Joe's older brother is back!

13 Years had pasted, 11 years after a horrible event that befall on my mother, and 13 years of losing my older brother. All I had left was my older sister, as she looked after me as I was growing up, I still feel my older brother's presence, watching over me..
Became 16 years old, leaving the life for me and my brother, but a strange thing will happen, happening on my 16th birthday..
After dealing with a rudest, dim-witted school bully from harming one of the students, I had regain the powers I had inside me all of my life. I remembered that my older brother had this same power as well, he would show me some cool tricks and moves to use the powers.
He would teach at a distance as he didn't wish for me to be harmed by the flames he can create from his hands. As then years from learning, he was very proud that I can create the fire as well. He once told me that this power was called "Starter", it was a data base name for the element powers of creating, and using the elements around us.
Keino had the title as the Fire Starter Pyro, as he can fight other starter kids that had different elements, like water, earth, wind and much more!
But mother told us that the starter powers were forbidden from being used at all. To her reasons why cause it reminded her of father, well my father. Keino had a different dad, as to a reason why his fur is darker than mine.
Back to what's going to happen, later that day, I was frigging attacked by some freak with a strange hairdo, as he was after me and some weird jewel that was called the wolfian gem.
As he didn't believe me, he was ready to take me away, but till then.. strangest to ever happen on my birthday, was that a young wolf man had shown up out of nowhere, ordering the baddie to take a hike, but the freak wasn't listening, so the dark brown wolf guy raised his right arm towards the bad guy, and his arm started to be surrounded by purple flames, like the way my was, but my flames were red..
The pyro wolf shouted out the same attack that I called mine when I was facing the bully, as he did. The brave wolf guy had smashed the bad guy in the face, sending him flying into the skies.
It seems that this guy was more experienced than I was. But hey, I'm a beginner still since my older brother only taught me the basic.
So anyway, the pyro wolf guy came closer to me, as he got near, I could see some many purple tattoos on his head, then he lay both of his hands on my shoulders, I started to freak out a bit since I don't know this guy, and he might want to try to kill me.. but all that changed till I heard what he said to me.
"Long time.. no see.. little brother.." as he spoke those words to me, I was puzzled.. brother? Who was this guy and why would he say I'm his little brother?... weird..
"Look closely, Joey... remember hard..." As he told me those words, I look into his eyes, and all of sudden, I started to had flashbacks to the day that Keino had died. As matching the memories and the face of this stranger closely, I had finally known that this man is KEINO!
I didn't know how was it possible that it was really Keino... standing in front of me, all grown up, and different..
"K-Keino?... Is that you?.." As I ask that question to him, he nodded and held me really tight, but too fucking tight as I noticed Keino was more stronger than he was back when he was a pre-teen wolf. But it doesn't really answer on how he survived that night!
"I missed you so much! Look how strong you gotten, little pup! I guess those basic teaching on starter really worked out well for you. My... look how much you grown.. Soon you'll be a man like me soon enough.
As the young man Keino was happy to see me and greeted me and telling me how much I learned and grown into this teen age wolf pup he sees in front of him.
Hours later, Keino took me to a diner to eat, and to catch up on things since somehow Keino had rose from the dead and came back to check on me, and my sister. I look at him, still pondering about on what the hell is happening and how my long dead older brother came back all sudden from all these years!
So I ask him a question, and try to see what happened and how he came to be.
"Keino... What happened to you?... how... how-" Keino interrupts my question, and says to me.
"How I'm alive and been gone for 16 years?.. Well You wouldn't believe me if I told you..."
I looked at him and told him to try me, as then he sighs and puts down his fork as he was eating some steaks, as he looks at me, right into my eyes.
"All right then... On that night when the thunderstorm was so bad, the tree landed on me, pinning me down to the ground as I couldn't get out, the fire was getting close to me, even if it was raining, the fire didn't turn off, as then everything fade to black.
I awoken in a house, as I saw I had bandages on my chest, and arms. It was seems that I was saved from the fires, and the storm. An old man appeared and told me that he found me under that tree, he seem that he got me out of there and took me to his home, to heal from the minor burns I gotten.
This man was a red wolf, must had been very old since he had a beard, and had a strange expression."
As I heard Keino's story, I asked him on why he was gone away for a long long time. He closed his eyes, and sighs, as he slowly gets ready to answer my question.
"You see pup... I couldn't go back knowing that I would be sent away from home, and far from you, so I stayed hidden and pretend to be dead, I trained and learned a few new stuff while I was away, but I kept a eye on you, watching you grow, and become strong...
