The first was conceived as a one-shot, without any continuation. But my mind just didn't like to leave things like that, and inspiration seized me...pretty strongly at that, because I started writing this and when I finished it was five in the morning. This is why I tell people that a continuation is always possible, even if I don't plan it - sometimes it happens without a plan.

So here we have a part 2 to Acclimatized, a part which I feel turns out much brighter than the previous one. It's about twice as long, and also more atmospheric, less graphic. Wouldn't be right otherwise, I had to keep in tone.

OBLIGATORY CONTENT WARNING: This story contains sexual acts between multiple males, some descriptions of rough treatment both sexual and non, unrealistic stamina, allusions to depression, and hopefully a sense of proper resolution.

From freedom to a cage. What a fate.

Charmander paced and growled impatiently in his iron prison. The bars would easily have melted to his flames, were they not cut off by the accursed collar latched around his neck, suppressing his power and leaving the only fire burning in his gut. It wasn't his intention to let his imprisonment get to him, but to be so constrained, and to be subjected to such unpleasantries, made it very difficult to tolerate. And at the indirect hands of a human, no less, the kind he had such animosity for. It felt demeaning, insulting...even though in some ways it was less harsh that what Gabite subjected him to, the human didn't deserve to be above him.

His capture was still firmly etched into his mind. Though he knew he had vulnerabilities, he had come to see Gabite is essentially invincible, untouchable by any creature that dared stand against him. Then a particular human arrived, commanding Pokémon to overpower them and weaken them for capture...never had Charmander seen Gabite so utterly overpowered, his master taken out by a strange four-legged pinkish creature with what looked like ribbons and a black weasel that hit him with such speed that he could scarcely keep up. He himself was rapidly felled at the hands of a Rhydon, enduring several heavy blows that left him immobilized and easily captured. Thus the two had been ripped from their home and imprisoned somewhere entirely unfamiliar, their abilities suppressed with strange devices, caged up and kept under constant watch.

He hadn't seen Gabite since they had arrived; he was being kept in an entirely different area of wherever they were, and not even the slightest sign of him was available to Charmander. This was the worst part of everything, and Charmander swore he would remain strong, that he wouldn't disappoint Gabite and when they escaped, Gabite wouldn't look upon him with disdain. The trainer rarely made appearances either, only briefly checking in on him every several days; Charmander could do nothing to him but give him venomous looks, and the trainer never attempted to get close.

But he was far from unwatched...numerous Pokémon were in the room where he was kept caged, watching to ensure his continued captivity. The Rhydon that had bested him was frequently present, as were a number of Pokémon he wasn't familiar with...but the most irritating was the Raichu, the arrogant orange mouse that was the one who most frequently talked to him. And it wasn't idle chitchat...no, Raichu was the source of most of his abuse, both physical and verbal. It was all too easy for him to send bolts of electricity into the cage, the metal easily conducting it into his body and driving pain through him, pain of a sort he wasn't familiar with. Sometimes he would paralyze Charmander for no apparent reason, providing no pain but keeping him immobile and frustrated. His words were no better, tearing him down and taunting him, doing all they could to make him feel unpleasant.

It was from Raichu that he learned that they had been captured as a last resort, that they were determined to pose a danger to trainers and couldn't be allowed to remain where they were and as they were. The next step was supposedly hunters, men with guns and armor that would riddle them with bullets and end their lives without fanfare. Raichu told them that was still a possible destiny for them, if they couldn't be fixed. Not that Charmander accepted that there was anything wrong with him, or with Gabite...this was simply another example of the abuses of the human world, and he would rather die than submit.

Or so he told them. Privately, however, the fear of death still lingered...the same fear that had driven him to adapt to Gabite, lest he kill Charmander and be done with it. He never showed it, but the thought of the guns tearing into him were on his mind, buried deep but still thorny and unpleasant.

Despite Raichu's shenanigans, he wasn't poorly kept. Food was provided to him, not much but enough to sustain him. And he was given periods of release from the cage, allowed into an open-air zone that was still enclosed by some invisible mechanism, ensuring his continued captivity. Still, it was a chance to stretch his legs and work out his frustrations, and though he couldn't use his flames he still worked his body, ensuring that he kept in shape for whenever the opportunity for escape would arise.

Yet, he was already learning that such a prospect would be daunting, to say the least. Other Pokémon were also occasionally present in the open zone while he was out, paying him little mind as he returned the favor. But the first time he saw the Treecko, he felt an urge to try to make an impression on him, and the others, to show that he wasn't weak and that he would pose a threat if he ever had a moment of freedom to do so. It was with that in mind that he had approached the Treecko and tried to throw a slash.

