Offering to a Kitsune

A young mage hears rumours that the nearby inari shine was bestowing blessings on the people of his town. But when he investigates he finds that the rumours are anything but hearsay... and that he has come to the shrine without anything to offer the kitsune that lives there.

Story for tomajikate-hollow , a long-time friend of mine who encouraged me when I was nervous about uploading my first story to FA, which then lead me to upload stories here on SoFurry too.

Here's to you, tasty human. Thanks for being such a great friend. <3

Offering to a Kitsune

It was a lot smaller than he thought it'd be.

Hollow could hardly believe this was the shrine everyone was talking about. It had the talk of all his friends, an inari kitsune shrine where people left offerings and were blessed with luck and wealth. The human had had so many problems lately it seemed like it would be worth a try, but as he stood before it he wondered whether it was worth it. For all he knew it was a scam to part fools from their money... but then, what if it wasn't?

He wanted to see either way. It wasn't like he had brought anything with him this time, so he was safe from everything but losing his robes. If anyone could detect magic at a shrine, it would be a mage, and seeing as the others felt it was 'best not to dabble with spirits', the human had decided to answer the call of knowledge himself.

He glanced from his map to the shrine once more, just making sure he had gotten the right one. After passing under the impressive red gate at the front, he had expected more than the little shrine made of stone and rotten wood, the roof looked like it would cave in if he overstayed he welcome. The shrine appeared to only have one fox statue on duty, its stone face was curved in a frozen, playful smile as it rested one hand on a ball.

The pale mage made his way over to it and stepped around it, tapping it on its sides with his staff before stepping back to examine it. The fox was on the small side, and yet it showed none of the signs of age that the rest of the shrine did, there was no moss around its paws or signs of fading in its features, his eyes drifted to its rear, noting only a single tail curled behind it... but then, these statues never counted for such things.

"Good fox. Stay." He muttered, narrowing his eyes on the statue suspiciously before stepping past it and making his way towards the shrine itself. Of course there were no signs of shrine maidens watching over it, and yet he felt like he was constantly being watched. He made his way to the bowl at the center and clapped his hands together in prayer, closing his eyes.

'Please, let me be a great mage.' he thought to himself, bowing his head before opening his eyes. The shrine was still as damp and dreary as it had been before. The cobwebs above dangled in the draft, threatening to drop off the low roof and into the water of the bowl Hollow had been praying over.

"An interesting request."

Hollow almost jumped out of his robes as he heard the voice. He quickly turned to face the door and pressed his back to the table before grabbing at the bowl to stop it from tipping over, managing to spill some of it in the process. The dark brown fox standing in the doorway looked up at him, his five tails waving in the breeze as he let out a high-pitched chuckle of delight, "Hehe, I frightened you~"

"You didn't, you just startled me. You could have said something before, you know." The human replied, one hand held to his heart as he tried to calm himself down. He stood up once more, looking down to the small fox before clearing his throat, "So, I take it you're the guardian of the shrine then?"

"That's me~" the kitsune grinned widely, making his way over to the human and sitting at his feet, his tails continuing to wag back and forth in harmony with one another, "And you're one of those humans who comes by to ask for things in exchange for food, huh?"

"Actually I came to investigate. I was surprised to hear the shrine was still active at all, given how unkempt it is," Hollow admitted as he crouched down to speak with the fox eye to eye, "What brought you to this particular shrine?"

"I dunno... food?" the kitsune admitted with a shrug, as much of a shrug as an animal could give, anyway. He licked his lips as he sniffed over the mage's robes curiously, "Usually humans bring fried tofu or kitsune udon, and then they ask for something silly like 'make me happier'. As if they could be happier than knowing they helped a kitsune, right?"

"I suppose so," the mage replied with a shrug before getting back to his feet, "Well, I suppose I'd better get back to the guild hall, they'll be wondering where I am."

"Wait, aren't you going to leave an offering?" the fox gasped, running back to the door to block the human's only exit, "C'mon, I'll do whatever! I bet you want to be happy, or rich! Or..." his eyes flashed with inspiration, "Oh, you said about being a better mage, right?"

"I didn't say that. I thought it." The human muttered in response as he moved towards the door. As he tried to walk around the fox's left, it shifted its many tails to block him, and as he tried to move to his right the fox stepped in his way, "Look, I don't have anything to offer you."

"But you made a request, and I already fulfilled it!" the kitsune gasped, sitting up straight as he narrowed his eyes on the human, raising his left paw and stamping it down in judgement, "Did you think you could just be blessed and not offer anything? You ungrateful human!"

"I wasn't planning to get a free blessing, I was just testing the shrine for magic!" the human replied hurridly, but as the kitsune continued to slam his paw against the ground he could hear the shrine's walls groaning, the roof began to spit dust down over his white hair, "W-wait, I've got... um." he began to turn out the pockets of his robes, "How about a spellbook and a staff?"

"I can't read all your silly mage runes, and I can't hold the staff with my paws." The kitsune growled in irritation, his eyes flashing brightly with magic as his tails waved in a wrathful flurry of fur, "Offer something else! Something I want!"

