A Hero For One Day A Legend Forever

On a helicopter heading towards the city Lochmont. Are Doomfond and his elite division, They are heading to reinforce the defensive line in the city Lochmont. As a final resort to defend the Space factory city Wingtoria where the Death star is being built in. but Ghost pirates army might be closer then anyone expected.

Dragon X are looking at his A2 assault rifle when he spot a group of tanks. Dragon X: Sir what is that. Doomfond: that is armored fighting vehicle or AFV, but you can call them tanks. Can you identify them? Dragon X put his scanner function on and proceeded to scan the friendly tanks and some transport trucks. Dragon X: scan complete the scan has unidentified a couple of LT-1, and T2-MBT and with a few T4 heavy tank with some cargo trucks with some soldiers and a lot of weapons behind them. Sir where are they all headed? Doomfond: To the Lochmont offense of course. Dragon X proceeded to think a bit then asks''Why aren't they as well transported trough the air? That would speed up our army's mobility and deployment rating. Doomfond: Hmm never thought of that. but it does seems right, I will talk about this in my next staff meting.

He then thought about his defense options. While Dragon X proceeded to look at the empty and dead landscape filled with bomb craters and some destroyed vehicles under them as the helicopter flew them closer towards Lochmont. Dragon X was soon realize that the war most have been really hard and it has taken its toll on Dovahreich. And finely the helicopter had arrive and landed on a field near Lochmont. When they landed they was greeted by a general and his personal. Doomfond took a minute to greet the general and tell him the new orders and plans. When suddenly enemy artillery started raining down. And one of the shells manage to hit the helicopter and it explodes into a fireball. the pilot manage to jump out before it got to intense with minor burns on him and only a fractured leg. Doomfond and the rest of hell Division immediately run towards shelter in a nearby trench. And soon friendly artillery father away started to fire back at the enemy who had started an attack on Lochmont. As soldiers on radio confirmed the attack. Infernos: Enemy are attacking the city!! I Repeat Enemy are attacking!! prepare defenses.. now!. Doomfond: You heard him go and defend.

Arn: Yes sir! hell division move out to the city ..go.. and the Hell division proceeded to jump out and run under the oncoming artillery onslaught towards the oncoming attack. But finely after several near death moments they made it to the city where enemy tanks and soldiers where advancing in on Lochmont from the west. Hell division took up a defensive line near Infernos men. Arn: What is the situation. Infernos: bad we are under attack and we are low on ammo and men. Wait are you the reinforcement Arn:Yes. Infernos: only six men!! Arn: There are more coming later for now we are all there is. so are there any anti-tanks weapons anywhere. Infernos: Yes we have a one 90mm anti-tank gun over there. Infernos points on a broken building far far away Where one Anti-tank gun are placed. Infernos: However the crew is dead But we also have a SATW (Svip Anti-tank weapon) over in that trench somewhere over there I think. Arn: Alright men listen up, Dragon X and Razz go and get that SATW, We other will get to that 90 mm gun, everyone got that. "Yes sir. Arn: move out and stay alert. Hell division moved out carefully towards the guns while Dragon X and Razz was headed in the other direction. And while Dragon X and Razz was looking for that Anti-tank weapon they had to dodge enemy artillery high explosive round's that almost hit him or they did they hit him? he did not know or had time to check it out. Then in a battle damage trench did he finally find that SATW. Dragon X: Hey I find the SATW he shouted to hem and as he looked at him he saw Razz pointing behind him and took cover behind a building. Soon Dragon X could hear a tank approaching and he then looked up to see a tank go past him he. he then heard enemy foot steps coming closer so he took a good grip on his gun and went on shooting them down with out the tank noticing the gun fire, he killed them all with top efficiency. Then he picked his SATW and aimed at the tank he confirmed it was a (GPT 2 Pershion) and...

fired a missile towards it. It hit the tank engine who burst into flames and the tanks tracks came to a sudden stop. Smoke come out from the hatches that the crew had opened up as they tried to exit the burning tank. Dragon X put down the SATW and picked up his assault rifle and fired at the crew. But the gun soon run out of bullets, just when two of the tank crews did jump out and soon picked up some off there comrades gun and aimed at Dragon X and fired. Dragon X manage to duck just as in time he then picked up his hand gun and aimed it where he thought they would appear. He herd footsteps closing in on him he started to breath more heavily as the footsteps got closer then...then he herd Razz voice shouting. Hey! Are you OK. Dragon X: Yeah. Razz: It's OK to come out now I killed the two. Dragon X got up and changed mag and throw the SATW too Razz who got it. Then they went on to rendezvous with there squad. Dragon X: I manage too find it and destroy a tank and 10 enemy soldiers. Arn: Good job, now help us bring down the four remaining tanks.

