The new year was celebrated by nearly everyone on the planet, from the cities, suburbs, even the islands to the west, where the water side of the planet. Although a curfew was in effect for everyone, certain stores were allowed to be open for special new year deals, once granted permission of course. The new year also meant the revealing of new brand names early for the public, some such that being able to arrive at the midnight launch was worth camping out for. A certain fluffy individual had been waiting for a few hours herself, bringing quite a few junk food and snacks for the wait.

"Mmm..I'm the only one here. better for me! But..it's already 12:30...what's taking them so long? The lights are on!" she muttered to herself, that 5'4" juicy bundle of fur wagging her tail in annoyance, being nearly as thick as her lovely wide hips at the base with a dark brown tip. Her sienna brown fur was appealing to the eye, though not as much as that bosom, which was ample and barely held back by her black top. The blue floppy with a small red x in the middle of it was her unique tattoo, being a symbol of her trade and just a personal thing she found cute. Her fishnet tights and sleeves under her jacket were also a personal favorite, being a major fashion buff in unique and non standard fashion. The black gloved fingers ran over her left ear, having long ears with fuzzy undersides, going past her shoulders, which were a major trait in her species, a fennec fox. A small tuff of purple hair covered her head, being brushed to lean towards the left, her brown eyes just trying not the look at her watch since it made time go slower. Her treasure was a little stuffed bear hanging at her hips, clipped tightly and rarely if ever not close to her.

Once her watch hit 2 am, she considered hacking the door herself to open it, but to her surprise, and the store's luck, it finally opened up. Disco Wares was a small brick and mortar store, with two floors, but it was famous for not only it's inventory of fashion by those starting out and those famous lines, but also computer and audio related goods were it's major selling points. The owner himself was but a large imposing croc, a father of many but now living solo after the passing of his wife and his kids moving forward, "Hmm?...small turnabout this year I reckon. Oh yer...Oh! Tammy. Glad ya made it youngin." greeted the 9 foot tall croc to one of his best customers. Though he was a bit confused as to why she seemed pouty rather than happy. As it was his own store, he dressed in a less formal attire, wearing worn-out blue jeans and a white tanktop with a big black "D" on right in the middle.

"Disco! Why did you open so late! Its 2 am! New years ended like two hours ago--huh?" she began to huff, before seeing fireworks fly into the air. It was weird that they would do that 2 hours late, but it suddenly struck her, "2 hours...oh wait, aren't you from East Village? That's a long way from here...2 hour time difference isn't it?" asked the croc, seeing her blush somewhat in embarassement, and wrap her arms around her chest. It sucked that she forgot to adjust for that time before arriving, but no one is perfect. Considering she arrived by teleportation, she probably should've took the time to factor in time zone differences. Quickly her annoyance turned to awe as she ran through the doors and into the store, first thing on her mind was the new parts she wanted to get her hands on. Normally she'd go through the slightly improper channels to get her goods, but Disco was someone who knew how to get things early, and it was less risky to deal with and purchase in general.

The latest fashion on goth and other various brands caught her eye, taking her time on trying out each one. Despite no one else would probably enter the store, she kept to herself in the changing rooms upstairs. The latest in breathable fishnets, dye for her tuff of hair, hell, the newest SSDs and processors were making her fur stand on end. She couldn't keep herself from squealing every now and then upon seeing what the market had for the new year. Of course there were a few stinkers and stuff that were overpriced for what they had to offer, she already had a full basket of clothes and computer parts to buy. An hour passed rather fast, considering about what possible cute design on a pair undies and bra that she could wear, not that anyone would bother seeing them. She was too shy for something like that, but a pink pair with black skulls caught her eye, and just the right size for a girl of her juiciness.

As she began to try them on, she realized that she left the basket with the panties she wanted to try on outside. She was already naked so she merely reached out toward it, before feeling it suddenly being given to her, "I think you need this Tammy. Good choice also." said a masculine voice, her ears quickly tensing up and standing up as she didn't even hear anyone either. In embarassment, she covered her chest and nearly screamed in surprise, "Aaaack! W-who is that!?" she asked while quivering a bit, hearing whoever was out there chuckling. It seemed that he wasn't planning on coming inside, so she took that moment to quickly get dressed and peek her head out.

