Sky was looking at Star as he slowly regained consciousness. Sky was wondering what would Jack want with an otter especially one that was a slave. Sky thought Jack was being too kind to one of such lowly station, more like one of shy temperament. But then again Jack had a soft spot for underdogs this otter was no exception. 200 years jack has been alive and in this area. And yet he still acts like he's only 21 and his first day in this area, on this continent, in this world. 1 thousand dead bodies and maybe 10,000 crippled or maimed, and Jack still tries to act like the white knight. True many of the people he's crippled or maimed are terrorist, slavers, rapists, child molesters, drug dealers, or those who profit from those activities. Sky remembers what Jack told him when they first met. "Just so you know my hairless one my history is long and Bloody." Despite Jack's cold piercing red gold eyes that many of the ladies compared to diamonds by their sharpness. He has made friends with a macro tiger, a giant lion, and himself Sky. Sky also wonders what's his place in this world if this otter takes it from him. (Background music playing Du Haust by Raimstein) Jack is known for being the best two-handed blade man you could meet and six counties. Also is one of the best camouflage Scout's and sniper hunter. Many more thoughts go through sky's mind and then he realizes there is music playing nearby probably Jack's CD player thingy. Sky wishes that Jack would at least show him more, tell him more of the dark side of tech. Skies jolted from his thoughts by Jack's hand on his shoulder. Jack says "Sky you might want to keep an eye on the surroundings." Star opens his eyes and sits up. Jack speaking "boys pack up your bedrolls will be leaving shortly star with Mark and Sky. Rose and I will take the scouting trail for the next hour or so." Three days of travel later. Star is sitting behind Sky on Mark's back to the last hour Star has been trying to get Sky to talk to him at least no luck so far. From around a stand of trees Jack and Rose come into view. Star can't wait to speak with Jack, of the four days that he has known this group. He has learned much how to make fires with two sticks, how to build a shelter, even how to hold a dagger. In his former life Star knows that even hold a dagger would've cost him his life. Now he owns one and he knows how to take care of it and use it. Jack is told Sea star that the other three of force seven are on the northern continent. Lady Sasha, Julie and Roy are gathering some of the information from their informants so that when they meet up back at Jack's headquarters they can plan their next mission. Star knows that if Jack needed information he could simply use his dark tech that Jack keeps in his own bag. Of the dark tech that is an open display is a tool on Jack's belt that's next to his thigh that's called pistol, another tool that hangs from his back Jack calls a sniper rifle. Hanging at kidney level is a pair of swords that have golden hilts wrapped with Dragon Hyde leather and bound for gripping with platinum wire, blade of each sword is roughly 30 inches long Jack says so, Star has seen them when Jack was cleaning them double-edged blade a light bluish color into the metal that glows somewhat eerily. Star had once tried to touch them that Jack grabbed his hand in a viselike grip and told him. "These swords will accept no hand but mine if anyone else were to touch them. That person would know of very painful death to the swords are made from special steel alloy. Foraged by a master craftsman and enhanced by tech and blessed by a priest of my faith. They are very powerful. Sky also has equipment that Star is curious about those Sky keeps them close to his vest. He has a sword that's less refined than Jack's. On his thighs are interesting pair of gloves for those gloves have blades on the 9 inches long razor sharp on one side with little hooks on the other side. Sky calls them claw gloves his purfured weapon. Sky reaches back to the otter to hand him his lunch. "Skinny boy" Sky says to get Star's attention. Star says "thank you" to sky. Star still marvels about the little bags that Sky and Jack have. For such a tiny pouch they hold a lot of equipment. Star hopes that one day he may receive one. Star starts to open up the bag for lunch. When Mark makes a misstep, a small stumble really. Star doesn't quite know how to get over his fear of Rose or Mark for their size scares him. They have made motions and gestures to him in friendship. But he cannot quite tamp out his fear today of their size. As Rose and Jack get closer Jack comes his hands around his mouth and shouts in his gibberish that is his native tongue. Star does not understand this language yet. Sky cocks is ears to listen to Jack's words. Look on Sky's face shows that he is hearing something that displeases him. Star asks Sky "what's going on?" To which Sky gestures to Rose. Rose stops next to Mark and they stand side-by-side Jack jumps to Mark. Star finds himself hoisted onto Rose's back Jack having a hold of his shirt. When Jack reaches the saddle that he usually sits upon he tells Star. "You'll be traveling with Rose for a little bit while me and Sky take care of some business." (Background music playing NO Place to Hide By Korn.) After which Jack jumps back to Mark and Rose charges off for a mountain trail that has a sign next to it that says winter pass. Star grips the saddle tightly as he looks back. He hears the sound battle of the fight he prays his friends will make Out of. Whatever Sky and Jack are fighting are making terrible noises.

Hours later

Mark comes walking up the trail Sky and Jack are with him. Star watches as they come closer he hopes that they are all right. For Mark has some blood on him and he's walking with a limp. Sky also looks like he has blood on in one of his ears looks like it's flattened. Jack seems to have more marks on him but they don't seem to slow him down. Rose uses her tongue to scoop Star up. Despite his shriek on entering her mouth he hears her say "we must continue on."
