to keep my land and the packs that live within it safe. Chaos you'll pay for you sins on this land..."
Nordic then ran past Luna his silvery eye's filled with rage. Chaos wasn't ready for this and he moved slowly. Nordic bit down hard on the monsters neck piercing the skin and making blood pool out from the bit marks. Chaos howled in pain and tried to throw the large wolf off but he was holding on to tight. Nordic grinned then he used his Ice power on the monster. The power ran through Chaos's blood freezing everything it could.
Chaos howled again as his body started to freeze from the inside out. His movements became slower and his breathing had almost stopped. The large wolf fell to his knees and as he did so Nordic jumped off his neck. The Guardian grinned up at the nearly frozen monster. Nordic had used this attack many times and no one had ever lived thought it.
"Hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!" laughed Chaos as he started to get back to his feet the ice around his fur and claws melting away. "You think that little attack could kill me so easily well your wrong." Then the same kind of black light started to flow out of the monster's body again. Nordic had seen what it had done to the large formation called Drako's Peak and fear entered his mind.
Right before the blast came Nordic howled out letting a blast of his Ice power go and making a gigantic wall of ice. The black light hit it making large cracks in the ice. Nordic waited for the light to disappear before he dashed around the wall and attacked again only to dodge an attack from Chaos. The blast of fire nearly took off Nordic's head.
"I told you that no one can kill me I'm the perfect..." started Chaos but something seemed to be wrong with him because he stopped
"Nordic stop and get away from him now." Yelled Ray
"But I can kill him." Said Nordic
"No don't, you said you would fallow my father and since I'm in charge now do what I said." Said Ray
Nordic ran back to stand next to Ray and he watched as a silvery glow showed itself around Chaos. He couldn't move for some reason and the others could tell this. Sheba took her chance and she yelled "We need to take him down now Drako's trying to take his mind back, now attack."
Ray came forward and yelled "She's right take him down so my father can come back to us. This is what we are going to do, Nordic freeze his paws, Bain use your power to hurt him, Tella hold him down with your super strength."
They all did as they had been told. Nordic ran in first using his ice power to freeze Chaos's feet to the ground. Bain came in next shooting shots of energy at him to make the wolf cry out in pain. Then Tella ran over and she used her power to kick him hard in the side knocking him over. Chaos tried to fight but his mind was being attacked by Drako and he still couldn't do much. Nordic took his chance while Chaos was down and he froze his body to the ground making it impossible for Chaos to move.
Then the silver glow around him flashed and his body went back to the way it had looked before Chaos had taken over. Drako moaned and tried to get up but the ice was still holding him down even after he had shrunk down to his normal size. He looked over at them all and said in a weak voice "Thanks."
"Let him up." Said Ray walking over to his father
Bain used his power to shatter the ice then he said "Drako are you ok?"
Drako got up and said "No, this won't last for long so I need to do what needs to be done fast. Luna find Luke and remained him who he is, he'll remember trust me. I don't know what power that monster used on him but I can't fix it in my condition. As for the rest of you I want you to follow my son from now on."
"But father what about you. You're the leader of the pack." Said Tella running up to him
"Not for long, Chaos or Malvado or whatever he calls himself will be back. I can't stay with you any more, I need to save Demona and once she's back with you all I'm going to kill myself. Once that's done Drakonis will vanish since my life is linked to his. He is the future me and with how things are going I can't let him or Chaos come back. Once Demona's back please make sure he's happy for the rest of her life." Said Drako
"But Drako you can't leave like this killing yourself won't do any good." Said Luna
"It's the only way."
"Then why don't you do it now." Yelled Bain his anger getting the best of him
"Because for some reason things aren't going the right way. I need to make sure Drakonis will die when I do. If he doesn't I'll kill him first. Bain you're my friend and you should understand what I have to do." Said Drako
"No I don't Drako. Death never solves anything. I'll find a way of helping you before you die." Said Bain
"You can't do that Bain."
"Well I'm not going to let you kill yourself and leave Demona alone just like you did to Ariel. You think by killing yourself you'll be helping us well you're wrong. We would be heartbroken to see you die." Said Bain
"I know how you feel but it still won't stop me. Good bye my family I love you all." Said Drako and before they could do or say anything else he vanished in a flash of green light
"You ass hole, you cowered, come back here now," yelled Bain tears flying
Everyone let the tears fall as they looked at the spot Drako had just been. They all knew he was right but they also didn't want to see him go. They had all been brought together by this one wolf. To lose him would be like losing a mother or father, or maybe a sibling. He was family to them all in one way or another. As they cried Luke came down from the tree and started to sneak off. Ray saw this and he stopped time and ran over to the little red squirrel. He picked him up and took him over to the rest of them then he made time start again.
"What the hell." Said Luke shaking again as he found himself by the wolves some how
They all looked at the little squirrel as Ray said "Trixey, Kent, and Luna you three need to make him remember who he is."
"But how can we do that?" said Kent
"My father remembered who he was by the sight of my mother but since that didn't work on Luke when he saw Luna then tell me how did you too fall in love?
