Berry's Best Friend For DrakeHavok by Draconicon

Havok blushed as he walked in on his new guest, all undressed, and turned around the corner quickly.

"Sorry, sorry! I didn't know you were dripping."

"Oh come on, silly, don't worry. Come in."

"But you're...I mean..."

"Come oooooon. Don't be such a stuffy cocoa bean."

Having no idea what a cocoa bean would have to be stuffy about, Havok slowly pulled himself back around the corner. His cheeks were bright red, though he couldn't say why. After all, it wasn't as though Berry was one of his own species, even if she was very blatantly female.

Havok still didn't know where the ice cream girl came from, for that matter. The immodest, completely carefree Berry had just arrived at his door one day and said that she was looking for a home. He'd been about to show her to a hotel, but there was something in the way that she looked at him, and he just couldn't turn her away.

Ever since then she'd been living in this back room of his, keeping the room cold and dripping everywhere. How he was going to handle paying for all the cleaning later, he didn't know, but the dragon just couldn't think of turning her out.

She started giggling, and he realized he was staring at her. Blushing, he turned his head away, covering his eyes.

"Sorry, I don't mean to keep doing that."

"Silly silly Havie! Just look. I don't wear clothes for a reason."

"Besides that they'd get all wet and sticky in seconds?"

"Hee hee, I guess. Now look at me. Come on, don't be shy."

He knew that it wasn't the nice thing to do, but Havok couldn't help it. There was something about this girl that made it hard to ignore her requests. It was another reason why things were so expensive; she was running his electric bill up through the roof paying to keep it so cool back here.

He looked up, and he couldn't help but smile. Though she was dripping everywhere, from her slender arms to her thick thighs, she was undeniably cute. Pink everywhere but her forearms and lower legs, she definitely looked like her name. Not to mention she was sweeter than any berry that you could name.

She giggled, waving him over, and he went with her. Sitting down on her couch - and reminding himself to change clothes later - he was soon joined by her. She laid a cold, cold arm over his shoulders and pulled him in close.

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?"

"I guess not..."

"Heh, have you thought more about my offer?"

Offer. Yes, yes, the offer.

Havok still didn't know what she meant. She said that she could make it so everything was great, that he wouldn't have to worry about all the things she was doing, or the costs she was running up. All he had to do in exchange was stay with her for one night and it would all be done.

The thing was, he didn't know what she was going to do. He felt a little uneasy around her, despite her cuteness and sweetness. Every time that he came away from her room, he felt like he should be finding a way to get rid of her, to put her in a place that would be able to help her more. But every time that he came back, the thought went right out of his head, and it never came back until he was alone for a while again.

"I, um, I don't know. What would you be doing?"

"Oh, so many fun things. But you should keep it a surprise. I love surprises, don't you?"

He didn't, but when she looked at him like that, her body seeming to ripple and wave with those melting parts, he felt like he did.

"So, why don't you join me, silly?"

"I, uh..."

She wobbled, moving to sit looking straight at him. His eyes were locked on her, her body waving, rippling with the melting ice cream that she never seemed to run out of.

"Please stay with me..."

"I...."

He rubbed his head.

"Okay, okay, I will."

"Yay! Alright, come back after the sun's down, and it'll count then. Promise."

She let him go, and he stumbled out of her room. He made it halfway back down the hallway before he remembered he was covered in melted ice cream. More than that, he was halfway through his shower before he realized he'd promised to stay overnight.

"Why the hell did I do that?" he asked himself.

When he arrived after the sun went down, it was like he was talking to a different person. Berry was much more focused, and more forceful. As soon as he stepped through her door, she demanded his clothes. When he tried to say no, she stared at him with so much force, and her body rippling so much, that it was impossible. His thoughts went out of his head before he could muster them.

So he was confused when he found himself in the center of the room, in the middle of a puddle of ice cream, naked, with Berry rubbing his shoulders.

"So...what exactly are you going to do?"

"Spend the night with you."

"And...how does that work?"

"Oh, I'm just going to swallow you up inside me."

"Wha-"

The ice cream under his feet surged upwards, wrapping around his ankles before he could stop them. The cool liquid flowed up his legs, running along his scales and leaving him gasping at the cold touch.

It didn't help that Berry was rubbing his shoulders, wrapping her legs around his waist and pressing herself against him as much as she could. He wobbled back and forth, but such was the sticky grip of the ice cream on the ground that he couldn't move. It slipped up his body, both sticky and slippery at the same time, as Berry started to melt around his middle, flowing over his stomach and around his chest.

"I need a friend...and I'll make you a friend of mine."

"But...Berry...I am your...friend..."

"But now you'll be an even better...friend."

The ice cream around him rippled, sending that same weird feeling through his head when Berry did it. He froze, unable to move as his thoughts were disrupted yet again. The ice cream rippled again, and again, each one a wave that pushed his thoughts further from his head. In seconds, the ripples were all that was left, feeling like waves coming down a beach, wiping away childrens' writing in the sand.

And as his mind cleared, his body was more and more covered by the strawberry mess. It covered his legs in seconds, and it moved over his chest and stomach. It didn't take long for it to sweep down his tail and over his rump, and his naked crotch was likewise swallowed, though with a thicker layer that left him looking almost neutered.

Soon only his face was left uncovered. He looked ahead blankly, his eyes straining to focus on something, and the only thing left was Berry's rising face. She shimmered in the low light of her room, and her face rippled like a lake in a rainstorm.

"Friend..."

She leaned forward, kissing him. He tasted strawberries, then nothing.

When he woke up, he was incredibly hot. He whimpered, rolling about, pushing at the weight on top of him like there were blankets that could be shoved off. With every push, however, all he felt was a brief sense of relief followed by the heat getting worse. More than that, it didn't feel like he was pushing weight off, just that he was pushing it away before it came back to him again.

"Berry!"

It was the only thing he could think to do. His only friend. He needed her.

"Berry! Help me!"

"Here! Here!"

He felt his mouth get forced open, and something cold touch his tongue. Havok gasped, sucking it down and moaning in relief. Another and another were pushed into his mouth, and he swallowed again and again.

After the fifth mouthful, he realized she was feeding him ice cubes. And realizing that, he opened his eyes.

It wasn't his body that he saw. It was a blob of vanilla ice cream, roughly shaped like him. The ice floated through the rippling, melting mess, and it soothed him where they went. Another mouthful, another bit of heat disappearing, and he almost felt normal.

As the ice cubes ran out, Berry grabbed him in a tight hug. For a second, their flavors seemed to swirl together, then separated again. He hugged her back, his body operating on instinct, his mind filled with confusion. She lifted her head up, and rippled, and the confusion faded.

"Hee hee, friend. My friend. Aren't you a good friend for Berry?"

"Yep, best friend!"

"Best friends!"

"Best friends!"

They hugged, giggling. Havok had no idea what he had been so worried about, but he doubted it could be important. Not as important as his new best friend, anyway.
