Random Poetry
I don't know what else to call it... I was just in the mood to write about how I feel but had no idea how I'd use my characters for it... so I resorted to poetry. I won't expect this to attract much people... but I felt like sharing this with you guys anyway.
I might make more or maybe even a continuation to this... but that'd depend on my mood... then again, I won't be expecting people to ask more of this.
When I turn my head to look out the window,
When I look up and see the path ahead
Staring straight into the darkness and its bellow
With uncertainty and fear, the path I slowly tread
The clutches of my past slowly loosen, leaving me astray
The life I once had, left behind
The world I once knew begins to fade away
The joys I once had all in my mind
But that is life, ever moving forward
It does not stop and wait for the fallen
It will not praise the faithful with an award
Nor will it comfort the sullen
I fall to my knees as the darkness envelops
I clasp my head, trying to remain sane
Oh how the cold and pain develops
How I wish everything would remain the same
