#1 of Trainer Tales

A trainer in his twenties is out with his team of pokemon and comes across an injured lopunny. Can he do anything to help? (Rated M for later chapters)

Yeah, I'm not subtitling the chapters of this story because I'm somewhat lazy (if the infrequent update to my previous stories hadn't given that away.) I have been having fun writing this one though as I am trying to focus more on the story and just mix the sexy parts in. They will still be there, but no all the time. However, because they will be there, the story is rated M. I won't deal with my usual kink and fetishes, just the basic stuff; again because I'm trying to focus more on story. And anywho, that's enough rambling for now. I hope you like it! (I REALLY hope you like it because the next four chapters are already written so it'd be a shame if everyone thought this to be shit.)

When I was younger, I did something I shouldn't have. I know a lot of young teens get curious, and get urges, but I was stupid enough to act on them which I never should have done.

But even still, that was just a youthful folly; something that happened long ago that I had left buried in my past. That could eventually be forgotten and forgiven. But what just happened; that will change things. I am lying here right now realizing that this is something I can't undo.

It all started about a week ago. I was in the woods with my five pokemon; Flareon, Grovyle, Sandslash, Raichu, and Charizard. I was doing a bit of training with Sandslash and Raichu, trying to get Raichu more used to, and better equipped to battling, opponents who wouldn't be affected by his electric attacks. It was a normal day and everything was going fine. In fact, we had just finished training for the time being and I was about to call out my other three pokemon to enjoy lunch when I heard shouts a ways away in the woods.

I generally like to keep to myself but I thought it might be another trainer and it would have been great ego have Raichu battle Pokemon and trainers that he was not familiar with. He was my newest pokemon and I was trying to push him to become stronger. I recalled my Sandslash and then turned to Raichu.

"What do you say, Raichu? You have it in you to go take on a new trainer?"

"Rai-rai" he responded confidently, small sparks dancing across the electric sacs on his cheeks.

We headed in the direction of the shouts and after a short while as we got closer, Raichu suddenly perked up. Then he let out a low growl and charged toward the sound of the shouts.

"Raichu, wait!" I shouted after him and took off running behind him. I lost sight of him and he bound into the clearing where the trainer must be battling. I entered the same clearing to find a terrible sight. There were two people, not one, and instead of battling, they were physically beating on a pokemon. The two boys, probably in their late teens, like myself, were punching and kicking what appeared to be a lopunny that was huddled against a tree, trying to hide itself under its large ears. One ear looked badly bent and was bleeding, and there was blood on the ground around the injured pokemon.

"What the hell?!" I shouted at the same time as Raichu uttered a loud but obvious warning to the boys.

The two stopped kicking the lopunny and turned toward me. The first one sneered and grabbed for the pokeball at his waist when Raichu let loose a strong thunder shock, rendering both boys quite helpless. "Raichu!" I yelled to stop him as he continued to shock them. He wavered for a second but then continued his attack and I quickly had to grab his pokeball and recall him to prevent him from doing and serious, lasting harm to the boys. Despite the terrible punishment they were doling to the lopunny, a pokemon attacking a human was a very bad thing and could lead to the Pokemon being put down. And had they found out it was a trainer's pokemon the trainer would have their other Pokemon removed and would be banned from further capturing or training of pokemon.

The boys were now on the ground, not terribly injured but also not in any state to move so if rushed over to the lopunny. "Are you alright?" I asked, reaching out to move away its ear and try to see how injured the rest of it was.

As I touched it, it flinched and let out a soft and pathetic "pun". I reached for my empty pokeball to try and capture it quickly so I could bring it to a Pokemon Center but as a did it stood up and tried to bound away, quickly collapsing with a dreadful cry of pain. I moved close again and saw that it was a female lopunny and that her leg was badly broken.

"Shit!" I muttered to myself and without further thinking scooped her up and started running away from the clearing, down the nearest path. I didn't get far before I calmed down enough to be more rational and realized that I wasn't sure which direction I was heading or where the nearest Pokemon center was. I fumbled to grab a pokeball without dropping the lopunny and called out Charizard.

He came out with a roaring "Char" and looked over to see me carrying Lopunny.

