Four thousand years and humanity still ends up at square one even after the finical recovery they still did not make anything better for themselves rubbish started building up and the humans rioted like they always do when it comes to the politicians not sorting out the national disasters that came along one by one. First the Asian continent split up then the north and south American continents joined together in order to gain stability which they seemed to lack due to a presidents have baked ideas when it came to putting things back in order.

Then we came along animals evolving like humans did from apes slowly we rise from walking on four legs or swimming with fins to walking on the land with two legs and using hands with opposable thumbs like they do. But like the people before them in history they shunned us they used part of the abandoned islands made by Japan years back by taking dirt, rocks and other materials from the mountains to construct them.

We the earth's animals now evolved we're just left to our own devices on these islands which was something of a hard time before one naga decided we should start our own country our own way of life. He showed us how to build and farm within a couple of months we had progressed through different stages of science and technology faster than the humans ever did before they reached the age of televisions and computers.

It was a good place to live every animal knew each other regardless of which island they live on and what species they we're and as the years went by the humans came to ask to start building relations with us letting our people and theirs mix and live together in harmony. However some places in the world did not like this they started trying to sink trade ships and kidnapping some of our people using them as examples of torture to scare us though they never killed them.

Our leader the naga was worried and started to point the finger at any country he deemed to hate us so much to perform such acts of hate towards us which the humans did not take to kindly too especially when one of our people decided to do something so shocking that the human race was scared into going to war before being forced to leave earth.

This one weasel decided to take a homemade bomb and plant it at a nuclear plant in the centre of Europe before heading to a safe distance and letting it explode whipping out nearly every single European nation with in the blast radius. The humans decided to go to war with us sending their armies and their navies everything they could throw to exterminate us jets, bombers, tanks, destroyers and gun boats anything they could get to work while we thought back hard using our own defences and devices we developed causing the humans to retreat as all they could see from us was the colours of our eyes and the explosions of our cluster bomb shells.

We never did move off the islands after defending our own country but it only took a short time before the humans couldn't afford to make any more ammunition or run boats and planes so they decided to sign a treaty with us then they just decided to leave earth for dead seeing us as too dangerous to live with even if it was one weasel acting alone and not on our peoples behalf when he knew none of us wanted to make the humans hate or be scared of us since they started mixing with us.

Another page in our history the day the animals inherited the earth from the once population of human beings who owned it before we evolved to their intelligence level and beyond. Our leader knew he couldn't watch over all of this new land that we had to claim so he sent a lion to watch over the west side of the earth with some settlers to make a new country which only made us more determined to achieve unity all over the world we lived in.

In all the time we never thought we would make it to this stage of evolution from the position we we're in once before all those years back when we walked on four legs and begged for treats from the humans we called our masters. I had no personal quarrels with humans myself the people I knew came and went on one side of a glass panel from the zoo in London I lived I never understood the humans fascination with Lynx's even if there we're different species of us and all I could make out from their language was the words rare species and near extinction in the wild.

Not knowing what those words made back then was kind of a pain till now when we could finally understand what all these terms meant looking around everywhere I could see very little of my own kind here on these islands or even the west part of the world. Living with more common felines never really helped ether but life went on as it always does never ending and always continuing despite the dramatic events in the history books of this place we call home.

Our oldest people started working on writing and working on the history of our people recording every event before and current while the youngest and most mature of us worked on towards making more advanced technology. While the usual dramas of everyday life plagued the population from religious views to political disputes something I never really took a interest in as I was only a low lever electrical engineer.

Working from nine o'clock in the morning till five in the evening for the money that keeps our community running day in day out some had the benefits of family and having kids when they reach twenty years old but not me. I lived on my own from the day I moved into my home sure there have been some flings here and there plus the occasional one night stand but nothing ever beyond the friend zone or friends with benefits but I never complained.

As usual events kept happening from boats and car crashes to our leaders having ideas and changes put in place to make our world better in their eyes but it seemed to have little effect even if they decided to move a single tram stop a couple of miles down the street to the bottom of a hill to make it easier on pedestrians.

But life soon got better when the leaders decided to share the wealth they had with a select phew people decided by pure facts and what they had done for the world we lived in smaller businesses grew into large stores and some small companies grew to bigger conglomerates than the ones that use to dominate the markets the humans ran years back.

I look out my window every morning seeing a sun rise followed by moving trams and cars moving with little noise down the street every day and it always made me think "if we can evolve to make all this when the humans we called masters shunned us what will come along next for our future generations or what will evolve next to replace us. Who knows maybe it will be the next animal organism to be our pets like we we're to humans.

And if they do evolve we will be sure not to shun them like the humans did as our leader says to us every day "we are living for a united today and a united future " which is really corny but has a meaning just as a bit of graffiti on the tram stop outside does which reads "united we evolve" which seemed to have been left by some child.

It just shows how much we inspire our young and it also paints a brighter picture for our kind
