Well, it turns out I was able to finish this chapter pretty quickly, so... Here it is!

Confined: Chapter 9  Chrom's Awakening:12/15/15   I see strange places in my dream. Strange people, strange places, strange things are all present. I see a beach at sunset, and I realize I was swimming with the white husky that was called Kyle. The water feels so nice and warm, but not comparable to the warmth of his hug and his love. Both of our fur is wet, but I still feel his chest burning, heating me up.His face was bright and cheery. We seemed to be laughing over some matter. I rested my head on his chest as he nibbles on my fox ears. I feel...somehow safe with him. I feel complete. Kyle smiles with his ears poking straight up. He then pulled me in for a kiss. I feel him brush his muzzle across mine, and I feel waves of emotions come over me. I suddenly become aware of what I was doing with him. I thrash in my bed as the dream slowly dims. Who the Hell is he?! I look out my window to see the moon rise over the stars, and I scan across my room until I came across a figure slumped in a hospital chair. My breathing stops short. He came in here... My mind screams that he's a stranger and I want him out, while something in my chest yearns for him. I reach a compromise: I ignore him. 12/16/15    Chrom's perspective:      Light filters in from the windows and I slowly wake up.    "Chrom, how are you feeling today?" a nurse says, with her chair pulled in front of the uncomfortable bed. She's a human with pink hair, and I chuckle to myself a little because I thought for a moment she was Nurse Joy. She's leaning over the bed like a parent over a crib of a young child. She's happy, no doubt about that. She activates some buttons on the bed and it moves to a 100 degree angle, so I wasn't excactly sitting straight up. Now that I can see, I observe the room around me. The brown fold-up chair is empty.  I'll just call her Joy for now since I can associate that name with that face, asked, "Is something wrong?"   I clear my throat, which feels better than the aching it was giving me yesterday. "Where is the boy...Kyle was his name I think."    She looks at me and smiles for a second, then answers, "He had to go to school, honey. Though, it won't be much longer because you've slept like a rock until twelve."     "Can I...see him?"  "Yep. We're about done giving you all the necessary shots that are required for you to leave. Do.. You want me to alert him?"      "I'm not sure; I would like it to be a suprise."   "Oh, well, your address is right here."  She pulls out a map. It's colored with all of the roads, grass, and locations looking all lifeless. "If you want to get to your room of 317, you want to take this path. There's a little secret beach behind the hospital, and there is a road that can take you back to your school. Oh, by the way, I excuse you from the rest of the week at school."    "Thank

you," I say, studying the map to see all of its intricate road patterns. She then leads me into a room to finish all of the last dosages to heal my wounds.  ---2 hours later.----   I step out of the hospital when the sun is on the horizon, but blocked by a forest of trees. The wind brushes through my fur and turns me around to view a vast field of grass and a cobblestone path leading to a section of the dense brush. I start walking, my mind racing on what I was going to tell Kyle. I eventually decide upon just remaining friends with him because in all honesty, I still have the slightest idea who he is. I walk up to the deep brush and see that the aligned trees form a hole which I could crawl through. I slowly get on the moist earth and move against it to get through. Sudden sunlight hits me, and I realize, this is from my dream.    The waves lap up against the shore and a slight wind whistles in my ear, but I ignore them and look out into the lake and see the excat spot where he kissed me. By it, was a palm tree that gives off a déjà vu feeling. I walk around this tree and come across a bicycle, with blue handle bars and blue wheels. I swing my legs over and discover another cobblestone path that leads to a old Victorian house that I supposed was our temporary lodging for this boarding school. I start cycling and feel the wind through my fur, giving me another déjà vu feeling. The approaching building gets closer and I notice that miday has turned to sunset.      I walk inside the house and took an elevator up to the 10th floor, but make a few errors in finding my room. As I arrive to my room, I see the husky in question...seperating our beds? I walk into the room and he perks his head up and says, "Oh! Chrom! You're here a lot earlier than I expected..."   "What are you doing?" I ask confused.   He looks like he is trying to form an answer for a second, and then says, "Umm... Before you lost your memories of me, we slept together...as odd as it may sound."   "You keep saying I lost my memories, but did I really?"    "That's up for you to decide. You only have your anwser if you trust me, which you probably don't since I kissed you yesterday and you had no idea who I was."      "I'm sorry I slapped you." I say, blushing. Kyle goes back to his work of seperating beds while he answers, "It was my fault; I should have understood that you were frightened, and confused, and to have a bombshell be dropped on you must've sent you over the edge."    I walk over and help him seperating beds, and as I move it, something drops from the covers. A necklace with a sapphire in the center.     I...I feel connected to this. Where is it from? It swirls in my mind, and a glimpse of a memory occurs. Or is it a dream?     ---   "Chrom! How do I look?" Kyle says laughing. He's bobbling around in some skinny jeans and a shirt that