"Oh you're dressed?", he asked, her eyes suddenly brightening in awe as she realized that one of the most influential people on the planet had actually arrived. Immediately she jumped out and shook his head, that dark colored skin, those glasses, and that labcoat were all pointing to his identity, but the water molecule on his shirt was double proof, as it was the symbol of his company, "Oooooh! ooooh! It's you! Abu! HOLY snap, what are you doing here?! Don't tell me you're here to shop for stuff? You make most of the things here! OMGOSHICANTBELIEVEYOUREHERE, THISISTHEBESTNEWYEARSEVER--"

He adjusted his classes and smirked, happy to see that his reputation proceeds him, but his time was limited, "Yup, it's me. Abu Bryant. You're "Tammy 1". I've been waiting to meet you." he spoke, making her face grow red with a deep blush, as he grabbed her hand and gave it the top part a light kiss, "You're the clever minx who hacked the Vanaxxis Castle Camera system, and even my company's shipping records...which is saying something since I myself wrote the security system." he added, making her pull her hand away and place them on her cheeks since she got complimentented. She was quite a skilled hacker, doing the latter things for her own personal reasons, "W-well...I had to know when the new P.I.C. would be released...and where."

It made sense she would want the newest version, considering it had a better processor and other things that made it worth the 500000 kash price. Her side job netted her a tidy sum of money, which quickly went down the drain due to her shopping habits. Abu smirked and leaned in forward, looking down at her while she blushed hard, looking up and seeing that his silver eyes were piercing through her being, "Ah...you are quite the tech buff as I thought. Though as you guested, I didn't happen to just be here, I came to see you." he remarked while moving in a bit more, letting her generous bosom press against his lower chest and make her gasp lightly. She had quite a sensitive chest, though she wasn't really the type of person to go out and meet people for that sort of thing. Like most hackers, her social life was non-existant aside from some close friends, though that didn't stop her from using the wonders of the internet for personal fun.

Upon feeling that firm male chest, she stepped back a bit while biting her lower lip, rather shy on her body though her deep blush was making it quite obvious how she was feeling, "T-thats...it's my life. But you're the one who put hackers to shame with your tough teaching programs...though you haven't updated it in quite some time. I heard you went to hiding after Vanaxxis, and are currently working for Black Dagger...is that true?" she asked curiously, not expecting to get another moment like this with the most influential man on the planet. The scientist merely smirked, reaching out and squeezing her bosom from both sides, pressing them together and making her moan with delight, though low in volume. Tammy forced herself to keep quiet, knowing that Disco was downstairs, her legs starting to tremble and the arousal starting to set in. That suave tone and teasing hands usually worked on getting things in his favor, though he had a fondness for the young prodigy and thought she was quite attractive.

To be teased by her idol was something she had fantasized a few times, hoping that this wasn't a dream while she grinded her thighs together feeling him use those hands to grope and molest those large marshmellowy pillows, "Mmm...your intel is spot on. Though I've hit a snag...and am now realizing that I'm out of practice on the hacking scene. I would like to request your assistance with those...skills you possess. You're the best around you know...though you will not go unrewarded. I promise.." he complimented, whispering that last part and moving back a bit to move those hands to give her pert nipples a lovely pinch, making her gasp once again and collapse onto her knees, finding it too much to resist that human's teasing.

Tammy was more sensitive than he thought, rarely getting such a reaction from mere breast foreplay. Although he'd love to do more, and the possible addition to the croc downstairs was a kinky thought, he didn't have time unfortunately. He offered a hand to help her up, seeing her legs quivering and now doing what he can to not make her melt even more, "If you need time to think about it, we could talk it over in...private if you wish?...Oh also I'll give you small bit of what to expect if you help." promised Abu, seeing her look away in embarassement, but then back up at him as he reached into his pocket and pulled out what seemed to be a credit card. The blue plastic had his company logo on it, handing it to her and smirking, "700K in there to spend at your leisure. I promise bigger rewards if you chose to help. And other more...fun rewards too." he added at the end, winking at her though seeing that she may collapse again from her heart stopping and her tail was wagging out of control.

