"will you be my partner?" Anthony really wanted to say yes, especially after everything him and Avery have recently gone through. But he had to think it over. What would the others think?. Would they trust him? If they found out that he was in love with one of these creatures what would they do? How would they react? Anthony looked up to the bats eyes. He felt devastated that he couldn't just simply follow his heart on this question, that he so fondly wanted to say yes to. "I'm sorry but I'm going to have to think it over"? Anthony said miserably. "ok hun intirely upto you, it's your choice not mine remember?"Avery said calmy. "ok thank you" Anthony mumbled before giving the bat a quick kiss on the cheek. Avery smiled and wrapped his wings around Anthony. Within a few minutes they were both asleep.
Meanwhile back at the boys bunkhouse... Josh and the others were starting to to doubt that Anthony was still alive. He had been gone longer than promised. Josh looked around the made up camp area. He sighed. He really hated being here. There was always a constant struggle for survival and order. There had been a few little skirmishes that occurred between the boys but they were resolved. He knew that one day that if this kept up that there would be a skirmish that he couldn't stop. He just hoped that Anthony was still alive and that he knew what he was doing. Josh noticed that there wasn't much firewood left. Josh sighed and picked up his rifle. He decided to take this round of collecting the wood. "hey guys I'll be back in a few" Josh shouted "ok be careful" a boy shouted from somewhere behind the bunkhouse.
Meanwhile 156 miles away at a stop secret facility Zoey pulled her boots up and tied the laces. She was informed that today she was going to be briefed on something top secret. Zoey was rather excited. She hasn't had a assignment in a while but a top secret one! The anticipation started to eat at her. "So what do you think they want us to do this time?" Zoey asked her freind Rachel or rach for short. "well it wouldn't be top secret if we knew what it was would it?" Rachel stated sarcastically. "Ah shut it Rach" Zoey said rather anoyed by her freinds reply. Rachel just smiled. She loved it when she teased her friend and the reactions that followed to her torments. Zoey stood up and looked herself over. Her lightweight military costume fitted her perfectly and hugged nicely around the curves of her waist and breasts. She looked up at her freind, who was just finishing. "Come on Rach" Zoey whined Rachel looked at her freind and sighed
Rachel and Zoey had finished getting changed and were just about to enter the briefing room. "here goes nothing" Zoey pushed open the door. They both gasped. They were expecting many people but were greeted with the sight of a single wolf in uniform. The wolf looked at them. "please have a seat" the wolf emplied Without hesitation Zoey and Rachel took a seat. The man opened a file and took out a few pieces of paper. Then turned his attention to the two female spec ops. "So what do you know about aliens?" the wolf asked casually. Zoey and Rachel both looked at eachother and laughed "you can't be serious?" Rachel said through laughing fits. The wolf didn't reply and kept his expression serious. Zoey noticed the look that the wolf was giving and elbowed her freind to get back in line. "oh you are serious?"
Artic forest Josh had picked up a few fallen logs and small pieces of wood and put them in his make shift sack. It would do for tonight Josh thought to himself. He turned and started to follow his footprints back from where he came from. Josh was almost back when he remembered that he had forgotten something. Josh dropped the sack down and face palmed himself. He had left his rifle. He turned and rushed back to it. Without that rifle he was defenseless. He quickly arrived to where his rifle was. But it wasn't there. He looked around frantically. But couldn't find it. He looked at the ground and that's when he noticed. There were other footprints in the snow, and they didn't belong to him. He had to get away fast. Josh was about to turn and run until he heard a click and then a piece of metal poke him in the back of the head.
Back at the barracks... Anthony stirred from his sleep. He yawned and got up he looked next to him and saw that the bat was still sleeping. He gingerly crawled over to the bat and hugged it. Avery moaned and opened his eyes and smiled. The kid was hugging him and now started to kiss his chest. "Good morning cutey" Avery said down to Anthony. Anthony didn't reply. "So I think we should talk for a bit" Avery said getting the attention of Anthony. "Is it about my freinds?" Anthony asked curiously. "Yes it is" Avery mumbled "Oh good, so whats the plan?" Anthony said happily. "Well later today today two intelligence officers will interview you, you know like ask questions about how you got here and such" Avery stated "And then what?" Anthony said "After they have gatherd there Intel they will look it over and acess it Then they will talk it over to command and try and come up with a solution" "Sounds good" Anthony said happily. "Avery?" "Yes hun? "Can I visit my freinds?"