It was all of three seconds before he was flat on his back, leveled by a series of lightning-quick blows from Treecko. Two punches to the gut, a sweep of his legs and a knee to the jaw were all that it took to put him down, and the grass lizard simply wandered off without a word, leaving him to stew. To be so rapidly beaten by a Pokémon of a vulnerable type...he tried to tell himself it was the collar holding him back, which he knew to be at least partly true, it took some of his strength as well as his flames, but the loss still stung. And it was that loss that laid the seeds of doubt in him, the wondering about whether he could really do what he needed to do. He still held firm for Gabite...but if he was weak, Gabite would have every right to escape himself, and leave him here.

As the days passed, he started to accept a truth that was staring him in the face but he had tried his best not to see: the Pokémon guarding him were of an exceptional caliber, and not to be trifled with. He would not beat them by force.

That thought, as well as the torment offered by Raichu, was starting to really get to him. Doubt and despair were creeping in, and he was starting to wonder if it was worth dreaming of escape, if he was going to spend the rest of his days caged up and under constant watch. Or perhaps they were just waiting to throw him to the guns. He didn't want death, he didn't want captivity, he wanted his freedom and his strength...but perhaps these were just illusions, and he wondered whether it would be better to cast them away, relinquish hope and accept his condemnation.

Then something else began to happen, about the last thing he could have suspected. He was out in the open zone, lackluster effort put into working himself, not feeling like it would amount to anything, when Treecko approached again. Charmander didn't bother trying to fight him, not after the last time had ended so badly, so he just turned to face him, still trying to put up a defiant air. He hadn't expected Treecko to come up and start caressing his body, rubbing all over his chest and torso, even his groin.

The shock at the sudden and unexpected action kept him from acting to resist in any way, allowing the grass lizard to do as he pleased with him. And it was clear he pleased to do quite a bit, drawing his cock to full erection with deft strokes, even a lick or two, pleasure burgeoning in Charmander against his better judgment. But what really took things to a new realm was when Treecko laid back and spread his legs, offering himself to Charmander without reservation.

It wasn't really a conscious judgment, but more of an automatic response. Before he knew it, he had engaged Treecko on the ground, his hot lizard dick buried inside the Grass-type's tailhole. Treecko clung to him, meaning loudly in pure pleasure...a sound he'd never heard before, not from himself nor from Gabite, and it was a mental rush to know he was the one creating it. And Treecko, he could stop it any time, but was letting him do this...he wasn't practiced, and his thrusting was wild and unsteady, a male in a frenzy, barely clinging to control of himself.

But he clung to a bit...he found he wanted to make it last, just a bit, not give up this one moment of pleasure so readily, the one bright spot in a sea of darkness that had been his life lately. So though he went hard and fast, he did something Gabite had never done, and staved off his orgasm, letting the pleasure mount more and more as the seconds ticked on, reveling not just in the physical sensations but the sounds of the lizard below him.

They came nearly together, when Charmander could hold off no more and plunged in fully, spraying his hot seed into another body for the first time. the pulses were what set off Treecko, who cried out ecstatically as his own seed spurted onto his and Charmander's bodies, hissing when they made contact with the Fire-type's scales. It was a lustrous high that coursed through Charmander's body and mind, one he desired more of immediately, and as he felt it fading away he could see that Treecko was more than eager for more himself.

They mated over and over, hardly changing things up in their wild frenzy, focusing on nothing but the pure raw fucking and the pleasure it brought them, a second, third, fourth time...Charmander finally gave out after the fifth, and fell onto Treecko, who didn't seem bothered in the slightest. He rubbed his hands along Charmander's body, the heat from the exertion radiating off of it, telling him how much he enjoyed it and how much he hoped they could do it again soon. The care in his voice...even through his exhaustion, Charmander yearned for it, it was a sweetness and desire even stronger than the sex, it drew him like a magnet, it was something to finally pin himself to, something to finally help steady him in his rocky emotional state.

They had to part eventually, for Charmander to return to his cage, but already he was pinning his hopes on there being a next time. Lost in his thoughts, he hadn't even noticed that he'd been out of his cage longer than usual.

But Treecko wasn't the only one.

Not long after he started coupling with the grass lizard, Charmander found himself under Raichu's control, the mouse using his strength and electricity to make sure he had the upper hand. And what an upper hand it was...Raichu moved as quickly as his typing would suggest, and his thrusts were tinged with the sparks of his body, providing an unprecedented sensation in his ass as he was taken. Not nearly the size of Gabite, the sparks were more than a worthy competitor in pleasure...and then that tail, wrapping around his shaft, pumping it and jolting it lightly in time, a mind blowing feeling that he never could have experienced before, causing him to blow again and again.