With that, Abu took his leave and gave her hand a kiss, being the gentleman that he was and turned around to walk out, "I'll leave you to your shopping. I need to prepare for the smash clash...but call me if you need anything." he said while waving at her, seeing that she was speechless and nodding slowly. As he went downstairs, she realized that she had no way to call him, not having gotten his number, "W-wait!" she shouted, starting to run forward before feeling something odd between her breasts. She glanced down and saw a piece of paper wedged in, giving a confused "huh?" while she reached in and saw that Abu had snuck it in. It not only had his P.I.C. number, but it had his signature written in a very refined manner. Her claws clenched the paper and she gave a happy whimper as she fell to the ground once more, feeling quite heated and happy as this was the best new years ever.

Abu walked out and bid the croc a good bye, being good friends with him and part of the reason why he was so well stocked. As he exited to the cold dark night, the wind blowing past his labcoat and shivering a bit, "Hmm...Tammy has some good fur. She wasn't bothered much by it...anyway I gotta get back. I'm horny and buzzed after all that...shouldn't have drank all those screwdrivers at the party.." he muttered to himself, rubbing his head and preparing to leave before getting a firm blow from behind. It was enough to knock him out, not having noticed that someone was watching him.

The new year had started and already the bets were starting on the tournament in May. Michael's team was given little hope on winning, as N.D. had expected. Though with so much time until the betting is closed, and the start of the Tournament, there was still work to be done. Sangre had started the first phase of N.D.'s plan and kidnapped a rather important individual, though the plan had required the services of a third party. No one in his group had the power necessary, so they looked for the best in the business in the area of spirtual control and corpse manipulation "..So Sangre. When again are you gonna pay up? You got that gay thing a week ago. Why haven't you done a thing yet?" asked a female voice coming from a P.I.C. call, her tone sounded rather annoyed.

The face of what seemed to be a black scaled dragoness spoke, with black scales and purple feathers as her hair. They glowed with an errie aura of light. Her face was dragonic, but more lizard like than your average dragon, "Well now, relax Beatrix. You're a nobody...I said we'll tell you when we're ready." replied with sarcastic remark, working on something in a rather dark area. She huffed at the remark, knowing that she wasn't well known quite yet, but in the proper circles, she was considered a genius and someone in her own league. Though to the ones who supposedly ruled this planet, she was a nobody, and not getting the respect she deserved usually ended badly for those in her way. She glared at him for a moment, before wrapping her arms around her chest, "Well...I don't see why I'm waiting. I could just take my services elsewhere." she said while flicking a feather, Sangre chuckling as it was cute that she tried a small threat.

"You could, then you wouldn't get what you wanted. And then we'd have to kill you. So make like a good woman and stay down until you're needed." he insulted with a rather smug smirk, that kind of talk making her clench her fist, though she knew working for him at the moment that it was beneficial for her. More than it was for him anyway, though she found them to be foolish and less useful than even the lowest form of undead corpse. The line was cut and she got to thinking on what would go first in her big plan. She knew that having the most powerful person on the planet on her ass was not what she needed now, but the army she would soon have would be very benefiticial for her. Soon the world will know the powerful "Death Witch" Beatrix, and they will be clenched under her heel. Though before she could do that, she needed everything necessary, which was disappointing since she was just starting out and she lacked even a minion to woreship her sexiness and authority. After this job it would be her first priority to get a male or female who will pledge their undying allegence to her. Maybe another dragon she thought, someone with the proper amount of stamina and endurance to handle her rough methods of ruling and putting those in their place.

Strength is everything. I once heard from my "father", the one truth of the world. "Power dominates All." Eurasia will need every advantage he could get...I only hope...that my old friend delivered the package...