'He's kind of picky...' the mage thought to himself, though as the kitsune's ears perked he recalled the fox could read his mind. He quickly raised his hands, "I really don't have anything else I can offer you."

"How about these? They look good." the kitsune asked, pawing at the mage's robes before digging both forepaws into the front, tugging at them in an attempt to pull them off the skinny human, "They smell great, I bet they'd be better than kitsune udon!"

"You want to eat my clothes?" Hollow blushed as he pulled back against the kitsune. He could feel the mage robes slipping off his feminine frame, leaving his chest exposed as the fox continued to tug against him, "I-I don't want to go home naked."

"Well, unless you have something else to offer me, you're going to have to." The kitsune replied, looking up at the human as he swayed his tails, his eyes sparkling with magical delight, "It's the rules, after all. And besides, does it matter if you have to walk home naked today, given that tomorrow morning you'll be the best mage in the guild?"

"The best?" Hollow replied, his curiousity piqued as he looked into the fox's eyes. The village wasn't far, and the guild was right on the edge of it. He could probably slip in without anyone seeing him... and didn't he have an invisibility spell in his spellbook anyway? It seemed like it was a worthwhile trade after all, "Alright, let me get undressed then."

The kitsune grinned widely as he shuffled back, continuing to block the door as he watched the human undress. Hollow found himself pretty shy, despite the kitsune being an animal and therefore always naked. He slipped the robes over his head and put them on the floor, stepping back as he found himself left in his sandals and a pair of silky pink panties. He moved his hands over them to cover himself as much as he could, "So, I'll get the blessing tomorrow then?"

"Oh, those too." The kitsune grinned, licking his lips as he stepped over the robes and sniffed over the human's crotch, "The food smell is coming from them way stronger than it is off the robes. I bet they're the tastiest part of all."

"C-can't you just eat my robes and be happy with them?" the human replied with a blush, though as the kitsune shot him another impatient glare he rolled his eyes and slipped his panties down... though as he crouched to slip them over his feet he found the kitsune's snout sniffing his snow white hair, "What is it now?"

"The food smell... it's not coming from your clothes, it's coming from..." the kitsune's eyes widened, giving the human a little lick over his forehead as he let out a pleased murr at the Cinnamon-like taste of the human's pale skin, "Mmm, Cinnamon. I guess you're where the food smell is coming from."

"Oh?" the mage blinked, shuffling back as much as he could as he began to slip his panties back up, managing to get them past his knees as he looked at the fox, "Well, what does that mean? Don't you want my robes anymore?"

"Of course not, I only accept offerings of food, after all." The kitsune murred, taking a few steps back from the human as he continued to lick his lips. Hollow had only just managed to slip the panties back over his crotch and rear before he noticed the room was growing around him. He glanced forward, noticing as the kitsune's tails swayed hypnotically, leaving a trail of white light behind them as they drifted by, "And I see you came here to offer yourself... very brave, but a good way to ensure you get what you requested~"

"I-I didn't-" Hollow stammered, taking a step back as his feminine underwear became baggier until finally he found his panties were bigger than himself. The kitsune grinned in excitement as he lowered his paw on the human, stepping around him to examine his naked form.

"Liiiittle moooorrreee.." the kitsune muttered, his tails wagging in anticipation as he watched the human shrink. He didn't want to overshoot it after all. "There!" he gasped, his eyes flashing as his tails stopped glowing. He leaned down and nosed at the human's stomach, licking his lips with a grin. The human stood at about six inches, and at just the right size to fit entirely in the fox's muzzle without anything sticking out. "Perfect! Small enough to be food, but big enough for belly rubs."

"Y-you're not seriously going to eat me, are you?" The human asked, trying to keep his eyes on the kitsune as he began to circle around him. The sound of the kitsune's paws thumping against the wooden floor filled his ears, he could see his timid reflection in the vulpine's eyes as it leaned down, nosing at him to knock him onto his back, his smooth, flat tongue slurping slowly across Hollow's front as his tails wagged behind him with delight.

"Hey, when you're the best mage in the guild, it's going to be worth it, right?" the kitsune winked at the human before slamming his foot down, hitting the loose floorboard beneath his prey and launching him into the air. Hollow felt his stomach turn as he flailed, trying to grab onto anything he could. He finally snatched the white tip of the kitsune's tail, only to find it hovering precariously over the kitsune's drooling mouth, "C'mon, snack. In you go~"

Hollow couldn't help but take a nervous peek into the kitsune's mouth. His sharp, white teeth didn't seem like they would even come close to him from the angle he was going to drop. The scent of rice and fried tofu hung on the fox's breath as it washed over his body, warming his underside until the fox's flat, canid tongue ran over it with a pleased murr. The kitsune was patient, waiting for his meal to let go. He could have dropped him in at any time, but he waited for the human to make the move.

