Another Story Pad, another day.

In this one, we have a wolf named Max who has been going to the gym with a fellow wolf. Along the way, he begins to admire this girl in one of the workout classes he attends.

Mish belongs to: https://mish-mouse.sofurry.com/

"Why don't you just go talk to her, Max? We see her every day in class. It's not like she doesn't know who we are. Generally speaking." Joey poked his gym buddy in the side with a slight snicker, "And if things don't go well, she's a mouse. You're a wolf. You can threaten her a little bit with your stature and size; she'll tumble like a house of straw into a whimpering mess and never speak of it again."

Max gave a nervous laugh while his eyes darted around the aerobics room, "I don't know about all that... I just don't want to ruin the relationship we have going." He pulled out two blue yoga mats for the class, one for him and one for Joey. He wanted to rush his buddy along so others didn't overhear the suggestions his 'friend' was giving him.

The two wolves had known each other for a short time. They lived in the same area, ran with the same pack, so to speak, so they became a sort of friends. When Max had mentioned that he was trying to get into better shape to others, Joey had overheard and gladly volunteered to help him out at the gym, get him familiar and confident with the equipment. Plus he promised to hold Max accountable to a schedule of going consistently to workout. So while Max wasn't entirely sure that he wanted to work out with Joey, he was somewhat forced into it.

A trip to the gym with a loud and abrasive guy, ticket for one, Max thought with a sigh. Since that time, the two had hit the gym five times a week for the past month. Joey was happy to walk Max through the machines, various workout programs, and even helped him get into some of the classes that he would have been too embarrassed to join on his own. The downside to their relationship was that Max was a fairly quiet and thoughtful guy and Joey was...well, not. Max tried to be considerate of others who were working out nearby, doing his best to not get in their way. Joey talked loudly about the girl he had banged the night before while grabbing weights from an occupied bench to use. While Max was the farthest thing from a 'gym rat', he was pretty certain that was bad form to do without at least asking.

The gym that Joey took Max to was pretty nice. It had a monthly fee, plenty of machines and free weights, plus some aerobics rooms and a pool. A week into going to the gym together, they had joined a core workout class, just so Max could see how he liked it. The class itself was just okay in his opinion. The girl who worked out on the other side of the aerobics room was totally worth it. He kept stealing brief glances over at her when he came up for a sit-up or did his planks. Whenever her eyes moved even near him, he quickly glanced down or to the side. He didn't say a word to her when the class finished, just let her walk out. He watched her light pink tail swish back and forth as she left. That was when Joey noticed. The next day, Joey had dragged him back to the class, making occasional pokes and prods, but nothing too overt until today.

"Dude," Joey began. "You don't have a relationship with her. So just man up, then hit it and quit it. She's got a nice rack..."

Max waved his hand at him, "Shhhh... Please quiet down!"

The mouse girl walked past them quietly, her legs moving like an orchestra's crescendo. She was absolutely stunning. He had accidently bumped into her the last week (Joey had pushed him) and found out her name was Mish. She was quiet, unassuming, and her voice was soft, like a gentle caress. Joey watched her go, but his eyes carried a salacious edge to them. "Either you bang her or I'm going in. I'm all about giving a bro a chance, but you're just taking too long." There was a loud humph from besides them as another woman in the class, a vixen, walked past them with her head turned away from them. Max wished he could shrink into the floor and disappear.

"Joey, maybe you could...you know, not say stuff like that?" He asked as politely as he could, knowing it was useless. He had already asked three times. Each time, Joey would quiet down and stop being so crude for a few minutes before he went back to being himself again.

"Yeah, yeah, Max," he quieted. They still had some time before the class began and Max only hoped he could make it through that time without any serious incidents. He already had a bad feeling when the vixen placed her mat next to Mish, eyeing both of them. As Joey put it, Mish really did have a nice rack, but Max felt it wouldn't be fair to focus on her overly large bosom. For someone who had been 'given' so much on top, she still carried herself with a certain elegance that he couldn't help but admire. She had long brown hair that came just down past her shoulders and huge brown eyes that he liked to stare at when he was pretty certain she wouldn't notice. She only came up to his shoulders, but that only made her seem even more 'cute', except he knew cute wasn't the word that most girls wanted to hear. She always wore very large, loose sweatshirts and shorts to workout in, possibly to cover up her body. It was obvious that she wasn't trying to draw attention to herself, so Max really wanted to respect that. Nonetheless, he really wanted to run his fingers through her tan fur. She had this section of white fur around her face that only served to accent her beautiful eyes.

"Hey Max," Joey elbowed him. "We got ourselves a cockblock over there." He pointed blatantly at the vixen, who was obviously whispering in Mish's ear. They both glanced up at him at that exact moment, catching him in the action of pointing. Max looked downwards, turning bright red. Joey gave his knowing smirk and nodded at both of them before turning his pointing hand back into a curl in front of his chest, accenting his musculature. "See, Max? This is why you lift weights. Ladies can't resist a wolf that's ripped, hell yeah!" Max watched as even the other class attendees around them began to scoot away. He wished he could do the same, but it also felt a little wrong to abandon the guy who was helping him like that.