A week had passed since the new years party, everything looking bright for the dragoon since the dragons came back into his life. But since that day, they had been training rigorously, preparing for that day in May, when the tournament for Abyssion's fate would be held. Ruru fought against Shyranrya, the two trading blows and punches while Rizan and Eura practiced hand to hand combat, something that Eura was lacking still. The fight with Dullock showed that the dark lizard was still incredibly formidable even without a weapon. It was a good thing that the dragoon of wind had that training room installed, but even more so that he installed a partition that could be raised and divide the room into two, giving people their space if anyone had to train separately.

Eura was constantly distracted by the loud banging coming from the otherside of the metal wall, dressed in blue jean shorts and a white t-shirt that was torn at the edges. Rizan herself was in purple yoga pants and having her upper half tied with bandages, tough bandages that were able to withstand the punishment in a fight. Michael charged at her once more, a fire covered fist going right at her face, before being stopped by her hand. The look of shock turned to one of pain as she used his own momentum to counter and bring the human down on the ground. That impact caused a small shock wave, knocking the air out of Michael and making him cough. Although she was worried on hurting him, she couldn't afford to hold back.

Strength is gotten through hard work, sweat and tears, the kind she went through during the 50 year absence of her dragoon, and more so after the fight with Shyranrya, "Sweety, you need to not make your attack so obvious. That strength will be used against you." she explained, seeing her human pant and gasp, before sitting up and looking up at her. He was always the straight forward type of guy, only getting creative when the time called for it, "It's...it's not easy. We weren't taught indepth hand to hand combat...it was an optional class. Boris did it though because he was curious...I wonder how he's doing with Shyranrya." he replied, being helped up by the red dragoness, also wondering how her friend was doing. There was more activity coming from their side, and since they had been at it since 11 am, a break probably wasn't a bad idea.

"Take 5 Eura. Let's see how those two are doing." suggested Rizan, the walls and such not even dented from their fights, but lightly charred from the fire he was dishing out. There was a door in the middle of the partition to allow movement between the two rooms, Rizan walking over first and opening the door. To their surprise, Ruru was on the ground on one knee, while Shyranrya seemed to be in much better shape, though her bright red training shorts and top were cut in several places, while her long white hair was tied up higher than usual, "Man, that defense. Wind really can't do crap against it."

"Dude, you're having that much trouble?" asked Michael, the two realizing that their fight now had an audience. Shyranrya cracked her neck and walked over to the green haired human, offering a hand, which he took, though grabbing a finger since she was so tall. The black dragoness sighed and then fell onto her tush, a loud thud echoing in the training room as she was more tired than she let on, "Yea man. You know how wind is. It's a multihitting element, but they're somewhat weak hits. Her defense is so good that I gotta rely on my mitts....which isn't a bad thing normally. But wow, are scales supposed to be that tough?" he asked, shaking his head and noticing that his dark green tank was a complete mess. His fists were also a bit bloodied and bruised, having been punching against her large armored body.

"You give me too much credit. Those fists hurt...and you're pretty fast. Rizzy is faster than me too...but that's what happens when you're my size. Too much stuff weighing you down." she remarked, playfully wrapping her arms around her chest and sticking a tongue out at Ruru. Rizan laughed as she too took a seat on the floor, with Michael completing the circle, "Hey, don't tell me you're angry that I hit you on the left breast. You turned suddenly when I was aiming for your back..." he added in, remembering that she was in a bit of pain after that. No amount of defense could protect you from your weakspots, knowing that he and his bud would be in pain to a nutshot or something like that.

"Haha...man...you think we'll be ready by the time the tournament rolls around? We don't even have a fifth member yet. Brian said that we won't last very long without a strong 5th member." asked Eura with concern, knowing that no matter how much training they do, they need another person to hold up the team. Ruru tilted his head and shrugged, having no clue to who to ask, "Yea he said that a week ago...but where the hell's he been? He vanished during the party and I'm pretty sure he promised to get things going with your black magic bs. Too bad Phrin and John are out. We could use her fists, or his ice powers. He's gotten a lot stronger since you two fought you know." remarked his best bud, disappointed that he choose a different life but respected it none the less.

