His voice was harsh and sedusive, like leaves crushing in the autumn. His mane was groomed like a real gentlemans, smooth and properly oiled. As he whispered in her ear she had to steady herself, for his smell was so strong it almost pulled her to him. She bit her lip and tried nonchalantly to pull herself from him. She knew she wouldn't be able to hold herself from him any longer if he kept on smiling and touching her hand.

"So what do you say?" He asked, trying to get closer to her once more. She tried pulling her small human hand away from his huge paw to no array. "I'm not sure I'm comfortable with going outside at this hour." Her voice was low, but it held a strong tone. "It's only for a short walk. The moon is out tonight, you know. I don't know how you can be so selfish as to hold back your true form." He grinned awkwardly, yet it made her heart pump even stronger in her chest. She lowered her gaze from his eyes to his strong maw, and then to his bare chest that was only covered by a suit. She wanted to rip his clothes off with her hands. No, with her claws. _Yes, she wanted to transform just like him and take him there on the table. "It's getting late..." She said teasingly. His grin faded and became an awkward smile. "You could take me home. A lady shouldn't walk by herself at nights like these." Taking her hand back she grabbed her drink, gin and tonic, drank the whole thing in one gulp and placed it on the table in front of him. His eyes went wide and then shrunk as he understood the invitation. She walked out of the bar while he threw a couple of bucks at the table before going after her. As he came out of the bar and the light of the full moon hit his fur, he shone a dark silvery color, making his profile even more staggering to look at."You're still resisting the urge to transform? I'm beginning to wonder if you truly are a wolf." He held his arm out so she could hold him. She grabbed it at once and felt the muscles under his soft fur. "Mind you, Ares, I am a wolf. I just don't like to show it to people because of my color. And besides," she turned her yellow eyes to look at his icy blue. "You haven't deserved to see me transform yet." She smiled seductively and let her hair fall in front of her face so that he couldn't see her from the side. "I love your name by the way, though I don't think it suits you very well. You don't seem like the _god of war." He looked down at her and then up at the moon. "It's just a name." She turned to look at him and almost fell. His voice hadn't been seductive and he hadn't whispered. Good, _she thought. _He seems to be more normal now. "Don't worry about it, ehm... well you haven't actually told me your name. Do you want me to beg for it?" He sniffed her hair playfully. "Hmm, I could take a name just like you: one of the gods. Why not Gaia?" "The goddess of earth and the mother of Titans? Now don't get mad at me or anything, but I do think you're far too young to be a mother." She smiled at him. The fastest way home to her was through a park. She was glad she had him with her, hungry eyes watched her as she walked and only a slight glade from him was enough to get them crawling down their holes again. "Okay I'll tell you my real name, but you have to promise not to laugh at me." He gave her his full attention as he saw how hard it was for her to tell him. _Maybe it's not really her? Oh gods, I really hope it isn't. She's so nice and I haven't had this much fun in a while. _He thought guiltily as they walked. Their path was illuminated by a weak stream of light from the lamps. "It's Nyx." She said at last, taking a long breath and waiting until no one could hear them. "Nyx? Like the goddess of night. Well your parents were creative at least. Yet another thing we have in common." He let out a small laughter just to keep it simple. He knew that was her real name. "I guess so." The mood had fallen and she suddenly felt awkward beside him. He had somehow become an entire different person after they left the bar. They came out of the park and to her building. She insisted on having another drink at her place and he agreed. She noticed how he became more and more stiff as they walked up the stairs. She found her key and put it in the lock. It turned with a satisfied click and she went in. Ares felt heavy as he went into her apartment. He turned around and locked the door behind while she was occupied with getting her shoes off.

Nyx and Ares looked each other in the eye. Neither of them moved, they just stared. It wasn't an awkward or aggressive stare. No, there was something in the other persons eye, something they knew they had seen in the mirror before. They hadn't drunken anything, the glasses still stood full on the table between them. It had happened as she had given him the glass and their hands met. It was like one of those blue, cloudy summer days when you lie on the grass and just watch the sky move. Everything was suddenly at peace and nothing in the world existed except what they could see in front of them. Before they knew it they had bent over so close they could smell each others soft breathing. As Nyx heart tried to catch up with Ares her body transformed. She became a werewolf, half human half wolf. Her fur was fiery red and her eyes shone even brighter golden now. Ares felt his body laps forward. And before he had time to react he was already kissing the soft lips of the other wolf while she ripped open his dress revealing a strong chest. They fell on the table and then to the floor in a fury of red and gray fur. He held her arms up above her head as he kissed her neck, hearing her moan in satisfaction. But as his maw went down to her breasts he stopped because of her growl. "W-what's than on your neck?" She asked, and when he fully stopped and his claws curled around her arms she knew she was in real danger. She was too swift for him though. She pushed him away with her legs and staggered to the other side of the livingroom. "You're one of the Fangs!" She growled in terror and got hold of her hidden knife. Drawing it his eyes went icy again. "I wish you weren't one of the Claws though." He said with a sincere sadness in his voice. But this is what I was send here to do. I need to get the job done no matter what. _He told himself, breaking off a leg on one of the chairs. They went head on. Her sword barely touched his shoulder, yet in motion of falling he stabbed her in the left shoulderblade. He almost panicked as he saw her blood on his chosen weapon. He didn't _want _to hurt her. Not when he knew she was special to him. He knew she would be the one even if she died. Despite the pain she attacked once more. This time she evaded his attacks and went for his leg. The cut was so deep she was sure he would die from it. Yet he stood as solid as a mountain. They began biting and hitting each other until they had wrecked the whole place and they were both cowered in blood from head to toe. Both were ready to fight until bloodloss or exhaustion killed them. "Stop. Just stop." Ares said, holding his hands towards her. She kicked him in the gut and watched him fall to the floor. "Don't lie to yourself! You felt the same as I did back there. You felt that out destinies are bound together and you know it!" She backed off now. Nyx didn't want to think about it, but she knew it was true. "Please, let's just think about it for a while. We can figure it out together, but... it's not likely we'll survive if we see each other. I was send here to kill you, yes, but that doesn't mean I _want _to." She leaned against the wall and fell down, curling her body around her legs and letting her tail rest in front of her. They went quite for a while. Ares lied on the floor with his arms and legs in every direction. "I think you need to leave now." She said at last. Her voice shaky and full of tears. It caught his attention at once and despite his own injuries he went over to her to comfort his destiny. "I-I just never thought I would meet _you, and specially not like this." She confessed looking up at him. She pushed him away as he tried to hug her. "Please, it will only be harder if we keep touching. Go, we both need to get out wounds fixed." He sat in front of her with his face down for a while. He wanted to howl, to rip his own heart out and give it to her for ever hurting her. He would never have behaved as he had if he knew she was the one, and he would have done everything to protect her. So that's what he would to, protect her from harm. "I'll leave now, but please..." He stood up and went to the door. "Take care of yourself, and... don't forget me." He closed the door slowly behind him and felt his body could barely hold him up. He went outside and waited for the other Fangs to see and help him. Ares watched the moon that night. He lied there on the ground just watching it, the same way you watch clouds on a summer day.