"Some guys hurt her badly Charizard, and we need to get to a Pokemon center right now!" He quickly nodded without question and I grabbed hold of his back, trying to stabilize both myself and Lopunny. My Charizard was slightly larger than average at about 6'4" but it was still a trick to get us both on his back. However, I got arranged the best I could and he quickly sprung up into the air with a single powerful movement of his wings. I quickly scanned every direction but Charizard was quicker and before I even saw it he thrust himself through the sky toward a town near the distant edge of the forest.

As we flew toward the town I could hear the occasional soft cries of the lopunny I was carrying. "Hang in there Lopunny" I said.

"Ny" she replied softly, still squeezing her eyes shut out of fear and pain.

When we finally got to the pokecenter in town, Charizard had barely landed when I sprung from his back, clumsily grabbed his ball and recalled him, and then rushed inside. The nurse looked up as I came in and before she could say a word I exclaimed "this lopunny needs help!"

The nurse jumped up and rushed the lopunny into the nearest empty room immediately. "How could you do this to your lopunny?" She yelled angrily.

"I didn't do this and she isn't mine." I replied, not taking my eyes off the badly injured pokemon as they got her situated on a bed and started trying to look at her injuries. "My raichu and I found her like this in the woods and couldn't leave her like this."

"Well certainly not!" She replied. "Her leg is badly broken and she is in horrible pain. Whoever did this nearly killed her!" The nurse exclaimed, still obviously angry at the mistreatment of the pokemon.

After getting Lopunny sedated and slightly relaxed, the nurse excused herself for a moment to go get what she needed to start working on the leg. As soon as she left, I brought out Raichu. He immediately looked around and rushed over when he saw Lopunny on the bed.

"She'll be ok, Raichu." I reassured him. "But I can't believe what you did to those two boys!" I scolded.

He looked over and then gave me a defensive and angry look. "Chu..." He started with a raised voice.

"Don't yell at me!" I quickly cut him off. "I know why you did it but if someone finds out that you attacked two humans and that you're my pokemon, we'll both be in huge trouble!"

He suddenly looked surprised and then sullen and dropped his eyes to the floor. I turned around to see the nurse standing in the doorway. I started to say something, hoping to get her not to take away my raichu but she held up a hand to silence me and then walked past me. "So you attacked two boys because you thought you needed to save her?" She asked, glaring right at Raichu from only a foot away from him.

Without raising his eyes from the floor he gave an affirmative nod accompanied with a barely audible "Raichu-rai" in reply.

She turned and me and asked "and you stopped him before they were too badly hurt?" I immediately said I had and then begged her not to take him away. She held up a hand again and turned back to Raichu. "You're a good Raichu" she said and then patted his head and gave him a piece of pokeblock that she pulled from her pocket. Raichu looked up, unsure at first, but saw her now grinning face and immediately grabbed the pokeblock and happily popped it in his mouth. I went over and quickly gave him a strong hug, relieved immeasurably that I wouldn't lose him. "I am going to have to ask you both to go wait back in the lobby now though." The nurse said. "I want to work on setting her leg right away and stitching up her torn ear. It won't be easy to watch and I don't want either of you to have to sit through it. And I certainly wouldn't want you thinking I'm hurting her" she said with a smile, looking down at Raichu who quickly got embarrassed and dropped his gaze to the floor again. "Stick around though, if you can. Even if she isn't your pokemon now, I'd be surprised if she didn't choose to join you after saving her. Lopunny are very timid pokemon a lot of the time, and are very skilled at fleeing long before a trainer can get close enough to battle or capture them, so not many trainers get the chance to capture them. This could be your lucky day." The nurse looked back toward the injured lopunny. "It's a shame that the circumstances weren't much better, though."

"Well thank you, nurse. Do anything you can to help her, I'll still be here no matter what." She nodded and then started to arrange the tools and devices she brought in with her as I walked out of the room with Raichu looking back at Lopunny one more time before following me out.

"Don't worry" I tried to say with more confidence than I managed "she'll be fine."

Raichu responded with an equally wavering "rai" and we sat next to each other on a wide chair in the large, mostly empty lobby. I don't know that either of us really believed that Lopunny would be alright, but at that moment we both were pretending to as a way to be strong and supportive for each other.