The mage took a deep breath, he could feel his hands slipping on the soft, fluffy fur of the kitsune's tail. It began to wiggle as the kitsune grinned up at him, his other four tails wagging back and forth in anticipation. His tongue slipped out just enough to lick at the human's feet before slipping between his meal and his tail. Hollow panted as he felt the kitsune's saliva wash over him, he moved his hands to grip onto it instead as he blushed, finally accepting his fate.

The kitsune slowly retracted his tongue, keeping it steady for the human as he slipped between his black, furry lips. He held him in his mouth for a moment, allowing him a chance to get himself comfortable before closing his mouth around him with a low, lustful murr. He began to suck on the human, forcing him into his cheeks and holding him there as he licked over him, "So good~" he drooled.

"Th-thanks," Hollow replied, panting as he pushed back against the tongue with his hands. The kitsune wouldn't have to do too much licking around to figure out how the human really felt about the situation, his fascination with dragons had left him staring into diagrams of their mouths... but the kitsune's mouth served as a perfect place for his fantasy as well, now that he was small enough to be swallowed whole.

"Mmmph~" the kitsune gave a muffled response before bringing the cinnamon flavoured human back into the center of his mouth. He tilted his head back and closed his eyes, taking his first gulp to bring the human into his throat, which clung to Hollow's slim form and began to massage over him, pulling him further into the fox with each gulp.

The human's eyes widened as he suddenly recalled his situation. He began to squirm as he slipped further down, though he knew there was no getting back into the kitsune's mouth at this point. The only way was forward, and that meant joining the other offerings left at the shrine. He gasped as his head entered the stomach, cringing a little at the strong smell as he slipped into it.

The kitsune opened his eyes just enough to see the room around him as he took his final gulp. He breathed out a sigh of relief as his throat was cleared before leaning up to the table, lapping some of the water from the bowl to wash the human down, "Thank you for your offering, human."

"H-hey!" Hollow gasped, spluttering as the cold water splashed down over him. He began to kick at the stomach walls, feeling as they tossed him about with each of the kitsune's steps, "That was really cold."

"Oh, sorry." The kitsune grinned down at his gut. The human was barely noticable, though he did add a little paunch to his otherwise slim form. He gave his belly a loving nuzzle as he licked his lips, "Mm, I can still taste you. I hope you enjoy your stay in there, my little human treat." he snickered before prancing out of the shrine, leaving the human's robes behind him.

The kitsune paused for a moment to grin over at the stone statue of the fox before performing a little dance infront of it, "Haha, I ate your offering~" he sang, lowering himself and shaking his rump at the fox, his tails held high in pride as they shook back and forth with his rear, "You snooze, you lose, shrine boy!"

"Do not mock me, wild one." the statue growled before leaping forward, the stone around it shattering into dust and leaving a white-furred kitsune. He landed on the brown fox and pinned him down, his seven tails high as he raised his head to look down at him, "I trust you don't plan to harm the human, he has done nothing wrong."

"Pshh, no. I'm just holding him for a little while," the kitsune replied, reaching down a paw to pat his squirming gut before returning his gaze to the shrine kitsune, pouting as he whined dramatically, "Please take mercy, oh servant of Inari. We wild foxes don't have anything to eat but mice~"

"You embarrass yourself. But if you mean no harm to the human, I will allow you to leave with him." The shrine fox replied, allowing the brown fox to get to his feet before glaring into his eyes, "But if you come here again, you will be the one in a stomach."

"Please, we both know I'd ruin your concentration. You can't even guard the shrine when you're paying attention, let alone when you've got a squirmy belly of kitsune to ignore," the brown fox grinned mischeviously before prancing off towards the forest... only to stop and glance over his shoulder, "Wait, there was one more thing."

"Oh?" the shrine fox asked, raising an eyebrow at the kitsune, "And what would that be?"

The brown kitsune grinned as he sauntered past the white fox, his tails wagging back and forth. After a moment of searching around he returned with a pair of pink panties held in his mouth, drool dripping off of them.

"What?" he asked, noticing the shrine fox glaring at him, "My belly-pet is going to want them when he gets out."

"Belly pet? Is that what he's been reduced to?" The shrine kitsune asked with a little smile, taking a quick glance down at the other fox's stomach before reaching out a paw to feel the human inside it, "And what of the blessing?"

"Well that's the best part." The kitsune grinned, wagging his tails proudly as he headed back towards the forest, "The most powerful mage In all the realm is going to belong to me~"

The stomach was a lot larger than he thought it'd be. The walls were smooth like velvet, and constantly massaged against his naked form as he gently rubbed against them, panting as he moved his hand from between his legs and wiped it off in his hair, lost in the ecstasy of the moment.

Hollow couldn't help but blush as he overheard the conversation between the two kitsune. He could hear the amusement in the shrine fox's laughter as the two began to chuckle over his fate, but as he listened to them he couldn't help but feel the longing he had when he felt the kitsune's tongue running over him before, the tingle of excitement and rush of arousal at the thought of being the slave to such a creature.

It wasn't the blessing he had come for, but he was glad to have it, and was happy to be his own offering in exchange for it.

The End.