"Gentlemen...and ladies! Glad to see you haven't slacked off in my absence!" shouted a voice that sounded a bit too happy, though they all know who it came from. Abu had arrived on the scene, but not going down there for certain reasons. Ruru sucked his teeth at that bastard's timing, standing back up and stretching, "Bout time you showed up! Thought we had to save your ass again!" he shouted back, Abu laughing and giving the four the signal to come up, Ruru flying up there while everyone else used the ladders, taking a moment to climb up there. Once on the basement level, they saw a large crate wrapped by a blue ribbon, a crate about 9 feet tall which was not there earlier, "Finally. Good to see you all keeping to your training even while I'm indisposed of. I brought you all something good...and it's not the catered food inside this crate." remarked Abu, giving his friend Ruru a high fight into a handshake, and doing the same for the rest of the crew once they arrived on the basement level.

Shyranrya smelled something oddly delicious coming from the crate, letting Rizan do the honors since she also caught a whiff of something mouth watering. The wooden crate came apart rather easily, revealing several clear containers having food, each with their names on it. Shyranrya gasped and snatched her contained before anyone else could check what they had, "Eeee! You brought me feeeeeeeeeesh. Salmon, Bass, even shrimp! How did you know I love seafood?" she asked happily, hugging the large container to her stomach and nearly drooling at the thought of partaking in her favorite food.

Michael chuckled as he had no idea either, normally eating Rizan's cooking and never seeing her cook anything seafood related, "Ah well I know you're part sea serpent. It's in the blood...though Rizan may have mentioned it to me. I need you all to eat up, as we have something to do today." he explained while grabbing the container for her, which was full of juices and a famous brand of vodka. Michael and the rest each took their containers, but Ruru quickly set his down and grabbed Abu by the collar of his shirt, normally grabbing him by his labcoat but he was not wearing it today for some reason, just his normal black shirt and blue jeans, "Wait wait, this is a bribe? You know everytime you've sent us out there, we've had to deal with some life threatening bullshit because of you."

As much as they did not want to admit it, the last few missions the dragoons went on were pretty close calls, Abu adjusting his glasses and smirking at his green haired friend, "Well how is this any different from when we were dragoons? I'm pretty sure every mission was pretty much life or death. You're a man aren't you?" he asked, making Ruru narrow his eyes, then let him go, "Yea you're right. Those were the days huh?...you got me oatmeal and a salad. Nice" he complimented, partaking in the lunch brought for him. Rizan several different portions of meat, from pork, to beef, chicken and venison, being a major fan of meat in general.

The dragoon of fire got a 3 foot long sandwiches, with ham, mayo, lettuce, the works in general which was something he loved. Abu know what the crew liked, making himself a screwdriver and sipping it down as they ate, "Mmm...well while you eat, I'll explain. Honestly, this mission can't be any easier. I was out looking for the V-bot we need, the fifth person for our group, and the black dragon for the spell. But before that, I'm sure you all want an update on the visitor Ruru saved, correct?" he asked, the group nearly forgetting about that dragoness. Tatyana was taken home the next night, the same time Abu seemed to have vanished.

"Oh right, is she okay? I healed her as best as I could...but you said she needed rest." wondered Shyranrya, being worried for her safety since that night a week ago. Abu didn't sound sad so she must have recovered properly, grabbing a wooden chair and sitting on it, "Welp...you did your best. She's alive and well...but she's now mute. They cut out her vocal cords and you know the 24 hour time limit on magic so your healing didn't regenerate those. Luckily there's other methods to get information from someone...but before I even get to that, she says she's incredibly thankful for you Ruru, and the shark girl Nika. She plans on repaying the favor in the near future." explained Abu, Ruru pouting a bit and disappointed they couldn't save her in time.