He was saved from further embarrassment by the instructor walking in. The class began and he quickly let himself get lost in the physical activities. He did glance over at Mish occasionally, but with Joey next to him, he felt worthless. The other wolf's body was chiseled, complete with six pack abs. He had a two pack, if that. If the mouse ever took notice of either wolf, he was certain she was looking at his friend. When the class ended, Max stood up and politely got some sanitizing wipes and began to pass them out to everyone. He liked helping like that. He noticed that Joey had foregone the mat wipe down in order to walk over to the vixen and Mish, so he grabbed an extra wipe and went to clean the other wolf's mat along with his own. As he scrubbed down the mats, Max mentally chided himself. He was a wolf and as far from Alpha as one could be and not called an Omega. She was a mouse and probably had a boyfriend already. He glanced up at her as she put her glasses back on and smiled at Joey. There was no chance there for someone who wasn't even willing to take a chance. He finished up and put the mats away. When he turned around, both the girls and Joey were gone. Only the few older folks who worked out remained and it took them longer to get moving. Rather than rush to see Joey putting the moves on anyone, Max stayed behind to help everyone finish cleaning up the room for the next class.

When all was done, he stepped out of the aerobics room and found a diminutive figure waiting for him, "Uh, hi...?" Max's heart fluttered when she spoke. "Your friend, he uh..." She glanced up at him, curiously, "He said you had something you wanted to show me?" She had this messy head of hair and the way her eyes fluttered behind her glasses and her cute pink nose and...

Max paused in his admiration of all her wonderful traits and did a double-take, "Uh, hey Mish. I'm really sorry, but my friend was... Well, he was mistaken."

"It was...hmmm...Max, right?" He nodded enthusiastically, not quite meeting her eyes, but also trying his best to not look like he was staring at her bust. "Then let me show you something, if you're okay with it?"

"Sure, Mish. I'm okay with..." One of her hands shot up to his chin, which was quite a feat in and of itself. She lifted his head so he was looking directly into her eyes.

"This is my face," she said pleasantly, but with a hint of humor to it. "I'm not sure if you've really seen it before, because you keep glancing away from it."

"I'm sorry," he managed to whisper out, though for just what, he wasn't sure.

She giggled, "Don't worry about it. Do you keep looking at me because you like me...? Or because of..." She waved at her chest region. Max gulped audibly.

He knew what he wanted to say to her. He knew that her body was like a work of Botticelli, majestic and awe-inspiring. He wanted to tell her that she had the most beautiful smile. Instead, he managed to get out, "I think you're pretty."

"Oh my... Thank you. That's very sweet of you. And you seem really nice too." Her words tied a weight to his heart and pulled it downwards. This was the real 'why'. He hadn't wanted to talk to her because he knew what 'nice' guys got. Nothing but a smile and a wave. At least without talking to her, he had a hope still. She slowly put her hands behind her back and rocked a little bit, "So...I may...sorta...think you're cute. Oh, wait, that's the wrong word. Guys don't like being called cute..." She paused, her eyes searching the ground for a moment, "Handsome! You're handsome."

"Thank you," he managed to get out, his heart quickly ascending from the depths. There were a series of heartbeats where nothing was said. "Um. Where do we go from here, Mish?"

She blushed, "I'm not really sure. I'm not very good at this sort of thing either." Max wondered how the mouse didn't hear his heart beating in his chest. She was even more beautiful when she blushed. They stood there awkwardly for a good minute, both wanting to say something, but neither getting quite there.

The moment was ruined by a loud voice, "Max, you gonna get lucky tonight or not?" Joey strode into the hallway, his shorts at an awkward angle and his shirt sweatier than it had been when he had left the class. "Oh, my bad. Seal the deal or let her go, man. I gotta tell you all about that vixen and her fine ass!"

Mish looked at the newcomer and then back at Max. "Was...was that what this is," she asked, her voice conveying her confusion. "Why would he...you weren't..."

Max shook his head, "N...No! I swear, that's not what this is!"

Joey just chuckled, "Oh, Max, man, she's not worth it." He threw an arm around the other wolf and held out a hand in front of him to show a shorter height, "She might be good for the head, but I doubt her curves are as good as we think." Mish blinked, obviously thrown-off by the events that had turned from good to bad so quickly. Her mouth opened and closed once, but Joey spoke before she or Max could formulate a decent thought, "Besides...if you're going for some fake tits and a tiny body like that, you want a girl with a nice ass. Not that lumpy mess she's rocking back there."