Dragon X helped bringing ammo to the gun while Arn and the others took care of aiming and firing the gun at the invading tanks as they keep attacking. Then with out warning one manage to shoot right into the gun unfortunately destroying it. Luckily the round went right trough the gun with out hitting or detonating any ammunition. And to only case minor shrapnel. Jack: What know captain!! Arn: Fall back we need to fall back, this place is not safe. Razz but hey look! To everyone surprise the enemy tanks started to deploy smoke and soon disappeared Dragon X: Why do they deploy smoke? Vernik: because they are retreating we have won. Razz: Why are they retreating for they are on the wining side? Arn: look over there and you find the answer. They all looked where Arn pointed at and saw several T4 suppressing the enemy from the flank. Dragon X: OK so what now. Infernos: We go and confirm kills and wounded men and get them home. Arn Alright men spreed out. Hell division did spend the whole day collecting dismantle body parts. and if they where lucky just a dead or alive soldiers. Soon Doomfond brifed his plan to Mobile infantry that reanforcment was going to arrive but until then they most hold out this defensive line. After that was hell Division and the Mobile infantry ordered to stock up on ammo and supplies as they where ordered to hold the city until more reinforcement could arrive. They then started to repairer some trenches back to useable state and set up several guarding posts and traps for the night. And one chosen to guard on the night was Dragon X.

He watched the battlefield from his post up in a building for anything suspicious sneak attack the enemy might pull up. He guarded his post well into the night unaware of the danger that was sneaking behind him as a enemy spacial trained solder was coming for him. He prepared to stealthily take down Dragon X. but in the last second one of Dragon X moment sensors detracted movement and he manage to avid the dagger and successfully shoot the enemy solder right trough his stomach killing him. And then Dragon X sounded the alarm as he saw a army advancing in and artillery shells where raining down. They where under attack Hell division and mobile infantry was fast to respond and was soon up and running. Soon they meet the enemy and started fire on them and soon the enemy advance come to a halt. But artillery flashes and gun flashes was lighting up the night as the fight lasted the whole night and way into the early morning light until Ghost pirates finely had enough and retreated back where they came. Then it all got quiet for some times so Doomfond took a opportunity to reinforce the men but a air attack stopped the peace as every one took cover as enemy bombers was sighted. AA guns started to fire turning the sky red and fighters sent in from Dovahreich intercepted them and one by one they was shout down. The next day Ghost Pirates tried another charge attack Dragon X and others immediate took up arms and got to there trench positions that they where forced to do under the heavy bombardment under enemy artillery. A lot of men did die under the bombardment. Hell division and others started upon fire slowing the enemy advance to a halt. But not for long as soon the enemy made a flanking maneuver taking Doomfond by surprise as they went past the city and onwards towards Wingtoria. They where almost ending the war but they where stooped by a minefield and was forced to surrender when they got surrounded by a tank unit.

The next day Doomfond was about to brief them on the situation and the progress of the death Star.

Doomfond: I have got information that the Death Star is proceeding as planed and is why we suspect that Ghost pirates are preparing troops for one lost attack on the day the Death Star launches and that day is tomorrow. so my plan is for you Hell division and mobile infantry too hold this border at all cost. If we lose we all lose the war. Then when the enemy is tired will I charge them with my reserve force and case them to retreat then I sent my reserves to secure the flanks and therefor securing there defeat! and push them out of the border into there land. I have brought plenty of ammo, supplies and some new guns to rearm your all with and this is the last of the reinforcement I give you you have all fought bravely, I am all proud because of it. I have a few new top secret weapon installed for Ghost Pirates to soon see and find out for them selves. Is Your orders clear?. Every one made the Dovahreich salute accept Dragon X he instead took a step forward and said this

"load and clear my lord, We will hold the border even if we have to resist and bite for what is right sir!