"24 hour limit...right. That's where magic can no longer interfere with the body's natural healing right? I remember Payne mentioning that." remarked Michael, thinking back to when he was a dragoon. It was the main reason why his scars also could not be removed magically, the scientist adjusting his glasses and giving a nod, "Yea. Don't feel too bad though. She's happy to be alive and she's safe. I got the info we needed...which luckily coincides with our next big mission, getting a V-bot." continued Abu, the V-bot being a very important part of their plan of training. Abyssion's battle data was to be used on one, and Abu took it upon himself to search for a still working v-bot the past week.

"Although I left you guys a message a few days ago, let me go into detail what a V-bot is." began Abu, wrapping his arms together and taking a deep breath, looking around to make sure that he had everyone's attention, "V-bots were special robots with the ability to accept "personality" data. Personality data is as it sounds, data of a personality. Something like that takes years to make, since perfectly copying someone's personality is not simple. However...they were soon taken off the market once someone realized that techniques and fighting moves could also be copied, along with their power. That is what we call "Battle" Data, data collected from someone's fighting technique, which again takes years to accomplish. Although you cannot carry over special abilities like what a dragoon spirit or a magical relic grants you...so don't expect Abyssion's battle data to have his trademark fire. I personally overtook the dismantling of all the v-bots but, I left only a handful to those who only wanted it as a collector's item...and even then I charged a good sum." he explained, wanting to make sure his team was informed on what a v-bot was and helping them understand the purpose of the mission he would soon give them.

"V-bots...I made a killing delivering those. They were the hot seller quite some time ago. Didn't realize that they could be used in such a way...so I'm assuming that you can't simply build another." asked Ruru curiously, thinking that the so called smart guy could've simply made another one, "Noo...it's not that simple. The parts to make one are very specific, too specific to gather the materials. You have to understand, V-bots were made with best technology I had to offer, at the time...in fact it's something I reversed engineered with Jack. Simply amazing techology I found many years back." replied Abu, having wondered if he were to be asked to simply build one than to search around for it.

Michael tilted his head and wondered where they would have to go from here, giving his head a rub, "So...we're getting this V-bot thing? Where is it? Please don't tell me it's in a volcano underwater in space guarded by N.D.'s cronies or something like that." asked the dragoon, agreeing with Ruru's earlier statements that everytime they went out, it ended poorly for them. Abu narrowed his eyes for a moment, before sighing and shaking his head, "No, there's no break in or sneaking around this time if that's what you're asking. We're simply to pick it up. I'm having one of you play delivery boy and to just bring it to me after giving the original owner a certain sum of money. Luckily he was convinced that letting it take on dust was not as good as an instant few mill of Kash." answered Abu, making Michael breathe a sight of relief.

Rizan ran a claw through the dragoon's hair, trying to help him relax. She had been filled in on what they were up to, and Abu had been somewhat crappy with the missions he gave out. Thank goodness they both got through those ordeals, Michael only thinking of the N. Cyphers, and recently of Dullock. He felt like he had lead boots on when fighting him, being countered at every corner by that incredible skill and not once did he hesitate behind the blade. Honestly Dullock was probably stronger than the N. Cyphers, that dark lizard setting the bar for the dragoon to surpass, "....Alright. I got it then. Though why aren't we going as a group?" asked Michael once again, Abu shaking his head at the question.

"No dice. If someone happens to attack this place, someone needs to be here. Don't worry though, this town in the middle of nowhere, so you'll be fine...I think---?..." spoke Abu, before being cut off by his P.I.C. ringing. It was odd to get a call at this hour, having routed all calls from Black Dagger to an answering machine, fishing it out from his pocket and checking who it was, "...wait, this isn't a phone call. It's a teleport request. From...Phrin? Huh...Eurasia, did you have an appoinment with her? Should I let her in?" he asked, Michael giving a nod as it was obvious that she was a friend. If she wanted to be here, there must have been a good reason for it considering how busy and hectic her life was.

Abu gave the approval and a few seconds later, a loud flash and sound of thunder brightened up the room, the group turning and planning on greeting the blue lawyer dragoness, "Hi guys! Sorry if I'm intruding...something big has turned up." she remarked with a serious tone, soon showing that she had not come alone.

To be continued...
