"John, I was talking with Mr. Eliot Bailey of the farm that is located at North, he needs somebody that helps him with some tasks in his farm because he often is not there and his wife does not make them, you will have to pack hay and things of that sort." Lowell says looking at Little John.
He observes his father with attention without understanding what it is his point.
"I offered you to help him, he will pay you for your help." Lowell says while he cuts a piece of meat.
Little John looks with surprise to his father, he smiles seeing that Little John says absolutely nothing while he finishes eaten and cleaning his mouth of the food remnants. Lowell again stirs Little John's hair.
"I think that it is moment that you learn to work to win some money by your own." His father says looking at Little John. He nods in silence while he observes his father, he had always been correct and Little John trusts him completely.
After eating his dinner Little John's father takes his bath, Little John prepares to go to bed. He thinks about the work that his father had gotten him, Mr. Bailey and his wife had moved into the farm last year.
Little John did not know them because never he got close to those places, he gets into bed and he makes himself comfortable. His mother enters in his bedroom and says good night to him with a kiss on the forehead, Little John leans back and sees as his mother gets out of the bedroom.
He tries to fall asleep, around thirty minutes later Little John almost falls asleep until he listens a groan that comes from the bedroom of his parents. He opens his eyes and listens with attention, moans become stronger just like the creaking of the bed of his parents.

Little John listens in regard to his father, he indicates to him that he must be polite with the couple all the time. After thirty minutes Little John finally sees the farm that is near, Little John and his father pass the front entrance and they head toward the house that has a first floor, the house is made of wooden.
Lowell gets close to the door and the he knocks three times, Little John and his father wait until the door opens. Little John sees a man, he is a white pot-bellied rabbit; Little John calculates that he is close to the forty years.
"John, he is Mister Eliot Bailey." Lowell says looking at Little John. He shakes the hand of the man before him. He the man greets Little John, he asks them to get into his house to chat a moment, he offers a glass of water to both.
Little John listens attentively, he listens some steps on the first floor. They are soft step, they are heard in the stairs after some moments. He notices that somebody comes down by the stairs, Little John looks with a little bit of surprise that a woman appears on the stairs.

After the walk-through Little John and his father, say good-bye to Mr. Bailey and they return to their home where they arrive to lunchtime. Leanna asks about the Bailey's farm and their visit.
Little John tries to give a good description of the place, but Alana's image comes to his mind over and over again and he has some difficulties to concentrate. The rest of the day Little John spends it helping his mother to order the house while his father repairs the roof.
