Confessions of a Dragon: Chapter 2

Jim the Leader of the Group:

I have Four humans whom I consider close friends. Jim Baker is my main contact here on earth. He is among the first to meet me on my arrival. An ex-military type, he was barely phased seeing me face to face. I assume all his war experiences helped him keep his composure. Most humans are intimidated by the presence of a dragon as such as myself, even if they are briefed beforehand.

But not Jim. He remained cool and calm. Not only he shook my paw in greeting, his hands stayed steady in its firm grip. Standing like that to a creature that can easily tears you apart impressed me a lot. Almost nothing can shake this man... almost is the key word here as we will see later.

David the Clown:

The second friend I have here is David Salis. Right away I can tell by his demeanor that he is fascinated with dragons. While Jim is calm, David is quite the opposite. Often talkative and excitable, he took my friendship readily. Though sometimes I wish he'll shut up as he can talk your ears off. Other than that, he can be fun to be around.

David works as a technician on the gateways, not an easy job I can tell you. A bright engineer that always greets me with his equally bright smile. He bends backwards to help anyone in need. And he knows technology very well, a talent which proved very useful in the future episodes. He also kinda a class clown, the type that stands out in a crowd. People like to gather around him as the fun person to chat. That is until your ears fall off.

Ted the Hard Nosed Security Guy:

Ted Pekk became the third friend. He heads security at the facility and have extensive law enforcement experience In the past, only second to Jim in weapons knowledge. Still a formidable man to deal with if you made him an enemy. Hard edge in his line of work, I found he has a soft heart once you drill through his shell.

While no where as open as David, Ted does have plenty of old stories to tell. Just need a little prodding to reveal his past. I got a feeling when I first met him that he was afraid of me. Naturally untrusting due to his field, I felt him sizing me up as a potential foe. Even though his outward appearance seemed normal, I could just tell he is ready to respond to any threat quickly. His hand never strays far from his holster, always on the ready and alert. I can take him out if I wanted to, but he will make a good fight of it I am sure. Good thing we are on good terms. I really don't want to be on the wrong side of his collection of weapons.

Sally the Lovely Doctor:

I became quite close to my doctor Sally Bentli. She took my first physical and I can tell you she was very embarrassed as was I. And since dragon are virtually unknown in the human medical field, things were very awkward indeed. She had to consult with veterinarians a few times to get a grasp of the anatomical differences.

And giving test samples proved interesting too. She had to use a very large needle and syringe to take my blood sample. That took some work to penetrate my tough hide. But I gave many pints to study. Now, giving a urine sample proved even more interesting. I am too big to fit in the small restroom, so we had to take the sample in the main examining room (which I fit just barely). In hindsight we should have gone out to one of the hangers or some other larger room. At any case, Dr. Bentli had to find a large bucket as those tiny specimen cups not remotely going to hold it. Even then I had to aim for the sink. Such an arrangement eventually failed and a good deal of my piss spilled all over the doctor. Good thing humans have a poor sense of small cause I could smell my scent on her for a good week in spite of throughly bathing many times. Of course, that was very embarrassing and we didn't tell anyone of the incident for a very long time.

Eventually, we developed a good relationship. Sally relaxed over the years to the point that we are comfortable and very frank in our medical discussions. An when the time for me to give a semen sample, we had fun with it if you know what I mean. Hell, I even marked her a few times, on purpose too. Yeah, we went beyond the usual (if you can even call it that) doctor-patient relationship.

The Four Amigos:

Well, those four are the only ones that know about my upcoming crime fighting exploits. No one else, human or otherwise, knows except a very few "survivors" and of course the guilty. But the former can not tell anyone of it... unless ghosts can talk. I hoped to get to the first case in this chapter but it looks like I have to get to it in the next. At any rate, I hope to peek your interest in my memoirs. Now with some of the characters and background past us, I can get on with the "meat" of the action. Things really going to get graphic and gross from here on out. I won't blame any out you for bailing once I really get going. Most humans will not be able to 'stomach' what I will write about.

If any of you have any questions, feel free to ask. I skipped a lot of details and I'm sure there are spots that could need filling. Like I said before, I'm not a writer so I could left you confused at a few places all too easy.

BTW, I have the RTF versions on my Fur Affinity page if you prefer those.