Doomfond could not believed he just herd that or so could no one else for that mater. But Doomfond finely smiled as he liked the words Dragon X said Doomfond: That's the spirit I like that.. Resist and bite that is what we shall do as it's our time to rise as we are a unit at war, As are destiny calls we will not surrender or fail, We are true armies under the same banner as a unit we will stand and united we fall, As one fighting together shall we bringing the slather too an end, The end of Ghost Pirates grows near it's time has come to an end, The end of an era is near, It's time for a new era, And it's time for the correct army to stand!. Everyone cheered as they got pumped up by the speech. And soon every one got busy with re-arming the defenses. Both before that Doomfond walked up to Dragon X and given him a necklace that was his. Dragon X: What is this? Doomfond: It's a necklace that belongs to you who your father worn when he was alive I taught you want it as I have no use for it and it might bring luck in battle. Dragon X grabbed it in his hand and proceeded to take a look at it, it was a cross with a dragon holding on to it. He then put it on and went to help out with rearming Lochmont.

Hell division and Mobile infantry boosted with the speech went on with the task of rearm and too build defensive lines, placing mines. Placing Anti-tank guns and placing hull down tanks. around and in the city it took Two and a half week With some enemy artillery strikes now and then with little effect. and soon it was complete and with a Dovahreich flag blowing in the with on the tallest building they where reedy. they just have to wait for the attack. That was estimated to happen on the day the Death Star would launch. Above them was several Ace pilots guarding the sky's above the Death Star from bombers somethings passing by Lochmont to have a look. And then The day come the day the Death Star would launch every one got up eagerly to see and wait for the biggest event in the war so far.

Some sent there last letter to there loved ones placing faith that they would see them soon. some even pray to the gods that they shall be protected. Dragon X started to think about his father and picked up his father necklace around his neck and asked for his fathers strength in battle. He suddenly started to feel a bit strange he soon lost balance and fall down on the ground where he then lost conscience. Then Dragon X woke up with Jack next to him asking "What happen? you just passed out. Dragon X took a moment to look around to see he was in a tent he could also feel him being stronger and more powerful then before as something inside of him waked up as he talked to his fathers necklace. Jack: Can you her me? Dragon X: Yes I guess I passed out of fatigue, I'm all better now. Jack: Good let's get you up and get you back in action. We can get attacked at any moment now. Dragon X: right. But Dragon X as he exited the tent something told him it was a sign from his father. He soon picked up his assault rifle and regrouped in his position and proceeded to keep an eye out for signs of an attack.

The hours went by with out a sound but then they all could her a rumbling on the ground getting louder and louder then a trumpet was herd, thousand off enemy soldiers appear up on the hills charging towards Lockmont, son followed by tanks rolling and firing they where hitting the ground in front of the trenches and some rounds hit buildings. Soon arty fired at the city shaking the ground and dirt when they hit. "The Attack they had waited for has began."

Infernos admittedly called the air force and artillery to bombard the enemy. And soon are own artillery shook the ground with there response fire. In the sky above the battlefield had (Dovahreich star dive bombers)responded to Infernos call and had began circling the battlefield as vultures and when they spot a prey only then did they dive down and relished there napalm bombs. With*great horror the men watched the enemy's scream as they burned to death. And sometimes a super sonic bomber named (SSB1 Congcord) **went past and drooped it's payload as well. Enemy's fighters* tried to catch it but failed and they then instead tried to engage the dive bombers but they was more then enough capable of fighting them and a fight for air dominance began. Meanwhile on the ground Ghost pirates was still charging forward as there tactic was simply to overwhelm there enemy's in what human WW2 Soviet Union called Deep Battle.

Dragon X watch the chaos on the battlefield and he prepared to fire his gun when the swarming Ghost pirates was in range. And then heard the order FIRE!! echos he the Machine guns in the trenches open fire and Tanks opened fire with there machine guns. Then they all fired all there missiles with a stunning roar, the missiles trawled down range and destroyed tanks and cripple some of them. Then everybody else started fire including Dragon X and gave the enemy all they got. Enemy's dropped in hundreds but several hundreds where still coming and soon smoke had make it harder to see anything. Death was just a heartbeat away as Bullets where flaying

everywhere, bombs falling, And One by one Dovahreich's soldiers where dieing. And soon the first wave of ghost pirates reached the trenches and Dragon X pulled out his blade and killed any enemy soldier that got in his thence. but some soldiers where not that lucky. Hell division and of course the rest where forced to fight to survive. Once the trenches where cleared again did they resume to re-arm and take there position in the trench and resume firing at the enemy force. But Dragon X son realized that this fight would be the end of him as ammo was going low. But if he was going to die He would do it as a knight as his father once was. He trowed down his assault weapon and rushed out of the trench with his blade in his arm. A bit of confusion happened as he did but then Doomfond followed and gave a shout.

Charge Men!! CHARGE!! for Dovhareich!!

