The Justicar angled his wrist-mounted camera around the corner, a small view screen appeared on his HUD to see what his camera saw as well. Skeletal remains of what Arjun assumed was the squad head quarter lost contact with, he turned off his camera with a voice command and it folded back into his armor.

"HQ we have visual contact with the lost team" said the Justicar

A brief period of static filled Arjun's ears until the filtered voice of a VALOR marine responded on the communicator built into his helmet. "Copy, are they alive?"

"Negative." The Justicar spat out the word

"Secure the immediate area and learn what you can from the Khaos data banks located there" ordered the toneless marine

"Roger, head quarters, Justicar out"

Commander To'vash singled Zhakaev to take point with a wave of his hand, swearing under his breath the half Darkspawn slowly walked forward with his rifle raised.

The Justicar quickly made his way over to To'vash as the alien followed behind his last living squad mate, Arjun scanned the room looking for any genesis creatures that may have been hiding. They loved doing that.

"What's the deal with the new point-man, To'vash? He's a Darkspawn...you know, the bad guys?" whispered Arjun

"Justicar, we are entering the core of a Khaos military base, and a squad lost contact here instantly, I don't think its time to talk about trivial things."

Zhakaev looked down the barrel of his rifle when he noticed something in this room was alive, he quickly turned his head left to see a massive genesis creature, the titanic undead slammed its fist onto the ground narrowly missing him.

Arjun quickly drew his sword at the sight of the beast and yelled. "Can we talk about this? Or is that too trivial for you as well!"

Carpender took his audio diary away from his head and placed them back under his chest wrappings. "Ah, much quitter. The screams started to get annoying. "Laughed the necromancer

He floated down the corridor has he kept his gaze focused on the clean glass windows that overlooked the arena floor. "Nalfiria would make a good genesis creature, she could follow orders, and go away when I ask, not to mention overall I think she would look better. " He laughed at his own thoughts

Carpender peered into the final resting place of Liken and Nalfiria, he found several dead genesis creatures, understandable, he thought he did train Liken to be efficient in killing but Carpender knew they would be as dead and broken as the undead.

But Carpender could not locate the Valgary or the Darkspawn, he found headless lashers, chewed up ghiests, mutilated bodies of shifters and bloody ribbons of what seemed to belong to fleshless ones.

The necromancer slammed his fists on the metal desk in front of him. "Nothing can kill that many genesis creatures at once!" Carpender slammed his armored fist onto the desk breaking it into halves.

The necromancer took a deep breath. "Even if Liken...hypothetically... could kill all the undead I sent down there, this is no way she could keep the wretch alive as well!"

Carpender took another breath, he pressed his intercom button to signal for reinforcements just in case in the odd chance the Valgary was not put down, the necromancer repeatedly pressed the button but no response came.

"Damn communicator has to act up now! Fine, I'll just send more undead down there, myself."

He floated towards the hall entrance he previously exited and opened the door with a wave of his hand to find a blood drenched Liken heavily breathing with her claws curled into fists, the Valgary smelled as she took a chemical bath in Carpender's lab so he knew the blood that soaked the Valgary's skin was not her own.

And to Carpender's surprise Nalfiria stood behind the enraged Valgary with not a single scratch on her unblemished body. Liken took a step forward as Carpender quickly made up a lie.

"Congratulations! You...passed the final and hardest test!"

The Valgary stopped and cocked her head to the side looking directly at Carpender's covered eyes. "It was a test to see how would you react in extremely unfavorable odds!"

"And what about Nalfiria." Hissed Liken

"It was to see..." Carpender continued to think up more lies to spew out. "...How would you handle if an unarmed civilian was in your vicinity as well."

Nalfiria finally spoke up. "He's lying, Liken, just how he lied about Zhakaev's death."

Carpender sneered. "You told her that!"

Liken took anther step forward from Carpender's response confirming Nalfiria was telling the truth, the necromancer floated backwards to keep his distance from the slowly approaching Valgary.

"Yes I did ‘lie' but it was for a good reason! Thinking that the Justicar killed your friend was just the..." Carpender paused to think of a word. "...Motivation you need on the human."

"So you made me believe Zhakaev was dead all this time!" yelled Liken now with her voice raised

"Who better else?"

Liken took a large stride to now be breathing in Carpender's personal space, the necromancer tilted his head upwards so he wouldn't have to smell the bloodied alien.

"Where is Zhakaev?" she demanded

Carpender didn't answer, as he was too busy finding a way to combat the smell. Annoyed, Liken pulled the floating being by the neck and dragged him to the ground.

"Now. Apothecary."

"A giant, acid shooting, undead behemoth! Seriously, who creates this stuff!?" complained the Justicar as the massive zombie vomited on Arjun's last position, dissolving the several computers in its proximity.

To'vash took several shots at the genesis behemoth without any luck, the plasma rounds simply irritated the undead's thick skin. He quickly jumped behind a cluster of vacant stasis pods reloading his rifle as the undead spat out more of its volatile fluid from its gaping maw.

"It will take a lot more than we have here to take that undead down" angrily said Zhakaev at the fact a simple matter of weaponry was holding him back.

The behemoth tried to squash the Justicar like a bug but the agile human leaped backwards at the last second causing the monster to destroy many more computers. "F that! I'll take down this giant, myself!" boasted the Justicar as he taunted the behemoth

To'vash looked out of cover to see the Justicar running towards the behemoth with his sword raised above his head. "Human! Don't do anything stupid!" warned To'vash

Arjun Fiaz leaped into the air onto the undead's thigh and began climbing upwards.

"Too late." Sighed Zhakaev

Two shifters greeted their master as Carpender gave them a casual wave; Liken and Nalfiria followed the necromancer into the underground Khaos structure.