I picked out for him. It fits him nicely, and the brown shirt goes really well along with his white and silver fur. I walk up to him and pull him into a nice kiss, setting off fireworks in my chest. We then stop, and Kyle runs over to the counter and buys two necklaces. He then walks over to me, and puts the necklace around my neck, and connects it for me at the back. He smiles and says, "A gift, for that we may never forget eachother."   His necklace matches my eye color, and mine matches his. We walk out the store into a vancant mall hand in hand.   ---   Kyle stops working on his now seperate bed, and walks over to me.  "Is something wrong?"   His face glows, and his sapphire eyes shimmer. I pull him into a kiss. I catch him by surprise, but slowly, he gets into it. We back out and I say, "I don't know if what I have are dreams or memories of you, but I would like to make new memories with you, ones that I KNOW are real."    He pulls me into a hug and cries, "I'm so glad I didn't loose you."    I pull apart and ask, "So, Kyle, how did we begin dating?"   He sits down and begins to retell the story, but I feel odd. I pass out. ---   I am on a lab table, and above me is him. He has multiple torturing devices, and he breaks every part of my body. He scaredly states, "Chrom, rebelling against the school will get you nowhere. You need to join us."   I shake my head no, and he brings out a pistol. A family walks in, my family. I struggle against the beams helpless, and then I watch everyone in my family slumps to the ground, dead. Kyle comes over to me, "It could have been different; you could have saved them." ---Sudden perspective switch Kyle  He falls asleep, probably bored of my storytelling. Poor Chrom. I chuckle to myself as I cover him up with a blanket. I walk to the kitchen to fix myself a bottle of water, but then I hear muffled cries and whimpers from the bed. I quickly approach him, to see him thrashing violently against the bed. I put my arm on his side, but I feel a green goo from it, almost like the fluid from the shot we took at the beginning of the year. I run out of the building to find help, my feet reaching longer strides as I approach Zenna, who is reading a book.     "ZENNA! CHROM ISNT ACTING RIGHT! COME HELP!"   He looks at me quickly, out of fear and dashes with me back to our room. He pins Chrom down and I yell,  "WHAT's HAPPENING!"     Chrom gets up, and his eyes have turned from a calm green to a violent red. He tries to slug me violently, but I dodge and look back at him frightened. He says at a rasp, "Y-You murderer!!!" He then tries to choke me, but he is pushed back. Zenna pins him against the wall. "TRY TO SORT OUT WHAT IS REAL AND WHAT'S JUST AN ILLUSION! CALM DOWN CHROM! HE WOULD NEVER DO THIS TO YOU! REMEMBER WHO THE REAL ENEMY IS!"    His quick

breathing breaks down, and before I know it, he passes out again.    Zenna pulls me into the closet.   "The green shot we had to take at school takes away memories at impact and inflicts violent new ones upon the user. Chrom's memory loss is no accident, but he's going to have to sort out what's real and fake on his own. I need you and him, when you are ready, to meet me at the top of the school building,9:30 pm. Thursday!I can explain everything then."     We leave the closet and I watch him go as I see Chrom sleeping peacefully again.     He was right. Something was wrong with this school, and instead of protecting him, I let him get hurt.  I stand there crying as I realize that he is in agony, somehow wrongly caused by me.Section 3: Lost