I was waiting to come back till I was 18, but you were gone, I didn't know why till I found out that mom.... I'm sorry... that I couldn't been there to do anything... if I knew that...that.. I would had done something..."
I looked down as I see the emotion on my brother's face, that he would had saved mom.. but he didn't knew till it was too late..
"Don't blame yourself, big brother.. it was my fault.." I tried holding back my sadness and tears, as my brother place hand on my head like he used to did when we were kids. And he looks at me and shhing me.
"How was it your fault, pup? You were a puppy back then, you couldn't done anything to defend yourself and mother."
I bang my fist on the table, as my brother doesn't know the truth about how mother died, I've looked at him and told him in tears.
"The reasons that I never used my fire starter powers anymore, that... THAT... I killed mom! I caused her death with my power... I tried to help him by trying to keep the bad man away... but my fire was hard to control, it ablaze the house!... and....and..-"
Keino places his two fingers on my lips and told me to calm down, as he looks into my eyes, as he starts to speak to me.
"You couldn't known that it would happen... Fire is something that it can be peaceful.. but it would become furious and dangerous... you were young and you couldn't learn to control the blaze.
It's my fault for not teaching you to control the flames of the fire.. never blame yourself, understand, Joe?"
I nodded slowly, and tears a bit as I had let out the feelings I had deep inside after the years of mother's passing, and the nightmares I been having of that horrible night.
Keino got up, and told me to go home and see my friends, as he says he'll meet me later as he wishes to tell me something he needed to tell me.
I agreed, and both Keino and I had left the diner. As he disappeared, I went my way to see my friends and regroup with them. As hours of the pass, I went with my friends to the bridge for the river-walk festival right after I got to know the special tiger, LT.
But things were not going to last, as the freak that I had encountered earlier shown up again, and it seems he had brought a ugly giant fish like beast that was coming up from the river. As everyone was panicking, I jumped in and kicked the beast in the head, but it seem that my attack barely did a thing to the ugly fucker.
It had raised it's tentacle, and wailing it at me to harm me, but then nothing happened, as I open my eyes, and what I saw was my brother, Keino. It seems that he stopped the massive tentacle from moving, and then he had somehow cut it with his claws.
The beast had started screeching very loud, as it became enraged, and very pissed off. It started to move it fat ugly massive body towards us. Keino told me that it's time to try the attack that we both had learn together, so we both place our arms together side by side, the flames were joining together, red... and purple as the heat started to increase.
As the monster is getting closer to us, Keino and I had shouted out the name of the attack together, and started to run toward the beast, it begin to open it's mouth to try to engulf us, but nope. Myself and Keino had jumped and as we close to the monster's head, we connected our fists to the beast's head, as the flames dealt a huge blow to the giant's head.
"HHHEEAATTTT FFFIIISSSTTT!!!" as the name of the attack was completed, the power had damaged the beast as it was killed by the combine attack of the heat fists of me and my brother.
The bad guy had fled, and disappeared.. But we all know that he'll return. But for now, everyone went home, and I went along with my brother.. to catch up on things.
Back at his apartment, Keino was sitting on the sofa next to me, as he was drinking some tea, as I was drinking a can of cola. My brother had place his tea on the coffee table, and started to speak to me.
"Guess we kicked ass, we defeated the first monster we ever faced in our lives, and you were a brave pup."
I placed my soda on the table, as I started to sob lightly, holding back my sadness emotion, as I turn to my brother and hugged him tight, as he had his arms out. Seeing me crying into his arms.
"Where did you go.... * cries * You just left... without saying anything..." I cry so deep, my brother held me tight to him as he embraces me, as he kiss me on my head, telling me that he's here to stay for good this time.
Hearing those words made me calm down, as it felt good to be near my older brother again after all these years, and even known that he was dead, but it brought more joy to my heart to see and feel that Keino was alive again...
But things may be too good to be true... he's good and kind now, but later in my time in growing, I learn the truth to what happened that night and how it was connected to what happening...
We going to forward to the time that I'm 20 years old, and Keino is 32 years old... what would happen? We'll see now..
"Keino.... Where you been?... We thought that.. you were killed... It's so good that you're ok and safe." as I said to Keino as he stood in a distance, different... with a cold look in his eyes...
"Joe, be careful! Keino is different! I sense something wrong with him in his body!" As LT shouted out to me, I turn to him, as I did, LT yells out to watch out, I turned back and see my old brother in front of me, as he grabbed me by the neck.
What happened to Keino!? We don't know... but stay tuned..