Even the mouse's words were much less harsh during this time...praising him for his strength and potential, telling him he wouldn't have considered doing this if the Charmander hadn't been so strong and desirable, as effectively buttering him up as he'd abraded him away before. He drank it in desperately, each little bit of praise lighting up his pleasure centers as much as those jolts of electricity in his ass and on his cock, accepting them into him as readily as the charged seed that lanced into his bowels. Despite all that Raichu had done to him before, he found himself wanting more from him, to feel the same warmth over and over again.

And then there was Rhydon. Though Charmander noticed little interest from him before, the rocky hulk of a Pokémon caught him once in the open zone. It had taken little more than a few choice words about his seeming strength and ability to handle anything before Charmander had agreed to let him do what he could...and Rhydon had taken full advantage. How he had managed to embed that whole piece into Charmander the lizard couldn't fathom, nor did he care to; all he knew was that the sensitivity of his body to that tool was drastically greater than even with Gabite's, and he was crying out loud as it drilled into him, shaped in such a way as to almost feel like a literal drill, grooves causing every bit to rapidly pulse against his chamber.

It was an experience like no other, and Charmander had only his will to meet the rhino's expectations to stay alert through the whole thing. Every orgasm was forced out of him, his body drained extensively, far more than with Gabite, so that he was coming dry by the end, his body rocked as Rhydon bloated him with gritty, grainy jizz, leaving him exhausted beyond belief but satisfied, and even a little happy, happy to have pleased Rhydon and shown what he could take.

His dalliances with the three Pokémon continued; after recovering from one session, he was always looking forward to the next, eager to begin whether he was giving it to Treecko or taking it from Raichu or Rhydon. Sometimes there was a mix, such as when Raichu paralyzed him and left him for Rhydon to use, or when the sneaky mouse used his tail to lash Charmander and Treecko together and he got to experience both ends at once. It was pleasure on a different scale, one he wanted rather than simply experienced, and it was aided along by the wonderful words from the other Pokémon, giving him more than just the body to think on.

Slowly, but surely, things were changing. He was out of his cage more, given more time among other Pokémon, and he was warming up to them. His food portions increased, and became more enjoyable in their own right, tastier and more fulfilling. His rage at his situation was fading fast, and he was starting to see things as better than before...he was starting to realize that this wasn't all that bad. He had endured a harsh trial but he was feeling the rewards for it, something that had been missing from his life before. And the trainer...in the brief periods that Charmander saw him, he was much warmer to him, even allowing him to pet him. He had had negative thoughts about being trained before, but it was hard to deny that the Pokémon under his tutelage were impressive in every way...surely, he must have worked them hard and well to get them that way, and perhaps Charmander could become even stronger if he was to remain.

Just as before, he was adjusting, taking on a new role. And this time there was a lot to say for it.

One day the trainer came in, and Charmander could see trouble in his eyes. His apprehension was set off, and he was worried beyond belief; was he going to lose what he had again? He didn't know if he could bear that.

But the trainer instead asked about Gabite. What Charmander thought of him. How he felt about him. It was a confusing flood of emotions for Charmander...the harsh treatment he had been subjected to under the dragon, he knew now could never compare to the warmth and closeness he had here. At the same time, despite it all, he cared for the dragon, he knew that Gabite had made him better in some ways, and even though he had been used, he didn't think Gabite was bad. This he relayed to the trainer, wandering warily where it was leading.

Then the trainer revealed his purpose. He wanted to take on both Charmander and Gabite. Whereas others saw danger, he saw strength, and he knew there was much farther the two of them could go. But in order to do so, they would have to be shown not to be a threat to people...the rough treatment Charmander had gone through before had been to soften the barriers, allowing the other Pokémon to get through to him at his core and build him back up again. It hadn't been something he enjoyed, he didn't want his Pokémon to simply be servile to him, he wanted them to be themselves, but a certain amount of molding was needed to ensure they could stay alive.

But the trainer was worried. Where Charmander had taken well, adjusting to the circumstances and becoming more welcoming, Gabite seemed simply to be breaking. And the time of judgment was approaching...if he couldn't show that Gabite was brought around, the dragon would be terminated. Charmander was the only one who Gabite had any real connection to, and the trainer knew it...if Charmander was willing, and wasn't repulsed by the dragon, perhaps he could be the spark that saved him.