Hundreds of genesis creatures were stationed at computers located all across the massive room doing their assigned tasks, regulating genesis creature production, coordinating with Khaos generals in the nearby solar systems against VALOR forces and their terrorist allies, or making the base runs at peak quality.

Carpender made his way past his creations to a large metal table located in the center of the room, a very well built alien greeted Carpender warmly as he then focused his view back on the built in map on the table.

"Carpender, and ladies. How can I help you today?" greeted the high ranked officer

Carpender bowed. "Yom'thar, Liken would like to locate some one in particular."

Yom'thar nodded. " It would be an honor to help the Justicar's soon to be killer."

The heavily armored Ra'ktan moved from his position so Liken could reach the controls, with verbal instructions from the towering alien she slowly went through the process in how to operate the advance map, Carpender let out a hacking cough to get the Valgary's attention.

"Yes?" asked Liken as she tried to learn what to do on her own.

"I'll save you some time, Liken, I already know where Zhakaev is, he's enlisted with the humans " said the necromancer truthfully.

Enraged, the Valgary slammed her fists onto the map with a loud crash breaking the valuable equipment. Genesis creatures in the immediate area quickly turned towards the sound of the noise, the undead Darkspawns watched as Liken jumped over the broken table and made her way to their creator.

"And 'why' should I believe this! That's absurd, Zhakaev would rather die then help the humans!"

Carpender backed up trying not to fumble over a computer so he could keep his distance away from Liken, the necromancer looked around the room before he settled his gaze on the Valgary.

"Yom'thar, I think Liken and Nalfiria have earned the right to know the truth." smiled the Necromancer

The burly Ra'ktan nodded quietly and unfolded his large arms as he made his way towards Carpender.

The undead behemoth roared in anger as it tried to reach for the silver warrior who continued to evade all of its attempted captures. "Come on you oversized pile of bones! Try to hit me!" boasted the Justicar proudly on the monster's shoulder.

The behemoth reached out again with its opposite arm, the gnarled claw came close of snatching Arjun if he hadn't jumped out of its clutches at the last second and now balanced himself on top of the undead's head. "You call that an attack ha my grandmo-" laughed the Justicar before the behemoth grabbed Arjun off the top of its head like an annoying fly.

Arjun struggled from within the constricted prison as the genesis construct slowly brought its dinner in front of its face. The Justicar looked at the gaping maw of the undead, its massive mouth covered almost half of its body with its head only being the top half of a skull, the behemoth roared in unholy victory as Arjun's struggle made no impact on its grip.

"Uh guys? A little back up would be nice" said Arjun sarcastically

The behemoth slowly began moving its enclosed fist towards the open mouth that belonged to it in an effort to make the silver armored human its next meal.

"Hang in there Arjun! I'll get you out!" shouted To'vash as he frantically tried to come up with a plan.

"You better"! Yelled the Justicar as he continued to struggle. "Cause if I die! I'm gonna fucking kill you!"

The titanic undead roared again, the Justicar's silver and white plated armor was now stained with traces of the monster's acidic spit.

Commander To'vash gripped his energy rifle; he looked at the crosshair that flashed red across his Heads Up display when the gigantic undead was targeted, Arjun was only moments away from being devoured as he slowly squeezed the trigger to let a trio of laser fire to gaze the behemoth's side.

The behemoth turned to face its new attacker, To'vash quickly spun around on his heel and began running in the opposite direction only to pushed down from the sonic force of the behemoth's fearful roar. Arjun managed to wrestle his left arm free, he quickly tried to get his breathing under control after exerting himself to break the monster's hold that imprisoned him for some time.

"Ah, ha!" yelled the Justicar has he drew his sword, but his grip failed causing the blade to fall to the ground when the monster jerked to the side avoiding To'vash's rounds.

"Ah, crap."

The genesis behemoth turned its attention back onto the Justicar after dismissing To'vash's attacks as mere distractions, Arjun angrily looked down at his squad mate. "That was your plan?! You do know machine gunning it to death isn't always the bes-" The behemoth screamed again halting the human's conversation. "Ok that's getting really annoying!"

The Justicar looked down at his sword, which fell upon several computers leaving only shattered shells of what they once were. "Sword, return!" Arjun ordered.

The blade shimmered with electricity as it sprang to life and flew towards Arjun's open palm after it had quickly severed the behemoth's arm, releasing the Justicar in the process as he landed safety on the ground. Arjun Fiaz jumped backwards to create a large distance away from the titanic undead as it screeched in pain sending its embalming fluid across the room with the now stub of an arm.

"Alright you giant, acid spitting, half mouth, half zombie giant...thing. I'm going to kick your ass so hard your going to need to take off your hat to go to the washroom...if you wore a hat that is."

The Justicar raised his sword high into the sky with both hands as he watched the behemoth starting to ignore its wound and focus back on its target that had caused it so much pain. "Divert all emergency power to weapon!" ordered Arjun

There was a moment's pause as the titanic undead slowly made its way towards its prey.

"Acknowledged" answer's the armor's A.I

Arjun's blade exploded in a bright white light that engulfed the entire weapon and illuminated the entire room in a flash of an eye. The genesis behemoth fumbled backwards as it was caught off guard from the near instantaneous burst of energy, the Justicar brought the glowing blade over his shoulder and with the help of gravity he used the excess energy on the blade as a counterweight to send his blade hurling through the air into the chest of the behemoth.

In an explosion of all the energy being released at once, the genesis behemoth was completely disintegrated from the force of the blast leaving only a small crater and the Justicar's blade lying in the center of it.

To'vash joined Arjun's side and looked down at the newly made blast zone. "That still only counts as one kill, human."