The men Shouted back, for Dovahreich!! and they all went over the trench with there (SLG chainsaw blade). Ghost pirates charge stopped for a bit then it resumed and the both armies crashed together. And it soon turned ugly with men losing limbs, eyes, and ultimately there lives. But Dragon X was trained for this and he keep massacre the enemy's soldier that was standing in his way. Doomfond did not ether had so much problem as he was way faster and trained for this kind of combat way before Dovahreich existed. And every time Doomfond killed a man his soul eater powers grows. And he used it to electrocute some to death. Soon the ground where filled with blood and body's from friends or foe's and bit's of Dragon X bio engineered armor as he and the rest where getting exhausted by killing so many. They just kept coming. And not even Doomfonds soul eater powers seemed to stoop them. They all seemed doomed but at least they die as knights. But then the ground shock with the same power as a earthquake and both Dovahreich and Ghost pirates looked at the source they all witness something in the air going into orbit.

It was the Death Star. To all Dovahreich's eye's they had won the Death Star had launched. Hell Division had completed there mission. Doomfond saw the moment and commanded the reserves to attack. Several (C94 Sviper gunships) soon appear and started to gunned down the enemy's who responded to retreat. And soon a armed division lead by the New Königspanther spearheaded the charge after the retreating Ghost army deeply into there lines. Meanwhile when the smoke had cleared Doomfond and others steered at the carnage that was in front of them. Men both friendly and foe's that would now rest in hell lying dead on the ground all thanks to Dommfonds command. he shock at the thought. Had they all been clones then he would have not to worry of living life that he sent to die anymore. He then order his men to start gather there dead or alive men. But Dragon X and Infernos was both missing. Doomfond asked Hell Division where Dragon X was but they had not sheen him after they all charged the enemy. They began to look for him. They manage to find Infernos with several body parts in serous damage he was barely alive. He was Escorted back to HQ by his fellow Mobile Infantry soldier Vigil. Doomfond and Hell division continued there search after Dragon X. awhile later did they fund him way back at the enemy front line just standing there with his armor stained in blood and several pieces of his armor damage looking at the body's he had killed. As there was plenty of dead ghost Pirates there. And as Doomfond looked he kind of saw a very familiar thing that his father had done in the Holy war his father fought in Dragonstone so many years ago. He had both survive a mayor battle and was the one reason why his side had won the mayor victory when he was needed the most. Maybe He is becoming more as his father then Doomfond had original planed.

Doomfond: Are you OK. Dragon X: Yes I'm OK with only some flesh wounds. Did we complete the mission Sir? Doomfond: Yes you did a excellent job. Dragon X Great I did what you asked I did hold the border. But I most ask is killing really worth it. I can't help but to fell it's wrong. Doomfond: Killing is newer worth it and shall be the last solution. Life is precious and should not be thrown away like this. Dragon X so why did they charge us if they known that they would die? Doomfond: They all fallows orders. Dragon X: You mean just as us or them. pointing at some mobile Infantry. Doomfond: Well let me explain that sometimes people are wailing to do anything as long they believe it's the right thing to do. It's called believing and it can destroy you or making you do task that no one ever before has ever done. I have witness it before way back in my home planet with my "lord". Dragon X: So they all did what they believed in? Doomfond: Yes they know what they did throw themselves into, they all defended Dovahreich from extinction so we could fight on. And there death shall not be in vain as we will now take the coming battles back to are enemy's land. Dragon X: I see now what you mean is that one fights and die so another can live in peace. Doomfond: Yes that's it. But it's sad that so many have to die in order to peace to come and believe me a lot more will join them. But for now let's go home and patch you up and plan how we will avenge are fallen comrades.

Infernos was later examined in HQ and was sent by Doomfond to be fitted with a permanently power suit stock on his body as his body parts where to much damage for his body to repair with science. He was fitted with similar bio engineered body parts as Dragon X. Then Doomfond orders his top science men to use his DNA and the same body parts as Infernos to be there base design used for the new cloned army know as Dragon Riders Elite Division. that later he would command. Into the end of the war and beyond. Doomfond ordered that other clones to be mass produced that was leas combat efficient that would be reenforcing Mobile Infantry as The clone era has began. All this was thanks to Hell division of course who had completed there trail by fire. And has proven the point of having a cloned army. Dragon X had been for his action been called the hero of Lockmont and might soon be a legend.

But what waits this hero of Lockmont now that Dovahreich has Secured Lockmont and The Death Star is in orbit collecting information and giving information back to Doomfond. Don't miss chapter 3 "New Missions" on.