Charmander nodded. He wanted to try...Gabite meant a lot to him, and if he had the chance to save him, he needed to take it. The trainer nodded, and asked him to hold still. Confused, Charmander obliged, and he felt the trainer's hands feeling around his neck, then heard a click...and suddenly the collar was off.

He felt a warmth return to his body, the strength that had been missing from him...his flames were back, and felt no less mighty than before. And he realized how much trust the trainer was putting in him, to do this at such a key juncture...something new and unfamiliar was rising within him. Pride...a sense of accomplishment, of achievement, of victory. He had thought that would happen when he overcame the trainer...but instead it was at becoming one with him. He had gained more than happiness, he'd gained a reason to believe in himself, something he had never had before, before it had just been hoping he hadn't done wrong, now he had joy in doing right.

As he was brought in to the dragon's room, he wandered if Gabite could feel the same way.

Gabite was out of his cage, but the room was heavily reinforced, with several Pokémon at the ready to contain the dragon. They all gave him a berth, knowing full well to give Charmander room to do as he could. It was a shock to see him; he was emaciated, and Charmander could see untouched food piled up nearby. His eyes were blank, almost lifeless, almost like he had given up already...he hoped it wasn't too late.

He knew what had brought him out of the brink...a reason to feel good, a reason to hope, to keep moving on. He had to offer that to Gabite...that was the only idea he could come up with. And he knew what he wanted to do...it was just a matter of whether he could do it, and whether it would bring the dragon back.

Gabite didn't move as he approached; the eyes were tracking him, but they didn't appear to really be affected by his presence. He brought himself close to Gabite, rubbing up against the dragon's rough surface...uncertainly, he gave a slight lick to the chest. When it didn't feel painful or unpleasant, he was encouraged, giving more along the chest as he rubbed a hand along that familiar slit.

He could hear slight responses from Gabite...confusion, uncertainty, all very weak, still caught up it the vacuum, but he had to go on it. He brought his tongue down to the slit, licking at it to encourage more response, not at all bothered by the gritty sensation of the dragon's slit fluids. Soon that pole made its appearance, familiar yet never experienced this way before...after Rhydon, it wasn't quite as intimidating, but still considerable. Yet Charmander showed no signs of hesitation, continuing to use his tongue to run all over it, trying to get a rise out of Gabite, to bring back some of the familiar fire.

He couldn't really tell if it was working, although he was getting some definite physical response from the dragon, a bit of heavier breathing along with the same quiet sounds from before. He decided to move on to the big part now, hoping that a bit more impact would have better effect. With some awkwardness, he clambered up onto the dragon so that his rear was touching the tip of the spiked cock, and roughly sank himself down on it.

Now there was some real response, as Gabite's eyes went wide from the sensation of being enveloped in that hot hole again. He was still rigid, though, and Charmander knew he was going to have to be in charge. Rising and falling, he did his best to set a strict pace, not matching Gabite at his best but giving a fair bit. His voice was the key, though...he was loud and vocal with his moans, showing off the pleasure he was getting from Gabite, softly telling him how much he meant to him. Every sound was true, he just hoped Gabite could hear the sincerity.

Minute after minute, he kept this up, going steady and never wavering, but not letting it end too early. He could feel the dragon tense up once, as if ready, and slowed himself down, keeping the round from climaxing prematurely; he wanted Gabite not to just feel like to was coming and going. It would have to finish sometime, but he drew it out as long as possible, giving him the maximum amount of time to build up the dragon.

And then he felt it, those finned arms wrapping around his back, and the deep, resonant moan, quiet but distinct, as Gabite finally showed signs of life. Charmander continued his encouragement as he sped up, lavishing his praise as he brought the encounter to a close. Tensing up as he rose and dropped faster, he felt his own dam bursting, painting Gabite's chest with his seed, and riding out the wonderful high as he felt the cock inside him erupt soon after, shooting a veritable flood from those pent-up orbs hidden within him.

All of a sudden it was like a dam burst, the dragon suddenly holding tight around him, sobbing wildly, begging for forgiveness. It had all been too much for him, even the less vicious treatment dealt on him than he'd done to the Charmander proving too much for his constitution, the realization of what he had done and how he had acted tying in with his own pitiful weakness for adversity...he had all but resigned himself to death, certain that he had wrecked another life even more badly than his own.

As Charmander held close to him, breathing out his forgiveness to the dragon and caressing him gently, he felt relief and joy wash over him, and knew that Gabite would be all right. And he knew he would be too...in a roundabout way, he had truly learned what strength and freedom meant, and he knew he would value them more than ever from now on. The trials ahead would be nothing like the ones already faced...without question, he knew he could handle them, with those he felt close to, those he cared about, their spirits urging him onward.