"I. See." Each word was its own sentence, punctuated with a sharp edge. Her hands had fallen to her sides and they were clenched. "Please excuse me, I must be going," Mish shoved her way quickly past the two of them. Max watched as tears threatened to fall onto her pristine white fur, but she held them back. He admired her for that. Oddly enough, he felt she didn't seem so short when she moved past.

Then the moment passed and he pushed himself away from Joey. Unable to find the right words, Max shot Joey the angriest look he could. "What," the other wolf asked, shrugging. "She's a water works kind. You lingered for too long when you should've just gotten in there."

"Just shut up, Joey!" He began to run after Mish when the other wolf grabbed his arm. "Let me go!"

"I'm doing you a favor, Max. Let her go. If she wants it, she'll be back for you. If she doesn't, she ain't gonna give it anymore."

While Max was mostly a calm and quiet wolf, in that moment his primal anger came boiling out of him. He shoved the bigger wolf against the wall, "You're doing me a favor!? You don't know what I want and you don't speak for me. While I appreciate what you've done for me up till now, I think we're done here. I've learned all that I ever want to learn from you." With that, he ran after the mouse as quickly as he could without looking back. When he hit the main gym floor, he saw the mouse shove open the main doors leading out. It might have been his angle, but he could have sworn her head came almost to the top of the doors. As he walked after her, he saw every eye in the gym swivel from watching Mish's exit to him. He slowed down and his tail drooped before he gathered his resolve and jogged out after her. It didn't matter what anyone would think of him.

Outside, the air was cold and crisp, a start contrast from the warm air inside the gym. His lungs burned at the deep breaths of cold air, but he didn't let that slow him down. He glanced around the parking lot, but he didn't see the mouse anywhere. He also didn't see any cars peeling out of the parking lot either. Before he could run out onto the asphalt, he heard a throat clear from behind him. Max glanced back and saw an extremely tall female figure resting against the side of the building itself. "Sorry miss, but I'm in a rush and I'm trying to find someone."

"You found her," a familiar voice answered from a very unfamiliar body.

Max slowly turned and looked back at the tall figure once again, quickly recognizing those eyes now peering down at him. "Mish...?"

"Hey," came the same nervous and uncertain voice that he knew. Before, Mish's head had come up to his shoulders, but now his head barely came up to her waist. "Look, I'm not looking for a one-night stand or anything..."

"Neither am I," he quickly protested, still slightly in awe of her newfound size. Her sweatshirt, which had been loose and baggy before was now a shirt that didn't even cover her waist all the way. While Max may have dwelt on the way her tight clothing showed all of her curves, proving them as provocative as his mind had imagined, he only skimmed over that. His mind focused on the way she crossed her arms and bit her lip, her legs slightly bent. Even large, she still carried herself with a nervous air that was just adorable.

"Why should I believe you," she asked him quietly.

"I...I don't know," Max admitted in return, equally uncertain. "I'm so sorry for what that other wolf said. He was trying to get me to live his life, not mine. And I don't want what he has. All I want is a chance."

"A chance for what?"

"To prove that I'm real. To show you that I care. I'm begging you on bended knee." He quickly got down on his knee, which protested as soon as he began to get down on it. It was proving to be more sore than he had expected from his workout sessions.

The mouse shook her head, "Oh goodness, stop that. Get up."

"Not until you agree to go out on a date with me."

"A date?"

"I like you Mish. I think I do anyways. I don't have any right to say love, because...well, I don't know anything about you. But I like what I've seen. And...um...that's...well...that's all I've got so far." He found his courage drying up quicker than water going down the shower drain.

Mish gave a small chuckle, "I'll agree to the date if you get off your knee. You're embarrassing me."

"Okay, now I'm about to embarrass myself, but can you help me get up? We did legs yesterday and I'm sorta stuck." The small chuckle from the mouse became a full laugh and she reached down to pull him up against her body into a hug.

Max waited a moment before he spoke, "Not to ruin this moment, Mish...but how is you're suddenly so big when you were shorter than me not an hour ago?"

"Uh," she managed to get out, letting go of the hug. Her cheeks were turning red, "About that...see...I have this thing where I grow. Like, a lot sometimes. It can happen at moments of extreme emotional stress or...pleasure. Or um...other times. And this is kind of mild. I can get a lot bigger." She looked at him with a bit of awkwardness, "Is this too much? Most guys don't like taller girls..."

Max laughed, "Not at all. I don't mind. But...there is one small thing I might ask you to do if you wouldn't mind?"

When Joey finally left for the day, he had already convinced himself that Max was a pussy and no longer worthy of his attention. Plus, he had gotten laid at the gym, making him the dominant male. He stepped out into the parking lot and looked around for his baby, a big red Dodge Ram. His face fell when he saw it wasn't where he had parked it. "My baby...?"

On top of the gym, his truck sat, in perfect shape and unharmed. Just slightly moved out of the way.
