If you open up your mind,
Tell me what you see.
If you open up your eyes,
Tell me what you feel.
If you open up your heart,
Tell me what you hear.
If you listen with your ears
Tell me who it is that's there.
Is it that special someone,
The one you've been waiting for?
Or is it just a dream, a fragile thought,
Waiting for you to open up?
If you open up yourself,
Tell me what you'd hope to find.
If you look down deep inside,
Tell me what it is that's changed.
If you keep yourself shut in,
Tell me how you hope to know
If that someone is there for you
Tell me why they should care.
Is it that special someone,
The one you've been waiting for?
Or is it a dream, a fragile thought,
Waiting for you to open up?
How can you hope to see
With your eyes closed to the world?
How can you hope to feel
When your heart is locked away?
Open it all up, let in the light
And you will find the one for you
It is that special someone,
