Chapter 8: Savior (1/2) ~ Episode 18: Coming For Her Rescue

That very day, George came up to Kiseki before closing time, and scratched behind his neck, "Hey, Kiseki. Can you help me with something?"

The feline nodded his head, slipping on his jacket which he had been removing from a coat rack, "Sure. What's up?" he smiled.

"So," he looked behind himself as nobody was around anymore, "did you see that little girl that came in earlier today? The one who was returning "The Wolf Runs"?" he asked.

Kiseki nodded his head, "I didn't know what she was doing, but yes. I did. What about her?"

"Have you seen her mom?" he grunted, "She's abusive towards her!"

"Come to mention it," Kiseki blushes and cowered slightly, "I thought I saw signs of abuse, outside the library...but with all of the news stands and bookshelves outside and whatnot, I thought it was my imagination." he sighed, "...I was...wrong, wasn't I?"

George nodded his head, "Yes, you were. The mother is very abusive to her daughter. Her name is Violet, and I was wondering if you could help me find out about her."

"By searching through her library account?" he gasped.

George nodded his head, "If there is an easier way. I want to do this to, possibly, find her address and or parent's phone number, so I can report this."

Kiseki sighed, shaking his head, "I'm not supposed to do this," he logged back onto the front desk computer, waiting for it to boot back up and running, "but I'll do anything for protecting kids." he chuckled.

The two got the information they needed, and reported the abuse to the police, whom would not arrest, simply interrogate the mother and give her a warning. Any further signs of abuse would result in a penalty of seeing her daughter. They couldn't find out the results of it all until tomorrow, as when she'd return, as promised.

George simply went over to a restaurant after work, and sat down at one of the tables, waiting patiently until his food had arrived to his table. He ate a simple small meal. Without Nick around, he didn't feel the same way about eating large quantities of food. He only liked it when Nick was there to cuddle against him and feed him silly, stuffed to the brim, and then they'd kiss and have a fantastic night.

But that was going to take some time before any of that were to happen again.

George was about done with his meal until someone sat down in front of him suddenly, without warning. It was a lizard, with yellow scales and blue eyes. He had a slim and fit body, wearing a black button-up shirt and white jeans which fit him rather tightly. He chuckled and introduced himself,

"Hello. My name is Zach." he grinned.

George nodded his head, "Hello, Zach." he giggled, "Did ya need something?"

"Oh, not really," he toyed with a tie he was currently wearing, a red one, "just a confession."

"Confession?" George seemed a bit confused at the moment.

The reptile licked his lips, "You have a great body, you know."

George blushed, "Oh... thank you..." he made a goofy smile, confused yet somewhat proud, "You really think so?"

"Why yes I do," the lizard moved closer and rubbed his belly, seductively licking at his cheek, "How about you and I go somewhere else? My place?" he growled playfully at the red panda.

George wasn't too sure how to feel, he was afraid yet tempted to accept this offer... Nick, however... George was just too desperate for some kind of action, he was already hard from the lizard's belly rubs, and seductive licking. The panda sighed deeply, "Why the hell not?"
